Gaststätte Am Georgengarten in Dessau-Roßlau

Nach unserem Besuch der Meisterhäuser des Bauhauses sind wir hier eingekehrt, um wieder einmal gute deutsche Küche genießen zu dürfen. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und war sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Ambiente vermittelte einem das Flair einer wirklich modernen Gaststätte. Hier lassen wir eine klare Empfehlung da und kommen gern wieder!

Wir waren zu einer Familienfeier mit 20 Personen zum Kaffeetrinken und Abendessen im Restaurant. Der Kaffee ist sehr gut und der Kuchen perfekt, wie vom Konditor. Das Abendessen war ein Tischbuffet. Zuerst eine sehr gute Konsommé als Vorspeise. Danach als Hauptgang; Edelgemüse, mehrere Sorten Fleisch und eine kräftige Fleischsauce mit Kartoffel Variationen. Alles war hochwertig und schmackhaft. Ein Dessert haben wir nicht probiert. Das Personal ist professionell und sehr freundlich. Wir konnten sowohl den Gastraum mit dem festlich gedeckten Tisch als auch die Außenanlage nutzen. Vielen Dank an das Restaurant am Georgium, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben am 26.6. dort den 90. Geburtstag gefeiert. Es war alles einfach nur super. Vom Kuchen angefangen, bis hin zum Abendessen hat alles sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Alle Gäste waren begeistert. Trotz der Hitze an diesem Tag, war das Servicepersonal sehr schnell und immer Mega freundlich. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für die unvergesslichen Feier.

Schöne Ortschaft, aber das Essen nicht frisch zubereitet.Der Teller ist heißer als das Essen, alles in der Mikrowelle heiß gemacht. Schade um das schöne Essen.

Schönes Restaurant, sehr freundliches Personal. Essen sehr schnell geliefert. Geschmack gut, passt leider nicht ganz zum Preis.

Solide gemachtes Schnitzel, hätte mehr souffliert sein können. Gute Bratkartoffeln und endlich mal frische Pilze, die über gebratene Champignons hinaus gehen. Großes Plus: vorgewärmte Teller und der Preis

Absolute Empfehlung!!! Ein Restaurant, das wirklich in allen Punkten überzeugt. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll, gemütlich und mit einer wunderschönen Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlen kann. Das Essen war einfach großartig – ein Genuss für den Gaumen! Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Liebe, Qualität und Können gearbeitet wird. Jeder Gang war geschmacklich auf den Punkt und wunderschön angerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch das herzliche Personal: aufmerksam, freundlich und mit echter Freude bei der Arbeit. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wertgeschätzt. Dafür ein ganz großes Dankeschön! Ein rundum perfekter Besuch – besser geht’s nicht. Dazu befindet sich das Restaurant am Georgengarten, direkt an dem gleichnamigen Park inklusive dem Schloss, dass zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe gehört. Das lädt gleich im Anschluss zu einem wunderschönen Spaziergang ein.

Das Lokal ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Tische ordentlich gedeckt, die Bedienung aufmerksam. Der Fischteller war sehr lecker und hübsch angerichtet, der Fisch selbst hätte neben dem Dill auch etwas herbere grüne Kräuter vertragen, aber der Meerrettich hat das wettgemacht 🙂. Ein Tipp: Für's warme Abendessen sollte man nicht später als 19 Uhr kommen, um die Küche nicht in Zeitdruck zu bringen.

Trotz vollem Haus (auch dies spricht für das Restaurant) überaus freundliche Bedienung, sehr gute und schmackhafte Speisen. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

Ein tolles Restaurant. Leckeres Essen, super Service. Werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Nach dem Essen kann man noch einen schönen Spaziergang machen und eventuell gleich den Tierpark besuchen.

Essen ist nicht die Meisterküche und wenig gewürzt. Insgesamt, aber noch in Ordnung. Zudem ist die Bedienung etwas sehr durcheinander und wirkt total unkoordiniert. Dafür hat der Laden aber saftige Preise. Kann man machen, aber muss man nicht.

Gemütliche Gaststätte mit tollem Essen und freundlichem Service.

Wir kamen Sonntags zur Kaffeezeit und bei bestem Wetter dort vorbei. Draußen waren einige Tische frei. Ein Platz in der Sonne war schnell gefunden. Kurz darauf wurden wir von der Bedienung abgewiesen. Man sei drinnen voll und sie dürfe draußen nicht mehr bedienen! Die Gäste an den anderen Tischen hatten vorher alle noch was bekommen! Ich denke, ein Kaffee wäre schon möglich gewesen, aber man hat es offensichtlich nicht nötig! In Zukunft wissen wir, dass man dort nicht halt machen muss!

Das Essen war super hergerichtet, echt schön fürs Auge, nur leider überhaupt nicht abgeschmeckt und man musste nachwürzen. Die Bedienung wirkte etwas verwirrt, war aber sehr höflich. Es gibt andere tolle Restaurants.

Wir waren nun bereits zum zweiten Mal in der Gaststätte am Georgengarten, zuletzt am 01. Januar, und erneut sehr zufrieden. Die Gaststätte überzeugt mit einer angenehmen Atmosphäre und einem gepflegten, einladenden Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig zubereitet. Geschmacklich gab es nichts zu beanstanden, man merkt, dass hier Wert auf gute Zutaten und eine sorgfältige Zubereitung gelegt wird. Preislich bewegen sich die Gerichte eher in der gehobenen Kategorie, was jedoch durch die Qualität der Speisen und das Gesamtangebot gut gerechtfertigt ist. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Gaststätte, in die wir gerne wiederkommen.

Dieses mal nur zum Kaffeetrinken dort gewesen und nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Kuchenstücke und die anschließenden Eisbecher haben sehr gut geschmeckt und die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Wir haben hier ausgezeichnet gegessen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Die Torten sind der Hammer. Ich kann auf jeden Fall die Käsetorte mit Rosinen empfehlen.

Personal war sehr nett,aber der Apfelkuchen richtig alt. Die Äpfel hatten ihre Schale noch dran...sehr ungewöhnlich. Der Rand hart und trocken. Ich hatte auch noch nachgefragt, ob der Kuchen frisch sei...ja, wäre er. So schnell sind wir dort nicht wieder zum Kaffee...eigentlich schade.

The restaurant is very basic, not modern, and doesn't offer much in the way of amenities. If you're seated behind the counter, you should expect to leave your table so the staff can come to their changing room. The food is served piping hot, but very quickly and lightly seasoned; I don't think the price they charge is justified. The staff, however, are friendly, polite, and accommodating.

I found the price-performance ratio absolutely outrageous. 1. 70 people in a small room, everything very cramped. For €94.00, there was no seat reservation. 2. It was a completely ordinary room, no decorations. 3. The "great" technology consisted of a small projector. 4. There were two actors, simple dialogue; it was a funny comedy, not a Brühl comedy. 5. The food was not a highlight. a. Potato soup: a matter of taste. b. A ​​small goose leg, some red cabbage, two small dumplings—basic frozen food spruced up with a bit of gravy. c. Dessert was simple but okay. Conclusion: At €94 per person, this was an expensive and bad experience; it was worth a maximum of €45.00, if that.

The food and the service are both excellent. In addition, there is no kitchen break so you can have lunch at unfashionable times like 2 or 3 pm - fantastic!

A fantastic restaurant on the edge of the park. It's a bit dated, but the food and service are fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food.

Unfortunately they weren't there.

The food was (for me) significantly too small in portion size, especially considering the price. A large one – I'd go for it if you're not filling up on a €26 main course. The taste was very good, though 👍 Service was good, but could have been a bit more attentive.

We had venison as a starter (marinated venison) and as a main course (venison stew and three different types of venison). The venison in the starter had to be hunted for among the many lettuce leaves, but we did find a few small pieces, but not for €14.50! The main courses all seemed to have the same sauce, and the red cabbage was overcooked. With that, two beers at €5.90 each, totaling €75 for a more than ordinary meal. Not recommended.

When the waiters ignore you completely and only mumble when you ask (because you speak little German or want to understand it), that's a sad sign. But there are so many problems in the restaurant industry. It's a shame! I can't say anything about the food, as we weren't served.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration in this beautiful setting, thanks to the delicious food (from coffee and cake to the lovingly prepared dishes for dinner) and the excellent service. All our requests were promptly fulfilled, and we received very friendly and attentive service. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was very good and the service prompt. The wine list is small but well-selected, with a focus on local wines (Saale Unstrut), but there are also Palatinate wines and others. Thanks to the good weather, we sat outside; it was pleasantly quiet, the view of the park was beautiful, and there was hardly any traffic on the street (looking from the other direction). We'd be happy to go back!

The prices are completely exorbitant. We paid over €20 per person for a vegetarian pasta dish. It was our first and last visit there. Never again!

Before the concert at Georgengarten, we were happy to find a free table. The young woman who took our order seemed a little overwhelmed in the 34-degree heat, but we helped her out. The food itself was one of the worst in years: small, uninspired portions that contained nothing special for a considerable amount of money. I don't recommend this restaurant at all.

I ordered an appetizer (feta in tomato sauce) and only received two very small slices of bread. The appetizer salads came in two sizes, even though we ordered exactly the same salad twice.

We were here with a family of 25 people. The staff was really friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and fresh. We sat outside the restaurant, but the terrace could be nicer. In summary, we really enjoyed ourselves. We'll definitely be back!

We dropped by spontaneously with several dogs, and even though the outdoor area was actually closed, they very kindly secured a table for us without any problems. We received very friendly service and the food was delicious. Thank you for the excellent service! You don't see that very often these days. We'd all love to come back!

The food was very good. I ate here a few years ago and it wasn't as good as it is now. Nice family atmosphere, good traditional German food.

The food is very tasty but I also think it's a bit expensive for standard home cooking. There wasn't enough hollandaise with the asparagus for me. The waitress was rather rude and hardly thanked us for the good tip. I was annoyed afterwards. I also think beer for 5.90 is absolutely too much. Anything over €5 for a beer makes me angry.

Very nice restaurant. We had lunch there and because it was so nice, we also drank coffee after visiting the zoo. Very nice staff. Food was also delicious. I can only recommend it.

Nice out door beer garden close to the park and zoo. Service was good and food was freshly prepared. A little on the pricey side but worth the wait.

We love coming here and always love the food. The staff is always friendly and happy to accommodate any special requests. The only thing that definitely needs to be worked on is the non-alcoholic drinks. Selling the cheapest drinks from a discount store (we saw them at the bar) for this price is not proportionate.

We skipped dessert, but still paid around 60 euros for the two of us. You can do that as an exception. But it won't be our favorite restaurant in Dessau.
