Very friendly, attentive staff and delicious food in the cozy, sunny garden. We'd gladly return!

During our stroll through the wildlife park, we worked up an appetite and found this wonderful garden restaurant with extremely friendly owners. A visit is highly recommended!

The Gartenstüble offers a warm, rustic beer garden experience – with fresh, homemade dishes, generous portions, and friendly, personal service. The picturesque location and relaxed surroundings make it particularly appealing – whether for relaxing or as a cozy end to a day trip.

Putting up large signs saying "open" and then it's actually closed isn't customer-friendly.

We were there for the first time yesterday. It's a cozy little snack bar. There was an event going on at the time, but the service was still prompt and the staff very friendly. A truly cozy atmosphere, and the food was also impressive. The perfect way to end a visit to the wildlife park. Thank you for your hospitality.

A very nice little garden restaurant, and the prices are reasonable. However, you can't pay by card, and the wait for a small plate of fries and a sandwich with sausage was over 20 minutes. With a hungry child and a baby, that was quite long for us, even though it wasn't that busy when we ordered. Due to construction work at the wildlife park, the restaurant there was closed, so we had to find a nearby alternative.

Really calm friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We were the only people there at the time we visited. They were really hospitable. Apple waffle and coffee for 6 euros. Prefect!

We were there for the first time today. You immediately feel very welcome. The food was delicious, with generous portions. We had sausage salad and currywurst with fries. The prices are reasonable, even for those on a tight budget.

A garden restaurant with a practical menu and also a lunch menu. A highlight is the covered outdoor area, where grilled food is regularly offered. The dishes are homely and delicious, but a visit is also recommended for hikers who just want a drink.

We were here for the first time today and were very satisfied. The coziness, the friendliness of the hosts and visitors, everything was very informal. Prices were fair and reasonable, everything was very tidy, and the service was super friendly and always prompt. We also enjoyed the beer; the wheat beer even came with a slice of lemon. We only ordered one fries, but they were delicious. There's plenty of parking in front of the door. Dogs are always welcome. I can only recommend it, and we'll be back.

We all enjoyed the food. We had Maultaschen (ravioli) with potato salad, meatballs, fries, and sausage salad. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned. However, we found the portions a bit small. We would have gladly paid more and gotten larger portions. A meatball with some potato salad was enough for a small snack; but it wasn't enough to fill us up for lunch. The owners were friendly, and the seating was lovely in the greenery. They also serve ice cream. It's a great place to take a break from your day trip.

We knew the place from before. It was always very good. New tenant this year. Now more of a snack bar. We arrived on a Sunday around 1:30 p.m. Small menu and two daily specials. First meal sold out, potato salad by the second. We had Swiss sausage salad and asked for fries (not on the menu). On a plate were 2/3 fries and a small portion of sausage salad sprinkled with grated cheese. Other cheeses had also already been sold. My husband's place setting had already been cleared away while I was still eating. There was no biscuit or chocolate with the espresso. We asked if we could take cake away. The waitress said yes. At lunchtime around 2:30 p.m. there were still 4 slices of apple pie, 2 muffins and 1 cheesecake left. We chose 2 apple pie and paid for them with the bill. A short while later the waitress came and told us she would have to give us the money for the cake back. The manager didn't want to sell it like that. She was probably hoping to sell two more cups of coffee. The young woman was very embarrassed and apologized for the supervisor's behavior. That was definitely the last time!

We went to the Gartenstüble for lunch on Sunday. The potato salad was super tasty and we enjoyed both the meat and vegetable dumplings very much😋. Unfortunately there was no more room for the cake, next time we'll start with the cake 😂 Keep it up - we'll definitely be back!

We were looking for an alternative to the Wildpark snack bar and found it here. The food was excellent at fair prices

The food was very good. Freshly made. Good portion. Service took longer but was worth it. The dog barked when we came into the yard, but it wasn't threatening, normal dog behavior.

It's my first time visiting this restaurant and my last time. Even though it was open, there was no one there, no service, instead greeted by an aggressive dog. Even though the innkeeper was there and observed the situation, the innkeeper did nothing. If I could, I would prefer to give zero stars.

The Gartenstüble is run by an old couple, the woman in service and the man in the kitchen. Right at the beginning she told us that it would take a little longer because everything was being made fresh. We have to say, it was really worth the wait! The food was extremely tasty, the spaetzle was homemade and the portions were just right.

Waren nach einem Besuch im Wildpark dort eingekehrt zum Mittagessen. Freundlicher Empfang, prompte Bedienung und Versorgung mit Getränken (was bei der Hitze wirklich super war). Speißekarte war überschaubar, aber wie sich nachher herausstellte, weil alles selbst und frisch zubereitet war! Ich bestellte das Schnitzel mit Pilzrahmsoße, woraufhin ich darauf aufmerksam gemacht wurde, dass es ein bisschen dauern könnte, da die Spätzle erst gemacht werden müssen. Fand ich nett, hätte man es eilig gehabt, hätte man ja noch was anderes bestellen können, aber was soll ich sagen, das Warten hat sich definitiv gelohnt, das Essen war wirklich sehr gut!

Das Essen würde frisch gegrillt und hat lecker geschmeckt

Wir waren vergangenen Samstag nach einem Besuch im Pforzheimer Wildpark spontan im Gartenstüble - Familie Seitz eingekehrt. Wer ein nobles Restaurant erwartet, ist hier definitiv an der falschen Stelle. Wir waren anfangs zugegebenermaßen auch etwas skeptisch, wurden aber in allen Bereich positiv überrascht. Der Biergarten ist eingezäunt und bietet viel Platz zum Spielen für kleine Kinder; Spielsachen sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Preise sind unschlagbar und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Besonders gefreut hat uns die Spontanität des Besitzers, der uns "Cordon Bleu-Liebhabern" kurzerhand angeboten hatte, statt panierten Schnitzeln auch Cordon Bleu anzubieten. Das Fleisch war saftig, der Käse hat richtig schöne Fäden gezogen und der Schinken war würzig. Alles in allem ein sehr leckeres Cordon Bleu! Das muss definitiv auf der Speisekarte stehen, wenn wir das nächste Mal vorbeikommen. ;-)

Familiäre Atmosphäre, Hausmannskost Wer es mag, ist hier richtig. Und Ruhe und frische Luft!

Das Essen war sehr gut, besonders das Steak „Café de Paris“. Gute Preise. Im Sommer kann man herrlich draußen sitzen und im Winter gemütlich drin mit teilw. Blick auf Pforzheim. Netter Wirt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hier kann man sehr gut essen. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Familienfeiern sind hier super.

Könnte etwas aufgeräumter sein. Mückenfriedhof unter den Heizkörpern.

Wir waren zu sechst zum brunchen bei den Gartenfreunden. Man muss sich dafür anmelden damit genügnd Essen vorbereitet werden kann. Pro Person werden 14,90 € berechnet. Kaffee endlos ist inbegriffen. Das Essen war gut hergerchtet. Feinstes Geschirr sollte nicht erwartet werden, ist schließlich kein Nobelrestaurant sondern die Gartenfreunde. Es war meiner Meinung nach alles vorhanenn was man zu einem Früstück gerne mag. Eine klieinen 'Störfaktor' gab es zwar mit einer Kaffekanne, dies konnte jedoch durch ein Gespräch mit dem Betreiber beseitigt werde, welcher sich für den Hinweis bedankte. Zum Mittagessen stehen zwei Gerichte bereit. Ich habe mich für Szegediner Gulasch entschieden. Das Fleisch war zart und das Kraut würzig. Sehr lecker. Das Menü variert. Alles iin Allem zu empfehlen.

Essen war nicht so der Hit, Getränke nachbestellen nicht wirklich möglich. Dafür, dass nur etwa zehn Personen in der Gaststätte waren, traurig.

Beste Alternative zur Mensa. Für Studenten gibt es sogar eine täglich wechselnde Speisekarte und der Koch bereitet alles frisch zu. Auf jeden Fall das Curry probieren
