We were strolling in Seebruck and spontaneously decided to eat here. We were very, very satisfied. The food was delicious. The roast pork, the healthy green bowl, and the pulled duck burger were all excellent. We had to roll out after the extra Kaiserschmarren, but it was worth it. The service was very friendly and the ambiance was quaint. What more could you want? Highly recommended!

Yesterday, during a motorcycle tour, we spontaneously stopped for something to eat and drink. I have to admit, they would have had to pay us. Neither of us has ever eaten such a bad roast pork. Neither the meat, nor the sauce, nor the dumplings had any flavor. A truly bland meal, and a far cry from the photo on the website. Even the coffee wasn't my taste. In the future, we'll avoid the food and instead get a sausage from the snack bar next door.

A pub has to be a pub, and that's 100% what it is. The food and staff are fascinating, just as they should be. We'll be back 🤗

Hello, today on September 20th, 2025, I ordered two schnitzels for lunch. I got two children's plates for €17 each, fries, and two small schnitzels without any side dish! The fries were very oily and not fresh. It's sad, everyone just wants to get their fill quickly without any service... that's my opinion.

Such a nice outdoor seating area—they call it a beer garden here 😉 The beer and the pork knuckle are truly delicious, and the waiter (or waitress) Christian was very friendly and prompt. He even helped us find accommodation—thanks for the tip 👍

Since we were staying at the campsite across the street, we stopped here often for dinner. The restaurant also serves as a biker hangout, and it can get a bit noisy at times. But that didn't bother us. We weren't disappointed. Good Bavarian/traditional cuisine. Very tasty and served quickly. The staff is very friendly and has a good sense of humor. The lady who served the outdoor area also had everything under control. Conclusion: We would gladly return anytime.

Four of us spontaneously stopped by for dinner. The beer garden was about two-thirds full, so we got a table without a reservation. The beer garden is beautifully decorated in a classic style with plenty of space. The food is traditionally delicious and represents Bavarian cuisine quite well. The prices are a bit above average for the region, but that's probably due to the resort. Unfortunately, the most notable disappointment was the service. The first round of drinks came quickly, but we had to wait 45 minutes to order our food. While the two men serving seemed engaged, the woman seemed overwhelmed by her situation and wandered around the garden, seemingly somewhat disorganized (she was, mind you, the only server taking food orders). However, as the beer garden emptied, the pace of service didn't increase, and so it was ultimately the second drink order and the request to pay that took a long time and were only fulfilled after repeated requests.

We were absolutely thrilled with the Kupferschmiede! Located right across from our campsite, we had dinner there twice. All the dishes were delicious, freshly prepared. The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) was fantastic! We were served very quickly, even though the beer garden was packed. The service was super friendly, and a big thank you to René Ramon for his warm hospitality. We had a lot of fun and felt very comfortable. We'll definitely be back next time we're at Chiemsee❤️

We were there today, July 20th, around 9 p.m., actually just for a nightcap, and we can only praise it. The older gentleman with the glasses in the beer garden has hospitality in his veins; service is a top priority here, even late at night (I believe closing time is 11 p.m.). Thank you for the schnapps and best wishes from the people of Magdeburg. We'd love to come back during the day and enjoy the hospitality with food this time.

I'm still sitting here and I'm already writing to you. I ate a wonderfully roasted and seasoned roast beef Swabian style. It was served on cheese spaetzle...I still have to figure out which delicious cheese they used. Because this one was incredibly spicy and didn't have that "cowshed ammonia" taste (unfortunately, like many cheese places). As always, my conclusion: super attentive, competent, and friendly staff. The food: amazing! The ambiance: classic Bavarian, cozy. Feeling good is the order of the day, and staying a while is a must.

We slept at the campsite for one night. Booked the same day and arrived after closing time. But just had to find a place ourselves. Very easy and straightforward. Arrived at 8pm and hoped there was some food to get. Across the street we saw this cute little place. Went over and asked if we could order food. No problem, the kitchen closes at 9pm. Got a table and ordered food and drinks. The food was absolutely excellent! A turkey schnitzel with potato salad and a big steak. Was surprised by the quality and flavors! The kids had simple good nuggets and fries. We adults each had our local beer, Augustiner. Lovely! Really recommended to eat here! So worth the money 🙌 Sara who I talked to a lot was incredibly nice and funny. The guy who served us was just as nice and very helpful. Pretty sure it was owned by a married couple (Sara and her husband). Good atmosphere and lots of laughter in the place. Lovely people🤗

Very expensive and the staff is incredibly unfriendly. The food is good, though. You have to chase the staff for ages to pay. To be honored to pay, we had to go in as a group and stood in a long line. Since the aisle was somewhat blocked, we were yelled at for standing there...

Delicious food and very friendly staff. Heiko from the kitchen was my savior: he arrived at 9:30 p.m. with four hungry lions (= children) just as the kitchen was closing and cleaning. I still got four delicious schnitzels with fries. My savior of the evening...! Thank you!

We came from Poland to Camping next door and after very positive opinions we came here to taste Bavarian cuisine. The food was delicious, large, filling portions 🤩 The service was also very nice and smiling, with one nice waitress we managed a little in English 😆👍🏻 and the rest with sign language and guesses 😆😁 We highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very attentive, friendly service, the food was very appealing both visually and tastefully, of good quality, with a good selection, and it was also very child-friendly (our two toddlers were given something to color and were well occupied). We went there for dinner. The food is homely, southern German cuisine. The portions were reasonably large. At first, the waitress didn't serve us, perhaps they overlooked us. After that, it was perfectly fine. The restrooms could have been cleaner. The restaurant is located right next to a busy street. There are various seating options in the beer garden. Unfortunately, we sat on simple folding wooden chairs, which become uncomfortable after a short while.

I've known the Kupferschmiede for 50 years and was amazed today at how much it's changed. I got some food, and it was fantastic! Super delicious, keep up the good work!

This was my second time here – once with friends, for dinner and a long chat, followed by dessert, cappuccino, and later a long drink. The second time was with my husband and our two elementary school children, for dinner in the beer garden on a holiday. We expected it to be busy, and it was, but since we arrived relatively early in the late afternoon, there were still plenty of seats available, and we could choose between sun and shade. There's a small playground, and the children were immediately given a children's menu with puzzles and coloring pages, plus crayons, so everyone was happy. The food is first-class; everything looked and tasted perfect, the portions were more than sufficient, and they were happy to pack up any leftovers. The prices are absolutely reasonable, especially the children's dishes, which are very affordable yet still large enough for big eaters. The menu selection is clear and beautifully curated, and the daily specials complement it perfectly. Despite being very busy, the staff was very friendly and cheerful, sharing funny jokes with the children and with us. They obviously know how to treat guests here, which is exactly how it should be. We'd love to come back. Thank you.

We stopped for lunch on our bike tour around Lake Chiemsee. The service was quick and friendly. The portions were large and the food was delicious. A lovely Bavarian beer garden.

I had the best pork knuckle here in ages – wonderfully crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, simply perfect! The lunch menu is also a hit: super delicious dishes at really fair prices. The atmosphere is cozy, the service friendly – ​​highly recommended!

We went to the restaurant, which is practically right on Lake Chiemsee (just the road between them). The restaurant is located at the entrance to Seebruck, coming from Chieming/Ising. It's very nice from the outside, with a large beer garden. I used to live very close by; back then, the "Kupferschmiede" (coppersmith) was the motorcycle meeting place, often with 50 mopeds parked outside. Now there are only a few. Great food, friendly service. We had asparagus, which was delicious. We'll be back soon 👍🏻🌷☀️

Inn: A great inn that's been around for a long time. The beer garden is lovely, and the small playground for children is also great. The food is very good. One star deducted for the spectacle that bicycles aren't allowed in the beer garden, which probably happens dozens of times a day. A small sign with a warning would suffice.

We stopped to spend the night at the campsite opposite. The inn was calling to us. And we came. Numerous bikers and cyclists were here. We had decided on a seat. Very comfortably furnished and the tiled stove was my highlight. We were greeted very warmly and friendly and taken to the table. Our waitress was super nice and personable. The food, which surprised us, comes very quickly. Well, it was very tasty 😋. We had the crusted roast and the wheat beer goulash, with a side salad and cucumber salad. For dessert there was Kaiserschmarrn. Everything is delicious and plentiful. All in all a great pub. KEEP IT UP.

It used to be called Kupferschmiede and is still a biker meeting place on Lake Chiemsee. Had a currywurst with fries that was ok, but the sauce tasted like a finished product, which I don't want to complain about, but I know you can do better.

As always, a wonderful stay with excellent Bavarian cuisine. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and enjoyed the outdoor area with my brother, who is in a wheelchair. He hasn't been there in at least 20 years. I love this place, the food, and the people. We all really enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed the food.

We were there today, Sunday... 7 tables in the beer garden were occupied. The waiter saw us... and in 30 minutes, he couldn't even bring the menu to the table, let alone take our drinks. An older gentleman at the other table was also completely ignored. I then asked the manager, who said he was the only restaurant on Lake Chiemsee open today 🤣🤣🤣 (he probably wished it were). Thank goodness it wasn't. As we left, he said if we didn't like it, we'd just have to leave. We did... No wonder the employees are so unfriendly, if the boss sets such a standard!!

Great bike meeting place, excellent honest cuisine. Nice outdoor dining area, even if it's packed with fast service. We always enjoy going there. The only thing that bothers you are the extremely loud bikers who think noise gets them recognition. It's January and we are again completely satisfied with the catfish and lots of wonderful remoulade. The cordon very good. Dark Augustiner looks like more but the driver's license... Thanks to the innkeepers compliments on the kitchen.

We were in the restaurant, super friendly service. The food was decent in terms of quantity, but...the meat tasted good, as did the dumplings. But the soup's sauces and broth were not homemade. Anyone who likes flavor enhancers and canned mushrooms (in the dish with cream mushrooms) is in good hands here. For me it was too much of a good thing.

We had our Christmas party there and everything was perfect. Cake, food and service were top. Thank you for that. We'll definitely come back (if we're allowed ;-))
