I like to eat pho with beef or chicken. Chilis and lime can also be added upon request. Bun bo nam bo is also recommended. The location is a bit rough on the main street, but it's easy to reach by tram.

Horrible. Just the worst food ever. I went there twice, and the second time I was there to show a friend how unbelievably bad the food was. The beef pho has all the bad quality beef foam floating on top, covering the view and the aroma and the taste of anything else in that dish. Tofu jelly is just frozen Asian market tender tofu plus really chemical syrup that is hard to swallow. AND that youtiao (fried bean curd), OMG, so hard to chew and unflavoured. It was such a nightmare that I still gagged passing by this place. I can't believe this restaurant has 4.4/5. Like are the good reviews even real?

Just paid 20 Euro for a bowl of soggy spaghetti and a bottle of water. I did NOT order spaghetti, but Ramen. Super disgusting! Service is non-existing and the atmosphere is loud, noisy, and smelly.

The drink has just the right taste, not too sweet. Happy and sociable staff😍😍

Probably the best Vietnamese Bistro in town as it doesn't offer any of the cliché food which you find at other Vietnamese bistros. For instance, it is one of the few places in Berlin to serve Chao Ga rice porridge. I can also vouch for their weekly-changing offers. Have never been really disappointed with the food there.

Good Vietnamese food at fair prices.

This place is very close to my house but never considered it before today. I gave it a go and was so pleasantly surprised! The curry was especially delicious, pho could be more tasty but meat was tender. The staff is polite and the atmosfere neat and clean. Will definitely visit again for the curry!

Nice bistro with Vietnamese food. The food was delicious, the service was nice. We had a short wait for our meal. I recommend! If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to come back.

This is perhaps the most terrible bubble tea I've ever tried, it felt like soap and salt were accidentally poured into it, although it was supposed to be sweet 🫠 I also ordered food, but in the end it was completely different from what was in the picture and it was impossible to eat, this is the first time in my life that I couldn’t even eat even a little bit 😓 I’m shocked how this place got so many stars. ! I can’t say anything bad about the service, but as a connoisseur of Asian cuisine I strongly do not recommend this establishment

Very crowded and loud. More for walk-in customers. But very good food for comparatively little money. Modern Vietnamese-Berlin cuisine. Fascinating and easy to reach with various trams and not far from the city center. Very good and clear menu above the counter!

A very nice Vietnamese restaurant for quick consumption. Conveniently located at the Landsberger Allee/Petersburger Str. tram junction, you can eat delicious dishes quickly and cheaply or take them away. Me and my son really enjoyed the food. The Vytal reusable tableware is also available to take away, very good! We come to eat here more often now, it's a new favorite restaurant of ours.

The Pho used to be really authentic. Now there is the same fusion uniformity here as everywhere else. Apparently the owner has to do that too, because the German only eats what he knows

- The shop is spacious, clean, simple design does not cause dizziness, very professional. - Location right next to M6, M10 tram, very convenient -Place your food at the cashier counter and then bring the food yourself. Condiments such as garlic vinegar and chili pepper sauce are placed very neatly and look very hygienic and easy for customers to serve themselves. - The staff is very nice and cares about customers. The food is as shown in the picture, beautifully decorated: - Hue beef noodle soup: 8/10, the accompanying vegetable plate should have more lemon so customers don't have to ask. - Chicken porridge: 7/10, I like the smoothness of the porridge but I think the flavor is still lacking a bit. - Bread pan: 6.5/10 because the sauce is not thick and the stir-fried beef is a bit salty, the pate has no clear Vietnamese taste, the toast is crispy and fragrant - The peach milk tea offered by the staff is quite delicious, but I only give it a 7/10 because it's a bit bland, the ground peaches are ok at first, but later it's a bit bitter, I feel like it lacks the taste of the peach tea and peach syrup. If there is any, then will smell better. Next time I will try another milk tea dish because the new shop has a milk tea menu. 👁️This is just my personal feeling after visiting the restaurant for the first time, and everyone has a different taste that everyone should come and experience. ♥️ Wishing GAO will continue to improve and develop further ♥️

Courteous service, you order and get the food, you get a tracker that beeps when the food is ready to be picked up. Lots of Asian people who ate there, I felt like I was in Vietnam, I would love to come back

Update Feb 2024: I have to give GAO credit. They read my negative review about a decline in quality, they responded courteously, and promised to check their quality. Turns out they actually followed through: GAO is smashing it with their Pho broth now and returned to their former fantastic flavor. The Banh Mi sandwiches are also amazing. With a wonderfully spiced pate, zesty pickled carrots and onions, and deliciously marinated pork slices. Welcome back to my regular restaurant rotation GAO!

The food was plentiful but tasteless. If you don't feel like offering vegetarian dishes, it's better not to do so instead of simply slapping on unseasoned tofu.

I went here to eat with my wife before the concert. We received a friendly and courteous welcome here and the food was really tasty. Price-performance was also okay here. So a clear recommendation to take a look here.

We planned our team lunch there and everyone was really excited. Everything is very fresh and crunchy... prepared quickly, so perfect for your lunch break! That wasn't the last time I was there.

3 von 3 Takeouts waren leider das falsche essen. Entweder komplett andere Gerichte oder, wie heute z.B. Tofu statt Rindfleisch. Vor ort hatte ich das Problem bisher noch nicht. und das essen ist generell sehr lecker, aber besser wenn man das bekommt was man bestellt hatte. Rückgabe ist durch begrenzte Mittagspausenzeit leider keine Option gewesen

Das Essen ist hier immer gut. Hatte Hühnchen mit Nudeln, Nummer sowieso keine Ahnung mehr, und dazu summer rolls. Gibt dazu auch einige vegetarische Gerichte. Hab zum mitnehmen bestellt. Man kann aber auch hier essen. Innen recht stylisch gemacht. Draußen an der Straße aber richtig laut. Würde mich aber nicht stören. Essen lecker, gerne wieder.

Ein richtig gutes authentisches vietnamesisches Restaurant nähe Landsberger Allee! Hier gibt es neben Sojasoße auch Fischsoße zum würzen was ich sonst noch nirgendwo im Restaurant gesehen habe! Der Service könnte freundlicher sein.

Insgesamt okey, ne solide Schulnote gut. Ambiente halt entsprechend demm Konzept eines Selbstbedienungsrestaurants. Breite der Auswahl ok, ich brauche keine 50 Posten auf der Speisekarte. Ich hatte das Hähnchen Curry. Das war eher durchschnittlich, leider nicht ganz heiß ( angewärmte Teller vermeiden das 😉). Ich glaube mit TK Gemüse. Personal sehr freundlich. Preislich für meinen Geschmack eher knapp drüber.

Modernes Ambiente, leckerer Reisnudelsalat. Beim meinem Freund war das Fleisch allerdings trocken und die Portionsgröße recht klein. Die Mitarbeiter:innen wirkten kühl und distanziert. Insgesamt zu teuer für das Angebot, da gibt es in Berlin einfach bessere Adressen.

Das Banh Mi Chicken ist durchaus schmackhaft. Sehr gutes Baguette. Die anderen Speisen, wie das Bun Nam Bo oder das Mien Tron sind dagegen nicht zu empfehlen: überzuckert, teuer, viel zu süß. Beim Bun Nam Bo war das Fleisch kalt und die Soße warm. Service ist häufig unfreundlich und abweisend.

...für mich ab jetzt auf der Favoritenliste wenn es um leckere Ramen in der Nähe von Landsberger und vom Velodrom geht. Aber auch eine längere Anfahrt würde sich lohnen. Brühe war kräftig u schmackhaft und der Rest ebenso😋👍

Bought the tofu summer roll didn’t like it the veggies tasted weird, the tofu ramen were also not that good too much veggies that tasted weird but the egg was good

Sehr leckeres vietnamesisches Restaurant, das einen großen Innen- und Außenbereich hat. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten, darunter die sehr leckere Ramen-Suppen, aber auch Reisgerichte. Die Zubereitung ist schnell und die Qualität immer hervorragend. Elektronische Zahlung ist möglich. Es gibt ein Bonus-Kartensystem, bei dem man bei der 10. Bestellung einen Rabatt von 10€ erhält - Super! Das Lokal eignet sich auch sehr gut für ein gesundes Mittagessen während der Mittagspause, da die Wartezeiten kurz sind.

Kassiererin ist einfach so unfreundlich. Nie wieder und nicht empfehlenswert.

Incredibly delicious food made fresh and super fast, impressive place. Newly Renovated! Look super nice inside, very modern. Very happy with everything we get. They’re also available on Wolt and yeah everything is consistent and delicious across the board. Honestly it’s a great place and I highly recommended check this place out. Try the Com Curry with Sautéed Beef and the rice soup with crispy bread are all amazing dishes. And of course you cannot go wrong with the Bahn Mi, very yummy! Can’t wait to be back again. Tolle Ramen, leckeres Essen und faire Preise!

Geschmacklich leider lasch. Tofu Banh Mi war nicht wirklich mariniert aber dafür sehr weich. Generell hat einfach der Geschmack und der „wow-lecker“ Effekt gefehlt. Die Rippchen waren auch nicht besonders im Geschmack. Alles eher etwas fad. Genauso war auch der Service. Ein Lächeln und freundliches „Hallo“ kosten nichts!

Das Essen war leider hinter den Erwartungen kaum gewürzt, die Saure Suppe war ok, die Rippchen ok aber nichts wirkliches gutes

This is the classic corner place that solves your hangover when you barely feel like living. Bahn mí very good, they accept card payment and are friendly, fast, with few frills. Seating is super limited, so consider takeout ( especially in summer great to eat in the park). Extra tip: get the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Averange spend: €10/15 per person

Pho war wirklich sehr sehr gut!

Ich war mit einer Freund zum Lunch spontan da, weil ich Lust auf ein Banh Mi hatte. Das Brot war fluffig und knusprig, das Banh Mi war gut gefüllt mit der Paté, Fleisch und Gemüse. Es schlägt zwar nicht meinen Lieblingsladen, aber durchaus eine sehr gute Alternative. Meine Freundin hatte den Klebreis, auch sehr lecker. Allgemein ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ein netter Service. Gerne mal ausprobieren!

Der Laden ist sehr klein, aber gemütlich. An vielen Vietnamesischen Spezialitäten hat man hier die Auswahl. Essen schmeckt lecker. Preise sind aber wirklich sehr hoch für ein solches Lokal. 8€ für Banh Mi, 11€ für Bun Cha und 3,5€ für ein Getränk ist für Restaurants ok, aber nicht für ein Self-Service Imbiss um die Ecke. Aber wenn der Preis egal ist, dann ist es ansonsten empfehlenswert.
