We were there last Thursday and were looking forward to lunch. When we ordered, we were told that fried potatoes were out as a side dish and that potatoes were only available with the schnitzel dish. It would be easy for a chef to quickly put these boiled potatoes in a pan and sell them as fried potatoes. It seemed to work for the two guests in front of us, too. They were given aspic with the supposedly missing fried potatoes. When I asked for a different side dish, which had also been so positively reviewed here, the answer was a resounding no. So I ordered the daily special, which came with dumplings, for €8.25. While we waited for our food, we overheard the manager, his wife, and the chef talking about making more dumplings for someone who would be picking up the same meal to go later. My meal was then served: the lukewarm beef roulade pan with extremely sweet cold red cabbage and cold potatoes. When the waitress asked why the dish was now served without dumplings (because she hadn't informed us beforehand), she only shrugged and fussed, followed by the reply that it was already 1:30 p.m. (The notice says lunch is guaranteed until 2:00 p.m.). Nothing else... The chef's reluctance was already palpable at the counter at the entrance when the conversation turned to finding an alternative to the fried potatoes. So, to sum up, there were a variety of dishes, just not the side dishes, which were paid for and offered. Both meals were lukewarm to cold, and the unwanted potatoes instead of dumplings were also cold. Words are beyond words about such an offer and the manner and inflexibility, and the fact that the kitchen dictates to the service and the customer when it's closing time. Then they shouldn't serve customers anymore and say, sorry, we unfortunately don't have anything on offer today as it says on the menu. It's a real shame, and as Reichenbach residents, we will definitely not recommend the restaurant to anyone. My companion, by the way, is a trained chef herself and values ​​culinary honor, which is lacking there. No alternative side dishes... crazy... but they cook dumplings for others later. As a customer, you feel really well served. One star is already too many. No words 👍

On July 3rd, I was with a friend at the restaurant listed. Lunch is advertised until 2 p.m. We arrived at 1:30 p.m. and were in the process of ordering food. The dishes we originally chose were mustard eggs and schnitzel with fried potatoes. The chef informed the wait staff over the phone that fried potatoes for the schnitzel were out. Only boiled potatoes were available. (As a trained chef, I wondered what was wrong with quickly turning boiled potatoes into fried potatoes in a pan.) My companion therefore opted for the dish beef roulade with red cabbage and dumplings! Meanwhile, as we were sitting down, we overheard a conversation between the chef and the chef through the hatch, saying that dumplings needed to be cooked again for a takeaway. It also mentioned the beef roulade. When our meal was served, the beef roulade came with boiled potatoes instead of dumplings. 🤪 When we asked the waiter directly why boiled potatoes were now served with this dish, they simply shrugged and replied, "...it's already half past one!" They didn't even mention that they were all out of dumplings; they just made the decision. On top of that, both meals arrived lukewarm. My impression of the chef was that he was rather listless and uncommunicative, as was the case with the waiter. It was as if the kitchen decided when the evening was over. For me, as a trained chef who has worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, this is an absolute no-go! It's a shame that guests are "dismissed" in this way.

We went to the Lindenhof for lunch. We ordered chanterelle schnitzel, and a special request for mashed potatoes instead of fried potatoes was accepted. You order at the counter, but the food is then brought to your table. The service was very friendly. The schnitzel was tender and delicious. The value for money was unbeatable.

If you love good German home cooking you've come to the right place. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly and it's freshly made, so keep it up.

I was completely surprised when I stopped for dinner with work colleagues while passing through today. The atmosphere is very loving. The hospitality was also very friendly and welcoming. The food is a poem, I had schnitzel with fried potatoes, that was simply MEGA! It tasted delicious, just like grandma used to cook with love! The fried potatoes were also The hit, preparing fried potatoes correctly is an art, not many people understand how to prepare them correctly! I am so excited that I will definitely host the next family celebration here! Everything fits here, ambience, hospitality, price and performance! Shortly after 1 p.m. we showed up at the Lindenhof. The looks: “What else do you want here?” also corresponded to the food. Carelessly prepared - no salad decoration - just a schnitzel with not entirely fresh fried potatoes. Half a 🍋 slice brightened up the menu. The eye is there - I know it from the catering industry. There could be something more. Or we probably arrived shortly before the end of the workday!

Ladies and gentlemen, Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed when I visited the Lindenhof. Oh god, where should I even begin? The food was not of the expected quality and not to mention the unfriendly staff. I don't understand the positive reviews, but I hope the company improves in the near future. Price wise it was a bust... well that's all I can say about it. I don't usually write reviews, but in this case I feel obligated to protect my loved ones from such a service

Despite the big celebration in the house, we were able to have dinner at short notice. Nice atmosphere, very tasty, freshly prepared food. The price/performance ratio is impressive. Thank you very much 🤗

Had a wonderful disco evening. Was a lot of fun. Gladly again.

The food was great, large portions, everything was very fresh, the game was well seasoned and soft as butter. The starter soup also surprised us and was very tasty. The dessert could have been presented a little nicer. The music on New Year's Eve was something for everyone and it also created a mood. But it would have been good to have a waitress because we sometimes got the drinks ourselves.

The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. The food is very good but the service is subpar. We ordered for 8 people and only had our food after 2 hours. Unfortunately never again

The Lindenhof is a good inn with very good food. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Prices are adjusted to today's times. A wonderful atmosphere, highly recommended.

We are completely satisfied. We ate deliciously and cheaply, we didn't freeze and everything was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was that the tables were a bit close together. But we'll be back.

Waren dort Essen, es wurde von vielen geschwärmt, daß es sehr gut schmeckt. Die Gaststätte ist wie eine Betriebskantine eingerichtet, von 3 Wahlessen gab es nur noch 2. Das Essen selbst war auch nicht der Bringer, daß einzigste war, es war preiswert.

War das erste mal dort , hat mir sehr gut gefallen , gestern gab es Sauerbraten und Rouladen im Angebot , wurde sehr gelobt , ich hatte Schnitzel war sehr lecker , wir kommen wieder

Haben uns heute spontan abends im Biergarten Lindenhof mit Freunden getroffen. Wir sind einfach nur begeistert....Speisen super im Geschmack und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Die Gastleute mehr als nett, man fühlt sich wohl und sehr umsorgt....Wir werden uns wohl öfter sehen....

Sie haben eine Chance verdient! Das Essen war jedenfalls sehr lecker.

Wir bestellen des öfteren zum Mittag essen und holen es selbst ab. Sehr lecker und bestes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Freundliche Bedienung in sauberen, hellen Räumen ( 2), geschmackvolle Deko auf den Fensterbrettern innen, schöne Blumenkästen aussen auf Fensterbrettern. Schönes Anrichten des Essens auf ansprechenden Tellern, ordentliches Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis...

Neueröffnung. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich. Der kleine Salat war relativ groß, mit Blattsalat, Tomaten und geriebenen Möhren und Rettich. Sehr lecker. Das Schnitzel war sehr groß, die dazugehörigen Pommes wurden seperat in einer Schüssel gebracht. Hat alles gut geschmeckt.

Wir waren positiv überrascht. Freundliche Bedienung. Sauberer Gastraum . Essen super . Preis Leistung top. Alles frisch zubereitet und schnell serviert . Weiter so ! Wir kommen wieder .

Ein Glücksfall für das gastronomisch eher etwas entwicklungsbedürftige Reichenbach. Gerade erst eröffnet, präsentiert dieser kleine Familienbetrieb sehr gute bodenständige vogtländische Küche. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und und schmeckt hervorragend.

Auf dem Heimweg durch Zufall angehalten. Und wenn unsere Kinder sagen das es das beste Essen ist, was sie seit langem hatten, in einem Restaurant, dann müssen hier 5 Sterne hin. Denn unsere Kinder sind die größten Kritiker. Service sowas von echt und sympathisch (erstmal Schurze anziehen :) ) und die Küche war richtig klasse. Roulade, Schnitzel, Schweinemedallions und Spargel. Alles mega lecker und trotzdem „bodenständig“ . Wir kommen wieder.

Neueröffnung! Die Gaststätte Lindenhof hat wieder neu geöffnet. Es gibt deutsche Hausmannskost, wie Rouladen, Spätzle und Sauerbraten. Auch für Kinder ist was dabei. Der Pfadfinder-Teller ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist sehr gut, schönes Ambiente und kinderfreundlich.

Sehr gute gutbürgerliche und bezahlbare Gaststätte.Schön daß es beim um sich greifenden Gaststättensterben sowas noch gibt. Wir kommen wieder....

Vielfältige, schmackhafte und preiswerte und regionale Gerichte, oft inkl. Salat oder Nachtisch. Immerwieder gern.

Das Essen ist okay, über Mittag sind viele Gäste da.
