An inconspicuous insider tip for lovers of home-style cuisine! I have lived in the district for 30 years and have never enjoyed the wonderful cuisine. This German restaurant impresses with hearty, authentic dishes that are prepared to perfection. The Schmandschnitzel was simply outstanding - tender meat, deliciously seasoned and with an incredibly creamy sauce that is second to none (reminiscent of tarte flambée - tarte flambée + pizza = love. As a starter, the baked Camembert: golden brown and crispy on the outside, wonderfully melted on the inside, accompanied by a fine cranberry sauce - a delight! Traditional cuisine is served here with a lot of skill and heart. Be sure to stop by!

The ambience is excellent, the service satisfactory, and the wait for the food reasonable. 😋👍💯 However, the food quality only deserves two stars. My grill plate, consisting of pork loin, chicken and steak, contained overcooked, tough and tasteless meat - contrary to my preference, which was not asked for. 🙁👎🥺 Some of the vegetables were also too hard to eat. 😩😫😰 Since this is the second incident of this kind, I would like to note this, not as a criticism, but as a suggestion for improvement. 🙏😇🌟

On Sunday January 26th, 2025 I ordered a dessert after dinner at 8:05 p.m. The waitress asked the chef and the answer was there was no more dessert. On the front door it said opening hours: Sundays until 9:30 p.m. Guys, something like what is described above doesn't work at all. If you no longer need it, please place a sign “Closed due to wealth” on the door.

We had a successful weekend stay in a great atmosphere. The hotel is beautifully centrally located and the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. In our opinion, the renovation of the rooms planned for the beginning of 2025 would not be necessary at all. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The wellness area leaves nothing to be desired. Both the three-course menu and the breakfast buffet were very attractively prepared, extensive and tasty. We can recommend your stay in the sun with a clear conscience.
