Wir waren begeistert von dem hervorragenden Essen,ich kann es vollem Herzen empfehlen, das Personal ist ebenfalls spitze freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn es nicht soweit wäre, würde ich zur jeder Gelegenheit hier Essen aber von Bochum zum Goldenen Anker ist es schon ziemlich weit. Danke und weiter so.

Schönes Lokal. Verschiedene Sitzmöglochkeiten, Lokal, Nebenraum oder Garten. Hunde sind auch willkommen. Essen sehr lecker. Sehr nette Bedienungen. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Eine riesige Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, gute Fränkische Küche mit einer super Preisleistung.

Wir waren an einem sonnigen Sonntag Mittag im Außenbereich zum Essen. Service sehr freundlich, organisiert und auf zack. Wir haben uns für die Bärlauchnudeln und das Schäuferla entschieden. Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker und die Portionen groß. Preis Leistung passt auf jeden Fall. Sehr empfehlenswert

Wir wollten vor 2 Wochen dort essen gehen, sind extra dort hoch gefahren. Weil immer wieder gesagt wird das dass essen dort gut ist . Tja , was soll ich sagen, wir standen vor verschlossenen Türen . Wegen Umbauarbeiten geschlossen stand da . Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Laut Internetseite offen und dann das . Finde es nicht in Ordnung wenn geschlossen ist warum man das nicht auf der Internetseite den Gästen bekannt geben kann.

Wir waren an einem Sonntag Abend ohne Reservierung da. Es war voll, doch nach kurzer Wartezeit haben wir einen Platz bekommen. Der Service war super und schnell. Wir hatten unser Essen, trotz vollem Haus, in kurzer Zeit. Ich hatte die Roulade mit Klößen und die war wirklich sensationell und auch die Apfelküchle als Dessert waren wirklich lecker! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Die beste Wirtschaft im ganzen Landkreis! Das Essen immer top 👍 der Service extrem gut, schnell und immer freundlich. Wer hier herkommt, muss unbedingt die "Anker-Pommes" bestellen, das ist ein Muss! Und das warme Schokoküchlein... einfach ein Traum 🥰 Aber man sollte am besten immer reservieren!

Spontan Sonntagmittag vorbei gekommen; das Servicepersonal hat sich bemüht für uns noch einen Platz zu finden. Zugegeben - wir waren etwas skeptisch, nachdem der Tisch in etwas unter einer Stunde schon reserviert war... Was soll man sagen, die Aussage "Wir sind schnell mit dem Essen" beschreibt es nicht ganz - innerhalb von 3 (!) Minuten nach der Bestellung standen die Braten auf dem Tisch. Geschmacklich und Preisleistung sehr gut.

Waren auf der Durchreise und haben ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und auch an den Hund wurde gedacht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren sehr groß. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super leckeres Essen bei angenehmer Atmosphäre und seeehhr freundlichem Service. Wir kommen immer gerne von Bamberg aus zu euch gefahren.

Das Essen war ok, aber nicht Wiederholungsbedürftig. Unsere Schnitzel und die Pommes haben geschmeckt, als hätten sie schon länger gelegen. Auch der Griebenschmalz war etwas fad. Dass man nur bar bezahlen kann fanden wir schade, es gab nicht mal ein Hinweisschild.. Aber sehr nette und flotte Bedienungen!

Wir waren zum Mittagstisch vor Ort. Die Haxe (Empfehlung, nicht aufder Karte) sowie die Rehleber waren von bester Qualität. Der Service ist aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich. Das Bier des Monats ist immer wieder toll zu probieren. Ein sehr guter Gasthof mit ebensoguter Küche und ausgezeichnetem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Today was our first time at the Golden Anchor and it was simply fantastic. From the incredibly friendly service to the amazing food and the phenomenal dessert, everything was perfect. Our dog was also warmly welcomed. Thank you so much for everything.

We were here for our Christmas party and would definitely go back for a meal! The Anker fries are absolutely delicious and highly recommended as an appetizer, for example. The steak was also very good. I thought the price-performance ratio was okay and not too expensive.

We stopped there for a meal on a weekday at the beginning of October. The staff were very attentive and friendly. My husband enjoyed a smoked beer with his delicious meal. Both my dish, Franconian Schäufele (pork shoulder), and my husband's dish were absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Franconia.

We're describing a situation in Germany at the end of 2025: CASH IS KEY. Unfortunately, card payments are still being declined here. At least I was politely informed. It's a shame, because I'm reluctant to carry so much cash with larger groups. Perhaps this information will help others with their planning.

We were really looking forward to the carp – instead, it was an absolute disaster. We ordered carp fillet, but what we got was a minefield of bones. And no, not small or edible bones, but really large, dangerous things. In the worst case, something like that can injure your esophagus or stomach – simply irresponsible! The taste was also abysmal: soggy, old, and simply unappetizing. For €19.90, it's an absolute disgrace and not worth a cent. I really can't recommend it to anyone. Nevertheless, the salad was a bright spot, and the potato salad was very tasty.

We had dinner there last weekend. The service was super friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic. The meat was very tender, the sauces were homemade, and the savoy cabbage tasted like grandma used to make. The salad was also very fresh, and the side dishes were excellent 👍🏼 We'll be back soon.

Essentially 5* potential. Very attentive service, and the food was served super quickly. Despite asking, the horseradish in the meat was unfortunately just a cream sauce with a horseradish flavor. The grated horseradish, which was promptly delivered, unfortunately had to be mixed into the remaining cream sauce by hand. This should have been easily done in the kitchen beforehand. However, they couldn't have charged an extra fee, especially since the dish cost four euros less four years ago (almost 50% more now). The sauce was unfortunately far too creamy and rooty. The meat and dumplings were excellent. Otherwise, it would have been 5*. Perhaps another time.

I haven't had such good Franconian food in a long time. The liver dumpling soup was fantastic, and for the main course, we had Schäuferla (a kind of pork stew). The sauce alone was divine, the meat was tender as butter, and the savoy cabbage was just like Grandma's. The service is unbeatable: very attentive and always friendly! All in all, highly recommended; we'd love to come back!

We happened upon this restaurant. We had the wild garlic noodles and chopped dumplings with egg on top. It was really delicious, and the decor is rustic and modern. Just perfect. Maybe a few more vegetarian dishes... cheese spaetzli or something... but otherwise, the food was really great.

During our vacation, we've already eaten at the Goldener Anker twice (my dog ​​was also allowed to come along). There are few restaurants that offer a cozy atmosphere, have attentive, courteous, and friendly staff (even on Whit Sunday, just before the lunch menu ended and despite the crowds), serve excellent food, and offer excellent value for money. High praise!
