Gasthaus Kröcklstüberl in Bad Griesbach i.Rottal

Had dinner with 23 golfers and everyone was very satisfied, very good food, super nice staff. We opened it especially for us. Come back and look forward to it. Highly recommended!!!

Above all. We were at a prom where the Wastl landlord apparently did the catering. So: We weren't there in the restaurant. Therefore, I cannot rate the restaurant or service here and now. So let's go straight to dinner. This was visually very appealing, but tasted subterranean. The fries had no salt or taste of their own, the sausage salad felt like it was made with water instead of vinegar and the coleslaw tasted more like crunchy water instead of cabbage. All in all, the taste quality of the catering was not satisfactory for us. We can only hope that the food in the restaurant tastes like food.

We waited an extremely long time for our food; other guests arrived significantly later and were served well before us! While the food didn't come out of the kitchen any sooner, the service staff could have, or even should have, taken action. Even the quick, friendly lady (boss?) didn't do anything of the sort. We were about to pay and leave, but the food was served anyway. The chicken breast made up for it, but not the grilled fish, which was relatively manageable at a hefty price—not recommended for the hungry.

Well, sometimes it can happen that the boss (Italians don't bother) takes a little longer, but it's one of the best restaurants far and wide. If you want to eat fresh and delicious food without stress, if you want a nice drink, etc., you're in good hands here!

Simply great specialties, very tasty food with changing dishes. A rustic atmosphere with great guests. The service is great, funny and very accommodating. Thank you for the lovely evening.
