Our family of eight went to El Toro Steakhouse and had a wonderful evening! The food was absolutely delicious – everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The service was excellent, with the staff very friendly and attentive, even with a large group. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting – ideal for a family meal. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good food and great service. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, I have to correct myself! Our first two visits were excellent, but last week we were very disappointed. It wasn't fully staffed, but the conditions were still overwhelming. No greeting from the kitchen, plates were passed across the table. The lady clearing the table stacked plates in front of one of our friends, etc. That's not appropriate in this price range. It's not a chip shop!!!! What a shame!!! 😔 Super delicious!!! Good value for money Modern, friendly interior Attentive, friendly staff Top!!!

The food was very good. Nice piece of fish. Unfortunately, the speed of serving is too high. People are just sitting down to their aperitif, the starter is already served and the ordered wine is opened and poured. This way you can't enjoy your evening meal in peace.

We were there with the family today. Unfortunately, we had to wait a good 15 minutes before we even got the menu. The service was rather mediocre – a bit disorganized and not very attentive. The food was really delicious, though, nothing to complain about. After the meal, it took forever for someone to clear our plates and ask if we wanted anything else. It's a shame, really. The place has potential, but we probably won't be coming back for a while.

The three of us ate here on Mother's Day. Almost all tables were occupied and the staff seemed clearly overwhelmed. The menu, consisting of two sheets, was only handed to us after more than 10 minutes. As a starter we ordered a portion of bruschetta, served with three slices each. The small starter salad was also brought. Unfortunately, the waiter forgot to provide us with small plates, so we had to pick up the bruschetta - which of course led to a few small mishaps. We had to wait over 40 minutes for the main course. Unfortunately it didn't impress us in terms of taste. All in all, you have to be prepared for very long waiting times if the restaurant is full. The owners should urgently work on better organization to avoid such delays. In our opinion, the explanation that it is Mother's Day and therefore there is a lot to do seems like a simple excuse. It's a shame - we know there is another way.

The place is very lovely inside. The service is very kind and friendly and the food is amazing. I had the fillet steak and onions. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the vegetables that came with were nice and tender. I would recommend it. Thank you for the lovely food and experience.

From the outside, the restaurant looks a bit like a large event hall. The ambience inside is appealing. The food was brought to the table quickly and tasted very good. The prices are in the middle segment.

The ambience is excellent, the service satisfactory, and the wait for the food reasonable. 😋👍💯 However, the food quality only deserves two stars. My grill plate, consisting of pork loin, chicken and steak, contained overcooked, tough and tasteless meat - contrary to my preference, which was not asked for. 🙁👎🥺 Some of the vegetables were also too hard to eat. 😩😫😰 Since this is the second incident of this kind, I would like to note this, not as a criticism, but as a suggestion for improvement. 🙏😇🌟

Not a real steakhouse, no dry-aged steaks on the menu, and no porterhouse, T-bones, etc., but pizzas and pasta. Nicely decorated, ambience is ok, a lot of noise because of the size, and a smile from the waitress wouldn't be bad. To eat, the Vitella Tonato and Bruschetta were good, the vegetables were also frozen, and the salmon was too dry, just like the pork loin. The fillet was ok, but the schnitzel, too thin, no proper breadcrumb breading. At this price-performance ratio, I expect fresh goods and not frozen goods.

Very solid cuisine in a nice ambience. The menu is not typical of a steakhouse. The burger we ordered was quite good. Price-performance ratio is just okay.

Nice restaurant, friendly service, food not to my taste. The mushroom sauce didn't have much flavor. The meat was okay. The service was very good, the starter/main course sequence was good. To try again with another dish perhaps?

This restaurant thrives on the beautiful, modern ambience. You can always find a place and the size means you can sit separately from others. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right for me. The food is not of the quality that would be appropriate for these high prices. Overall, the impression is that some dishes are partly frozen goods. The service seems emotionally flattened and sometimes the guests are bored/annoyed. However, the young waiter should be highlighted positively. Overall, the location is convincing, but not the food and service - a shame.

Best pasta bolognese I've eaten Steaks are indescribable, but that's what the name says. You can eat there and not catch anything wrong.

We ate here again during the asparagus season: the large selection and very good quality of the dishes impressed us on our first visit. The price-performance ratio was reasonable. The reception was very friendly, the service attentive, the atmosphere pleasant - we cannot agree with the bad reviews in any way and would be happy to come back!

I think solid describes it best. After I had often heard very bad reviews about the restaurant, we went there ourselves today. The restaurant was very well attended and the atmosphere is completely new, modern and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is also great. The food was beautifully presented. The schnitzel was okay to good. The asparagus served with it was really great. However, the others' pizzas were in short supply. All in all, you can be lucky and unfortunately also unlucky when it comes to your choice of food. The price was okay overall, but perhaps a bit high for the quality. Regarding the service: The restaurant performs rather poorly here. The waiter seemed like he was being forced to work and didn't smile or even show a friendly gesture all evening. The boss herself is quite nice. So all in all I don't have to go here anymore.

Ended up in this restaurant by chance. We ordered Jägerschnitzel with fries and ketchup and an onion schnitzel with fried potatoes. The ketchup was forgotten for the Jägerschnitzel and fries were served instead of fried potatoes for the onion schnitzel. To me the schnitzels look like Tk from the deep fryer, even if that has been disputed. The staff is nice and friendly, apart from the female waitress who looks like she doesn't feel like working. The ambience is ok. It was tasty, but all in all I don't think we will come back again.

Can't understand the negative review. Despite the restaurant being full, the service staff was very friendly. Given the size of the restaurant, it's understandable that the food isn't served within 15 minutes. You have to plan for some waiting time, which is compensated by the very tasty food. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine.

Tiramisu? This has nothing to do with tiramisu, zero taste. We left it there. No attention from staff, no asking you if it tasted good or why you didn't eat. Jäger Schnitzel from the freezer, a clear frozen product. The sauce from the bag. Side dish of salad with ready-made sauce. The only thing that was good was the cappuccino. Never there again.

Nice atmosphere...no question. But I was disappointed with the food. Since I like eating falafel, I ordered the veggie burger with falafel patty. I got a frozen patty. And that for almost €15!!!

Unfortunately we were disappointed for the second time. The first time there was little going on (4 tables) and now there was a lot. Both times we waited over an hour for our food. The boss? Was mainly on her cell phone and busy, even though the drinks had already been on the counter to be served for at least 5 minutes. You could hardly order anything anymore, we had to go to the counter. The gentleman who served us was nice, the ambience is also nice, but the waitress/boss doesn't smile, isn't friendly either and you wait too long for the food, where the prices are too high for me and not even the vegetables are cooked is. Very unfortunate. We won't come a third time.

I thought that the restaurant could dim the lights a little, then it would be even more comfortable.

Always happy! Very friendly and attentive service. The food (grilled plate for 2 people) was absolutely delicious. We have rarely eaten such a good salad as a starter. All the ingredients were fresh and the dressing was definitely homemade. Kudos to the kitchen!

We were served immediately and within a few minutes of ordering we had a tasty salad as a starter. The rump steak was very tasty and juicy. The service was impeccable and despite the high number of guests, no one was neglected and we had practically no waiting times. If your steak was too dry, you just have to tell the waiter beforehand how you would like it. My rump steak and my friend's beef fillet were ordered medium rare and were cooked perfectly. We were very enthusiastic about the restaurant and would love to come back.

The starter was very good, which is to be expected in this price range. The steak was cooked medium rare as ordered. The lamb fillet was fried to death and died twice, including the vegetables, and was ice cold. Except for the young gentleman, the service was underground. The boss yawned loudly at our table with her mouth wide open, couldn't remember two things at the same time and came across as very unprofessional. The older gentleman's best bet is to go down to the basement to laugh, or look for another job. Only the young man was very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is fresh and modern, but sometimes comes close to a canteen. A little decoration on the tables would loosen things up a bit.

Die Vorspeisen waren lecker und auch schnell da. Getränke? Fehlanzeige Die Servicelräfte haben das auch zur Kenntnis genommen, Geholfen hats nicht. Das Hauptgericht kommt. Fleisch gut.Beilage kalt. Getränke immer noch nicht da. Dessert war das Geld nicht wert. Und Thema Service Die jüngeren noch freundlich. Der etwas ältere Herr sollte sich einen neuen Job suchen.

Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und kompetent, aber nicht aufdringlich. Super! Das Essen war der pure Genuss. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Carpaccio und Vitello Tomato. Das Fleisch war frisch und butterzart. Die Sauce perfekt abgeschmeckt. Das selbstgemachte Knoblauchbrot war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Hätte für mich etwas mehr Knoblauch vertragen können, aber das ist subjektiv. Es war jedenfalls sehr gut. Als Hauptgang hatten wir das Rinderfilet. Ich hatte meins medium rare bestellt, was für manche eine Herausforderung darstellt. Nicht aber hier. Das Steak war on point, einfach perfekt medium rare. Die Pfifferlingsauce war ein Genuss. Ebenso das Gemüse, welches die perfekte Bissfestigkeit hatte. Die Pommes waren halt Pommes. Das Dressing zum Beilagensalat war auch gut abgeschmeckt. Das El Toro ist jedem zu empfehlen, der einen schönen Abend mit gutem und frischen Essen, in einem tollen Ambiente verbringen möchte. Wir freuen uns jedenfalls auf den nächsten Besuch.

Sehr schönes Restaurant und gutes Essen...Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir waren zu viert dort essen und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Essen war lecker, Service aufmerksam. Gerne wieder!

Das Ambiente ist wirklich top und der Service war bis auf wenige Kleinigkeiten gut. Die Vorspeisen und Salate waren sehr gut auch die Menge stimmte. Beim Hauptgang allerdings, ist mein Rindersteak leider durchgefallen. Sehr trocken und teilweise knorpelig und nicht essbar. Zudem waren große gegrillte Gemüsestücke auf dem Teller platziert, um möglichst viel Platz vom Teller einzunehmen. Insgesamt für den Preis etwas zu wenig, daher nur 3 Sterne für das Essen.

Das Essen war lecker. Wir wurden von zwei Herren im Service bedient. Der junge Mann war sehr nett, der zweite Herr sehr unfreundlich und unprofessionell. Bei den Preisen darf man als Gast neben gutem Essen auch durchaus erwarten, freundlich bedient zu werden. War hier leider nicht der Fall.

Wir waren für unser Weihnachtsessen dort. Es gab Menü. Hühnersuppe zu Weihnachten..bissel komisch.. aber Antipasto war gut. Hauptspeise war soweit oki. Nachtisch: Zimtparfee....für mich leider ungenießbar...ZUVIEL MUSKAT. Aber wir werden sicher an einem Nicht Feiertag mal wieder kommen... Weihnachten bedeutet für alle Stress.. und es war auch viel los.. Nach uns warteten schon die nächsten für unseren Tisch.

Ich war lange nicht hier, der Umbau ist gut gelungen. Bei großen Veranstaltungen wie Weihnachtsfeiern ist allerdings eine sehr große Geräuschkulisse vorhanden. Sehr schöne auswahl an Speisen

Das es war sehr gut. "Hähnchenbrust gegrillt auf Pfifferlingsauce" auf dem Bild. Es gab noch Schnitzel und Steak für die anderen. Der Service war nett und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant war voll an dem Abend, dadurch war es von der Akustik her etwas laut. Aber ansonsten war alles gut. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

Wunderschön renoviertes Restaurant. Was uns etwas gestört hat war das Teller schon abgeräumt werden wenn andere Personen noch essen. Auch kam die bestellte Vorspeise zum Hauptgang...mit der Begründung: damit alle zusammen essen können. Nun ja....Kleinigkeiten...haben uns aber gestört.

Vorspeise war Gut nur Paprika könnte mehr angebraten sein. Fischplatte war Lecker und Bratkartoffeln genau richtig nur bissel mehr Butter mit Knobi. Fleischplatte war auch Gut, nur Medaillon war zu trocken.

Das Eltoro Restaurant war das beste im Gebiet Frankenberg. Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut, hat viele ausswahlen. Die ganze Woche im Eltoro gegessen und war niemals enttäuscht. Das Ambiente sehr schöhn gestaltet, man fühlt sich sehr wohl.Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, motiviert und unterhaltend. Sehr empfelendswert 🫶

Wir sind durch Zufall auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden und hatten sehr Glück. Es ist alles super lecker und auch die verschiedenen Gerichte, die wir probiert haben, sind absolut fantastisch. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlichen und immer mit eim Lachen. Das Essen ist einfach nur großartig und nicht zu übertreffen in der Region Frankenberg.

Das essen war mega lecker. Wir waren bei Viessmann im Kurs und waren jeden Tag zum Abendessen im El Toro. Ich kann das Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen. Super Service und alles einfach Top.

Sehr leckeres Essen und schönes Ambiente. Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich. Immer gerne. Ist schwer einen Tisch für das Wochenende zu bekommen, meistens ausgebucht.

Tolles Ambiente sehr gutes Essen und ein Top Service

1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet, nach ansprechen des Service Personals hastete diese eilig in die Küche dann gab es schon mal den Vorspeisen Salat mit dickem Strunk. Eine halbe Stunde später kam dann das englisch bestellte Steak in medium. Die Geräuschkulisse ähnelt einer Bahnhofshalle.

Das neue Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend, das Essen hervorragend, Service und Freundlichkeit sehr gut 👍 und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt einfach! Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Weiterhin alles Gute wünsche ich dem gesamten Team.

Schönes Ambiete, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Beim betreten des Restaurants wird man sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir kommen zwar aus Frankfurt am Main, trotz der Entfernung kommen wir sehr gerne hierher. El Toro ist immer ein Besuch Wert. Preis/Leistung stimmt überein, Portionen sind immer reichlich. Die Bedienung war bislang immer sehr aufmerksam und höflich, bis auf unseren letzten Besuch..als die Getränke an den Tisch gebracht wurden, wurden die Gläser kreuz und quer auf den Tisch gestellt und es wurde kein Wasser aus der Flasche in die Gläser geschenkt..die Bedienung wirkte sehr unmotiviert!
