Eyen is simple and straightforward. Not a huge selection on the menu. It was cold in the restaurant, though. Other customers had sat down at their tables wearing coats.

Delicious cuisine in Hamburg's most beautiful sailing club, with the largest harbor facility right on the Outer Alster in the heart of Hamburg! Many people don't know it, but the club's restaurant, "Gurlitt," is always open to members and their friends, except on rest days, regatta days, and specific internal club events. Many a "friend" has been transformed into a repeat customer or even a member, whether through the large panoramic windows overlooking the Alster or the spacious outdoor dining area directly on the Alster, but above all through the fine, frequently changing menu at fair prices... The Gurlitt has thus become a firm insider tip for many a "non-sailor" for a short, culinary-exciting getaway in a maritime atmosphere on the Alster... 😋⛵ During the season, the grill at the jetty is open every Wednesday from around 8:00 PM, as this is when the legendary Kangaroo Regatta comes to an end. Brunch is served at the HSC every first Sunday of the month (Please note: Advance reservations by phone with Gurlitt are required!) The beautiful evening sunsets on the terrace, in the relaxed Gurlitt atmosphere, add a touch of contemplation to any sunny, active day, whether on or by the Outer Alster... 😃

Not customer-oriented, no sense of service, no sense of open communication. You're ignored at the entrance, and when the party is closed, there are no signs or links to the website. So much for first impressions. When customers pointed out these shortcomings, there was no understanding, only excuses.

Simply fantastic! We had an absolutely perfect party at The Gurlitt Restaurant! Delicious BBQ and the best drinks, super-committed service, great preparation, and a fair bill! Plus, glorious summer weather! You couldn't ask for more!

A great location right on the Alster with excellent food. To get to Gurlitt, you have to cross the small Guelitt Bridge and then turn left, past Captain Prüsse's sailing school into the courtyard of the Hamburg Sailing Club… but the few steps are worth it!

The Gurlitt salad is amazing, the wine is damn tasty, the service is perfect and very friendly, and this is a unique place on the Alster. A dream!

A bit hidden away and accordingly quiet, but if you like peace and quiet and delicious food, this is the place for you. 😊 The menu isn't extensive, but what is offered is incredibly delicious and definitely worth the price. A real insider tip for Hamburg.

Very good food, service was occasionally overwhelmed but still good, the ambiance was very chic, a bit cramped outside but with a view of the Alster. Unfortunately, there's no running water in the restrooms; the restaurant can't help it, as there was a burst pipe 1.5 km away. A bit overpriced for the price, but perfectly acceptable for a restaurant visit in Hamburg.

Fantastic view of the Outer Alster! The food also tasted very good and there is even a terrace with sun. It's almost an insider tip. Many people probably can't find the restaurant at all or think it's only for sailing club members.

A real insider tip. Great restaurant in the yacht club, great outdoor terrace, super attentive and perfect service. Good menu with oriental dishes too, everything highly recommended, I can particularly highlight the hamburger and the veal schnitzel, super tasty and really plentiful. It's worth a visit and the prices are absolutely great. Don't forget Augustiner brew on tap. I'm looking forward to the next visit

Once again a guest at the GURLITT Restaurant & Event for Sunday brunch, as usual very tasty and the extremely friendly and attentive service team, thank you very much. That was on the first Sunday of the month, in the GURLITT restaurant, An der Alster 47a, opposite. Hotel Le Meridien again had a successful brunch event including coffee and a welcome champagne or orange juice, again a very tasty meal and the usual very friendly and attentive service team. Reservation required. The pictures show it, a wonderful evening. It's slowly getting dark and at dusk 🕯️in the GURLITT, it's very cozy with the large windows all around with a view of the Outer Alster. I took the pictures of the “MUSCHELN FULL” offer a little late, so there were already empty mussels and half-empty plates. It was tirelessly served, either in white wine or tomato sauce, and all the guests were very satisfied. Now we are waiting for the next offers such as kale, ducks, geese and then again the cherry blossom festival with fireworks, as well as the wonderful view of the entire Outer Alster. Every 1st Sunday of the month at 12 p.m. there is a delicious brunch buffet including coffee & tea and 1 Glass of sparkling wine or orange juice as a welcome to the GURLITT restaurant from the Hamburger Segel Club, on the Gurlitt Island on the Outer Alster 47 a, opposite. Hotel Le Meridien offered (see video). Very friendly and attentive staff and a wonderful view of the hustle and bustle on the Outer Alster.

Under new management, the map is more exciting and the location is as maddeningly beautiful as usual. The only place I know of right on the Outer Alster that cooks so well and is so uncrowded. An insider tip! 🥰

We were invited to the 60th birthday. Grill buffet with lots of delicious things, also for vegetarians! Then the view over the Alster between the sailing boats, wonderful weather and a sunset to kneel down on! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, all in all a perfect evening!

Very nicely located on the water and very quiet. This despite the location being within walking distance of the main train station. The food was very good and the menu also offers vegetarian dishes.

The restaurant in the Hamburg sailing club - not just for club members. In a classic atmosphere you can dine directly on the Alster with a view of the boats. The Gurlitt team offers freshly prepared dishes with a changing menu. The HSC burger and the currywurst - both with great fries - are the long-running favorites on the menu. It's not just sailors who feel comfortable here.

War am Freitag dort nach dem Segeln essen. Die Qualität war klasse. Als es dunkel wieder gab‘s kleine hübsche Teelicht-Lichter und der Service war viel besser als früher. Macht bitte weiter so. Das fühlt sich gut an. Man fühlt sich als Gast willkommen.

Muss wirklich nicht nochmal sein. Bedienung desinteressiert, der Lachs den wir beide hatten war nicht glasig, er war innen komplett roh. Beilagen kalt, direkt aus dem Kühlschrank und sehr lieblos zubereitet und abgeschmeckt. Das Baguette dass es dazu gab bekomme ich bei Penny besser zum selbst aufbacken. 55€ für 2x rohen Lachs & zwei Bier ist selbst in heutigen Zeiten nicht angemessen. Und wenn man nur die Lage will, gibt es nebenan bessere Möglichkeiten mit besserem Essen.

We had grilled salmon and lamb, with a buffet of sallads. Grilled on the pier right in front of you! Everything was excellent, perfectly grilled and sallads were delicious! Served with chilled rosé wine on a warm summer evening right by the lake. This is a must when in Hamburg. P.S Everything at a really good price!

Schöne Terrasse, bei Sonne ein Genuss Aber auch bei kälteren/nassen Begebenheiten lässt es sich im Innenraum mit großer Scheibe mit Blick aufs Wasser.
