Nice city hotel, beautiful modern spacious rooms, bathroom OK, breakfast was good.

We ate here twice during a visit to Schwarzenberg. The restaurant's decor is charmingly rustic, typical of the Ore Mountains, just as we wanted and imagined. The food was real home cooking. One day I had the schnitzel with seasoned meat and fried potatoes. A very large portion, very delicious. The other day I had roulade with dumplings and red cabbage, and here too you could tell that everything was 100% homemade. I can't remember having homemade red cabbage in a restaurant in years. The taste, from the sauce to the dumplings, was absolutely superb! If I lived there, we'd be regulars. ;-) PS: I would have liked to know from the chef how the roulade filling was made, as the texture was very interesting, even though you know the ingredients, but this one was somehow special. I liked it. :-)
