Beautifully located opposite the animal enclosure and by ponds and gardens. You can sit inside or outside. Good, home-style food with a fairly large selection (more than ten main courses). Friendly staff, fast service. And today, on a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty much the only restaurant open within a 20-kilometer radius. Parking is available in the courtyard.

Opening hours are very unreliable. This is the second time we've been closed, despite calling ahead and checking the internet. After all, we had a two-hour drive! This was definitely our last attempt!

The food is very good and the service is friendly. The ambience is somewhat reminiscent of times gone by... You should have a reservation for Sunday lunch.

Hospitality is a foreign word, yes, it works at a lower garden restaurant level, but as a figurehead for the region it is very sad. Despite the beautiful Easter weather, we left Dannen depressed, with a hand ice cream that was more forced than warm. We certainly won't be coming back.

The visit was very worth it, a chic restaurant with very nice staff. Everything was very neat and well maintained. The food was incredibly good! For that alone I would go there again in a heartbeat :)

They advertise that the food is always warm. If you as a guest want something warm to eat at 2:30 p.m., then everything is over. When asked about this, the boss puffs out her cheeks and leaves. Never again.

About the ambience: If horns and stuffed birds on the wall don't bother you, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, most of the chairs have been very worn out for over a year. To eat: Large selection of main courses, all very tasty. It's good German home cooking and you can't go wrong here. Service: It is served by two older women who are not specialists but are happy to do it.

We've been coming to Strawberry regularly on Sundays for many years 🍓 It may seem inconspicuous from the outside, but the selection of dishes is diverse and everyone will find what they're looking for here. But I prefer to eat the roulade and, for dessert, a Sweet Harmony ice cream sundae with delicious eggnog 😁 Always top 👍

Food (Thuringian home cooking) incredibly delicious, always plentiful with lots of sauce! The service is excellent. Always a good place for family gatherings. The atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned but still ok. Nicely located in the forest. -- The roulades and the dumplings with the sauce... a dream!!!

Beautiful, rustically furnished restaurant with delicious food. Unfortunately, there is no barrier-free access for people with walking difficulties, the steps to the entrance are of unequal height and there is a need for action here. Otherwise recommended for a visit.

Very tasty home-style food at fair prices. Especially people who like game dishes will get their money's worth here. The restaurant looks very old, but everything is clean. The adjacent animal enclosure invites you to take a walk after an excellent meal.

At the restaurant you immediately feel like you have been transported back to the GDR era, which we personally always welcome. We were there in the evening and ate schnitzel on four. We enjoyed it very much. I had barely finished eating when I ordered it again on four, with fried potatoes, previously I had with croquettes. The landlady didn't look bad when I ordered again. (grin) I ate everything too + the 2 yeast beers, she probably didn't expect that. I don't think she's ever experienced anything like that HA HA. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area again.

Food was delicious. We had two game dishes. Dumplings and meat very good. The sauce could be a little finer but it was good. Price performance is top. Unfortunately it's too cold in the pub so the food cools down too quickly.

Zeitreise in die DDR. Die Gaststätte liegt in einer Kleingartenanlage von der sie auch zu 99% lebt. Die Wirtin ist zu allen die sie nicht persönlich kennt maximal unfreundlich. In ihren Augen ist der Gast für den Wirt da und die Küche hat sowieso immer zu, egal wann man fragt, außer man ist bekannt, dann geht alles. Das Ambiente ist Volksversammlung der Partei 1975. Graue Raufaser trifft auf alten Zigarrettenmief. Das Essen ebenso. Dünne Scheiben Schweinebraten, als Schuhsohle mit Kloßmasseklößen und Fertigsauce aus dem Eimer. Mhhhm. Schmackofatz. Und das ganze dann "günstig". Man hat harte End 80er Schulspeisungsvibes. Die Terrasse hat nen netten Blick, wenn die Wirtin Lust hat einen dort zu bedienen und man keine Probleme mit lockeren DDR Betonplatten und Asbest hat. Dazu für Behinderte maximal ungeeignet. Kann man in Hildburghausen besser speisen.

Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt aber das Ambiente hat etwas Luft nach oben.

Wir haben auf der schönen Terasse ein sehr sehr leckeres Schnitzel gegessen. Die Bedienung war auf zack und mega freundlich. Die Schnitzel sind die knapp 300km wert, die wir gefahren sind. Vielen lieben Dank für die gute Bewirtung. Alles Gute A.Mayer

Für ein kleines Restaurant an einer Gartenanlage ist der Besuch auf jedenfall keine schlechte Idee. Essen ist gut und reichlich, Preise normal. Service ist Stress und Tages abhängig gut und freundlich.

Schönes Restaurant im Grünen. Man kann draussen und drinnen sitzen. Das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dafür ist das Essen mega lecker und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch. Sehr gerne wieder 😊🙋🏽‍♂️🍀🙂👍
