We were there with a medium-sized group – it was an expensive affair, but absolutely worth it. There's a small selection of dishes, but each one is high-quality and delicious.

Very unfriendly. After parking, you were immediately turned away and asked if you understood German. Not recommended.

A very beautiful property with high quality in all areas. The rooms are very cozy, lovingly furnished, clean, and modern. I was thrilled the moment I entered. The green surroundings complete the overall picture. Only the roads to the property are sometimes difficult (with a sports car). The price advantage when booking directly through their website makes the value for money unbeatable! The reception, the service, and the food were all excellent! Compliments to the service staff!

We booked the hotel for an overnight stay after our wedding, and it was truly fantastic. Everything was very modern and lovingly decorated. We were truly thrilled with both the food and the service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and our every need was fulfilled. Thank you for the wonderful weekend!

At the Hotel Schöne Aussicht, you immediately feel welcome. A big compliment to waiter Harry, who makes every evening a memorable experience with his humor, charm, and attentiveness. And of course, to Mr. Sommer, the chef, who demonstrates with passion and genuine hospitality what a good host is all about. Great hotel, great people – highly recommended!

If you're not looking for a run-of-the-mill hotel room, then this is the place for you. Idyllically located and hidden away, you'll find peace and relaxation in beautiful surroundings.

To enter this restaurant, you first have to go through a locked gate, and the same applies when leaving. I find this very customer-unfriendly, first of all. A sign saying "with private road" would be more appropriate. Price-performance ratio should be like a 5-star restaurant, but it isn't. A rump steak, which costs 38 euros, comes with a piece of herb butter, which every pub offers. Cheaper, of course, but just as good! My recommendation is the Museumskeller, the Landschänke (country tavern), where everything is just right, both quality and quantity!!!!! But the waiter was really nice.

This location is my absolute favorite. If you love nature and peace, this is the perfect place. This location is remote from the city and difficult to reach on foot.

We had a delicious meal with a large group of four children. The kids also enjoyed themselves, as they received a specially tailored dish. We'll definitely be back.

If you like eating salad, you shouldn't ask for too much. When you asked, the answer was yes, we put together an appetizer with the host (birthday party). Okay, I thought I'd take it, when the main course came the waiter asked me if I wanted a salad, which I thought was very nice. Well, the salad came, but in the kitchen there doesn't seem to be any oil or spices, you have to pay for something like that, it's not possible. The bill was a disgrace, the starter was over 600 euros for 17 people.

We were four adults and a small child, had not made a reservation and were seated in a friendly manner even though it was busy. The food was great, the service was great and something was specially prepared for the little one. We felt comfortable.

Great restaurant with very good food and friendly service. Plus, the view is really great. A wonderful view of the Göltschtal Bridge and the region. Highly recommended, I will definitely eat here again! In the meantime I also stayed overnight here. The room was huge, modern and very attractive. Of course it was extremely clean. The view over the city is also great from the room. I have been very at peace.

The hotel has been beautifully restored, the view is gigantic, the rooms are modernly furnished with plants, beautiful fabrics and colors and lovingly decorated with attention to detail. Water is available free of charge and information material about sights and excursion destinations in Vogtland is available in the room. The breakfast is terrific, everything is fresh and very tasty. There are homemade jams and muesli with little sugar. Simply great and absolutely recommended. Dinner in the in-house restaurant is also highly recommended and very tasty. All beef dishes are prepared from the meat of our own Galloway cattle. The kitchen is very flexible, you can choose all the accompaniments yourself, sauce is added if you want more and the homemade ice cream is a poem. There is nothing on the menu just for vegetarians. However, due to the flexibility, I am sure that vegetarians will also get their money's worth if they speak to the service staff. We'll definitely come back when the sauna is open 😃

No, unfortunately not anymore. The food was good but the atmosphere was terrible. Loud, uncomfortable, when you told the landlord there was no reaction, just a gesture that you could leave.

Heute habe ich nach 11 Jahren die Schöne Aussicht wieder einmal besucht, Anlass war mein Geburtstag, es sollte etwas Besonderes sein. Das Essen war es auch, ABER das Umfeld eine Katastrophe! Eine Männertafel mitten in der Gastätte, unheimlich laut,man konnte sich nicht unterhalten und bei dem Preis von ca 40 Euro das Essen darf man ein angenehmes Ambiente erwarten! Als wir das beim Chef ansprachen wurden wir arrogant weggeschickt! Wir kommen nicht wieder und werden dieses Restaurant auch nicht weiterempfehlen...

A really wonderful hotel and restaurant! Great service and great rooms! The ambience of the main building alone is worth a visit. Already after the first visit you have a familiar feeling and you will be recognized even after a year. From visit to visit, guests will also feel at home. Simply fantastic!

The new rooms were very modern and yet comfortably furnished. I had an excellent view of the city. About the food: as a group we had a selection of many smaller dishes and snacks. Everything was very good! The service was also top. A real effort has been made here. Clear recommendation!

We have been here twice and enjoyed the food in a pleasant atmosphere, the overnight stay and the good breakfast. Hoping that this would work a third time, we booked a room and requested a table reservation in the restaurant. Unfortunately this time we didn't find a nice restaurant, but rather a large wedding party. We were offered a table at the edge of the wedding party, right next to the DJ booth, which we were supposed to share with other house guests and the children of the wedding party. That didn't correspond at all to what we imagine a nice meal in a restaurant to be. Accordingly, we stopped eating and staying overnight at this point. Unfortunately, there was no accommodation from the staff or even an apology for the unpleasant situation. What's more, we were insulted over the phone afterwards! We would have found it appropriate to be informed in advance about the wedding and the circumstances in the restaurant, then we wouldn't have gotten involved in the first place. This leaves a very unpleasant experience and the feeling of having been ripped off. We can only recommend staying away from this restaurant.

I don't know what went wrong with the two previous reviewers or whether they were in the wrong place - everything is perfect for us! The room was great and very tasteful, the reception was wonderful, the breakfast, the dinner (the roulade was fantastic - definitely try it!), the service was really attentive and super friendly... There's really nothing to complain about here! Hats off, the summers are doing great!

Unfortunately, we also have to agree with the negative reviews. The food was good but very expensive. The view was very nice and we had a nice evening until the manager of the restaurant appeared on the scene. Extremely rude. I've never experienced anything like this before. We even had him call us back several times to let us be "pumped" (after waiting 30 minutes with several attempts to contact us to pay, we were worried about his employee because he was nowhere to be seen or heard). Customer focus, as you can read in some other reviews, definitely looks different and you won't see us here again. The behavior experienced and what can be read here provides insight into why a restaurant is virtually empty on a Friday evening. Conclusion: We won't be seen here again. There are other good restaurants with beautiful views whose owners value the fact that customers come to them more often (and charge significantly less expensive prices).

I have found the restaurant to be first class for many years. Even if the prices are a bit high, the quality and service have always been right. I have proudly taken foreign business people there and have fond memories of a family celebration there. I was all the more surprised and horrified yesterday when I tried to get a table at short notice. I can understand that there is a lot going on on Saturday evening and maybe a bit of stress, but being treated like that on the phone, unfriendly and rude, was sobering. I can understand that there was no more space. But the fact that my counterpart reacted so irritably after a query and simply hung up was quite remarkable. In any case, my enthusiasm for this restaurant dropped a lot after that. So far I have recommended the Schöne Aussicht in Reichenbach to anyone who asks for a good restaurant. On Saturday evenings, it's better to look somewhere else, where you probably no longer need to be friendly with customers on the phone.

Very friendly service, very good cuisine. Exciting and creatively furnished rooms in the main building, unfortunately without soundproofing. Modern and beautifully designed apartments with a great view in the adjacent building. Great location, not easy to find...

Beautiful view, top hotel rooms, delicious food and attentive host. Get out of the hustle and bustle at the beginning of the year and just switch off and recharge your batteries. We were able to do this not only in the beautiful nature of the Vogtland, but also here in the hotel and restaurant. Our garden studio was very tastefully decorated and offered a beautiful view over the adjacent valley. Nothing was missing including a coffee machine for the first morning coffee. We went to the restaurant for dinner. We were able to end the day in a homely atmosphere with delicious roulade, Galloway burgers and red wine. The crackling of the fireplace and the cozy warmth did the rest. The team was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was fresh, varied and very tasty. All in all, a successful little break. We'd love to come back.

Schöne Zimmer und wie im Name schon erwähnt ist eine schöne Aussicht Realität . Der Weg ist mit Navi nicht einfach aber der lohnt sich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und nett. Eine Reise Wert.

Ein Tolles Ambiente, wirklich sehr gemütlich. Leider ist das Essen viel zu teuer für das was geschmacklich am Ende serviert wird. (nach einer wahnsinnig langen Wartezeit) Große Kritik geht an den Chef. Seine unverschämte und cholerische Art hat mich schockiert und ist absolut unangemessen. Professionalität gegenüber Gästen sieht anders aus.

Wieder mal ein Glückstreffer. Extrem nette Gastgeber, tolles Essen... Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ein rundum tolles Hotel 👌 Die Gartenstudios sind sehr gemütlich mit allem was das Herz begehrt: Grandiose Aussicht, tolle Einrichtung (mit Grünpflanzen, Deko und Lesestoff), dazu Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher. Und immer Zugang zu Getränken in der Gaststube (einschl. Zapfanlage 😏), auch am Ruhetag. Frühstück und Abendessen waren perfekt. Genussfrühstück das neben Brötchen auch selbst gebackenes Brot und selbst gemachte Marmeiade hatte. Dazu alles was man sich zum Frühstück wünschen könnte. Zum Abendessen kleine aber feine Karte, große Portionen und sehr nette Bedienung! Und vor allem ein echt sympathischer Chef, der immer gute Tipps für die Ausflüge in die wirklich schöne Umgebung hatte. Hier wird Gastlichkeit noch groß geschrieben 👍

Sehr lohnenswertes Restaurant! Es gab hier sehr gutes Essen (z.B. gefüllte Paprikaschote), das im Vergleich zu anderswo vielleicht ein bisschen teurer aber sehr viel besser war. Vom Freisitz aus kann man, ggf. auch ohne Schirme, einen wunderbaren Blick zum Abendhimmel genießen.

Diesmal haben wir auch in den gerade sehr hochwertig und liebevoll eingerichteten Appartements übernachtet. Auch toll! Auch die Küche wieder super! Wir hatten Gerichte vom GallowayRind - super lecker und genau richtig nach einem Wandertag. Uns gefällt die stilvolle Einrichtung und Dekoration. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Ein ganz hervorragendes Hotel sowie Restaurant. Der Architekt hat wie wir finden das Hotel phänomenal zum seit 1888 bestehendem Ausflugslokal gebaut. Tradition und Moderne passen hier sehr gut zusammen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und wunderschön möbliert und eingerichtet. Die Bäder sind ebenso großzügig und schön. Das Restaurant ist erstklassig. Woanders zu essen macht keinen Sinn. In unserem Fall hatte das Restaurant geschlossen nur die Besitzer ohne Köche und Kellner waren da. Trotzdem gab es phantastische Rouladen von eigenen Galloway Rindern. Der Chef hat sich einfach selbst in die Küche gestellt und alles inclusive Wein etc. serviert. Hut ab und ein Dankeschön. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war ein Gedicht. Also eine ganz dicke Empfehlung.

Dieses Restaurant muss man unbedingt besuchen. Das Angebot an Speisen und Getränken ist ausgezeichnet, die Bedienung ist sehr nett, freundlich sowie hilfsbereit und die Lage ist einzigartig. Man kommt hier an und Ruhe tritt im täglichen Leben ein. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Zu empfehlen sind u.a. die Wiener und das Tartar, große Klasse.

Sehr gut ! Tolle großzügige Zimmer die von den Eigentümern mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet wurden. Der Neubau im Garten ist einfach nur toll... moderne Ausstattung und ebenso wie das Haupthaus mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und dekoriert. Das Abendessen hervorragend und in sehr guter Qualität mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück lässt einfach keine Wünsche offen.... Die Eigentümer und das Personal sind außergewöhnlich freundlich und erfüllen wirklich jeden Wunsch ( wenn möglich). Wenn ich beruflich in dieser Gegend übernachten muss ist dieses Haus jederzeit meine erste Wahl !

Sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant. Sehr freundliches Personal. Hier merkt man dass jeder der Dort arbeitet, Spass an dem hat was er macht. Sehr herzlich sehr zuvorkommend. Die Karte hat genau die richtige Größe, nicht zu viel nicht zu wenig. Ich hatte mich für die Rinderroulade entscheiden, in der Regel schmecken die nur richtig gut bei Mutti, aber im Restaurant Schöne Aussicht war die auch sehr gut. Danke für die tolle Bewirtung und den super Service.

Das Essen war sehr Gut, wir hatten Rippchen mit einer wunderbaren Soße dazu und ein Paar Kartoffeln mit einer sehr guten Sour Creme dazu... Der Kellner war sehr vornehm und höflich, sowie Aufmerksam. Das Ambiente im Gebäude ist sehr gemütlich gehalten und lädt zum langen bleiben ein. Die Preise waren etwas hoch, die Portionen dafür aber mehr als ausreichend. Ansonsten war alles zur Zufriedenheit sodass ich es nur empfehlen kann.

Mein neues Lieblingshotel in Sachsen 😍. Wir sind durch Zufall bei Familie Sommers gelandet und können nur schwärmen! Alle Hotelzimmer (ob in der Stadt oder auf dem Berg Die schöne Aussicht) sind sehr liebevoll gestaltet, mit vielen charmanten Details und Hygge-Style. Und die Küche? Ein Traum! Gourmetcharakter und trotzdem bodenständig. Die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeberin hat mich auch sehr fasziniert! Ein Juwel in der sächsischen Hotellandschaft! 😍

Sehr gute Küche, die halbe Ente war sehr zart und kross, saftige Klösse und schmackhaftes Blaukraut, die Blautkrautsuppe zu Beginn war auch ein Highlight. Gallowaysteak auf den Punkt, innen saftig, aussen rüstig, bissfest Gemüse. Service freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder.

Wir hatten diese Woche diese Woche eine sensationelle Ente. Spitze! Das hatte ich nicht erwartet. Erste klasse. Super frisch, richtig kross und auf den Punkt gebraten. Dazu sehr gelungene Beilagen. Dazu ein schönes Ambiente. Wir kommen beim nächsten Urlaub in diese Region wieder! !

Wir waren gestern zum Geschäftsessen dort und waren positiv überrascht. Leider wird Corona, wie in der ganzen Region, hier sträflich ignoriert. Daher werden wir erst nach Corona wieder kommen.

Beste Ente meines Lebens gegessen. Alle anderen hatten das Kalbsschnitzel mit Spargel und waren auch sehr zufrieden. Wie den Name schon sagt schöne Aussicht auf Reichenbach.
