Sehr schönes Gasthaus mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre und freundlichem Service. Das Essen war lecker, alles war sauber und man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Gerne wieder!

Kleines nettes Lockal. Wir sind bei einer Wanderrunde dort eingekehrt. Freundliche Bedienung. Die Schnitzel wurden hörbar vom Koch geklopft. Ich kann das Gasthaus weiter empfehlen.

Habe Forelle gegessen und die war Grätenfrei und lecker. Haben draußen gesessen. War sehr Ruhig und der Ausblick ist sehr schön.

Eine kleine, aber sehr gemütlich eingerichtete Gaststätte. Etwas abgelegen, aber die Lage ist wunderbar. Die zwei jungen Männer, Betreiber der Gaststätte sind freundlich und die Bestellung wurde zeitnah ausgeführt. Zu meinen Bratkartoffeln muss ich sagen, so wunderbare und leckere Bratkartoffeln habe ich seit Jahren nicht mehr bekommen. Es gibt eine kleine Karte und alles ist schmackhafte Hausmannskost. Wer hier das auch alles genießen möchte, der sollte unbedingt vorab reservieren. Nochmals vielen Dank und weiter so!!!

Das Ephraimhaus ist ein zuckersüßes Restaurant mit ganz wenigen Plätzen was es sehr charmant und heimelig macht.Wir waren zu viert und haben rechtzeitig zur Vorweihnachtszeit reserviert.Was zu empfehlen ist. Die Karte ist klein aber es ist alles frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet. Hanna (Küche) und Anna (Service) sind herzliche und engagierte Chefinen die mit Charme und liebe das Restaurant führen und mit schönem Erzgebirge Nippes ausgestattet haben was nicht kitschig sondern passend zum Erzgebirge gehört.Wir haben uns sehr wohl,gut bedient und willkommen gefühlt. Wir hatte Roulade und die Gänsekeule mit Klößen,sehr lecker und frisch gemacht,auch wenn der Beilagensalat einfach war,war ebenso lecker,zwischendurch hat uns Anna immer mit ihrem Lächeln und einem typischen Erzgebirger Schnäpschen versorgt.hier ist der Vogelbeeren Schnaps zu empfehlen.Im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen,im Restaurant gibt es nur wenige kleine Tische in einen kleinen Raum mit Bar das eine gemütliche Wohnzimmer Atmosphäre mit sich bringt.

Wir waren heute wieder im Ephraimhaus und allen hat es geschmeckt. Toller Service, leckeres Essen - was will man mehr? Aber reserviert, denn dass es dort gut schmeckt, ist bekannt🙂🙃 Wir kommen wieder.

Das Ephraimhaus bietet Wohnzimmeratmosphäre in der kleinen und gemütlichen Gasstube. Der Service durch Anna war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen, zubereitet von Hanna, war sehr lecker. Erzgebirgische Küche frisch zubereitet und reichhaltig. Die Preise sind völlig in Ordnung. Wir können das Ephraimhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Im Winter ist es sinnvoll zu reservieren.

Die Roulade war ein Träumle. Sehr gemütliche Gaststätte.

A small, fine restaurant, unfortunately quite hidden and outside of town.

We went there for dinner today. It's very remote, and without a reservation, it's difficult to get a seat, but we tried it anyway and were lucky. The food was delicious, and the ambiance is also very nice and quaint. However, they only accept cash payments.

What a gem. Run with so much love. Warm, welcoming. Very little space and sooo much choice. Unique. Thank you so much for the wonderful time we were able to spend there.

A beautiful, cozy, and homey restaurant. The food is excellent, all homemade, which is extremely hard to find these days. We had venison, trout, pike, and schnitzel. The portions were perfectly adequate and very reasonably priced for what we received! We went there twice during our vacation, despite making a significant detour. Thanks to the friendly service, and all the best for the future.

Delicious food, but too expensive for the small portions. For a schnitzel that costs €18.90, I expect more on my plate. TOO BAD

A very pretty, rustic, and cozy restaurant, with friendly service and truly delicious food. We would never have found it high above the village without Google Maps. But it was definitely worth the detour!

It's a shame there are only 5 stars; we would give this place at least 10! A truly lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we still got a table and were served quickly and friendly. The quality of the dishes is simply fantastic; you can tell it's hand-crafted, delicious, and generous portions. All in all, a fantastic experience; we'd love to come back!

A very nice little restaurant with a top-notch menu. The pike fillet was very good. We had 22 people there, and everything went perfectly. Everyone was completely satisfied with the service and the food. We'd be happy to go back. We wish you continued success with your restaurant.

A beautifully situated, traditional Erzgebirge inn with a very attractive beer garden. The menu was packed with regional dishes, as well as a wide selection of regional drinks. The service was very polite, and wait times were communicated transparently.

We haven't been there in a long time. And we were very pleasantly surprised. Friendly service, good food, and a perfect atmosphere. At the large tables outside, there are still plenty of people to chat with. And it was very relaxed. The prices are reasonable. And we went for a nice walk afterwards. The forest makes it possible. Go up Friedrichbachweg about 400m, then a forest road branches off to the left. Then continue on this path, which leads counterclockwise around the Ephraimhaus to Mückenbachweg. And then back down to the Eohraimhaus. About an hour for older people. Sturdy shoes and sure footing are essential. And then back into this lovely house. They also have an exceptional selection of cakes.

Well, you had much better times once. Cooking fresh is apparently asking too much. It feels like prices have almost doubled in recent years and the quality of the food has more than halved – and that's with almost no changes to the menu. It's a real shame these days. Think about what you offer and whether you would cook and eat it like that at home. Examples: the "baked mushrooms" (hard as hell and watery inside as hell). Or "3 spears of asparagus (out of season?!) with tongue and hollandaise sauce (from a Tetra Pak?")... Oh dear – it's lacking in the basics, and the deep fryer seems to be the number one kitchen aid for many dishes. It's a real shame that we'll only be getting drinks from you from now on.

I went on a short bike ride with the family today and chose the Ephraimhaus as our destination. I used to really enjoy coming here, but the prices are now putting me off. The service was very friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for the food. It tasted good, of course, but for the price, it should have been almost double. Let me put it this way: you don't pay more for the same thing in a 4-star hotel. Almost €90 for 4 main courses (including 2 children's dishes), 4 drinks, and 3 desserts is simply too much...

The meal costs around €20, but the plate is lovingly and generously filled. I was full.

Super delicious food. A bit on the expensive side, but the quality is really good. The ambiance is lovely and rustic, with lots of wood. The service was quick and very friendly. Overall, you can tell they put a lot of heart into it. I can definitely recommend it. It's just a bit out of the way. And very important: They don't accept card payments (because there's no network), so only cash is accepted, so make sure you bring enough money.

Rustic, yes, beautifully situated in nature, friendly staff, and the food is average. We had a lunch reservation for a larger group and were literally kicked out after 1.5 hours. That's completely unacceptable. We were very disappointed. The kids had to continue eating their ice cream outside, and the others had to finish their drinks outside.

The food was good and the service friendly. Unfortunately, we were asked to leave shortly after lunch and the bill was brought to us without asking because the next party was already planned. It's a shame; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant is located a bit outside of town. The restaurant itself is quite okay. It's a bit cramped inside, but there's also seating outside. The food was excellent.

A very rustic, idyllic inn surrounded by greenery. Peace and relaxation are the order of the day here, and time flies. Down-to-earth, seasonal home cooking, as well as very friendly and helpful staff, round off the overall package. This inn is a real insider tip and always worth a visit. Good luck!

The term “dining room” must have been born here, as the size of the room as well as the coziness it radiates are more like a parlor (approx. 6 tables for four and a tiny counter). Warmth 'en passion welcomes you, from the absolutely harmonious furnishings, designed with attention to detail, to the truly passionate, loving staff, who celebrate truly natural, wonderfully soothing hospitality from the reception to the farewell. Despite all the gushing about the garnish, I definitely don't want to forget to praise the core - the dish itself - as it is the food and drink that primarily draws you to an inn. And in this regard, every movement is actually worth it, because the dishes from the small but carefully chosen selection of dishes that perfectly match the restaurant are excellently fresh and tasty, as well as served lovingly and as a feast for the eyes. Such a well-rounded meal rightly deserves not only a golden service thaler (tip) but definitely this hopefully infectious, well-sounding summary!!!! A heartfelt recommendation!♥️ (P.S. Especially in winter, when no outdoor seating can be used, a binding reservation is recommended due to the "size" of the restaurant, even if the landlady tries very hard to welcome everyone 👍😉)

Nice little excursion and hiker restaurant... Service very friendly, guest room beautifully decorated, typical Erzgebirge... The roulade and the trout were very nicely prepared and tasted excellent... only the schnitzel wasn't that great, the breading was like it was glued on, not a bit fluffy... probably prepared too long... All in all, a nice restaurant that I can definitely recommend

We discovered the inn by chance, called and reserved a table. What I would also recommend, it was a weekend and very well attended. Although the menu doesn't have 20 pages, everyone is sure to find what they're looking for and so far everything has tasted very good. Spaces are limited, so it's best to call and reserve in advance. We called spontaneously on Easter Monday because we were coming from out of town. There was spontaneously something available for us on the terrace, despite the tables inside being fully booked. The weather cooperated and the staff were, as usual, friendly for the region. The food was super fresh and prepared with love. We had schnitzel and matjes, together with the Oberleckeren beer 🍺 really successful! We will be back ! That's for sure. Best regards

After a hike from the upper basin to the Ephraimhaus we were very hungry. We were served very friendly and quickly and the food was also delicious. The dining room is very lovingly furnished and not too big, so it's better to call ahead and reserve a place. There is also a very nice winter garden in the entrance area. I still have childhood memories as I came here with my parents around 40 years ago to enjoy roasted slices (B-Bemmen) with garlic. Many thanks to the team 😀👍🏻
