Fantastic restaurant floating on the Rhine. Good food, good atmosphere, good service. You really need to know someone in order to find it. If you're looking for a local experience this is it.

The daily specials board offered calamari with French fries and salad for €16.50. We ordered this dish, but were disappointed by both the quality of the food and the service. When we paid, we were ultimately charged €20.50 for the dish. Unfortunately, the server was unwilling to adjust the price to reflect the daily specials board, simply pointing out that the higher price was stored in the system. There was no concession or discussion. I expect better service and will therefore not visit the restaurant again.

Professionally run, delicious food and fruity wine, great service. And a beautiful view that immediately conjures up a holiday feeling. We'd love to come back 🤩

We were there for the first time (by boat), and I was pleasantly surprised right from the start with an ice-cold (3-4⁰?) wheat beer in the scorching heat. The server was very efficient, quick, and friendly. The food was good and fairly priced. We'd be happy to come back, even though we usually eat/drink coffee on our boat. Looking at other reviews, I find it quite remarkable. Bus drivers complain because they don't get free food, dog owners complain because their yappy dogs aren't allowed in. What's up with that? No, I don't know the owner.

Very good food in a great atmosphere in the harbor, with super friendly service! The fish platter offered today was fantastic, as were the seasonal asparagus dishes. Very family-friendly, with children's dishes that were also very good. We'll definitely be back!

So many 1* reviews because dogs aren't allowed? Are you crazy? Dogs are animals, and animals have no place in a restaurant, no matter their size! Have you ever considered that there are people with allergies, people who are afraid of dogs (even small ones), and again, they are animals, and there's food in the restaurant. I think animals should be kept outside, any kind of animal. I've never been here, but simply to counter the 1* reviews, I'm giving it a 5*.

The view of the bay is, of course, magnificent. The service is also particularly friendly. My friend couldn't get into the restaurant with her crutches due to health reasons. We were still given cake and coffee, along with a plate and fork, so we could sit on a bench in front of the restaurant. Not everyone does that.

No. We were there with a tour group. Despite pre-ordering the dishes, there was a long wait. Prices shown were not honored. Card payment declined. Meals were not free for bus drivers. Not recommended for out-of-town groups.

A truly beautiful location, but unfortunately, the food was almost inedible. I found the quality of the food rather subpar; the salmon was bone dry, and the turkey schnitzel came with an unappetizing brown sauce. A real shame, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The food is okay, but nothing special. The atmosphere is wonderful when you sit outside on the terrace in nice weather and have a view of the harbor. But it's €3 extra if you want fried potatoes instead of fries, for example! Everyone can decide for themselves how they feel about that.

We have enjoyed eating there for years. Always with our dogs, who were never noticeable there. Today we wanted to enjoy the good food again, but there are lots of stickers on the door indicating that dogs are no longer welcome. Well, we don't go out to eat without our dog, it's a shame, but we're welcome with our dog elsewhere too.

This evening we went to the ark again and (as always) ate the delicious rump steak, followed by liver dumpling soup Absolutely delicious like four years ago!!! Unfortunately I can only go there sporadically as I no longer live in Wiesbaden Schierstein. We can highly recommend the restaurant

Formerly beautiful, floating restaurant in the harbor basin with a great ambience and simple, classic cuisine. 4* worth. However, there are now “no more parking options” on Hafenstrasse, which makes accessibility very difficult for people with reduced mobility. !! And now completely “NEW” dogs have been banned since March '25. I didn't believe it when we made a reservation the other day and then couldn't get in with our toy poodle. !! Maybe the ark will survive.

Great food, great waiters, fair prices! I really enjoy going here and recommend it to my friends. We come here often as a family and whether inside or outside, you have a beautiful view of the harbor. There are even boat docks and, if desired, food can be served directly on the boat. Straight five stars!

The ambiance of this restaurant is truly dreamy – you feel like you're on vacation! The terrace is especially inviting, and when the sun is shining, it's simply beautiful to sit there. Unfortunately, this great ambiance is overshadowed by the poor service. I've been here twice, and each time I was offered a table right by the entrance, even though there were numerous other seats available. Upon request, I was allowed to sit somewhere else – so it didn't seem as if those tables were reserved. Unfortunately, that doesn't leave a good impression. I can't comment on the food, as I was only there for coffee and cake. I thought the cake was okay, but the coffee was the worst I've ever had – I couldn't even finish it. When the waitress noticed this and asked if I didn't like it, she apologized but didn't offer an alternative. All in all, I would only recommend the restaurant with reservations – especially for people who don't drink coffee and don't place much value on good service.

We have been eating there for 25 years. Today we were refused entry with a dog. Reason...some guests don't have their dogs under control and the boss has issued a general ban on dogs. Our dogs are trained and lie well under the table. We definitely won't eat there again.

I have been going to this restaurant for 15 years with both my previous dog and, for the last 5 years, my Chihuahua mix. Last Sunday we ordered a table there by phone and got there on time. We were greeted in an extremely rude manner with: "But not with the dog. He stays outside." When I said that we had always come with a dog for years, there was no response. The waiter who was often responsible for us, very nice by the way, tried to smooth things over. But dogs are suddenly no longer welcome. Our dog lies under my chair and has never barked. People can have different opinions here, but I have never been treated so rudely and in such an unfriendly tone in any restaurant. It's the last time I've set foot in it, and all the groups I'm in will no longer be able to take place there either if they value me. It's a shame and very disappointing.

Very nice location with great service. The meal will most likely use a lot of ready-made components. Fish is definitely frozen from the deep fryer. That's a bit of a shame. If more fresh products were used it would be a top rating.

The cappuccino was from the coffee machine, but when asked, it was confirmed that it was made with instant powder. Unfortunately, that's just how it tastes. The view of the water from the window is great.

Restaurant review: Arche Noah Schierstein I recently had the opportunity to visit the Arche Noah Schierstein restaurant and I have to say it was an all-round outstanding experience! Eat: The quality of the food is absolutely impressive. Fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned dishes and an attractive presentation made every dish a pleasure. I would particularly like to highlight [mention a special dish here if desired] which was absolutely delicious. It's obvious that the cooking here takes place with great attention to detail and a passion for good food. Drinks: The drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired. From refreshing non-alcoholic creations to selected wines - everything is carefully coordinated. The waiter's recommendations matched the chosen dishes perfectly. Operation: The service was exemplary. Friendly, attentive and accommodating – the entire team managed to create a pleasant atmosphere in which guests feel welcome and valued. The advice on the dishes was competent and showed a deep knowledge of the menu. Ambiance: The location of the restaurant right on the water is fantastic and creates a very special flair. The cozy, maritime furnishings round off the experience perfectly. All in all, Arche Noah Schierstein is a restaurant you should definitely visit if you value great food, excellent service and beautiful surroundings. Food is not overwhelming, but decent German home cooking. Everything is within reasonable price. You can also go unannounced at short notice at lunchtime.

While other restaurants take a lunch break, Noah's Ark serves hot food all the time. Very commendable. Well-kept atmosphere, friendly service and schnitzel and rump steak were also delicious. We'll definitely come back.

It's wonderful to sit on the water in the harbor with a delicious meal outdoors and watch the yachts come in and out or the ducks and cormorants. Total relaxation comes very quickly - holiday moments on the outskirts of the state capital on the Rhine. And the food is delicious and the portions are generous. The staff quick and attentive. We were there on a Saturday around lunchtime and easily got a seat on the terrace. However, given the location, you should definitely think about making a reservation so as not to be disappointed.

The only floating restaurant in the Schierstein harbor in Wiesbaden. On the terrace with a view of the Rhine you feel like you are on vacation. Service very friendly and accommodating. The food is varied and good, from fish to steak to vegetarian. Make sure you make a reservation, it's not in vain for nothing.

Hervorzuheben ist die Lage am Schiersteiner Hafen in Wiesbaden die man final mitbezahlt. Es gibt ein ausgewogenes Angebot an Getränken und Speisen und man sitzt in erster Lage am Hafen im Außenbereich. Der Service hat Optimierungsbedarf, die Wartezeiten sind teilweise suboptimal was bei den Preisen nicht seien sollte. Publikum überwiegend ‚älteres Semester‘. Kartenzahlung ab 20,- Euro möglich.

The food was really bad. Our schnitzels came out of the deep fryer, when the lady came we said we weren't happy, then she claimed they were fresh schnitzels from the pan, never in our life. For almost €20, these were the worst schnitzel, never again.

Walked in at quiet time, service was quick and they checked in after 5 minutes. Fishplatter was delicious with large amout of salmon and local fish.

Standard German cuisine. Nothing special but nothing wrong. But the location is very nice.

Our tour took us on Sunday with a friend and his sports boat across the Rhine to Schierstein harbor. There we docked the boat directly at the Arche Noah restaurant. Even without a reservation we found a place outside. After ordering, we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. All dishes met our approval, both in terms of taste and price/performance. Despite later rain, it was a beautiful Sunday.

It was delicious, very comfortable on the beautifully developed and well-maintained houseboat and with a beautiful view of the marina.

Had a minced steak with mushroom sauce and mixed salad...large portion and was very tasty!!

Wir sind jahrelange Gäste, waren bisher immer sehr zufrieden. Heute an Pfingstsonntag 2024 wurden wir von einer neuen Bedienung bedient, die nicht auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen ist. Es sei nicht möglich, eine andere Beilage zum Hauptgericht zu bekommen und dass diese Vorschriften schon länger besteht. Es wurde uns bisher immer einen solchen Wunsch erfüllt. Diese Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich und unehrlich zu uns. Wir werden das Restaurant Arche Noah nicht mehr betreten. E. K.

When you, as a solo traveler, are seated at the cat table that hasn't been wiped down in weeks, and the food is cheap, warmed-up Metro stuff, with absolutely no freshness, you have an idea why the catering industry sometimes has such a bad reputation.

Das Jägerschnitzel war leider mit einer Maggi Soße überzogen und war noch ein paar Minuten pampig. Bratkartoffeln waren fade und der Espresso sehr sehr bitter und verbrannt. Das Ambiente war in Ordnung nette Bedienung. Ich habe mir wohl das falsche Gericht ausgesucht weil die Fischplatten die ich gesehen haben sehr lecker ausgesehen, deshalb zwei Punkte statt einem

My mother and I ordered an ice cream cafe here. We received coffee with ice crystals. We received an answer to our complaint: That's the case with iced coffee and it costs 6.80. I've never received anything like this before. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first negative experience here, so we won't be returning here again.

A table for 9 people was ordered for coffee and cake. It was set up for dinner (in the afternoon). The female waiter was neither friendly nor hard-working and, despite notes, she was overwhelmed 8 times with cake and drinks because we had to reorder a coffee. The young, male waitress was at least very friendly. Ultimately, after coffee, we had to make our presence known at some point to get another drink. Good service is different.

So really. Please. Don't waste your time! No need to upload a photo either. Great location. Nothing, zero, zero, nothing at all behind it. This would like restaurant is a completely wasted opportunity.

Staff is friendly and reasonably quick. Food is edible, but nothing great. Mark dumpling soup is good, although the dumplings are relatively convenient. Schnitzel quite dry and thin. The biggest advantage: open all day 😺
