Relax for a while during the visit to the castle. The waffles weren't really that tasty, but the service was friendly and there was a nice view over the Rhine.

I was at lunch today Been there and am absolutely impressed by the food and the service. Nice young waiters who come to the table every now and then and ask if everything is right. I can only recommend the waffles to everyone and the kitchen does a great job. I'm already looking forward to the next time :)

Wow! Eating here is an experience. Apart from the great view, all the staff are very friendly and attentive. The food also tastes great!! We had tarte flambée and then homemade cake. Great!! More restaurants like this!!

We ate here on May 4th, 2024. The Brauhausschnitzel that my wife and one of my sons had looked really tasty and according to them it was also very tasty. The Brauhausschnitzel definitely deserves 5 stars and I regret that I didn't order the Brauhausschnitzel too. Unfortunately, my other son and I ordered the currywurst. They should be ashamed of calling this a currywurst. We had the feeling that they had opened a can of chopped tomatoes as a "sauce" and simply emptied half the can over it. At least that's exactly what it looked and tasted like. The sauce was completely tasteless and there was no trace of curry anywhere. Even one star would be too much for that.

We had a nice break with delicious food and hot coffee with a view of the Rhine. Unfortunately, the only negative point is that there was no ice cream without waffles.

The restaurant in Drachenburg Castle is a real insider tip! The food is incredibly tasty and the service is very attentive and friendly. The view of the Rhine Valley and the historical ambience are simply fantastic. An unforgettable experience – I’ll definitely be back!

A nice view. Our schnitzel with fries were very greasy for us. The portion was large. Ketchup and mayo had been carelessly placed on the fries in their bag. A bit questionable in terms of hygiene.

I went to Yan's kitchen to put away the stove and there was nothing to eat, so I could only drink.

The ambience and view are unbeatable. The selection of food was clear but ok. The food (currywurst with fries) was tasty. The portion (I was full) cost just under €11 - of course you also pay for the view. But it was clear to me and ok in that respect. What I didn't like was the service. It was very chaotic even though there weren't many places to sit. Three waiters were at the table one after the other to take my order. At first I thought that was very thoughtful. Even though I was there alone, two portions were brought to me and I was told I had ordered both. Which is not true. You took a portion back with you. I had to wait almost 30 minutes for the bill after my meal. Meanwhile, the couple sitting across from me were able to order, wait and finish their meal in peace while I was still waiting for the bill. When I asked for the fourth time and added that I had been waiting for quite a long time, I was told by radio that I was stressed and that they should bring the bill - I was actually a bit stressed by now (but by no means unfriendly) because I still had to get my train ! I think a better organization of the service (e.g. waiters assigned to the tables) would certainly be helpful for guests and also for the staff.

Restaurant in the castle with spectacular views of the river and the valley. Eating and having a drink on the terrace on a good day can be a spectacular plan. We chose to eat because we were getting late and we decided to eat before going down because otherwise we would be late. The day was horrible (wind, cold and some rain that came and went). I give it a low score, first, because the restaurant, the interior part, was closed, which I did not understand when all the customers were dying of cold since the day was very unpleasant and there is plenty of space inside. Second, there were two waiters on the terrace but they did not seem involved in taking orders and delivering the dishes. And third, the food we ordered was very tasty but the waffles left a lot to be desired, the dough was very hard.

Bad food and expensive but with good service. Flammenkuchen with bacon and onion was bad. The price of tea was not mentioned on the menu, 6.30 for each as we found out when paying. On the plus side staff was very friendly and the service was fast.

The waffles can be used to further expand the castle. Visually appealing, but STONE hard and dry. It doesn't taste like waffles either. The criticism was not taken to heart either. It's better to eat something delicious somewhere else a few meters further down the mountain. But the view is very nice over the Rhine.

Very tasty food, very friendly and fast staff. I highly recommend the Nutella waffle with vanilla ice cream! -A dream!

The food was very good and you get quick and good help. I had currywurst with fries and you get free mayonaise with it. It was a nice lunch with delicious food. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

Extremely friendly service. As a guest you immediately feel welcome. It's been a while, but I still want to say a few sentences about this. I was so stupid (actually!!) that I confused the salt shaker with the sugar shaker and my vegetable soup was definitely too sweet. It was my mistake, but the soup was replaced with a new one without any problems. I find that anything but self-evident and it fits with the friendly impression that everyone who worked there made from the start.

Serwis was excellent, both ladies working today were funny and very helpful, thank you very much! Food was delicious, pasta with spinach was very fresh. Pizza-like dish was also amazing. However, there was only one pepper and salt for the whole restaurant… no olive oil and there is no spaghetti on the menu. I can recommend this place for everyone who likes to eat a great food watching a splendid view!

Great atmosphere and the food is excellent! Five of us ate here and we were all very satisfied. There were shashlick skewers on rice, bratwurst on mashed potato and carrots, delicious pasta Bolognese, lamb chops and stuffed baked potatoes with minced meat, vegetables and fried onions. Everything perfect. Price-performance ratio. All dishes between 10-14€ Thank you and see you next time.

I really enjoyed having lunch with my family in a great atmosphere on top of the heels we sat in the terras! What a wonderful view , the foods were amazing, we ordered schnitzel and special meatball with potato salad 🥗 that Maria offered us, what a nice people🫶Italian family running the restaurant, all had smiles on their faces, they welcomed us very kindly and we really enjoyed our time there. The quality of the food, the hospitality the atmosphere and vibes were at the top. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sehr leckeres Essen, preis leistungsverhältnis top, sehr freundliche Bedienung einfach nur ne 10/10!!

Trotzdem es einige negative Bewertungen gibt, haben wir sowohl was das Essen als auch den Service betrifft, eine gute Erfahrung gemacht. Sehr guter Tee in Bildqualität, Extras auf Wunsch angeboten. Weiter so.

Also die Waffeln & die Flammkuchen sind empfehlenswert, allerdings muss man sich dabei dann leider einen unqualifizierten, chaotischen Service über sich ergehen lassen. Wenn man drinnen sitzt wird alle 3 Sekunden auf eine Klingel gedrückt, die Kommunikation zwischen den Mitarbeitern wirkte einfach nur chaotisch und defizitär. Daher empfehle ich entweder nur draußen zu sitzen, was sehr begrenzt möglich ist, oder alternativ oben auf dem Drachenfels das deutlich bessere Restaurant zu wählen.

La verdad es que nada más que por el sitio en que se encuentra y las vistas merece la máxima puntuación ..pero vamos a ser correctos. La comida estaba bien, con precios asequibles y un servicio muy amable. Aconsejo comer allí y si tienes la posibilidad de cojer mesa con vistas en la calles es genial.

Mega schöne Aussicht mit super Essen und tollem Service. Es hat sich wirklich gelohnt die Drachenburg zu besichtigen. Danke nochmal fürs leckere 😋 Essen.

Good and swift service, great views, flammkuchen and waffles tasted good.

Nach Bestellung haben wir Getränke sehr schnell erhalten, da war alles gut. Auf die Waffel haben wir jedoch 20 Minuten gewartet, zwischendrin kam noch eine Kellnerin und fragte, was wir bestellt haben. Als das Essen dann da war, waren unsere Getränke, die wir natürlich zwischendrin schon angefangen haben, bereits kalt (wir hätten das gerne kombiniert). Für eine Waffel und zwei Kakao 18 Euro bezahlt, was wir doch als teurer empfunden haben. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön & der Service war ansonsten aber sehr nett und zuvorkommend, also eher ein Zeit-Problem bei uns, vor allem deshalb doof, weil wir die nächste Bahn wieder runter kriegen wollten.

Besonders freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Als wir wegen Unverträglichkeiten mit dem Angebot nicht zufrieden waren, bot uns die nette Wirtin eine Alternative an, einen sehr frischen und leckeren Salat. Generell würde ich dem Service und die Flexibilität 5 Sterne geben.

Sehr schönes entspanntes Ambiente. Freundliche engagierte Mitarbeiterinnen. Die Waffel war auch sehr lecker... was ich bei dem Preis aber auch nicht anders erwarten hätte.

Sehr schöne Gaststätte im Schloss. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, mega freundliche Bedienung und klasse Service!

Es gibt wenige kleinere Gerichte zu recht hohen Preisen. Sowohl Flammkuchen als auch Currywurst mit Pommes haben aber sehr gut geschmeckt und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

Der Name läßt einen Italiener vermuten, dem ist auch so. Auf der sehr knappen Speisekarte steht allerdings nur ein italienisches Gericht. Nicht weiter schlimm, Currywurst und Flammkuchen waren sehr lecker, die Bedienung freundlich obwohl wahrnehmbar Streß herrschte. Allerdings ist das Essen sehr viel teurer als an zwei Restaurants die wir auf dem Weg zur Nibelungenhalle gesehen haben und die nur wenige Minuten entfernt sind.

Ein tolles Lokal mit traumhafter Kulisse und besonders hervorzuheben, sehr freundlichem Personal! Wir waren alle happy mit unserem Essen und dem Service. Wir waren vor allem von der selbst kreierten Pasta mit Bärlauchpesto und roter Beete begeistert! Wirklich auf jeder Ebene weiter zu empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Sehr leckeres Essen zu humanen Preisen. Was besonders zu erwähnen ist, natürlich die wundervolle Aussicht, wofür auch bezahlt wird, daran sollte man denken, bevor man schreibt es sei teuer!!! Das nette und zuvorkommende Personal rundet die tolle Gaststätte ab. Komme gerne wieder vorbei, um mich von den Köstlichkeit verwöhnen zu lassen 🥰
