It's a great place to celebrate a birthday. We recently celebrated a birthday there and went for brunch. The staff was super friendly and even fetched fresh water from the local shop when a child wanted it. Afterward, we went bowling, which was also cool. Afterward, we had soup, which was also delicious.

Very tasty, home-style food at a truly unbeatable price. We'd love to come back!

We stopped in spontaneously and by chance on a day trip, and it was worth it. The menu is quite schnitzel-heavy. Prices are hard to find these days, and the food was delicious. 5* in every respect.

This restaurant was recommended to us during our stay in Gehrden. We were not disappointed. The dishes were delicious and the portions more than ample. We would also like to acknowledge the hospitality we received here. The host and waitresses were unobtrusively warm. We immediately felt at home and returned the next day. It was truly a journey back in time. Everything was neat and clean. Good schnitzel options at prices from the past. Friendly service and a taste of village life were included. The food still tastes good, too.

To be clear: this is a rural village restaurant. The menu is manageable but consistent, the atmosphere is rustic but honest and the landlord is friendly but unobtrusive. We felt very comfortable here and the food tasted fantastic. The prices are absolutely reasonable and we got off to a great start to our vacation. We were really surprised. We came across this place online because the reviews were really good. And we can only agree: It's a quaint, beautiful, and clean restaurant. Excellent value for money. Fine beer, even on tap, and good wine. And the schnitzel is a dream. Just like home. Thank you for the experience. We'll definitely be back!

We were looking for a place to get something for lunch. My mother-in-law was in rehab and you visited her. A friendly innkeeper served us. We found a table in a small dining room. Mainly there was schnitzel on the menu. When we looked at the prices we were speechless. Very cheap prices. Where else can you get this? But could it be tasty? Friends... it was absolutely delicious. Large portions too. There is a schnitzel hidden in the picture... So we'll come back soon!

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed despite the advertised opening hours. Very annoying considering the long journey.

What a brilliant pub! We've been going fishing to Dringenberg for 10 years, this year we ate there for the first time, we should have done that much sooner! You can be lucky that you can still find restaurants like this in villages. It is a mixture of restaurant and pub. I hope Dringenberg can enjoy the advantages of this restaurant for a long time to come.

Today, January 28th, 2024, at 12:50 p.m. food was refused in the restaurant. (For whatever reason!!) There was still a table available, it might have been possible to go outside. We were in transit and thank you for the negative service!!!

Delicious food, absolutely worth the price (very cheap). Our group received their food quickly and almost at the same time. Gladly again.

Das ist ja mal eine urige Dorfkneipe wie sie an vielen Orten auszusterben drohen. Direkt gegenüber des tollen Dorfladen. Das Essen ist lecker und nicht teuer. Wenn man in der Nähe ist, sollte man auf jeden Fall die Chance nutzen hier einen köstliche Mahlzeit zu sich zu nehmen. Leckere Getränke gibt es in reicher Auswahl. Die fußläufig in 5 min. zu erreichende Burg ist Samstag und Sonntag bis 17 Uhr geöffnet und auf jeden Fall eine Besichtigung wert.

Essen ist gut bürgerlich, Service ist gut. Ambiente ist so wie es sich für eine Dorfkneipe gehört. Preise sind günstig für Essen und Getränke.

Gemütliche, urige Gaststätte mit sehr leckerem Pils. Gegessen haben wir die Schnitzel mit Spargel und Sauce Hollandaise. Echt leeeecker und preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Der Wirt und die Bedienung sehr nett und gut drauf. 🥩🍟🍻🍻😉😋😋👌👍

Vereinsheim mit vielen Pokalen und Bildern im Gastraum. Kleine Schnitzelkarte Die waren laut Karte von einem lokalen Metzger und wir fanden sie sehr lecker!

Urige alte Gaststätte mit sehr netter Bedienung. 10 Gerichte auf der Karte und der Wirt setzt sich zu Dir an den Tisch . Der Name sagt alles über das Essen, eben "Hausmann's Kost. Kann ich jedem empfehlen, der auf Schnitzel steht.

Rustikale Kneipe, ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen - im positiven Sinne. Frisches Rheder-Pils, solide deutsche Hausmannskost in anständigen Portionen zu kleinen Preisen. Ludger ist ein sehr netter und liebenswürdiger Wirt. Im Sommer ab Vormittags sonnenbeschienene Bänke vor dem Haus. Immer wieder gern! :-)

Einfach eine gemütliche Dorfkneipe - der Wirt war ein sympathischer Kerl und das Schnitzel mit Pommes einfach lecker. Würde ich in der Gegend wohnen, wäre ich sicher öfters da.

Einzige Gaststätte in Dringenberg. Rustikal. gut für ein Bier während einer Rad oder Fahrradtour. Gut bürgerliches Essen zu fairen Preisen.

Gutbürgerliche Kneipe mit einer überschaubaren Speisekarte . Gerichte wie immer sehr lecker und total ausreichend. Der Wirt ist sehr freundlich und hat immer ein offenes Ohr. Waren jetzt schon des öfteren vor Ort und haben es nie bereut Immer wieder gerne.

Sehr reichhaltiges leckeres Schnitzel mit Beilagen. Dazu ein leckeres Bier und bei der Rechnung glaubst du, er hat sich zu deinen Gunsten versehen. Ist aber nicht, es bleibt so. Und wenn man dann insgesamt auch noch freundlich bedient wird, ist das ein Grund wieder zu kommen. 👍

Sehr freundlicher Wirt, leckeres Essen und lokales Bierangebot. Man bekommt hier alles, was man von einer dörflichen Gaststätte erwartet. Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Die Pommes waren sehr lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jedoch lässt der Rest eher zu wünschen übrig. Das Schnitzel war nicht sehr appetitlich und vom Preis her ungerechtfertigt. 2,5 Sterne, wenn es möglich wäre! Erfüllt seinen eigentlichen Zweck.
