I had a terrible experience eating at this restaurant. The prices are expensive, the meat is frozen, the vegetables are not fresh, there are very few side dishes that you have to pay for, although in other Korean restaurants they are free and homemade. The frozen beef is only for hot pot, can it also be grilled? No dipping sauce? The staff is even worse, not even a smile, at the next table the staff dropped food on the customer, not even a word of apology, the manager was busy arguing with the staff and did not apologize to the customer. The first and last time.

Great place for Korean BBQ. However, portions are not very large and the variety of vegetables, sauce and herbs is quite minimal. Expected much more from it. Tables do have their own integrated BBQ, nicely done. Staff is friendly but speaks limited English.

Despite reservations, we were seated at a table right next to the toilets, even though many other tables were free. Ordering via the QR code did not work properly - orders from other guests were displayed on the page. Therefore we were told to place our order directly with the “manager”. Unfortunately the menu came before the starter. After a long wait, we asked as nothing was being served - apparently the starter had been forgotten. The taste of the food was okay, but not convincing for the price. In addition, raw meat and raw king prawns were served together on one plate. The shrimp also came with heads, even though the menu said “headless.” When we paid we were charged an additional starter. We noticed this and didn't make a good impression either. Overall the visit was disappointing - we expected more.

Definitely not! The fried chicken was okay, but for €19!! absolutely exaggerated. The vegetarian chicken had a little more flavor but for €21 and without a side dish, outrageous. Ambience is nice, order via app, pay at the counter, no service whatsoever. We were disappointed, save your money.

Went there today and reserved a table for 7 people. We also received it directly. So the food and drinks were very tasty but the waiters aren't good in German, so some of them are. So nothing against them. They are all very correct. The drink is a bit very sweet but that's okay

We were so looking forward to our first visit to a Korean restaurant and the good rating at first glance made me change my mind. 1) At the reception the "restaurant manager" seemed quite unfriendly and unmotivated. Assigned us a table that was theoretically still occupied. So we kicked out the other guests...a no-go! 2) It was not explained to us in any way that the order was only taken online. When we called the waitress, we were looked at blankly. Finally the really nice young woman took everything down by hand, disappeared...after a while she came back and said that payment was only possible in CASH?! Ok... So we ordered online again.... 3) we ordered barbecue with beef. In our opinion, the menu contains far too few side dishes for 2 (!) people and for the price. 3 salads (one tablespoon each), lettuce leaves for wrapping (not enough and tiny), sauce and spices, 2 slices of zucchini, 2 slices of carrot, half an onion, 2 thin pieces of pepper, 2 half mushrooms...Dessert 3 small rice cakes (why 3 for 2 people?????) Without additional side dishes (we had 2* rice and kimchi) you will hardly be full. However, the meat was good and overall a pretty cool experience. The homemade iced teas were delicious. 4) to pay we went back to the “Restaurant Manager” Mr. KAMAL: I can only agree with many opinions here: ✔️ Unfriendly ✔️ No “were you satisfied?” ✔️The EC terminal is put down without a word. When I didn't understand that there was an option to enter a "tip", he got angry. I apologized...when the payment stopped, it was completely over. I said, please don't be so unfriendly (in German and English) ....NO REACTION!!!! CONCLUSION: The food and experience was OK, overall far too expensive for what you get. Staff extremely questionable!!!! We will NOT be coming back!!!!

Unfortunately, the quality of the meat does not justify the tourist price charged here. The menus are given for 2 people but are not enough at all. It's just enough for one person. Side dishes for the menu include some lettuce and measly little things. For 62 euros, menu 3 with probably 200g of old gray meat and 4 pieces of vegetables. The Korean Fried Chicken is probably better anywhere. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this shop because you'd probably rather go to Düsseldorf for Korean.

You expect a nice, authentic Korean restaurant, and then you're entertained by pop music all evening! Far from Korean flair, in my opinion. Far too overpriced for the rather mediocre food; I sent almost everything back. Now they're trying to report me to Google for defamation, but unfortunately, this isn't slander; I'm just sharing my opinion here. Of course, I have photos and a reservation confirmation.

I had a great time, the grill system is original and ingenious, the service is very fast and the dish was very good, the beef was of very good quality.

The food was very tasty and the price was also very fair. I have to deduct a star because grease somehow leaked from our grill and in the evening I had a huge grease stain on the bottom of my pants and on my new suede shoes... This is why you wear old clothes even if you want to please your partner :)

Wo soll man anfangen... Kleineres Lokal, Bedienung okay, Abzugshauben unbrauchbar, Essen unterraschend. Wir haben das Korean BBQ gehabt und Menu 2 ausgewählt. Wie auf den Bildern sieht es dann aber nicht aus. Fleisch okay, Gemüse war lächerlich wenig für jeden eine Zucchinischeibe, eine Paprikascheibe und ein Pilz den man sich teilen musste. Auch die weiteren Beilagen und Salatblätter waren ein Witz. Ist ja in Ordnung das man nicht so verschwenderisch mit Lebensmitteln umgeht, aber das waren vllt. 1 EL von je 3 Beilagen für 2 Personen. Außerdem haben dann noch Beilagen gefehlt. Für 2€ Reis bestellt, der dann auch in einer winzigen Schüssel kam. Letztendlich isst man eigentlich nur Fleisch mit wenig Beilagen. Und für den Preis ist dass dann schon frech, man geht definitiv hungrig aus dem Laden, wenn man nicht noch Beilagen nach bestellt. Was wir nicht gemacht haben, weil die Beilagenpreise sehr teuer sind. 150€ für 4 Personen und wir sind nicht satt geworden. Und man geht mit duftender Kleidung nachhause. Hier kommen wir nicht nochmal hin!

The slightly different restaurant... Nice concept in itself, but partly. poorly implemented. When you enter, you immediately notice a strong smell because the food is fried directly at the table. There are also suction systems at the tables, but this means that taller people cannot sit properly at the table. Service was nice and friendly. The meat and scampi were of good quality, but side dishes had to be ordered separately. Too expensive for what is on offer and the fact that you “cook” yourself. Next time it's better to go to a steakhouse, then you won't smell like the kitchen afterwards.

Unfortunately, service is unable to explain the concept. Drink selection very limited. Clothes and hair then smell very strongly of grease. We won't be coming back and won't recommend it either. Too narrow, there was no space between the tables and you sat back to back with the person sitting next to you. It gets difficult when the staff doesn't understand you in English either. The waiter (of Indian descent?!?) who cleared the tables neither understood that we would like to cover the grill nor the question about dessert. Drinks bottles were simply taken away, even though there were still leftovers in them. There is no dessert available online except Moscatel wine. And yesterday there was probably only mochi ice cream (5€). It came wrapped in plastic, fresh from the freezer. Overall, unfortunately, everything from the service to the presentation was unloving. I've experienced better quality overall for the price (€127, 2 people). Too bad.

The store was so hectic and the staff were not well trained, so everything from ordering food to setting up and cooking took a really long time. I didn't even know how to change the butane gas, so it was really dangerous, but when I asked to call another employee, I was completely embarrassed when the employee said no and couldn't even set it up. At the time, the other reservation team couldn't get in, so they waited outside for a long time and ended up getting angry, but I don't think there was any need to come here and eat Korean food. The meat smells and the rice is very tough. Ah... it was such a waste of time and money.

We are regulars at this restaurant and have always enjoyed the food, it is consistently good. However, we repeatedly had problems with an employee named Mr. KAMAL. During our last visit, my aunt - who was visiting from abroad and doesn't speak German - told him she would give a €3 tip for a €120.70 food bill. Nevertheless, without her understanding, he entered a €9 tip into the card reader, taking advantage of the language barrier. It's not the first time he's pressured us to tip more. This is very disappointing and unprofessional. We hope the management will take this seriously.

We would have liked to have been guests at Gangnam Style again today. We really enjoyed the food (chicken, especially teriyaki mayo) and the rosé tteokbokki last time. Service was very friendly. Well...The gentleman at reception/seating today neither greeted us nor communicated clearly in any other way. Everything was probably reserved or fully booked, although there were many free tables visible at the time. But of course, it could be that in 20/30 minutes everything will be full with reservations from 6 p.m. This could have been communicated much friendlier and more clearly. But the gentleman was more interested in playing with the paper in his hand. We then went to the Downtowner around the corner. 😉 There is always friendly service and very good food.

Good place to have Korean BBQ, nice meat mixes. Works like in Korea, with a bell on the table. The Korean fried chicken is really great. The only weird thing was that the gas bottle was really in an awkward place, which makes you sit a bit strangely at the table. In addition, the tongs to fry the meat are really too short, so you really have to use a lot of force. Good price quality!

The restaurant is cramped and filled with smoke and the smell of burning oil. Your clothes smell terrible after visiting this restaurant. The service isn't polite. The price-performance ratio isn't right.

A really nice place, has a nice ambiance. Easy to order options, has a decent variety of options for selection. The food is really delicious as well as the experience for BBQ-ing yourself makes it really nice time to spend with your friends/family. A reservation shall definitely be done considering the popularity of this place.

First time at Korean BBQ – and I was immediately impressed! The concept? Like raclette, only Korean and without cheese. Perfect for meat lovers, less so for vegetarians and vegans (grilled vegetables just don't fill you up!). The best part: You do the grilling yourself! The table has a built-in grill, the meat is served, the grill is turned on – and off you go. If you're unsure, just look at the screens with grilling instructions. Brilliant! One small drawback: A little more oil and salt would have been good, ideally right on the table. But no matter – it was a fantastic experience! The only catch: After the meal, you smell like you've grilled yourself. So, don't make any big plans for afterward!

Rarely eaten so chaotically, disorganized with 3 adults and 1 child. Side dishes and oil only came when the meat was already on the grill. 90% of the staff spoke neither German nor English. We paid €180, the exhaust air is really bad, it blows on your neck, but you're completely in the haze. All the clothes smell like you've been frying in the kitchen for hours. This is the “Gangnam style”. This has as much to do with Korean BBQ as Santa Claus has with Easter. And guys, buy a set of clothes for €5 at KIK before visiting. The store has no exhaust ventilation, so you can simply throw away the cheap clothes after a visit. No washing machine can get the smell out. 😅

Staff hardly speaks German. NOT barrier-free despite telephone inquiries! Stairs at the entrance, no ramp, no elevator. Wheelchair users have no chance. Miserable exhaust air. The whole store was enveloped in thick smoke. Food was good.

We had a reservation for a table. When we arrived, we were told that the table would be ready in 10 minutes. The 10 minutes turned into 30 minutes in which we had to keep asking the "manager" about it (we had to ask for four times and he still was surprised every time we ask and didn’t recognize us). In the meantime, walk-in customers were accepted and assigned to tables. The manager in particular (recognizable by his proudly worn name tag) is just extremely unfriendly and overwhelmed. When we got to the table, we were only referred to the digital menu. The grill was not turned on, no further explanations, nothing... Overall, chaos reigned. You could hear discussions at almost every other table because food was not brought or was brought incorrectly, etc. The focus here again was the manager, who was hard to beat in terms of unfriendliness towards his customers. Not a pleasant atmosphere for an evening. Our meat was OK. But for €60 per person (and we only had one drink each) you can eat better in other restaurants. After the disappointment, I wouldn't go there again. As other reviews have already made clear, I too cannot understand the overall very good rating based on our experience. Worst experience with a restaurant I ever had.

Eating bland, like fast food (had fried chicken) - taste ok. Organization of the restaurant is poor. Waited 25 minutes for a reserved table (who plans like that?) Our bus boy tried very hard and that's why he got the 1 star. I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it. After that, it's best not to go anywhere else because you smell like fried meat from top to bottom...😑

Rarely have I experienced such a poor price-performance ratio. Paid 180 euros for 3 people for a bottle of water, an iced tea per person, 3 starters that all came from the freezer, and a barbecue for 2 people (which the three of us shared) that was really not good. We probably just didn't grill it very well, but we also didn't get much instruction. Never again for 60 euros per person!

I had a great experience at this Korean restaurant. The atmosphere is calm and cozy – perfect for relaxing and enjoying good food. The food was served quickly and was simply delicious. The portions are very generous - I couldn't finish all of mine and ordered the rest to go. I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews. Why only one star? We ordered this BBQ menu for 2 and the Korean BBQ Fried Chicken. This grill plate was a disgrace. On it there were counted 2 mushrooms, 2 pepper slices, 2 dried carrot slices. The disks were so dried out that they were as flexible as rubber. What little meat there was was already oxidized when it arrived on the table - together with the dried-out rubber carrots and the stingy pieces of vegetables, it was a ridiculous sight. 1 mushroom, a slice of pepper and 1 slice of carrot per person. The platter that was ordered for 2 people is perhaps enough for half a person. And the Korean BBQ Fried Chicken with 8 pieces of fries was served cold. The meat was dry and tasteless despite the spicy sweet sour sauce. Charging €75 for both dishes is theft. The service was visibly annoyed and unfriendly. There was thick smoke in the restaurant itself and poor ventilation. The fat grill machinery under the tables made it very difficult to sit at one of the chairs at the table. The poor and disappointing quality of the dishes alone is more than enough reason to only give one star. But in addition to the bad food and the overpriced, the service also made us feel unwanted because of its unfriendliness. Never again.

The quality of the food was top, but extremely expensive. There were 5 of us and we had reserved in advance. Many things that were ordered were forgotten and only finally served when asked. The dishes we didn't order, which we then ate, cost us an additional €100. Something like that shouldn't happen. (With so many people you can lose track of who ordered what, but the waiter should actually keep track). We won't go there again.

As unauthentic as it gets. First time ever seeing gochujang served as a condiment. Slabs of meat sliced, no marinade or proper seasoning available. Pricey and staff unfriendly, bordering on rude when not getting tipped. If you value the real thing, go elsewhere.

We celebrated my friend’s birthday here. We ordered two BBQ Menu 3 to share and some other dishes. The food is okay, fried chicken, kimchi and wakame are pretty good, the bbq menu is fine, but nothing extraordinary. Very expensive for just a few pieces of meat. The staff is super rude, they have zero competence in customer service, we got yelled at for ordering from 2 different QR codes. Some dishes were missing as well, and when I asked them, they literally ignored me multiple times. Very bad service I must say. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all, just because of the bad service, there are way better korean restaurants with friendlier people.

The ventilation concept urgently needs to be revised... Yes, of course you smell like barbecue, but to that extent it was disgusting... The food was great, but definitely only again when I'm not wearing a winter coat, which needs a foundation stone afterwards 😅

There was a steam vent, but it was recirculated and more homeopathic. The whole restaurant had a good level of smoke the whole time we were there and was also too cold at the same time, so some of us had jackets on the whole time. In addition, the prices were quite high. For an additional portion of meat (200g) you could pay from €20 for pork belly to €32 for rump steak/entrecote. It wasn't bad food, but it wasn't appropriate for the price. There were also half a mushroom, half an onion and a few zucchini and carrot slices as side vegetables for our menu for 2 people.

The food tasted good, especially the corn dog. But unfortunately the 2-person menu (4-person menu in the photo) is only enough for 1. For me personally, the price could have included a few side dishes and more salad leaves. There is hardly any space on the tables themselves and unfortunately there is no legroom either. Since we knew how it works in a Korean restaurant, we knew how calling the service and ordering digitally works, but we found that a small card with explanations would have brought less effort and more clarity for everyone, you can't assume that everyone knows directly how it works there. There were also instructions on how to use the grill. Finally, we were asked somewhat harshly whether we were ready because the table had been reserved. No problem at all, but something like that is actually said at the beginning: e.g. "You have 2 hours". Once you sit down and eat, that's absurd. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the food very much.

The food was delicious but there were no side dishes for the BBQ other than those described on the menu. There was also not enough oil for the grill and not enough sauce served. The service was okay, a bit impersonal as the order was placed via mobile phone and the staff seemed a bit understaffed. Everything was there quickly but hectic and the explanation about the BBQ was more of a casual thing than the food was put out. The biggest drawback was the ambience, as the tables were far too small and the entire store was a smokehouse. Afterwards, you felt bad sitting down on the public transport because you could already smell the smoke in your nose and all your clothes could be put in the laundry. Overall, I wouldn't go there again for the Korean BBQ experience but I can have done it once.

Low level service and slow response

Very inattentive and unfriendly staff. There is no response at all to the bell at the table, and if you somehow make eye contact you are ignored. After mentioning it several times, a single bowl of rice was only brought after half an hour. When paying at the front, a friend (Korean) was *laughing* referred to as Kim Jong Un because of his figure and hairstyle. When I asked him what that was about, he continued to laugh and didn't even apologize. The food was okay but the portions weren't particularly large. You get a drink on the house if you rate it 5 stars. I don't know how many of the reviews are legitimate.

The meat was very good. I wouldn't eat chicken again. There was too much sauce. But the tempura shrimps. When we were there there was very little going on. The same popular song played all evening. You can eat here once, but not the second time. Wasn't anything special.

The quality of the food was okay but it was insanely expensive compared to comparable restaurants. In addition, the door didn't close properly, so a cold breeze was blowing through the shop the whole time. Maybe we would have been better off ordering the “ready-made” dishes. That looked okay. I can only advise against BBQ :(

Cool. I never thought I would be so full with just one plate. (Veggi Teriyaki BBQ). But there is also a lot of mayo in it. Leoder only offers Kölsch beer.

So if you don't eat meat it's really not the best choice. I will never go there again because it was too expensive for what I got! I think 19 euros for exactly 5 shrimps is really excessive but teokkboki was very tasty 😋 although 19€ I think is too much for it. The positive thing for me was definitely magkolli, really tasty.

I honestly think the food is overpriced for the small portions and you had to order side dishes like rice separately. So it's honestly not that great value for money, but all in all it's still okay.

The meat is too thin. Other people left the same review, but when I went there in person, the amount was really small for the price. The taste is okay, but the set menu is for 2 people and the amount is enough for a woman to eat alone. And since I grilled meat without a smokehouse, ventilation was a problem. The inside is filled with smoke. It is not comfortable.

First we were greeted in a rather unfriendly manner by an annoyed employee, then we were allowed to sit down at our table, which had not been properly wiped clean. In my many years of professional experience, I have never experienced such poor and inattentive service. The waiter's questions are ignored, and then the food comes and you have to take care of the cutlery yourself because the service skillfully ignores you. The food was nothing too special, everything tasted well, but the portions were small. After waiting a long time for someone despite pressing the button at the table, we had to pay at the entrance on our own. We won't visit this place again because of the poor service.

Wir waren mit der Familie anlässlich eines Berufsabschlusses inbfiesem koreanischen Restaurant. Die verschiedenen Speisen waren alle von guter Qualität,sehr lecker und preislich in Ordnung. Leider hat das Restaurant keine gute Abluft so dass alle Klamotten sofort in die Erscheinung müssen und diese Gerüche auch beim Essen stören. Die Eingangstüre ist deshalb auch immer offen. Der Service kann nur Englisch ist ist recht unkommunikativ. NEIN, WIR KOMMEN NICHT WIEDER.

Wow, just wow 😍. We were there for the first time and absolutely loved it. The order was placed very quickly using a QR code on the smartphone. You could order via your smartphone and a short time later everything was on the table. The service staff is very attentive. The sanitary facilities are very clean and nicely decorated. The whole place is nice and cozy. The quality of the food is convincing 👍🏽. Very tasty, we will definitely be back.

The overpriced fried chicken was on the table after 5 minutes and was heavy in the stomach later. It was stuffy in the restaurant and the clothes smelled of grease from the exhaust air from the open table grills. Only one employee spoke German.

Very disappointing, the restaurant is not reflecting the high review note. The fried chicken was uneatable, our clothes smelled the kitchen odors when we got out and the waiters were careless. It took them 20 minutes at the cash counter to finalize the bill of another table. We has requested sparkling water (on the ordering app) and the waiter brough still water. We requested cutlery to a waiter and it took so long that another customer (who was waiting the 20 minutes behind our table) took 2 sets of cutlery from the bar and gave it to us, so that we could start to eat. Bad experience.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately very little and relatively expensive. Given the quantity, I could have eaten the €70 grill plate for two people by myself. There were hardly any side dishes and you had to order everything separately. Other restaurants definitely do this better. The staff was friendly and quick, but only spoke English. The crickets were clean and easy to use, unfortunately there is no ventilation system, which means that the clothes smell appropriate after the visit.

We were very disappointed! Very bland food, the room was completely full of smoke (after the visit you can shower and wash all your clothes straight away) and the prices for fried frozen food (fried chicken with sticky fries) are completely unreasonable. The bulgogi was basically a thin broth with fatty pieces of meat, the glass noodles advertised on the menu were nowhere to be found. First and last visit.

I'd rather unpack my own grill at home. Totally overpriced and hardly any side dishes, perceived as an uncomfortable quick turnaround and such poor ventilation that we ended up sitting in a draft and still smelled like a grill. No, thank you never again.

It was cold because the door had to be open, the service wasn't particularly nice, communication was only possible in English, it was cramped, the typical Korean sauces were only available minimally and had to be reordered, and side dishes were also minimal, but for Another 5€ per portion could of course be reordered...drinks overpriced and soft drinks only in 0.2... Well, we won't be coming back.

Das essen war völlig in Ordnung, aber das Gesamtergebnis eher negativ. Es war super eng und laut zudem noch kalt, weil ständig die Tür auf sein musste, die Kellner waren unfreundlich, eine Kommunikation ist nur auf Englisch möglich, alles muss extra bestellt werden, dazu zu völlig überteuerten Preisen. Extra Salat hat zb 2€ gekostet, von den typisch koreanischen Saucen gab es nur eine und davon auch nur minimal. Also wir kommen nicht wieder.

Definitely a recommendation. The food was delicious, the service was nice and quick. The prices are suitable for a Korean BBQ. The smoke vent was also cool, very well designed and you don't really smell anything from the grilling on your clothes.

Unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The food wasn't necessarily bad, but the selection was small and the taste was unspectacular. The meat had a lot of tendons and there was hardly any sauce with it. The atmosphere wasn't great due to the poor ventilation (totally smoky place) and the tables that were MUCH too small. After the visit you definitely have to take a shower and wash your clothes.

The grills stink and the air is ventilated through a window. In winter it gets cold. Small portions for the price. Unfriendly service.

The food tasted very good, the selection wasn't too long. Great for two people, but also possible for more. I think there is something to be said for the price/performance ratio, but it certainly depends on the location. It was a little too cold in the restaurant.

We booked a table on the website and received confirmation of the reservation, but when we visited the establishment, there was no reservation. The establishment itself is not bad, good service, delicious food. Minus: the tables are located very close because of this it is very noisy, the hoods do not work very well.

I was here a year or two ago and I was positively impressed. The waiters were really nice and friendly and the food was great, but this has changed drastically. I was there again recently and am disappointed with what this place has become. The menu has changed a lot and many dishes have been removed, which I find very sad. I had the original Korean Fried chicken + sweet chilli Korean fried chicken. It was dry and the chicken tasted cheap. In itself, it felt like the quality of the ingredients had dropped drastically even though the prices had actually risen and unfortunately there is even more to complain about. The waiters were unfriendly and completely unmotivated and when I wanted to pay the cashier urged me to give him a tip. I'm really disappointed with what this restaurant has become. No longer recommended for the price and service.

The food is okay, I always order the Samgyeopsal (fried pork belly in gochujang sauce with vegetables) the fried chicken is also delicious. I've been eating here for 2 years and unfortunately I have to deduct two points from the food because I have the feeling that the quality of the ingredients has deteriorated and the chicken is no longer well seasoned and is dry. The service used to be better, but now the employees are simply overwhelmed, sometimes unfriendly and everything takes forever. The ambience is nice but it is quite loud and stuffy.

I would agree with the other reviews, this is a tourist trap. There were three of us there and we had the Crispy Chicken Teriyaki twice and the Tteokbokki once. Unfortunately, you definitely don't get the dish that is described on the menu. The fish cakes for the tteokbokki were not whole cakes like in the pictures, but just small overcooked pieces. Crispy Chicken supposedly comes with rice cakes and potato wedges as a side dish. The potato wedges were just normal fries and rice cakes were nowhere to be found. After we asked where the rice cakes were, he first said that they don't come with the crispy chicken. After we showed him that he was wrong on the menu, the waitress wanted to tell us that they were under the Crispy Chicken. However, when we couldn't find them, he said he would bring us some. When he came back from the kitchen he claimed that they were out. Unfortunately we can't imagine that! The waitresses also only speak very broken German and only a little better English. This made communication very difficult. The ordering system via QR code and cell phone is also very impersonal.

I was in the restaurant with a friend in May and we were thrilled with the visit - friendly, motivated waiters, delicious food and a great atmosphere. Today we were there and everything was different. The two waiters only spoke a few words of German, so even ordering the drinks was a parkour. The menu has also changed; the dishes we ordered back then were no longer available. If you don't want to order a complete Korean BBQ menu, you can choose between 3 types of chicken or 2 other main dishes. We all decided on fried chicken and it was either too dry or drowned in a marinade that was way too sweet and sticky. Unfortunately, the rice cakes listed on the menu were not included. But since we knew that the waiter wouldn't understand us, we didn't bother to ask. Our iced teas all arrived warm and the waiter didn't even ask if everything was OK or if we would like to drink something else. For a place that now offers almost exclusively Korean BBQ, the restaurant is poorly equipped with ventilation and extractor hoods, so a wedge had to be put in the front door, which was really not pleasant given the outside temperatures (and our table was right next to the door). . When we were paying, the waiter actively asked us about a tip and he was about to tip something on himself, which I was then able to prevent. Given the experience and the poor quality of the food, I didn't actually want to give anything and felt pressured by his action. Of course, when we went out we smelled of barbecue, including our clothes - all in all a disappointment, especially compared to our last visit. There are much better places in Cologne if you want delicious and authentic Korean food.

Mediocre food in a tourist trap - we were blinded by the positive reviews and had a very disappointing meal. We ordered the "Gangnam" platter, which came very quickly and was placed on the table without any comment. We only received side dishes after a friendly reminder from us. Short greeting or explanation of how the whole thing works with the table grill? Absolutely non-existent. The "side dish" consisted of 3-4 slices of zucchini and a mushroom. It was served with oil, salt and a spicy sauce. A bit lean overall. The mini side salads were also able to do this (carrot, beetroot & cucumber - a portion of one tablespoon each). Ambience? None. The meat quality was ok.

We were there recently and I have to say it was terrible. The employees are overwhelmed and stressed. Korean BBQ is not worth it because the meat is not seasoned and there is no sauce. It just doesn't taste good and the price for so little meat isn't worth it. The only good thing was that we spontaneously got a table. Go somewhere else for the money :)

We were disappointed. We had the Korean BBQ. The lettuce leaves were soggy. The waiters never asked us if it tasted good or if we needed anything else, for example when we ran out of lettuce leaves or we ran out of spices. There were no sauces and the meat came from the freezer. Therefore everything tasted very bland. We had to ask several times for more drinks. Overall very disappointing and not authentic Korean BBQ. The food (Korean BBQ) was more than carelessly prepared. The vegetable plate consisted, among other things, of two half stalks of leek. However you should prepare it sensibly. Unfortunately, the meat wasn't really tasty (pancetta, for example, was thick and tough) and the side dishes were very few and a bit bland. The service was so-so. I was very disappointed with the cost I had. The Korean fried chicken was probably not bad.

The food has gone bad. It used to be delicious. But now it's far too expensive what you get for the money. Never again…
