Gaststätte Hafenblick Hahlen in Minden

We stopped at the restaurant for a meal from the adjacent campsite/motorhome site. We received a very warm welcome in a converted old ship. The food was delicious. We'll definitely come back in the summer to sit outside in the beer garden. Klaus and Conny

The food is nothing better than in other places, but the location and the friendliness of the other customers and staff are the reasons why I have returned to this place several times... and I hope to return soon, or perhaps in the summer, the season in which I believe you can best enjoy the beautiful marina where this bar restaurant is located.

Great atmosphere, but..... We ordered a drink, were a little hungry, and wanted to order a children's portion (spaghetti) because the spaghetti was only offered for children. However, I didn't get the portion because I'm not a child.

We stayed at the adjacent RV park and were repeat guests. The seating here is really lovely, with a direct view of the harbor. They serve draft beer and a small menu, all simple dishes. Unfortunately, the pork fillet was overcooked and dry, but otherwise, everything tasted good. The prices are perfectly reasonable. We really enjoyed the beautiful view.

Top-notch food, top-notch service, and a top-notch location. And on Saturdays, the barbecue buffet is fantastic, with direct views of the marina and the Mittelland Canal. Why go anywhere else?

A very classic and rather simple menu. Everything is well prepared. The service is more than friendly and prompt. This wasn't our first time there, and it won't be our last.

A small restaurant next to a campsite and right next to Minden's marina. The view alone, over the marina's boats and the passing ships on the Mittelland Canal, is truly special. A truly special place.

We went last year as well, but there's a new manager now. Very friendly, we felt very welcome both last year and this year. We had a delicious meal at Gaststätte Hafenblick by the harbor. Highly recommended.

A very nice beer garden located by the marina. Delicious large schnitzels and a Bavarian beer to go with them. The service was chaotic but charming. Highly recommended; exactly what you'd expect.

Yesterday, we went to Hafenblick with colleagues for dinner. The staff is friendly, always smiling, and makes guests feel welcome. The food is delicious and home-style. The portions are generous. It's always a bit like a holiday

Currywurst and schnitzel are top-notch. Hacker Pschorr is my favorite beer.

Wonderful beer garden at a marina. Even on a sunny Sunday afternoon I didn't have to wait long for a free table, extremely friendly service. I can't say much about the food on offer, but the other reviews and the neighboring tables seem to confirm the good impression. Then why not 5 stars? No card payment is possible, and there is no (clearly visible) indication of this. That's a bit of a shame and not unimportant for first-time visitors. I will still come back on the next bike tour

Everything is great with the new tenant too!!!

This restaurant is a ship on dry land with a view of the harbor. The food is just good. Small but fine menu with traditional dishes. You can also watch it online in advance. The service is good even when it's busy. There is still the well-known “beer mat” there. The toilets are in another building but are very clean. Also suitable for wheelchair users. It was definitely not the last time I was there. Note: The operator has now changed, but everything remains in the usual tradition. Was there yesterday with several people. Everyone was very satisfied. We'll be back. Thank you for a really nice evening. Greetings again to the kitchen fairy, who waited for us until our group was complete.

Cool location. A truly unique piece. You can sit there in a friendly atmosphere with boaters and locals. Food good, prices pleasantly moderate, staff is quick and friendly. And that with the harbor ambience. Perfect.👍

Nice restaurants for cyclists and hikers. Unfortunately there is probably a change in the harbor master and tenant. Waited over an hour for our food and then canceled it. The old one wasn't in order either and despite the complaint it wasn't replaced. Unfortunately no longer recommended at the moment.

Have booked a table! but didn't get any because the staff had no idea about anything

The port has been our destination for many years. The location is very nice. Even though we are traveling without children, the beautiful little playground that matches the ambience catches the eye. The staff is very friendly & active AND!!! There is still proper service there. Since it was very busy during our last stay, we unfortunately only found seats inside... the boss would have to take a seat with an "open view"... It's really nice to sit outside. We hope the kitchen crew maintains the usual good standard... and forgive the "slip-up", fried potatoes, well... there were a few brown spots that were soft and the plaice was cooked, but also soft and wobbly. Yes, I ate it, I was just hungry after a long day at work & more than an hour of waiting...

We have been there several times because we were at the campsite with our motorhome. Recently, tables are no longer reserved for two people. This works for 3 people. The boss's statement. It's a beer garden. Apparently he doesn't need it. So for us it's no longer a matter of luck.

It's really nice at Hahler Hafen, you can sit in the beer garden, watch ships and have a drink. But that was about it! The boss/harbour master is so snippy towards the paying customers, an absolute no-go. I don't really want to talk about the food! The schnitzel I had was probably from the day before and warmed in the microwave. The sauce from the Knorreimer and then for an impressive €18.5! Conclusion: it's ok to have a drink. I would eat somewhere else. Only cash payment possible these days.

Negative service culture in its purest form. 5:55 p.m. (!) Notice that the table is reserved from 7 p.m. After discussion, which I find terrible, it went. After I was only supposed to pay in cash (a rogue who thinks bad things) I quickly left the restaurant. WOW, what an experience.

Ein kleiner Imbiss mit guter Speisekarte direkt am Hahler Hafen in Minden. Bei gutem Wetter sitzt man draußen auf einfacher Biergartenbestuhlung. Es gibt aber Sitzkissen. Wir waren als Camper auf dem daneben liegenden Campingplatz und können von dem Lokal nur Gutes berichten. Das Essen ist für ein Imbisslokal gut. Salate, Backkartoffel und Bratkartoffeln hausgemacht. Das Fleisch für den Schaschlik, den wir hatten, selbst mariniert. Und sehr lecker. Im Sommer samstags Barbecue mit Reservierung. Nur zu empfehlen. Freundliche Bedienung.

Right on the marina, just great. Service stars only for the boss. Staff seemed overwhelmed and listless at work. Great as a stopover for a bike tour, and absolutely dog-friendly, which is why I'm happy to give it a 4* rating.

What can I say: We had 2 wonderful afternoons/evenings here. The ambience is of course great, but especially the service... You rarely see something like that these days. Friendly, attentive and always ready for a quick chat. We will definitely come back when we are in Minden again.

I didn't even know that Hahler Harbor was so big. The stay there was very nice. It definitely wasn't the last time there.

Yesterday we went with a group of 8 people to eat and drink at the Hafenblick restaurant in Hahlen. The staff was super nice and extremely accommodating. The various dishes and drinks were all perfectly fine and very tasty. All 8 dishes were presented at the same time. We would like to thank you again, especially for sampling the Dutch meatballs. We will definitely order these on one of our next visits. Please keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.

It was okay, the atmosphere is just great

A nice place right at Hahler Hafen. Good food and very friendly, courteous staff. A small playground for younger guests is also within sight. We always enjoy coming here.👍👍👍

We visited the restaurant three times in total. In terms of location, the restaurant is located directly on the Mittelland Canal, at the harbor. We stopped here after a bike ride. The demands were not particularly high, but they could not be met. It started right at the beginning when I asked the waitress to give us a fourth seat cushion for the fourth chair. Friedemann Schulz von Thun would probably have raised the alarm straight away. The criminologist would have criticized the “modus operandi” of the answer. I was informed that there was a chest at the other end of the restaurant from which I could get a seat cushion. I understand something different by service, but since I'm not a slave driver and may have misunderstood the information, I gritted my teeth and went to the place mentioned. When I arrived I saw a plastic chest, next to it another chest-like object hidden under a tarpaulin. To my delight, I opened the chest and saw it completely empty, so I decided to go to the “restaurant”. I entered it and a friendly person immediately recognized my questioning look and asked: “How can I help?” I expressed that I needed a seat cushion and there wasn't one in the chest. The man then came with me, and as I was leaving, another employee said loudly that I had to open the box too and laughed. My mood reached its lowest point at this point. There were a number of answers on the tip of my tongue for a low-level conversation. However, considering the order of 3 fries, three spritzers and a non-alcoholic wheat, I left it at that. On site the man told me that the box was empty…..”oh honestly, I thought to myself”…he referred to the second covered box. He took the tarp from the chest and said there are more seat cushions here. I reached into the chest and took out a pillow. Back at my seat I saw that the pillow was full of mold and of the particularly beautiful kind, with a black dot in the middle and a white ring around it. Moderately angry, I went back to the chest, told the waitress as I passed that the seat cushion was moldy, put it next to the chest and took out a new one. On the third try I found one without any “fungus” attachments. I think everyone can imagine that the joy of coming to the restaurant was completely gone after this experience. Back at the table I enjoyed a pleasant conversation with my companion. The drinks arrived promptly and shortly afterwards the fries we ordered. To my ultimate dismay, I discovered that my wheat was uncarbonated. Visibly nervous, I expressed my displeasure about it. I called the waitress over and she asked: “If everything was okay.” I replied “no” and that my drink would not be carbonated. The answer I got was that it was alcohol-free. A little irritated, I looked at the person sitting next to me and asked since when an alcohol-free wheat was not carbonated...the waitress looked at me a little puzzled and said that the wheat was poured straight from the bottle and that there was nothing they could do about it. Hot tip for serving the next customer: just put a new one... There was nothing to complain about with the fries. It would also be bad if... I then gathered enough impressions of the Hahl harbor view. I asked for the bill which was 30 euros for 3 fries and 4 drinks, One of which had no carbonation and was not served and was a richer experience. The entire process and the behavior of the protagonists were decisive for my review of this Greek drama. I won't be going back there and I secretly wish I had donated the 30 euros to the Minden animal shelter for this experience.

Very nice restaurant. Boss and staff very friendly. We ate there on 2 days, there was a lot and it tasted great. We can highly recommend it.

The marina's berths are also managed/allocated here. Beautiful, threshold-free harbor, inexpensive, very well-kept and modern sanitary facilities. You can stash drinks and food with a handcart at the discount store within walking distance. The beer garden is brilliant: with a view of your own boat.

Wenn wir auf dem MLK unterwegs sind, ist ein Besuch von uns Pflicht, im Yachthafen bei Herrn Friedrichs ne Pause einzulegen. Er hat für meine Titanic immer ein Plätzchen frei und es ist alles immer sehr lecker und sauber...

Beim ersten Mal war kein Tisch frei, beim zweiten Mal wollten wir mit der Enkelin nur ein Eis auf die Hand. Das gab es dort auch nicht.

Sehr netter Platz mit schöner Aussicht auf den kleinen Jachthafen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, der Umgang locker. Viele Freizeitkapitäne legen hier zum "Essenfassen" an. Der nahgelegenen Campingplatz sorgt für regen Verkehr.

Hier kann man gemütlich essen und trinken und auf die Schiffe im Hafen schauen, absolut empfehlenswert und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schöner Biergarten. Bedienung sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Preisleistung passt. Reservierung hat super geklappt. Grill Personal sehr aufmerksam. Auch für größere Gruppen gut geeignet. 👍

Alles in Ordnung, außer zu wenig Parkplätze und man sollte den Tisch am besten vorher reservieren sonst gibts es keinen Platz!

Einer meiner Lieblingsplätze! 🤩 Hier bei einem guten Glas Bier oder Wein zu sitzen, dabei eine der einfachen aber köstlichen Leckereien von der Karte zu genießen, und den Blick über die Boote im Hafen wandern zu lassen ist für mich jedesmal wie ein Kurzurlaub. Allein für die Bratkartoffeln könnte ich töten! (Bitte NICHT wörtlich nehmen!) 🫣 Es gibt allerdings einen Kritikpunkt, der die volle Punktzahl beim Service kostet: Leider ist noch immer keine Kartenzahlung möglich. In meinen Augen ein „no go“ in der Gastronomie. Das Thema wurde angesprochen, ist aber eine bewusste Entscheidung des Gastronomen. Schade. 🫠 Alles in allem aber ein toller Geheimtipp, der sooo geheim gar nicht mehr ist… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Schöne Lokation. Man bekommt ein wenig Urlaubsgefühle. Das Essen ist eher einfach. Meins war leider nur lauwarm. Bei den Anderen war alles in Ordnung. Preise sind angemessen und alle waren super freundlich. Es war ein schöner Abend. Man sollte eher reservieren.

Versteckt am Kanal liegt diese frei zugängliche Gaststätte. Bei schönen Wetter sitzt man draußen im Biergarten und genießt ein gut gekühltes Andechser Bier oder lässt sich von der Karte inspirieren. Beeindruckend ist das BBQ für knapp 20 Euro pro Person. Am besten mit dem Fahrrad entlang des Kanal anreisen.

gut bürgerliche Küche. Essen war lecker, Betreiber sind nett. Kommt allerdings nicht über eine Pommesbude aus dem Pott heraus. Trotzdem, weiter so!

war eigentlich immer unser Anlaufplatz bei schönem Wetter und nach einer Radtour. Leider hat hier der Besitzer gewechselt. Das Berliner Unikum fehlt dieser Hafen-Gaststätte auf ganzer Ebene. Nicht nur Corona hat hier die Stimmung geändert. Mittlerweile gilt hier die 2G Regelung - wenn man dann sein Handy auf dem Radtrip vergessen hat und natürlich auch keinen Impfpass dabei hat - wird man nicht bedient. na ja waren ja auch mal ganze 2 Tische belegt ... Schade, aber wir überlegen uns eine andere Einkehrmöglichkeit. Wobei - es gibt auch nette Bedienungen aus alten Zeiten noch dort ...

Das Lokal "Hafenblick" hat einen schönen Biergarten mit Blick auf den kleinen Yachthafen. Auf der Speisekarte findet man verschiedene Kleinigkeiten und auch komplette Gerichte. Das was wir gegessen haben war in Ordnung. Wer Sterneküche erwartet ist dort natürlich falsch.

Wir fühlen uns im Hafen immer sehr wohl. Die Bedienung war bisher immer aufmerksam und freundlich. Man sitzt direkt am Yachthafen mit Blick auf kleine und große Boote. Bei gutem Wetter gibt es im weiteren Umkreis kaum einen schöneren Platz. Verschiedene Biere und kleine Gerichte. Besonders die frischen Schnitzel sind sehr gut.

Ich wollte nach ein Radtour dort was Essen gehen bin in das Lokal gegen und setzte mich die Kellnerin kam auch und fragte mich was ich trinken möchte ich wollte einen Rotwein dann die was ich Essen möchte ich habe ihr gesagt das ich das nicht weiß da ich noch keine Speisekarte habe da würde mir dann in einen Überheblich Ton gesagt kann sein das sie schon mal hier waren ( dann muss ich die Karte auswendig kenn?) ich habe die Karte bekommen und den Wein durfte dann 20 min sitzen und habe in der Zeit den Wein ausgetrunken in der Zeit wurde auch keine Bestellung fürs Essen auf genommen ich bin das rein zum bezahlt und siehe da die Kellnerinen und die Chefin haben am Tisch gesehen und mit dem Handy rum gespielt
