Gasthaus Kurze Ecke in Leipzig

The restaurant was full and very loud! It took over 90 minutes from ordering to serving - unbelievable. Some drinks we ordered didn't come and the food didn't come as requested.

Always friendly and so cozy with a beer and good conversation. Absolutely top!

So far it has only been open once or twice a week, but the small pub is still well received and visited by local residents. You can sit in the restaurant at the counter and a few tables, in the winter garden (dry, covered, smoking area or, if the weather permits, in the adjacent outdoor area. Food and drinks are in the lower price range. The menu includes the classic dishes you know from the past. (Solyanka, Rostbrätel, brawn and fried potatoes etc. all freshly prepared)

We took advantage of the open Friday and enjoyed ourselves here. A short, sufficient map for us, where we all found something to eat. Since it is only officially open on Fridays, it is well attended. It's small and nice here and we'd love to come back.

Very cozy guest room. A bit too green for my taste🤣. However, I feel comfortable. I was completely delighted with the toilets. I think it's great here.11

We celebrated our wedding here in September and had a great evening! Ms. Schramm helped us with all of our questions in advance and was very courteous and competent. Your calm demeanor was good on such an exciting day. We ordered the food from outside, so no star rating here, drinks worked perfectly. We brought some of our own decorations, but otherwise found the atmosphere rustic and cozy and exactly how we wanted it. Our guests enjoyed being able to go outside in the afternoon when the weather was good; there is enough space for big and small children to play. In the evenings we could dance inside and there was space outside for conversations around the fire bowl. Thanks for the lovely evening! We would definitely like to come by for a drink to remember this beautiful celebration!

We celebrated our child's start of school there. The conditions discussed were only partially adhered to, drinks offered on the menu were not available (Fanta, fruit juice,...) or were gone after 30 minutes. The highlight was when we wanted to enjoy the grilled buffet we had ordered for dinner and we were told we should grill ourselves. After a lot of back and forth we were grilled. The service was very unfriendly, we were sometimes insulted when ordering drinks and our children were insulted and bullied, so that my child was told, for example, that the way you look, you are only allowed to have water Drink and no Sprite or finish your food before you get something new from the buffet. That doesn't work at all!! We finally paid for the meal. Not everything from the buffet we ordered was provided, for example the promised baked potatoes and herb butter were missing. At the price I paid there, I won't celebrate anything there again and it's really not recommended.

Very nice atmosphere in the countryside.

End the week comfortably with friends and eat a little something. What more do you need?
