Gaststätte Milchstüble in Bad Schussenried

Always a good address in Bad Schussenried. Excellent service and food!

We passed by on a hike and, frankly, were only expecting fries or something similar. Instead, we found a great Balkan platter, friendly service including self-service, and friendly hosts, along with that cozy outdoor pool café atmosphere from our youth.

Unfortunately it was closed here, but it was indicated on the Internet that it was open.

Unfortunately, the Torfwerk restaurant is only open Friday to Sunday, but it is definitely worth a visit. The menu is different than the typical ones here in the region. We had wild garlic dumplings with salad (without cream sauce) and zander with asparagus. The pike perch was nicely fried on the skin.

We only go out when it's closed, otherwise this is the best restaurant within a 50 km radius # Unfortunately, this very good restaurant closes on October 31st, 2024 # Although no one offers such good and inexpensive food # With a 450% increase in gas costs, the best cannot survive # There would have to be a full house here every day to be able to continue # It's inexplicable why that's not the case #
