We sat in the beer garden. The service was very good, the choice of food was very good and also very tasty. For example, my husband had brawn and still raves about it. The prices were reasonable and pleasant. Can be highly recommended 👍👍👍

If you like a beer garden, this is the place for you. Great service that also knows how to have fun, delicious food and a boss who lives for his restaurant. We'll be back, maybe that could be taken as a threat. 👍👍😜

The waiter wasn't in a good mood.

Nice beer garden. Food good. We were there 2 days before company holidays, unfortunately not all of the dishes were available even though they were on the menu.

Went for lunch today. They both had a schnitzel with mushroom sauce and spaetzle. It was decent food except for some dry spaetzle. Prices for food and drinks are reasonable.

Unfortunately the staff is completely overloaded and you can feel that as a guest. Waiting 1 hour 15 minutes pushed our patience to the limit.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant at all. All three people had an onion roast with cheese patzn. This should actually have been medium rare, but unfortunately it was completely fried and completely mixed. In terms of thickness and appearance, it was more reminiscent of a schnitzel or beef minute steak. The “Käsespätzle” were a far cry from Käsespätzle. The taste is more like ready-made spaetzle from the microwave with a few fingertips of grated cheese on top. This is not what you would expect in a Bavarian restaurant. A small consolation: the fried onions were really very good. Then the waiter came to see if everything was okay and we complained then he just said there's nothing I can do now, unfortunately this answer also came across as very stroppy and not exactly professional. About 10 minutes later we would actually have expected at least an apology or at least an espresso as an apology, no that wasn't the case but he came around the corner with a piece of beef and proudly told us "greetings from the kitchen, that's the meat for." the onion roast roast” Well maybe that should have been the meat but definitely not what we got. Unfortunately, this reaction was not completely without understanding. Unfortunately you also have to get your own drinks and the food is then picked up by the staff. Unfortunately the staff was very disorganized. Unfortunately, the staff didn't even know where each table was. The only positive thing is the beer garden, you have plenty of space to sit and it is also very nicely decorated. Unfortunately, despite everything, we won't be coming here anymore.

That was the first and last time I visited the restaurant. We went to this restaurant for the first time today. Wow, we were extremely disappointed. We were really looking forward to a Zwienelrostbraten with kässpätzle At first the Swabian plate was in the foreground, then we read on the menu that no reorders were possible for today. So we chose the onion roast. I've never been so disappointed. The menu says: onion roast from the loin. The meat was like a ridge! Very bad really. These weren't kässpätzle. It was like making cheese spaetzle yourself and then pre-washing the plates. The cheese hangs at the bottom of the plate We were so very disappointed. I was there for the first and last time. Such a disappointment. Real I don't want to write any more now!!!

Irritable, outrageous and sexist! A funeral party had its meal after a funeral ruined in an incredibly inappropriate manner. Every single table was dealt with. Here are the details: (First of all, it must be noted that this review is not directed against the Jägerhaus in general, but primarily against the service, especially the somewhat corpulent gentleman as "waiter", and his acceptance of friendly criticism.) The initial situation: We were there as a funeral party of 40 people at non-business hours and therefore had an appointment agreed with the inn, which was warmly accepted. Those affected therefore knew about the size of the company and that it took place at a different time than their usual working hours. Here is what happened during the stay: The guests were expected to already know what was on offer by heart; when asked, they responded in a very unfriendly and rude manner and kept giving different answers. When asked about vegetarian dishes, the response was extremely negative and no understanding was shown towards those affected. An insensitive and inappropriate comment was then made to THE DECEASED and then a sexual comment was made to THE DECEASED'S GRANDDAUGHTER about her cleavage. As if that wasn't enough, an 80-year-old guest had to wait longer for his drink than for his food at 30°. When asked where the drinks were, they said they had no dishes, but the reason was that they hadn't cleared away the empty glasses (they were piling up!!!). After the order was taken incorrectly (which was very often the case) and the wrong dish was delivered, the wrong dish was forced on a guest, which could only be prevented thanks to several objections. The children's portion for a 1 year old child had to be ordered several times and had a very long wait! Now the absolute highlight of the billing: After a factual and friendly tip about how to deal with a mourning party, the reaction was unreasonable and aggressive behavior was shown towards the DECEASED'S SECOND GRANDDAUGHTER. After derogatory comments were responded to accordingly, VIOLENCE was indirectly threatened after the end of the service!!! Despite the tip, which was given so that the situation could be easily resolved, the service ran after the WIDOW of the deceased and wanted to continue to argue with her in an impossible tone and was only prevented from doing so thanks to the efforts of the granddaughter. Overall, the service is incredibly rude and insensitive. This will be reported to the funeral home so that as long as this service is working there, there will be no more visits to the hunter's house. As long as this waiter works there, we and our relatives will boycott the Jägerhaus.

We have been back to the Jägerhaus for a long time and are very excited. The food is all freshly prepared, the side dishes such as dumplings, sparrows and salad are homemade. The prices are really cheap in comparison for a generous portion! A German restaurant with very good meals and snacks.

If you want to be insulted by an unfriendly waiter, the Jägerhaus is the right place for you. If the waiter doesn't get the order right, it's the guests' fault and will be yelled at accordingly. If you dare to complain, outrageous comments come. Service was unfriendly and overwhelmed. The food was ok, the beer garden was nicely shaded by large chestnut trees. Unfortunately, all of this is ruined by the rude service. Can't recommend!

The last time for now! Although there is little activity in the beer garden and there are four service staff available, we waited a full 15 minutes for two drinks from the time we ordered. When ordering food, the total is FIVE! We made it clear in a friendly tone that the bacon-cheese burger should not contain onions due to an intolerance. The visibly overwhelmed waiter then took almost five minutes to take our two-person order. After a manageable wait, two onion roasts are served, of which only one was ordered. This was due to the gentleman who ordered one steak too many in the five minute intake of the food - no problem, mistakes happen. Finally, after a short wait, the burger is delivered, but with onions. After this is brought to the attention of the waiter in charge, the plate is soured without apology or anything and taken away without comment. The burger was then re-prepared, which again took 15 minutes. The burger was then served by a friendly waitress. Unfortunately, the coleslaw advertised on the menu was missing. After a quick inquiry, we were told that it was not in stock today and that a mixed salad would have been served as a replacement. But the salad was never served. The neighboring tables were also visibly annoyed by the long waiting times. A neighboring table ordered 1/8 of the Green Vertliner. Even though the drink service was completely free, it took 15 minutes for her wine to be served. Since the stay so far has been a failure, we decide to pay, which the waiter then did directly. We are asked in a rude and unfriendly manner whether we have never made mistakes before and that we would be better off at McDonald's. The waiter's way of dealing with this situation cannot be surpassed in terms of unprofessionalism and ridiculousness. Instead of admitting to our own mistakes, which were repeatedly pointed out in a friendly manner, and correcting them independently, we were discussed with us to the point that we were threatened with physical violence by the waiter in question. Unfortunately, the innkeeper showed little interest in the criticism and even defended the waiter, probably out of fear of losing even the last bit of help. It is known beyond the local border that the restaurant has a shortage of qualified staff. Apparently the landlady feels the need to employ untrained and reputation-damaging staff. You should urgently get rid of the corpulent and incapable of criticism "service staff" who treat their guests condescendingly so as not to permanently scare off even more guests. Given the current situation, we recommend avoiding this restaurant unless you like waiting forever for your food and being insulted. It's a shame, because until recently the restaurant was really recommendable and the food is still good and tasty.

Friday schnitzel day, which I find strange that you have to order each sachet of ketchup separately and it costs extra. I think ketchup is included with a schnitzel with fries. Therefore one star less. Otherwise the taste is good.

I've eaten there several times. So the food is good and generously portioned and a fair price. The only thing I can complain about is that there is dessert on the menu, but the dessert is never there, either the ice cream is always gone, not a big selection. the apple fritters or emperor sponge are made fresh?. Cake cake there is almost never anything there.

I have known the Jägerhaus since I was a child. That means over 50 years. The onion roast roast to the second. Wonderfully tender. Only regional products are used here. You can taste that

Moin . Ich hatte unsere ganze Gans für Donnerstag Abend telefonisch bestellt . Die Gans war incl. der Beilagen wirklich ausgezeichnet . Auch der Service war OK und höflich . Allerdings wurde uns für unser Weihnachtsessen ein Tisch im grossen , unpersönlichen Saal zugewiesen , was uns allen sehr missfiel ! Schade ! Es wäre doch ein leichtes gewesen , mich bei der telefonischen Bestellung darauf hinzuweisen , denn wir hätten dann auch auf einen anderen Tag ausweichen können . So hat unser Gansessen leider dann einen faden Beigeschmack auf Grund des Ambientes gehabt , denn gemütlich war es dort zu einem feinen Essen nicht. MfG Michael Falke

Ein älterer Herr reißt den Service auf 3 Sterne rauf. Das Essen war „ok“ aber ein Salat aus der Packung mit Dressing (niemals hausgemacht) für 12, 50 Euro finde ich nicht zeitgemäß. War das erste und letzte mal hier.

Wir waren sonntags mittags dort. Parkplatz voll, Gaststätte ziemlich voll. Der Begrüßer schickte einen Angestellten, uns den reservierten Tisch 18 zu zeigen. Der musste ihn aber erst selbst suchen. Nun ja. Wir saßen in einem großen Saal, der nicht ganz hässlich ist, aber halt auch nicht schön und erst recht nicht gemütlich. Durch die vielen Leute und fehlende Schalldämpfer war es viel zu laut, um sich vernünftig zu unterhalten. Handgeschriebene einseitige Sonntagskarte ohne Getränkekarte mit überwiegend fleischlastigem Angebot. Das bestellte Schnitzel Wiener Art war okay, aber auch weit entfernt von der auf der Website mit der dämlichen URL beworbenen "exzellenten deutschen Küche". Ich bin kein Koch und kein Profi, aber ich denke, das Schnitzel war TK-Ware, die in der Fritteuse heiß gemacht wurde. Pommes-Portion überschaubar. Dazu n Tütchen Ketchup und vorneweg der übliche, völlig lieblose Salatteller mit Wasserdressing. Das zweite Gericht (Tafelspitz) war etwas besser. Keine Nachfrage seitens der Bedienung, ob alles okay sei. Service insgesamt aber gut, auch wenn mich das Erstaunen deutschen Servicepersonals, wenn man doch tatsächlich im Jahr 2023 mit Karte bezahlen möchte, immer wieder, nun ja, erstaunt. Preisniveau ganz gut, tendenziell etwas günstiger als erwartet. Insgesamt kann man da hin und wird einigermaßen satt, aber es ist bezogen auf Essen und Ambiente Durchschnitt, höchstens. Nächstes Mal gehen wir sicher woanders hin.

Uriger Biergarten mit gutem Essen und Mittagskarte

Klassische bayerische Wirtschaft mit lokalen Spezialitäten, aber auch einer guten Auswahl an Burgern. Thementage mit günstigen Preisen unter der Woche (Freitag: Schnitzeltag). Freundliche Bedienung bei aufmerksamem und schnellen Service und vernünftigen Preisen. Neuerdings gibt es im Biergarten auch einen gut funktionierenden Selbstbedienungsbereich mit einer großen Auswahl an Speisen. Wegen der großen Beliebtheit empfiehlt sich jedenfalls eine telefonische Reservierung.

Eine von den mittlerweile wenigen "gutbürgerlichen" Gaststätten in unserer Umgebung. Wir waren zu einem Familientreffen eingeladen und waren sehr erfreut über die gute Qualität der Speisen: frischer Salat, gut zubereitetes Fleisch und klassische Nachspeisen. Eindeutige Empfehlung!

Gute Küche. Freundlicher und sehr schneller Service. Auf das Essen musste man nicht lange warten. Preis ist im bürgerlichem Bereich €. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und die Portionen sind gross. Auch die für den kleinen Hunger. Immer wieder gerne.

Kommen gerne Freitags zum Schnitzeltag. Gute Bewirtung mit leckeren Schnitzeln so muss das sein.

Der Schweinebraten inkl. Knödel, Soße und Salat war super. Die Schweinemedaillons waren leider zu dünn und daher komplett durch und trocken. Pilze angeblich frisch, hatten aber Konsistenz und Geschmack von eingelegten. Der Service war freundlich aber es wurde nicht darauf geachtet, wenn man längere Zeit mit leerem Glas dasaß. Alles in Allem ein schöner Biergartenaufenthalt.

I always say, you can tell about the place based on toilets, and those were super clean. It was not too crowded, although it seems like it usually is. It was Sunday 16h to 18h. I love it that there is no background noise, no music, they should keep it that way. Personal was super friendly, and meals are the right size. First impressions matter, I will be visiting this place again! Loved it!

Sehr leckeres und qualitativ gutes Essen. Besonders die Schnitzel sind zu empfehlen. Jederzeit schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Der Biergarten ist schön schattig und ein bayerisches Original mit Kastanienbäumen. Für Kinder ist auch etwas geboten und sie werden auch freundlich behandelt. Die Toiletten sind sehr sauber.

Im Biergarten wurde uns ein Platz zugewiesen, da die Hälfte des Gartens gesperrt war, warum auch immer. Teilweise unangenehme Sprüche des Kellners , egal, Essen wie immer lecker.

Leider nur Tiefkühlware und Fertiggerichte. Hier wird meiner Meinung nach kaum etwas Frisches serviert. Nicht zu empfehlen

Habe im Biergarten gegessen, dort war sehr viel los und daher auch relativ lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke und Speisen. Also sollte man, gerade bei schönem Wetter, Zeit mitbringen. Mit Empathie und Toleranz war der Service okay (zu viele Gäste, zu wenig Personal). Essen war auch okay, normale Portionen, normal gewürzt. Zu wenig Parkplätze, aber in den angrenzenden Seitenstraßen ist es möglich zu Parken.

Schnitzel Tag muss man mitnehmen

Wir waren schon öfters im Jägerhaus und es gab immer lecker Essen von sehr freundlichen Bedienungen serviert.

Speziell vor Wochen einen Tisch wegen Geburtstag vorbestellt und reserviert. Einen Tag vorher nochmals beim Juniorchef angerufen. Am Tag des Essens war Tisch nicht reserviert. Es saßen andere Leute dort. Sollten mit unseren über 80jährigen Eltern von der Bedienung in den großen Saal gesetzt werden. Auf vehemente Intervention sollte ich dann das Lokal verlassen. Blieben nur wegen meinem Vater, der sich Wochen darauf gefreut hatte. Sehr laute Atmosphäre.

Leider war der Tafelspitz falsch geschnitten u.daher sehr langfasrig. Schade,weil die Meerrettichsosse zwar wenig aber gut schmeckte.

Gutes Essen, Service auf Spitzenniveau (freundlich, höflich, zuvorkommend, gesprächig und smart!) in freundlicher Atmosphäre. Was will man mehr?

Als ich das letzte mal dort war Roch es nach sauremSenf die Lichterfestgänze waren früher aber lecker. Schade das the Dog I’m Käfig oft eingesperrt ist wie in einem jail. Hauptsache in meinem Dorf ist heile Welt Frühschoppen nach der church genial. Was abraham one ismail wohl davon halten würden wenn kleine Kinder Ketchup mit collibrie backterien essen. Schnitzel war immer lecker Kartoffelsalat manchmal zu salzig mal kucken wie es beim nächsten mal essen dort ist.

Das Restaurant Jägerhaus wurde von mir schon mehrfach im schönen Biergarten oder entsprechend Wetter Innen besucht und genossen. Die Begrüßung freundlich ...das Essen sehr gut ...auch die Speisen meiner Begleitung . Die Preise sind absolut gerechtfertigt und moderat. Ich freue mich auf das Biergarten Wetter im Jägerhaus. Sehr freundlich empfangen. Nur 4 Sterne für Ambiente weil wir im riesig grossen Nebenzimmer Anfangs als einzige Gäste Platz nehmen mussten, da der Hauptgastraum komplett reserviert war. Dafür wurden wir mit dem Essen entschädigt. Geschmacklich hervorragend. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut im Rahmen. Die Gaststätte ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

Hatte ein Schnitzel. Das war an der Unterseite total aufgeweicht. Hätte es eigentlich zurück schicken sollen. Da ich aber eingeladen war wollte ich niemanden brüskieren.

Ich habe den Schwabenteller gegessen der sehr lecker war. Auch die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und das Ambiente ist einfach gemütlich.

Steak war zäh! Schnitzel war flachsig! Gastraum sollte mal wieder gereinigt werden! War nix, aber vielleicht hatten die nur nen schlechten Tag!

Wir waren 16 Personen an 2 Tischen zum Gans essen. Die Gänse wurden vorgeschnitten im Kar serviert, lieblos aufeinander geschichtetes Fleisch, sodass die Kruste der unteren Stücke weich war. Zusätzliche Knödel wurden extra berechnet. Außerdem handelte es sich um tiefgefrorene Gänse aus Polen und nicht um die auf dem Hof freilaufenden Tiere, mit denen praktisch geworben wird. Schade, das hatten wir uns anders vorgestellt.

Gute Preiswerte Küche, nettes und freundliches Servicepersonal, die Gänse und die Enten sind die besten und schmackhaftesten in ganz Augsburg und Umgebung!!! Immer wieder gerne nur zu empfehlen!!
