We visited today and were all a bit disappointed afterward. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive, but after asking, they at least brought us the side salad. The food itself was partly okay, but partly disappointing. The "old Polish fried potatoes," for example, were basically just frozen potato wedges. The extra charge for changing the side dish wasn't listed and wasn't communicated to us. The schnitzel and steak came without sauce, so they were quite dry. One of the drinks we ordered never arrived. However, the service was friendly and they apologized for the long wait. For these prices, we expected significantly more, so we probably won't be returning.

The beef roulade was unfortunately not what I expect from a roulade. It was filled with an unidentifiable, mushy substance. Next time I'll order something else. The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately somewhat disorganized. Five different servers appeared at our table. More is certainly better than too few, but the responsibilities should be better coordinated.

Discovered a restaurant while passing through We were very happy to get a table that evening, even though they were still serving a wedding party. Unfortunately, the food took a little longer than expected. However, the salad was served very quickly. Everyone was very attentive. The food was good and plentiful. To finish, we were offered a complimentary Polish schnapps. 😀

Everything was fantastic from start to finish. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a lovely table with simple yet elegant decor. The dining room was beautifully furnished (especially if you appreciate wood, like we do). We were served promptly and were frequently asked how we were doing. It wasn't intrusive at all. In today's world, they had plenty of staff (which speaks volumes). The food was outstanding. The roulade was incredibly tender, and the fried potatoes were delicious. Anyone who finds fault here is always looking for something to complain about. I immediately booked another table because it's simply a wonderful restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. Even the owner and his charming wife come to the table and chat with the guests. ❤️ We haven't been to such a great restaurant in a long time.

Who would have thought it? I've driven past this restaurant for years and only stopped for the first time today. The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly. The pierogi and Metaxa pan were absolutely delicious. This definitely won't be our last visit.

We were unfortunately very disappointed. The fried potatoes tasted more like warm chips than real fried potatoes, very unappetizing. The Ohms schnitzel with chanterelle mushrooms was deep-fried, and there was no trace of the advertised Gouda cheese. A real puddle of grease accumulated on the plate. The dark beer was served unchilled. We also discovered that the voucher book required us to pay a one-time €5 extra. This information was only in the small print at the bottom of the page and was not disclosed to us beforehand. The sauce we were offered was also not included; it was charged separately without us being informed. We also had to wait quite a long time for our food. Overall, unfortunately, a very disappointing experience, both in terms of the food and the service.

Delicious Polish food with friendly service

We ate at Gasthaus Ohms again on September 7th. It's always delicious, and the portions are filling. The service staff is very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back. So, the chef went fishing in Norway, and we're back. This time on September 19th for a delicious cod dinner. Delicious is an understatement. The sloppiest cod, grilled. Fantastic, thank you so much, Mariusz! We'll be back soon, guaranteed! Next time I'll take a photo, too.

I was there with my companion at the end of August. We specifically requested no onions, but the dumplings arrived with a large pile of ONIONS on top. We pointed this out to the server. Instead of adding them to the dish, they simply scraped the onions off, and they were bad at that. There were still onions left. When we pointed this out, the server simply replied, "The dish has onions in it anyway, and there are no pierogi without onions; the guest should know that." 1. As supposed experts, do you have to explicitly point out that there are onions in the dish when someone says they don't want onions? If someone mentions allergies, do you intend to simply ignore them and let them choke on nuts or whatever they're allergic to? Is that how you view your profession and hospitality? 2. The issue was always the onions, which are usually served fried with bacon with the dumplings. This should be especially clear when someone requests no onions. Nobody ever mentioned the onions, which are finely chopped in the filling. Instead of accommodating the guests' wishes, we were told not to order anything that we supposedly knew contained onions. Yes, no, you violated your duty to inform and then harassed your guests, made up for your mistake, and even charged them. Even our request to remove the dish from the menu, which we didn't receive as ordered, was loudly dismissed. No insight. All in all, the visit was a complete disaster. This isn't a GUEST house, it's a GUEST house. You'll find more quality and hospitality at every rest stop.

The food was delicious. The service was unquestionably friendly and accommodating. And the ambiance was very nice; everything was made of wood, I felt really comfortable. And the restrooms were also very clean and well-maintained. I will definitely eat and drink there again. The price is definitely worth it for the amount. They also had darts, billiards, and foosball. Plus, there was a bowling alley, so you weren't bothered by the other rooms at all. Plus, the upstairs area in the chill lounge was simply fantastic.

We dined there with eight people. The staff was extremely attentive and very friendly, with beaming faces and a truly warm welcome. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The value for money was definitely good. We will be back.

I went to this restaurant and specifically ordered a dish without a specific ingredient – ​​several witnesses can confirm this. After a very long wait, I still received a dish in which the requested ingredient was scattered throughout. I returned the food and was assured that I would receive the correct one. However, even on the second attempt, the ingredient was still there, and nothing had changed, except that the food was possibly already completely cold. When I complained and explained that I couldn't pay for it, the owner yelled at me loudly. Instead of showing understanding, he blamed me on the grounds that this dish was "always prepared this way" – but there was no indication of this either in the order or on the menu. An absolute no-go for me: incorrect orders, unprofessional treatment of guests, and a complete lack of customer friendliness. Anyone who values ​​service and proper food should find another restaurant and definitely not go here!

We took a break here during a hike, and it was simply fantastic! 🌿 The service was super friendly, welcoming, and their witty remarks immediately put us in a good mood. The food was truly delicious—just what we needed after a hike. We also particularly appreciated that dogs are welcome and were given water right away. All in all, a very pleasant stay—we'd definitely love to come back!

If you're craving Polish cuisine, this is the place to go. The food reminds you of home, the ambiance is beautifully rustic, and the staff is great. You simply have to try the Zurek w Chlebie (a kind of sauerkraut). I'd love to go back.

The food was good for most of us (fish and schnitzel), but unfortunately, one of us had a dish that was misunderstood. The meal was kindly prepared despite the late hour, but unfortunately, our request for the steak to be cooked medium was ignored, presumably to avoid making us wait any longer. Dessert of vanilla ice cream and hot cherries was a delicious finale, and the host kindly treated us to a quick one at the end. Very pleasant atmosphere and service, mostly delicious food, just a little more careful service would have been appreciated. All in all, though, so good that we'll definitely give it a second chance 😉

The sirloin steak was dry and of poor quality. The large schnitzel was served on fries, and the fries flew off the plate when it was cut. The hollandaise sauce wasn't worth the extra cost... We certainly won't be going back to that restaurant.
