Gaststätte Arche Noah in Wiesbaden

Tolles Ambiente, auagesprochen guter und freundlicher Service, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ich konnte aufgrund diverser medizinischer Einschränkungen leider nur ein Gericht von der Karte wählen, was mir aber vorher bewusst war. Der Fisch und das Fleisch sowie die Salatteller sahen aber top aus. Ich komme bald wieder, wenn ich mich durch die Karte futtern kann.

Rinderleber wie bei Mutti, köstlich. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Wir konnten draußen sitzen mit herrlichem Blick aufs Wasser. Zum Abschuss eine phantastische Panna Cotta. Lecker.

Waren heute in der Arche Noah essen, sehr leckeres Essen, Steak war sehr gut, mein Mann hatte das Zanderfilet, es hat alles super geschmeckt und der nette Kellner bekommt ein extra Bonus von uns, sehr freundlich und Humorvoll, tolles Ambiente am Hafen, wir kommen wieder

Wir hatten nur Kaffee und Kuchen der war aber selbstgemacht und sehr lecker , Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Ambiente vor allem auf der Außenterrasse sehr schön mit Blick auf den Schiersteiner Hafen

Heute dem Tipp gefolgt und die Arche Noah ausprobiert. Zur besten Kaffeezeit eingekehrt, Tisch zugewiesen bekommen und Bestellung abgegeben. Die sehr freundliche Dame brachte uns das Gewünschte schnell. Der Kuchen wie auch die Kaffeespezialitäten waren sehr lecker. Ein Blick in die Speisekarte überzeugt uns zu einem baldigen Wiederkommen zum Abendessen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wie im Urlaub, herrlich, lecker und sehr freundliches Personal

Man sitzt auf der Terrasse am Wasser sehr schön. Wie im Urlaub. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Es wurde Rücksicht auf Kinder genommen. Wir haben min. zwei Hochstühle für Kinder gesehen. Es gibt Kindergerichte, allerdings keines mit etwas Gemüse. Das Essen ist solide.

Ich empfehle das Rumpsteak mit Kräuter Butter

...das war früher schonmal besser

Schnitzel war dunkelbraun, t.w. Fast schwarz am Rand. Die Panade auf der Rückseite ist weg. Für 20€ ist es unmöglich. Direkt am Wasser ist nett, Service auch ok. Aber das Essen! Für so eine Preis. Wenn ich nicht Mega Hunger gehabt hätte, hätte ich es direkt zurück in die Küche gegeben.

Update 2026 Ich bin total enttäuscht. Schnitzel (3 Portionen) waren viel zu dunkel und sehr trocken. Bin kein Experte, aber das waren Industrieschnitzel. Daher ist der Preis absolut nicht gerechtfertigt! Service war aber sehr freundlich. 2020: Adventsessen mit der Familie, Essen war ok, teilweise fehlte bisschen Salz. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ganz großes MINUS: es gibt keine Wickelmöglichkeit für Babies. Unsere Kurze musste im Lokal in einer Ecke auf 2 Stühlen gewickelt werden. Das geht gar nicht !

Lecker Essen,nette Bedienung faire Preise, kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir aßen eine hervorragende Fischplatte und wurden super kompetent und freundlich beraten und bedient. Dazu gehört natürlich ein hervorragender Weißwein. Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich empfehlenswert!

On/In the water, also inside, simply nice

Overpriced. Unfortunately, my pork tenderloin was tough. In summer, sitting outside with a view of the harbor is probably quite nice. I wouldn't order the food again. It's simply too expensive for the service.

That's completely unacceptable. We were assigned a seat with the menu already in hand, and 15 minutes later we were told our spot was reserved. Simply disappointing.

Beautiful location for a restaurant. However, the loin was more like shoe sole, and the €4 surcharge for onions on the liver (which only had a few fried onions) was absolutely not worth the price.

Wonderful place for a family lunch

The Noah's Ark toast [€21] looked good, but the meat was tough and inedible. I tried two pieces and then sent them back. The manager then came over and asked if I wanted something else. I chose the rösti with mushroom sauce, topped with cheese, and salad [€16.50], which was delicious. When I was paying, I had to pay for the toast. I immediately complained, and the waitress said her manager had told me I had to pay for the toast, after all, I had eaten some of it. Absolutely unacceptable. 😡

Very nice location. There's still room for improvement in the friendliness. The price and quality of our order weren't quite on par with all the dishes. Baked Camembert as a starter sounds like a lot. I got a rather dark, crispy, not particularly aromatic, and barely creamy little Camembert with two slices of buttered toast and cranberry jelly. I don't think €12 is particularly adequate. The potato pancakes with a generous side of salmon and some salad – also a starter – are sufficient and tasty. €16.50 is reasonable.

Fantastic restaurant floating on the Rhine. Good food, good atmosphere, good service. You really need to know someone in order to find it. If you're looking for a local experience this is it.

The daily specials board offered calamari with French fries and salad for €16.50. We ordered this dish, but were disappointed by both the quality of the food and the service. When we paid, we were ultimately charged €20.50 for the dish. Unfortunately, the server was unwilling to adjust the price to reflect the daily specials board, simply pointing out that the higher price was stored in the system. There was no concession or discussion. I expect better service and will therefore not visit the restaurant again.

Good food, very friendly service and nice ambience with a view of the water

We were there for the first time (by boat), and I was pleasantly surprised right from the start with an ice-cold (3-4⁰?) wheat beer in the scorching heat. The server was very efficient, quick, and friendly. The food was good and fairly priced. We'd be happy to come back, even though we usually eat/drink coffee on our boat. Looking at other reviews, I find it quite remarkable. Bus drivers complain because they don't get free food, dog owners complain because their yappy dogs aren't allowed in. What's up with that? No, I don't know the owner.

Very good food in a great atmosphere in the harbor, with super friendly service! The fish platter offered today was fantastic, as were the seasonal asparagus dishes. Very family-friendly, with children's dishes that were also very good. We'll definitely be back!

So many 1* reviews because dogs aren't allowed? Are you crazy? Dogs are animals, and animals have no place in a restaurant, no matter their size! Have you ever considered that there are people with allergies, people who are afraid of dogs (even small ones), and again, they are animals, and there's food in the restaurant. I think animals should be kept outside, any kind of animal. I've never been here, but simply to counter the 1* reviews, I'm giving it a 5*.

The view of the bay is, of course, magnificent. The service is also particularly friendly. My friend couldn't get into the restaurant with her crutches due to health reasons. We were still given cake and coffee, along with a plate and fork, so we could sit on a bench in front of the restaurant. Not everyone does that.

No. We were there with a tour group. Despite pre-ordering the dishes, there was a long wait. Prices shown were not honored. Card payment declined. Meals were not free for bus drivers. Not recommended for out-of-town groups.

A truly beautiful location, but unfortunately, the food was almost inedible. I found the quality of the food rather subpar; the salmon was bone dry, and the turkey schnitzel came with an unappetizing brown sauce. A real shame, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The food is okay, but nothing special. The atmosphere is wonderful when you sit outside on the terrace in nice weather and have a view of the harbor. But it's €3 extra if you want fried potatoes instead of fries, for example! Everyone can decide for themselves how they feel about that.

We have enjoyed eating there for years. Always with our dogs, who were never noticeable there. Today we wanted to enjoy the good food again, but there are lots of stickers on the door indicating that dogs are no longer welcome. Well, we don't go out to eat without our dog, it's a shame, but we're welcome with our dog elsewhere too.

This evening we went to the ark again and (as always) ate the delicious rump steak, followed by liver dumpling soup Absolutely delicious like four years ago!!! Unfortunately I can only go there sporadically as I no longer live in Wiesbaden Schierstein. We can highly recommend the restaurant

Formerly beautiful, floating restaurant in the harbor basin with a great ambience and simple, classic cuisine. 4* worth. However, there are now “no more parking options” on Hafenstrasse, which makes accessibility very difficult for people with reduced mobility. !! And now completely “NEW” dogs have been banned since March '25. I didn't believe it when we made a reservation the other day and then couldn't get in with our toy poodle. !! Maybe the ark will survive.

Great food, great waiters, fair prices! I really enjoy going here and recommend it to my friends. We come here often as a family and whether inside or outside, you have a beautiful view of the harbor. There are even boat docks and, if desired, food can be served directly on the boat. Straight five stars!

The ambiance of this restaurant is truly dreamy – you feel like you're on vacation! The terrace is especially inviting, and when the sun is shining, it's simply beautiful to sit there. Unfortunately, this great ambiance is overshadowed by the poor service. I've been here twice, and each time I was offered a table right by the entrance, even though there were numerous other seats available. Upon request, I was allowed to sit somewhere else – so it didn't seem as if those tables were reserved. Unfortunately, that doesn't leave a good impression. I can't comment on the food, as I was only there for coffee and cake. I thought the cake was okay, but the coffee was the worst I've ever had – I couldn't even finish it. When the waitress noticed this and asked if I didn't like it, she apologized but didn't offer an alternative. All in all, I would only recommend the restaurant with reservations – especially for people who don't drink coffee and don't place much value on good service.

We have been eating there for 25 years. Today we were refused entry with a dog. Reason...some guests don't have their dogs under control and the boss has issued a general ban on dogs. Our dogs are trained and lie well under the table. We definitely won't eat there again.

I have been going to this restaurant for 15 years with both my previous dog and, for the last 5 years, my Chihuahua mix. Last Sunday we ordered a table there by phone and got there on time. We were greeted in an extremely rude manner with: "But not with the dog. He stays outside." When I said that we had always come with a dog for years, there was no response. The waiter who was often responsible for us, very nice by the way, tried to smooth things over. But dogs are suddenly no longer welcome. Our dog lies under my chair and has never barked. People can have different opinions here, but I have never been treated so rudely and in such an unfriendly tone in any restaurant. It's the last time I've set foot in it, and all the groups I'm in will no longer be able to take place there either if they value me. It's a shame and very disappointing.

Very nice location with great service. The meal will most likely use a lot of ready-made components. Fish is definitely frozen from the deep fryer. That's a bit of a shame. If more fresh products were used it would be a top rating.

The cappuccino was from the coffee machine, but when asked, it was confirmed that it was made with instant powder. Unfortunately, that's just how it tastes. The view of the water from the window is great.

It's obvious that the cooking here takes place with great attention to detail and a passion for good food. Drinks: The drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired. From refreshing non-alcoholic creations to selected wines - everything is carefully coordinated. The waiter's recommendations matched the chosen dishes perfectly. Operation: The service was exemplary. Friendly, attentive and accommodating – the entire team managed to create a pleasant atmosphere in which guests feel welcome and valued. Food is not overwhelming, but decent German home cooking. Everything is within reasonable price. You can also go unannounced at short notice at lunchtime.

It's wonderful to sit on the water in the harbor with a delicious meal outdoors and watch the yachts come in and out or the ducks and cormorants. Total relaxation comes very quickly - holiday moments on the outskirts of the state capital on the Rhine. And the food is delicious and the portions are generous. The staff quick and attentive. We were there on a Saturday around lunchtime and easily got a seat on the terrace. However, given the location, you should definitely think about making a reservation so as not to be disappointed.
