A very good restaurant with a lovely ambiance and excellent service. The food came quickly and tasted very good. However, I had the pickled sauerfleisch in aspic. Highly recommended. It's best to make a reservation in advance, then you're guaranteed a seat, as the restaurant gets busy.

I found the restaurant on Google, but when I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying they only serve by reservation. Since I was traveling alone, I went in anyway and asked, and I actually got a seat without booking. The service was extremely friendly. I had liver with mashed potatoes, which was delicious and cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce; it couldn't be better. The restaurant, the food, the service, and the ambiance definitely deserve five stars.

Definitely recommended! Even though it was only open for reservations, the super friendly staff gave us a table inside! You wouldn't have guessed that, but the food was delicious. We'd love to come back!

The beer garden looks inviting. We sat down at a table and waited. The waitress served the only guests at the next table and completely ignored us. We waited patiently, as the unfriendly waitress had seen us and we assumed she would come out again. In vain...

We celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday and had a wonderful meal at the Lohmühle. Luckily, we had made a reservation.

We can't judge the food, as we were greeted with such unfriendly, head-shaking behavior that we can't even rate it. What would we think of not making a reservation and wanting to sit outside in the drizzle? It's probably only recommended for locals who know the rules in advance.

However, one star deducted for the price of a 0.4-liter apple spritzer for €5.10. I only noticed this when I received the bill. So, folks, check the menu first... because I think it's more than excessive.

Best restaurant in Neubrandenburg

A very nice restaurant with a beautiful outdoor area. We were there with 15 men. From the starter to the main course, dessert, service, and drinks, everything was spot on. It couldn't be better. I highly recommend reserving a table in advance. We'll definitely be back.

Super delicious food and really nice restaurant

I haven't had such good food in Neubrandenburg in a long time. The venison schnitzel with mashed potatoes and salsify and Brussels sprouts was truly delicious! And I haven't had such fluffy Kaiserschmarrn anywhere else here in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The food was very bad. Three of us went there, and everyone's potatoes were almost raw, as was the asparagus, and very poorly peeled. Furthermore, the service was very unfriendly and unaccommodating. Never again from this restaurant.

I have visited the Gasthaus zur Lohmühle several times and it really stands out for its quality, hospitality and ambience! A visit to the Lohmühle is always the right decision. In Neubrandenburg it is definitely one of the top 5 restaurants here.

We were there on February 18th. eat at the Lohmühle. We received a very warm welcome. So the beetroot soup is a dream. And the meat from the mill plate was exactly right and very juicy. If you want to have a good meal, you should definitely stop by the Lohmühle.

We had dinner here. I had already reserved in advance by email. We were personally greeted in a very friendly manner by the boss and taken to our place. The atmosphere is very cozy/cozy, the character and thus the charm of the old building are totally convincing. The menu is clear and offers something that everyone likes. The food came to the table quickly, hot and absolutely good looking. Afterwards we treated ourselves to a sweet dessert. Four scoops of ice cream with nuts, caramel and cream. That was soooo delicious. The prices are more than fair. We paid a total of 105 euros (3 people, each of whom ate a large drink, a main course and a huge ice cream.) I will definitely come back. Little tip: The Lohmühle plate is great. About the parking spaces: You can park right next to the Lohmühle or you can make it easy and park opposite in the large Divi parking lot.

Delicious food and great service in a homely atmosphere. It's nice to walk past because the restaurant is a bit hidden. But you shouldn't do that! The menu is balanced and clearly laid out in a classic and home-style style. The dishes are well prepared and fresh at pleasant prices. You should definitely try the duck sour meat. Everything else too, of course. But definitely the duck sour meat! We are very happy that we stumbled across by chance and would like to thank you for the great service and excellent cuisine!

Wer ein schönes gemütliches Restaurant mit einem tollen Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sucht ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben.

Wir waren das erste mal in dem urigen Restaurant. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und Aufmerksam. Perfekter Service. Alle Speisen die wir probierten waren sehr gut im Geschmack und ansprechend angerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
