Gasthaus Thüringer Wald in Eisenach

Very good snack bar with seating. The chef is really nice and polite. Everything tasted great. Real schnitzel, not frozen stuff. I'd love to come back.

Ordered a kebab there for the second time yesterday and then went home full of anticipation. Couldn't wait. Great kebab as it should be. Great taste and a really good portion. If you could do some work on the premises then it would be perfect.

Prices are ok. Ambience is good. Soup and falafel roll were delicious! Service was great because we wanted to eat vegetarian and didn't see that the pea soup had meat. It was exchanged immediately without asking and something new was offered. Very friendly!! Thanks. Would come again.

This is our third time here and we are so excited about the service and the food (simply awesome), we haven't found anything comparable yet. We will be back on 05/27/25 Top top top. Gastronomic greetings. Family Seipt

We were in Eisenach over New Year's Eve and spontaneously decided to go to this restaurant because it was within walking distance for us. We got a table for 2 without a reservation, the service person came very quickly and was very friendly. We took 2 solyanka as a starter, the food came within a very short time, it was incredibly tasty and highly recommended. As a main course we had Thuringian bratwurst with sauerkraut and chicken roulade with pasta in parmesan sauce. We really enjoyed it and the food was incredibly delicious. The price is a bit higher but justified for the high quality and delicious food.
