Gaststätte "Kirchderner Eck" in Dortmund

Von außen absolut unscheinbar, sieht eher aus wie „die normale Eckkneipe“. Das man hier aber ein so geniales und frisch geklopftes Schnitzel bekommt, hätte ich nicht erwartet. Das Essen ist super, das Ambiente sehr gemütlich und die Bedienung ist schnell, freundlich und wenn nötig schnell zur Stelle. Ich würde das Kirchderner Eck jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort. Das Essen war sehr lecker hat leider nur sehr lange gedauert bis es serviert wurde. Sonst eine sehr urige Gaststätte.

Leckeres Schnitzel und sehr schönes Ambiente. Außergewöhnlich , man fühlt sich wie im eigenen Wohnzimmer. Ich hatte das Schnitzel „Scharfer Stephan“ was sehr sehr lecker war . Der Service war freundlich und auf Zack. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ❤️

Die Bedienung ist extrem aufmerksam, freundlich und dabei angenehm schnell – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Essen ist einfach sehr lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Frische Zutaten, toller Geschmack und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre machen jeden Besuch zu einem echten Genuss. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können diese Gaststätte nur wärmstens empfehlen!

A perfectly ordinary suburban pub, but the food is amazing. The schnitzels are juicy, the sauces and side dishes are generous and freshly prepared. The portions are huge. The landlady is happy to pack up any leftovers. I've rarely had such a delicious schnitzel combination.

This place is highly recommended. Everything is homemade. Home-style cooking, just the way you want it. I'd be happy to come back anytime. Thank you 😊.

Yesterday, I celebrated my half-birthday at Sabine's in Kirchderner Eck with almost 40 people. We had the schnitzel buffet and, for the vegetarians, herder's cheese with grilled vegetables. There were also meatballs, potato salad, farmer's salad, cheese, and bread. Plus plenty of delicious Kronen Pils and various other drinks. We were all thrilled with the food, drinks, service, and the warm atmosphere 😀 Thanks to Sabine, Hannah, and Samira for this wonderful evening 👍👍👍

Today, after many years, I was back at the Kircherner Eck with my siblings. The food was amazing, and the staff and owner were fantastic. Excellent service. The food was prepared with love. I can only recommend it. My siblings enjoyed it just as much; it's just like we remember it from back in the day. Keep it up.

We ate here for the first time this evening. Had read the reviews beforehand. The food was just super delicious. My husband and I both had a schnitzel dish. Here the schnitzels are freshly processed and prepared. Sauces are made in-house using fresh ingredients. You can taste that. The boss and her employee are really nice. If we come to Dortmund and this corner again, we will definitely be there again to eat.

Very tasty food. The landlady responds to all special requests and is very friendly. Pick up takeaway food regularly. Can only be recommended!

Were there for the first time about three weeks ago (Saturday). Although the kitchen was normally closed on that Saturday, we were offered (if we had time 30-40 minutes) that the landlady would still prepare schnitzel. What can we say, it was worth it, 100%. We have been regular guests ever since and have even taken friends there. A really cozy restaurant. They are slowly dying out. We will definitely be there again tomorrow to eat sauerbraten and beef roulade.

Nope, unfortunately that was nothing. The waitress was super nice and was super proud to serve the large schnitzels. We go out to eat in different restaurants about 3 times a week and I eat a schnitzel at least once a week and unfortunately these schnitzels are some of the worse ones! The schnitzels that I prepare myself at home are better and I don't go out to eat only to get worse schnitzels. Positive: The schnitzels are very large and they look good with the sauce! The schnitzels were tender too. Negative: As someone here wrote in the bad reviews, these are really greasy! So, after frying, schnitzel must first be placed on a piece of household roll, for example, so that the schnitzel loses a little fat! Furthermore, the schnitzels were not seasoned at all or were seasoned so little that you couldn't taste it. My wife had a hotter sauce and it didn't matter that the schnitzel itself had no taste. Before breading, you have to season a schnitzel with salt and pepper. The sauces were homemade, but the taste was only partially convincing. And for a price of just under 16 euros, I expect more. There's a salad somewhere else. Therefore I would actually only give it 2 stars. Due to the nice service, I unfortunately cannot be responsible for this and give it 3 stars! Tip: Place the schnitzel on a household roll to degrease it and the gypsy sauce from the metro tastes better than the homemade one! Do a taste test with the guests to see whether they like your homemade gypsy sauce better than a ready-made one from the wholesaler. One day after we were with you, we were at the Schnitzelhaus in Duisburg Rheinhausen. Price was the same, there was salad with it, schnitzel was also huge, but had a lot of flavor and the sauce was better too. It wasn't a restaurant either, but a real restaurant.

Kirchderner Eck definitely has the best schnitzels in the city! After ordering, you can hear the schnitzels being beaten from the kitchen; it couldn't be fresher. In general, the dishes on the menu are very tasty across the board, generous portions at affordable prices. The burger is also amazing. Friendly landlady and service in a rustic atmosphere. All in all, 100% recommended and we would love to come back again and again. Tip for everyone who likes it a little spicier: Schnitzel “Devil”…

We were at Kirchderner Eck again on Wednesday, and as always the food was excellent. I treated myself to Sabine's self-created Tex Mex burger, and I have to say it was excellent. We had a lot of fun in the Kirchderner Eck beer garden. We will be there more often.

We were here with the Kulinaris Card. It's a shame that some dishes are directly excluded. This can be seen directly on the first page of the menu. We were also told directly that only fries were available today; all other side dishes such as fried potatoes were not available today. Card payment is also not possible, it is immediately signposted that only cash payment is possible. We then decided on 2 schnitzel dishes, each with hollandaise sauce. This was very, very little, hard to find. Otherwise, the schnitzels were large, tender and very tasty. The side dish, in this case the only option of fries, was also a large portion! Fries are thin, crispy, and awesome! Service was good, nice waitress. As stated on the menu, it took a while for the food to arrive, but this was justifiable given the good quality of the food. The atmosphere is very "pub". Inside there is a counter and a few tables where you could eat. Outside, when the weather is good, there is a nice beer garden with nice tables. Very child friendly! A high chair was available and we were even given a bouncy animal in the beer garden! At the end there were even lollies on the house. Ok for a good schnitzel, otherwise seen as a pub.

Family tradition is very important there and a very nice landlady.

We were there for the first time on May 8th and will definitely be regular guests. We are self-confessed schnitzel fans and here we have the best schnitzels for our taste. Since we also have to eat a gluten-free diet (emphasis on having to) we were totally overwhelmed. Because here you really know your way around and feel like you're in good hands. As a comparison, we went to a schnitzel factory again and weren't impressed. A clear statement from us. Kirchderner Eck is our highlight and saved my “tumble day”. The cook is really great. The way we interact with one another is a bit reminiscent of a clubhouse. Relaxed and nice. Prices and portions great So we'll be back

Eat good. Good price/performance ratio. Unfortunately, I don't understand why people who don't even come to the restaurant give negative reviews. See Bella Farfalla. Impossible. There is a nice crowd in the restaurant, without any prejudices. Every guest is warmly welcome. And as already mentioned, there is delicious food at a reasonable price.

The food was really delicious! The staff was also really friendly. Only the ambience wasn't quite what we expected, more of a pub feel. But if you look past that, we were extremely satisfied.

Leider nur 2 Sterne... eigentlich eine schöne Gaststätte,allerdings sehr schmutzig,draussen nicht einladend...es gab keine Karte und wurde nur gesagt was sie uns anbieten könnte. Also entschieden wir uns nur für ne Portion Pommes 🙈 sehr fettig,älteres Fett und ne ranzige ,kaputte Flasche Majo. Naja,der Kaffee hat wenigstens geschmeckt....ich würde keine Empfehlung aussprechen!

Restaurant mit Schnitzelkarte. Bedienung schnell und freundlich. Das Schnitzel war in Ordnung, allerdings war recht viel Öl vom braten auf dem Teller.

Freundliche Leute. Wir hatten ein Schnitzel mit frischen Pfifferlingen und ein Hawaii-Schnitzel. Beides wurde frisch für uns zubereitet. Wirklich gute Schnitzel-Portion. Es hat uns sehr geschmeckt, und wir werden auf jeden Fall hin und wieder hierhin kommen.
