Die Chefin ranzt auch schon mal die Gäste an, wenn ihr danach ist. Ansonsten sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Essen.

Der Schwarze Adler wurde uns empfohlen, und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Service war freundlich, höflich, aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Ambiente ist interessant: von außen erwartet man eine urige Bauernstube, innen kommt man aber in eine zeitgemäße Einrichtung mit farblichen Akzenten, die trotzdem irgendwie die erwartete "Urigkeit" nicht vermissen lässt. Sehr durchdacht. Das Essen kam - trotz voller Auslastung der vorhandenen Plätze (also unbedingt reservieren!!) - äußerst zügig. Die Qualität war sehr gut und die Menge an und für sich ausreichend. Weiteres Qualitätsmerkmal: Die Speisekarte ist nicht zu groß und die Komponenten auch nicht zu zahlreich. Preislich kommt man in Relation zu dem, was man an Service, Ambiente und Essen bekommt, überraschend gut weg. Mittleres bis sogar unteres Preissegment meiner Meinung nach. Was auch positiv auffiel: die Toiletten und die zugehörigen Böden waren erfreulich sauber. Hier hätte man bedenkenlos vom Boden essen können, habe ich selten gesehen. Und: der Service war sehr kinderfreundlich. Ein Hochstühlchen, ein extra Teller, alles war kein Problem. Ein Wermutstropfen ist die Parkplatzsituation, aber das zerstört die 5 Sterne nicht.

Ich war vom Service total Enttäuscht,die bedienung hat die Tische um unseren alle Flott bedient ... wir wurden nicht beachtet, bei einer warte zeit von ca 25 min bis wir endlich mal von der Chefin persönlich unsre Bestellung auf geben konnten. DAS Essen war aber sehr lecker und sehr frisch gemacht

Super leckeres Essen in großen Portionen schnell serviert von einem freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service zu einem günstigen Preis. Auch eine kurzfristige Reservierung wurde flexibel eingeschoben. Tolles Ambiente modern mit urigem Charm. Geräumig, sauber, unkompliziert und sehr kinderfreundlich. Ein gemütliches Lokal zum Wohlfühlen für einen kurzen Stopp oder auch ein ausführliches Essen. Ausreichend Parkplätze in weniger als 2 geh-Minuten Entfernung.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Die Portionen sind auch für gute Esser ausreichend. Ich hatte den Grillteller mit extra Rahmsoße und eine Leberknödelsuppe, beides war sehr lecker. Auch ein sehr guter Beilagensalat den mam selten so bekommt. Ist zu empfehlen.

Ein toller Gasthof mit ausgezeichnetem Essen, hervorragendem Service und einem sehr schönen Ambiente. Das Angebot unfasst vor allem die gute fränkische Küche. Über die Speisekarte hinaus gibt es tägliche Angebote. Hier sollte man unbedingt einmal einkehren.

Sehr gute und üppige Mahlzeiten. Auch die Auswahl in der Speisekarte ist super. Service und Küche sind sehr freundlich und reagieren schnell auf Wünsche. Wenn hier voll ist,ist es leider sehr laut. Schade ist,das der Biergarten im Außenbereich leider direkt an der Straße ist.Das schränkt die Gemütlichkeit etwas ein. Ansonsten alles super - Weiterempfehlung

Sehr gute Gaststätte, sehr freundlicher Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir sind durch Freunde dort hin gekommen und können es nur empfehlen. Freundlich eingerichtete Räumlichkeiten laden zum verweilen ein. Der Service ist schnell und zuverlässig. Wir hatten Suppe, Hauptspeisen und Nachtisch und alles war sehr sehr lecker 👍 zu einem fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

We had a delicious meal. The quality and preparation impressed us. A very good restaurant! However, the interior ambiance is very dated and deserves a maximum of 3*. The smell definitely needs improvement: my clothes still smelled of the food and the deep fryer that evening. It was also noticeable on site. Perhaps the ventilation isn't working properly?

A first-class visit. The beer is delicious, the service is friendly, and the outdoor area is very pleasant. The meat—we both had venison—was divine, super tasty and fresh, cooked to perfection, with a wonderfully flavorful side dish. The portions are huge, and the price is worth every penny for the quality we received. We were very satisfied! A culinary highlight all around :)

The shoulder of pork, schnitzel, and tenderloin in chanterelle sauce were very, very tasty. The meat was particularly tender. The salad was made with lots of love and tasted like grandma's.

I came here by chance, because unlike the Wittelsbacher Hof, you can't get in without a reservation. Reasonable prices (€17.50) for a breaded turkey schnitzel with croquettes and a super-sized salad plate included. Very tasty food that arrived quickly. Simply excellent value for money. Overall, a pleasant and shady atmosphere, simply top-notch.

Incredibly delicious food! I've rarely eaten such a good lumberjack steak. Very friendly staff, and despite our large group (9 people), the food all arrived almost simultaneously and, above all, incredibly quickly. Everyone loved their food. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

We had a spontaneous meal on Easter Monday. As always, it was very, very good. Super friendly service. The food also came quickly. Always a visit.

As soon as we entered the entrance area we were greeted by a cloud of cigarette smoke as the smokers were smoking inside the building next to the entrance door instead of outside the door. For me as an asthmatic, an absolute no-go! Unfortunately, the food itself didn't get any better. The carp chips did not consist of finely cut fillet, as I know from other restaurants, but of thick, elongated pieces. Unfortunately, the taste didn't make up for it either, as the carp wasn't watered enough for my taste and therefore tasted like "fish". The fries that were served with it didn't really go well with it either. Overall, the whole thing was far too dry. So unfortunately I didn't like it. Except for the salad, which was good.

If you want to eat Franconian dishes, then you'll definitely get your money's worth here. In case of intolerances, the response is good. The price-performance ratio is definitely right and I've always been full.

We went here for dinner during our 2024 summer vacation. We liked it a lot. The food is delicious, the portions are large, and the price is reasonable. The beers are delicious on tap. The service was quick, there were many service staff on site. The menu can be viewed on the homepage. In addition to Franconian dishes, there are other alternatives, including seasonal dishes. We really enjoyed it and can only recommend a visit to the Black Eagle. You will have a delicious meal there and a lovely evening.

The black eagle is worth a trip, that's Franconian hospitality. Unfortunately, the Brombachsee is otherwise characterized by fast food and industrial food.

We ate there and what can I say, the food was the best I've eaten in a long time. A great afternoon at the Brombachsee and then this restaurant was recommended to us by Google... a great TIP!!! The atmosphere was great and everything was very clean. The only thing I or we have to complain about is the service, which was more than unfriendly. It seemed to us as if she had no interest in people and zero joy in what she did. But it was really only one and the others were very friendly... but that's still why points are deducted. If we are in the area again we will come back because of the great food...

The quality and freshness of the meat would have been twice as much in the States. I can't say much of the flavor as I am new to Bavaria meals and culinary style. I can, however, speak from an educated stance of quality. And this is quality. The meal was delicious in its own merits. I was pleased, and I am full.
