Leckeres Essen in Königswinter mit von den Terassen toller Aussicht auf den Rhein. Für Familien passt auch da Preisleistungsverhältnis und man wird von netten Leuten bedient. Gerne mal wieder!

Leider nur eine sehr übersichtliche Speisekarte .Kein Radler zu bekommen .Das Schnitzel war zwar ganz gut,aber sehr sehr dünn .Beilagensalat mit 7,00 sehr überteuert

Wir waren eine 7-köpfige Truppe, für die ich schon seit Längerem über Mail-Kommunikation (mit Bestätigung durch das Fährhaus) Plätze reserviert hatte. Als wir ankamen, war dort nichts bekannt. Immerhin wurden wir in die weniger romantische obere Etage verfrachtet und dort beköstigt. Essen war OK, Bier gabs nur in Flasxchen. Wein - na ja.

Tolles Ambiente und sehr gute Lage. Es macht einen sehr familiären Eindruck und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Service war Klasse und das Essen sehr lecker. Die Auswahl an Weinen ist sehr groß, so daß sicherlich Jeder etwas Besonderes für sich findet. Vielen Dank.

Ursprünglich im Königswinterer Süden als Weinhaus Bellinghausen beheimatet, wurde das Haus in den 60er Jahren des 20. Wieder mal super lecker gegessen im Alten Fährhaus in Königswinter. Es gab heute eine super leckere und reichlich gefüllte Fischsuppe als Vorspeise und als Hauptgericht wieder mal den super leckeren Saumagen mit Sauerkraut und Bratkartoffeln. Dazu gab es einen Sauvignon Blanc vom Winzer Butz aus Hochstadt in der Pfalz . Der Service war wie immer sehr gut und wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier hin.

Sehr nettes, gemütliches historisches Restaurant , sehr zuvorkommende, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Bedienung. Esen und Weine ebenfalls top, preisleistungsverhältnis passt, komme gerne wieder. Danke für den super Service

Nettes Lokal, gemütlich und lecker! Weniger aber leckere vegetarische Speisen - die spinatknödel zb! Allerdings absolutes no go, dass hier ernst gemeint „Zigeunerschnitzel“ als Begriff auf der Speisekarte zu finden ist..das geht gar nicht.

Ein sehr hübsches und gemütlichen kleines Restaurant. Sehr leckeres Essen mit freundlicher Bedienung. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen und gemütlichen Abend in entspannter Atmosphäre. Ganz toll!

Wir waren gestern wieder im Alten Fährhaus. Es war wie immer ein schöner Abend. Der Service war wie immer super und freundlich. Das Essen war wieder spitze. Es gibt für jeden Geschmack etwas. Die Weinkarte ist empfehlenswert. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher. Für uns lohnt sich die Fahrzeit von 45 Minuten immer wieder.

Beautiful terrace with a view of the Rhine. Moved indoors due to a rain shower. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are surprisingly low for the quality. We'll be back here when we're on the other side of the Rhine.

A truly rustic restaurant right on the Rhine.

Excellent location and the place to be, right on the Rhine. Genuinely friendly staff, and the food perfectly complements the wine bar. Since it's a wine bar, they only serve wheat beer.

Rustic and homely, be sure to try the spinach dumplings.

Perfect place to rest and refuel after completing a stage of the Rheinsteig. Altes Fährhaus is an excellent restaurant located right across from the Maritim hotel. Timely service, coupled with an attentive waitress and surprisingly delicious and complex meals - not to mention the portion sizes.

It's a bit more expensive, but the food is excellent and the service is very friendly. A lovely outdoor area where you can enjoy yourself.

The food was good, the service very friendly, but the ambiance was just so-so. We sat inside because of the weather; the terrace has much more charm. I wonder, though, why they still have to serve a Z-schnitzel! Please think about whether that's really necessary!!!

We were perfectly pampered on the beautiful terrace with a wonderful view of the Rhine. Good-humoured and funny service. A team that obviously gets along well. Delicious food. Always my pleasure.

We spent a short vacation in Königswinter with a couple of friends and ate twice in this great restaurant during this time: Pfälzer Saumagen, schnitzel with fried potatoes, but the vegetarian dishes were also really tasty. Plus a great red wine from the region - fantastic! The whole thing was rounded off by the very friendly and funny staff. If we didn't live so far away (Schleswig-Holstein), we would be regular guests... Thank you for two wonderful evenings!

Ate here on a Friday, at 17:00. The atmosphere was very relaxed, I liked the food and discovered a nice drink, bionade :) Good size portions.

Good food, fast, tasty and for a great price. The atmosphere both on the terrace and inside is cozy and pleasant. Also a fantastic view.

We went to bonn for the weekend, and afterwards we went to this restaurant, the drinks were good, but the red wine tasted like vinegar, when our food arrived it was warm, but it was almost cold. Everything tasted very salty and like vinegar. When I ate my steak and took some kräuterbutter it was so salty that I immediately reacted, my butter tasted like margarine and I paid €30 for a steak. It was not worth it cause next day we all got a stomachache and got the runs. I do not recommend this!!Edit:Unbelievable my mother felt terrible after this and she started vomiting and everything was just so stressful this restaurant gave her food poisoning never am I going back here!!!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡 I PAID 170€ for FOOD POISONING, UNBELIEVABLE..

The Old Fährhaus in Königswinter was a really nice discovery for us. As soon as you arrive you are greeted warmly - the service is attentive, warm and at the same time pleasantly unobtrusive. The menu offers a good selection of dishes - from classics to seasonal specialties. We particularly liked the fact that in addition to the fixed dishes, there are also some daily specials. This ensures variety and regular guests can always discover new things. The drinks menu is also impressive: a nice selection of good wines, as well as other suitable drinks for every taste. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared, beautifully presented and most of all: really tasty! The ambience is cozy and authentic - a place to feel good, whether for a relaxed dinner or a short stopover on the Rhine. Conclusion: If you are looking for good food, friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, the Altes Fährhaus is the right place for you. We'd love to come back!

"We recently visited the Altes Fährhaus again and were, as always, thrilled by the excellent quality of the food and service! The terrace is a real gem - a quiet and cozy place to enjoy a good meal and soak up the sun. The service is always friendly and attentive, the waitresses are always smiling and helpful. But the highlight is definitely the salads! We chose the one with sheep's cheese and were thrilled by the fresh and diverse selection of ingredients. The combination of crisp leaves, juicy tomatoes and creamy dressing was just perfect. We always enjoy coming to the Altes Fährhaus because we know that we can expect excellent food and great service here. We are already looking forward to our next visit! 5 out of 5 stars!"

Most beautiful terrace on the Rhine.. The service was incredibly friendly.. I had a lot of laughs with the boss of the house.. the food was fresh and tasty.. the recommendations for the right wine were straight to the point.. It's unbelievable how they react!! Maybe you should work on your cretic skills. I was also part of the society and fell ill, like almost others 15 PEOPLE!! Now I would probably be quiet with your accusations about the number. For me it started during the night. Your reaction to it really says it all. Our reaction to this will be that we will definitely never enter this store again and will not recommend it to anyone else. We will contact the health department. Have a nice day

We were there as part of an event and what can I say? Almost everyone who ate the side salad had food poisoning the next night. Unbelievable... this can't happen. That was extremely violent. Under no circumstances will we visit this store again. P.S. Your reaction says it all. I will contact the health department. And look forward to receiving comments from other guests. I know 10 alone!!! personally who felt the same way. And it is wrong that the effect sets in immediately. That depends on the pathogen. Do you still remember EHEC???

Excellent food, really fresh and tasty. We chose the jägerschnitzel and the spinatknoedel. We liked that there were some vegetarian options in the menu, which wasn't the case for the other restaurants of the area. The restaurant inside is quite cozy. I highly recommend it.

I see a certain discrepancy between the prices and the ambience. Food was tasty! Strangely enough, there is only Flensburg beer there. And of course wine.

Top food, top wine, top service – the old ferry house impressed us across the board. The rustic decor gives the whole thing a charming, cozy character, but the highlight is clearly the food. The goose was buttery soft, an absolute delight, and the cordon bleu was simply delicious. Particularly worth mentioning is the regional wine, which complements the food perfectly - simply delicious. Everything is just right here - a place you should definitely visit if you're looking for great cuisine

A beautiful, cozy, old inn with a beer garden, located directly on the Rhine. There is a large wine list, not too many, but very tasty, also seasonal dishes. I had water, a Pinot Gris from Rheinhessen, a chicken soup first and as the main course a winemaker's roast with boiled potatoes and salad. When the food comes, the smell hits your nose and your mouth starts watering, then you don't have to say much about it! Eat like your mother's! Highly recommended!

Nice service, great food, great ambience

We simply love the Altes Fährhaus - the boss often makes the bread herself which is simply a heavenly delight! The other dishes are also skillfully and tastefully prepared! Thanks to the chefs!

Today we had a meal in the old ferry house with four people in the afternoon and were treated to delicious food. The atmosphere down there on the Rhine in the beer garden in the shade of a huge plane tree is simply wonderful. The menu, including a board with current daily specials, is clear, but all the dishes we ordered were fresh, tasty and really worth the price. The service also left nothing to be desired. Gladly again.

We were there for dinner with 6 people in sunny weather. Very nice terrace. The food was also very good. The service was extremely quick and friendly, even though it felt like 35 degrees that evening. Quality of the food was very good. The atmosphere that evening couldn't have been better. We really liked what bothered others, if you can deal with the service's sayings like "There's no beer here, we're a wine bar. But there are also Flensburgers..." It all worked out for you nice relaxed evening.

The food was ok, although 0/8/15. We came with a group of around 30 people and unfortunately we weren't allowed to order everything, only selected dishes. There was a bowl of fries for 4 people (not enough)!

I always like to come here, especially in autumn/winter when there are mussels. They are prepared very tasty here and served on particularly pretty dishes.

I've wanted to go there for a long time and stopped by spontaneously yesterday. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and you could even have fun together. We had sausage salad with fried potatoes and sheep's cheese. Both very tasty and recommended. The apple spritzer was also very good. It goes without saying that you pay a little more in a location where many day trippers come. We will be back.

A very cozy old wine bar in a beautiful old ambience. The service was very friendly and reordering the side dish (fried potatoes instead of fries) was no problem. The food was fresh, tasty and the portions were very generous.

Unfortunately the conditions were not very friendly. When asked whether there might also be Jägersoße/Jägerschnitzel, the cheeky answer was no, then we would have listed it. We would also have liked to have fried potatoes instead of fries with the schnitzel (fried potatoes are on the menu), but that wouldn't work either, instructions from the kitchen. We're not coming anymore! Positive: We called 30 minutes in advance and got a nice spot with a view of the Rhine.

We were there as a group in April. When I ordered a blind Pilsener, the lady with the gray hair gave me a curt answer: "We're a wine bar!" We didn't really feel welcome anyway because we were a relatively young group compared to the other guests. The choice of food this time was very poor. And the food was better quality a year ago. The waitress seemed annoyed and slapped us back into the restaurant like children while we were just outside the door to smoke. In the wrong end, the insistence on professional service was made. The lady came uncomfortably close to us as guests just to insert the water glass into each one. Which we found unpleasant. After the meal, no more drinks were requested and we ultimately had to ask the lady to come to the table to collect. The question was asked twice in a rough tone whether they would be paid together or separately. Conclusion. It's a shame that the red-haired colleague didn't host us again. A year ago, the service from her was top, warm and friendly. I'm just wondering why someone is so rude to their guests.
