We arrived straight off the highway from our vacation 🤗 and didn't have a reservation, but we were extremely hungry. Despite the late hour, we received excellent service and delicious pizza 🍕. The pizza is always a treat and highly recommended 😉

You can really enjoy a good meal at the Gasthof Hirsch in Altburg. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I can definitely recommend it.

The food was delicious. Beautifully presented, generous portions. We liked the pasta better than in Italy itself, and the presentation was also excellent. The prices were good. We paid 110 euros for five people.

Here you'll find a cozy, not-so-large restaurant. The ambiance is appealingly nice, and the staff is attentive and friendly. We'd be happy to come back. There's a small terrace, which is perfect in the summer.

Uns wurde dieser Gaststätte empfohlen, skeptisch wie man ist, geht man hin. Die Räumlichkeiten zeigten noch die Spuren der Renovierung. Dennoch sauber und gemütlich. Die Speisekarte war übersichtlich und nicht Überteuert, was mich hier erfreute war, alle Pastas Hausgemacht. Was man noch tun sollte an der Rechtschreibung der Karte arbeiten. Es zaubert dennoch ein Lächeln ins Gesicht, weil man weiß was sie anbieten. Das Essen kann nach der Bestellung schnell und Zeitgleich an. Es war Köstlich.. Ich konnte in dem jungen Unternehmen ein Blick in die Küche werfen. Wenn ich hier mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben könnte würde ich das tun

Super delicious food and very nice owner and employees. The prices for pizzas are normal, all other prices are rather expensive. The small selection of Croatian food is also very tasty. It is usually very crowded on weekends. A reservation is recommended. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. You can also order small portions for children.

After the renovation, a harmonious ambience. Very nice and courteous innkeeper. Unfortunately the map is incomplete and not particularly appealing and not up to date. The food and portions looked very good.

Very tasty food, the service is also very good. What's nice about everything else, however, is the decoration. We had glasses filled with stones and glitter paper that didn't fit together. Furthermore, there were no candles in the candlesticks and there were a lot of plastic flowers. There is also plastic on the wall that Green Moss was supposed to recreate, which looks very terrible. Still recommended. Price-performance is ok.

Great restaurant! Were there today for a big birthday, everyone ate something different, whether it was pasta, gnocchi, ravioli, pizza, Balkan platter, calamari, everything was delicious and homemade. If you ordered in advance (2 days in advance) it was even possible to get gluten-free pizza and that was a real highlight. Always happy, we can all recommend it! The service was also first class, we had a super nice waiter.

A very nice restaurant with very friendly staff

Nice place for a cozy get-together. There is a “Bohnenberger Room” here in memory of a great inventor and pioneer of “Württemberg land surveying” and the creation of the “original maps”. Opposite the restaurant is the former town hall of Altburg, which houses the Bohnenberger Museum.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Menu very good. The mixed salad could use some dressing, it was only garnished with a little balsamic vinegar. The pizzas, the base were very good, the toppings were too much cheese and not enough flavor for our taste.

Die Gastätte Hirsch, ist eine alteingesesse Wirtschaft, im Herzen von Altburg. Heute wird sie von einer kroatischen Familie geführt, welche sich auf Pizza und Pasta spezialisiert hat. Da die Wirtschaft schon sehr alt ist haben die Inhaber verschiedene dekorative Umbauten gemacht. Sei es im Lokal oder jetzt auch auf der Terrasse, welche seit kurzem auch Überdacht ist. Auch halten die Inhaber den Geist von Altburg Stand, indem sie zum Beispiel eine Bohnenberger Stube mit Bildern von Hirschen, gestaltet haben. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Lokalen, haben sie statt Montag, den Mittwoch als Ruhetag gewählt. Die Pizza Gerichte sind durchweg frisch und selbstgemacht, so dass man auch einzelne Zutaten ab- oder zu wählen kann. Bei allen Pasta Gerichten sind die Nudeln wirklich noch selbst gemacht, was sich natürlich im Geschmack widerspiegelt. Auch bieten sie hin und wieder regionale Gerichte an oder auch die Balkanplatte. Alle Gerichte schmecken immer gleich gut, egal wie oft man hingeht. Das heisst gleich bleibende Qualität. Was heute nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist! Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, auch wenn mal viel los ist. Man kann alle Gerichte auch zum mit nehmen bestellen. Desweiteren kann man die Wirtschaft auch für eine geschlossenen Gesellschaft buchen, wie zb. Taufe, Geburtstag ect. Das Lokal ist immer gut besucht, deshalb evtl Vorab informieren ob eine Reservierung notwendig ist. Preise sind absolut ok und fair. Leckeres Essen für bezahlbare Preise.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und wird zu einem moderaten Preis angeboten. Es handelt sich hier um einen Familienbetrieb, die sich sehr bemühen sowie nett und höflich sind. Wir waren während unseres zweiwöchigen Aufenthalts bestimmt sechs Mal dort zum Essen. Es ist wirklich zu empfehlen!
