Authentic, delicious, and welcoming – a true Cologne gem! I was completely thrilled with "Em Hähnche"! The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, just what you'd expect from a traditional Cologne restaurant. The food was fantastic – the chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. The side dishes were also fresh and lovingly prepared. The service was super friendly, attentive, and authentic – you can immediately tell that the food here is prepared with heart and passion. You feel truly welcome as a guest.

As a Swabian, I'd say it's a typical Cologne pub. A very nice owner, from whom we learned a lot, and friendly service. A small menu, but everything is delicious and homemade. The chops were a dream. Reminds me of my childhood :-) Large portions! We'll be happy to come back next time we're in Cologne.

We were attending a training course with Ford in Cologne and were invited to this restaurant! The owners and waitresses gave us a very warm welcome and looked after us! Even special requests were accommodated! You could immediately see how passionate they are about their work! They live and love their work and their guests!
