We spent a lovely evening in this cozy garden pub. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting – a real place to end the day. The food was outstanding! Freshly prepared, lovingly prepared and simply delicious. The selection of drinks also left nothing to be desired. The service was attentive, friendly and unobtrusive. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere!

We have been to this allotment pub several times over the years. With changing owners. The first one was strange, the guest was the disruptive factor, the next one was very right-wing, which is why we weren't there anymore. Now a new host. Almost full marks from all of us (6 PAX). The petite young woman in service was extremely attentive, friendly and quick. And that despite the hut being full. The menu is clear, lots of schnitzel with various side dishes, soups and salads. The vegetarian component could be a little more ambitious, but farmer's breakfasts without bacon are also available. I think all components of the food we had were homemade. The breaded schnitzel is particularly delicious, super crispy. Then why only five stars? Very subjective, but the portion (schnitzel gratinated with spiced meat) was really too big for me. And a small website with the menu would be awesome. We would love to come back, certainly more often in the summer. Please don't let up, the guest is a shy deer.

The food was very tasty and the price was also good. The premises are simply fitting for a garden pub, as the saying goes. Very cozy if you like the charm. In summer you also have a great terrace. We can only recommend going out to eat there 😉

The ambience under the pine trees is very idyllic. The staff very nice. Unfortunately we won't be coming back because the food wasn't homemade. E.g. the seasoned meat from the steak au four, the hollandaise sauce and the fried cauliflower. Nevertheless, the meat dishes cost 18 to 20 EUR. Really a shame! Maybe it will get better!

We spontaneously went out to eat in the garden and really enjoyed it. Our schnitzels were really good - nice and thin and crispy on the outside, good portions and everything served hot! Friendly service and a relaxed, rustic atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

A Rostbrätl on bread is a gastronomic delight. The price of €16.50 is overpriced and reminiscent of usury. Definitely not recommended.

The Mariental restaurant is a typical garden canteen, which is still quite common in Leipzig. It's nice to sit outside, but time stands still a little inside. According to hearsay, the operator recently changed. There is the corresponding menu, schnitzel, steak au four, solyanka, spiced meat. The Schnitzel XXL is rightly named. What you order you get in decent quality and quantity. The service is friendly and attentive, the prices are reasonable.

A friendly young team has taken over a long-established garden club restaurant. I can only recommend that anyone who likes good food should get on their bike and come to Marienthal in Lössnig. Very good price-performance ratio!!!

My husband and I made a reservation by phone with a very friendly employee yesterday Saturday for 6 p.m. The dining room seems very friendly, the tables are nicely set with placemats and napkins, which I didn't expect at all in a garden restaurant. The waitresses came quickly, were very friendly and took our order, the drinks were served quickly and then our food too. We enjoyed it very much. We also think it's good that different foods are offered as "small portions". In short, we felt completely at home and will definitely come back.

We went on a bike tour through Leipzig and stopped here for a break. It's great to sit outside on the terrace, either in the sun or in the shade of the trees. The food was delicious, lovingly decorated and the service was very nice. We would love to come back and can only recommend it!

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. Taste average, carelessly prepared. Dirty. Staff but friendly. Not worth a visit anymore.

12/26 Boxing Day, goose pre-ordered in November. There was nothing like that, they were just looked at askance and the boss who promised it wisely wasn't there today to explain himself. A fatty, shredded, small piece of duck was offered as a replacement. The atmosphere is relaxed and not Christmassy.

Thank you for the good hospitality. The rabbit liver was very tasty.

Sehr gutes Essen, freundliches Personal, kann man machen

Eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, nettes Personal und das Essen war auch gut gewesen Gerne wieder

Die Gänsebraten war gut und nicht trocken, die Klöße waren gut, die Soße sehr fettig aber geschmacklich gut. Das Rotkraut war okay mit Luft nach oben. Am Nebentisch gab es Forelle Müllerin Art. Die sah hervorragend aus. Das Würzfleisch soll ebenfalls hervorragend sein. Das gibt es als kleine und große Portion...das finde ich super. Leider habe ich kein Foto gemacht...

"Gartenkneipe" ist eigentlich zu tief gestapelt. War schon oft da und führe auch meine Gäste gern dorthin aus (bei der Konkurrenz bin ich irgendwie gar nicht mehr😀). Der Service ist nett und professionell. Die gutbürgerliche Küche wirklich auch immer top und sehr schön angerichtet (könnte man sofort Werbefotos von machen). Manchmal gab's auch kleine Tischaufsteller mit kleinen Sonderdesserts. Im Sommer ist die Terrasse toll, sie hat auch eine Rampe, die aber eher steil ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Medaillons ganz hervorragend. Toller neuer Besitzer seit September 2023. Nette Bedienung! Gutes Bier und die Solianka hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt! Komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Schöns Gartenlokal, es lädt zum Verweilen ein. Bedienung und Essen sind sehr gut. Hier kann man es aushalten. Schade, dass es kein Geflügel Fleisch gibt. Aber immer wieder werden wir das Lokal besuchen. Dankeschön

Ich kann diese Rezension rein garnicht nachvollziehen. Das Essen ist immer lecker und frisch, was mann als Fachkraft auch schmeckt. Ich esse gerne hier und bis her gab es nie Probleme dieser Art. Also ist dieses Kommentar derartig daneben und einfach unbegründet. Ruf Mord kann mit haft bestraft werden und das sollte sich der Rezensionschreiber mal zu Herzen nehmen. An alle Gäste!!!!! Schade, dass die schlechten Bewertungen von den alten Betreibern übernommen wurden! Seit der Übernahme 2022 ist es eine Top-Gartenkneipe! Und immer wenn wir da sind, ist es voll. Deshalb dieses Bewertung, nur aus Prinzip...

Sehr gute Qualität der Speisen, zuvorkommende und nette Bedienung. Preise völlig ok. Danke, bis zum nächsten Mal.

Kleines gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Personal und hervorragender Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Auf der übersichtlichen Speisekarte findet man ausschließlich Gerichte aus der deutschen Küche, was im Leipziger Raum derzeit nur noch selten der Fall ist, aber für Liebhaber echter Hausmannskost genau das Richtige ist. Alles kommt frisch zubereitet und liebevoll angerichtet auf den Tisch. Zu den meisten Gerichten wird ein knackiger Salat mit einer dezent gewürzten Essig-Öl-Vinaigrette in einer separaten Schale serviert. Die Portionen sind so reichlich, dass wir leider auf ein Dessert von der vielversprechenden Eiskarte verzichten mussten. Man kann dieses empfehlenswerte Restaurant mit einem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis inmitten einer Kleingartenanlage am südlichen Stadtrand von Leipzig durchaus als Kleinod sächsischer Gastronomie bezeichnen.

Even though Sauerbraten was delicious, service wasn’t good enough. It took the meal 1 hour to come.

Essen geschmacklich nicht unser Fall alles zu fettig ( schnitzel tropfte vor öl ) , wünsche wie zb andere beilage zum essen wurde zwar vom Kellner aufgenommen jedoch nicht berücksichtigt lag dann doch die beilage auf dem Teller wie auf der Karte steht, betreiber und Koch sitzen am Tresen und trinken erstmal selber Bier, Koch wirkte auch recht unhygienisch. Und zu den pommes gibt es weder Ketchup noch majo. Recht lieblos angerichtet.

Nachdem das erste Mal nicht so gut lief, waren wir jetzt ein zweites Mal da und haben es diesmal nicht bereut. Es ist eine klassische Gartenkneipe, das Essen ist gut und reichhaltig, das Team hat sich viel Mühe gegeben.

Sehr überrascht wie super es geschmeckt hat, eine zweite Einkehr ist definitiv geplant. Hatte Fisch mit Kruste kräutersose mit zwerggemüse... Sehr lecker.

es gibt neue Pächter seit 2022. Beim ersten Besuch waren wir sehr zufrieden. Da paßte alles. 8 Wochen später war unser Fazit: nicht gleich wieder ! Unmotivierter Kellner, schlechtes Essen, unsauberer Tisch etc. Schade, es ging so gut los.

Wir waren angenehm überrascht, wie schön es war. Sehr freundliches Personal und schmackhaftes Essen, liebevoll bereitet und angerichtet. Besser kann man eine schmackhafte Hausmannskost nicht anbieten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall bald wieder.
