We really liked the restaurant based on the quality of the food, reasonable prices, and the customer-oriented staff. We will definitely come back here again

Great restaurant with a good selection of food. I can highly recommend the Vitello Tonnato and the Carpaccio. Both are also well priced. I can also recommend the beef fillet, saltimbocca and lamb fillet. The service was attentive and the desserts were reasonable considering the price. The only thing I didn't like was the coffee. This one was far too bitter for me.

I'm actually not the typical clientele. In my area there is already a snack bar with the opportunity to sit down, a restaurant. We sat in the smoking area in the winter garden. The only point of criticism is... I'm too fat😂 No, the tables are quite narrow. But that doesn't matter. I could have done something about it. Tomato soup was very tasty. Tortellini too. I really liked the noodles. They weren't floury in any way. Well...and then that...I think sabajone (I'm too lazy to look at how it's spelled). Break egg with sugar etc. Wow, powerful. I was well filled. This is what delicious diabetes tastes like. Sweet, but good. But I think you have to like that too. The service was really nice. Didn't seem out of place to me. Friendly. Real. Have to say... The store is great. Now I have to say that I was invited and otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it. Unless I'm over it. But then also with a shirt and stuff. Long story short. It was a nice visit. Guess I have to train first...enjoy practicing.

I'm really pissed off! I specifically asked for gluten-free pizza when reserving a table to make sure I could eat. When we got there and ordered, they suddenly said they didn't have gluten-free pizza. This is simply impossible! It's frustrating when you're looking forward to something and then you're disappointed. I definitely won't come back and can't recommend this place. If I could give zero stars I would.

Now we always eat there before the Werder game. We thought it would be a very expensive Italian restaurant but it won't be at all! On the contrary, the price/performance ratio here is UNBEATABLE! Great service and really tasty!!! The shop is small and narrow which unfortunately means that it is very loud. Nevertheless the store is 100% Greetings Flo and Paddy

I don't understand the many good reviews. Pizza is better elsewhere. Lasagna was still cool inside. Completely tasteless tomatoes and cucumber in the salad. However, the rolls for the meal were great. Drinks like cola etc. are way too expensive. -3.15 euros for 0.2 liters in a glass, not a bottle- It was so loud in the restaurant that you could hardly have a conversation. We won't be back that quickly.

August 19, 2024 12:00 p.m. Here the staff assigns parking spaces for bicycles, but guests who park their cars on the sidewalk are tolerated. Very unfriendly, so we looked for another location. The service was very nice, as was the ambience. Our table was in the next room, so there was less noise from the other tables but there was little space. The meal took a relatively long time, but it was extremely crowded that day. I had a pizza and for my taste the base could have been thicker than 2 mm, otherwise it tasted good

We came without a reservation but were able to eat on site thanks to the nice staff. The shop was completely full and had a nice atmosphere. The food is very good and you can also get an appetizer independently, which defines a good restaurant. The shop is very central and 10 minutes from the stadium, which is why you should reserve a little earlier on match days. The employees were all very nice and the food was ready quickly. I would highly recommend going there again.

We met four commuter friends here for pizza. I had Tonno + mushrooms, the others 2x Fungi & 1x Tonno Gorgonzola. The order came quickly and the friendly waiter provided hot sauce on request. Let's get one thing straight: I haven't had such good pizza in a long time. The base was crispy but not dry, nicely evenly topped and then it tasted really good 😋. My neighbors at the table also confirmed this for themselves. The only drawback was the noise: since the restaurant was fully booked (reservations recommended), it was a bit loud. All in all: we will definitely come back here, I can only recommend it.

The restaurant was fully booked on a Monday evening. You should make a reservation 😉 Card was delivered quickly. Drinking came first (I think that's great). The food also came quickly and was hot. It was delicious too. Pizza was huge. For around €20 for pizza, beer, espresso and schnapps - I think that's really great!

The lunch menus are great with a really good price/performance ratio! Even the espresso is only 1.55 euros at lunchtime. Pizza rolls, good tasting starter soup, small salad in a nice atmosphere with a fabric tablecloth. Lunch is finally fun again!!!

Best Italian far and wide. And that only refers to the food, both in terms of quality and taste. And when I then look at the prices, I can't find a better price/performance ratio. The fish is extremely good, the Vitello Tonato is unbeatable and the beef fillet is perfect! Even at the risk that the restaurant will be even more crowded in the future and I often won't get a table: the restaurant is great!!!

Cozy restaurant with good price/performance ratio. Points were deducted because my pizza was rather mediocre (the dough was much better and the tomato sauce lacked flavor) and because the noise in the restaurant was quite high. The other 3 of us were very satisfied with the food.

I was at Gallo with friends. The service was very good. We all enjoyed the food. What was very negative, it was very loud. That's the only reason for me that I won't eat there again. My friends also found it too loud. Now the managing director could say that there is no other way or that this is normal. I don't accept that because in most restaurants it's not that loud. But it may be that the managing director is capable of learning and brings about positive changes.

Had lunch here today with my wife and kids. What can I say? Wow! Excellent seafood as a starter, great grilled squid as a main course and a very soft, round Sauvignon. The espresso was also good. The service was particularly excellent: the waiter was simply great, looked after our little ones very nicely and was just extremely personable. From now on, whenever I'm in Bremen.

Packed, so noisy, but delicious food. Fairly priced. I was there in the evening (May 2024) with my father and we both drank wine (≈11€ 0.5l carafe) and both ordered the four-course menu (≈43€). He meat, I fish. I thought the food was delicious, and so did he. What I would change: No longer purchase water from Nestlé (San Pellegrino). Install sound absorbers, because without the crowd the prices might have to rise, but it was noisy because of all the people. Why I will come again: I like the food and the prices are reasonable. Without the menu, I would never have discovered what a pleasure a whole grilled sea bream is. I live nearby, I like the location.

Very authentic Italian, incredibly tasty food at reasonable prices. Nicely sized portions so everyone was full. Delicious pasta cooked to perfection and pizza like in Italy (also good to pick up). Reservations are recommended because the restaurant is very busy.

My favorite Italian. It's always delicious here. All dishes are well seasoned (the chef doesn't like it unsalted). If you like it quiet, this is the wrong place. There is always something going on. You don't just see the kitchen, you're always right in the middle of the Italian hustle and bustle.

Great food, probably the best Italian food in Bremen and great service. Unfortunately very, very loud. Much too narrow, as there are at least 2-3 tables too many. The air is also almost unbearable. Conclusion: great food, great service but unfortunately due to local conditions you can't go there more than once a year. A pity.

I'm always happy when we're at Gallo. Everyone is very loving and extremely friendly and accommodating!

The food is absolutely world class. Like in Rome. The carbonara is to die for. You have the feeling of being directly in Italy. All waiters speak Italian. Two suggestions for improvement: It was very, very warm in the restaurant. It would be nice if there was a window open or ventilation. What is very annoying is the directly adjacent open smoking area in the restaurant. As a non-smoker, this is very annoying.

We ended up here in this typically Italian restaurant on a Monday evening, already very busy, but the waiter very kindly found us a free table. Luckily for us, some customers had canceled their reservation 2 minutes before our arrival. We had a wonderful evening, the very well dressed waiter served us like VIPs. The kitchen is very small, but very smart. The chef Marco, from Viterbo, is in command. Great flavours, great service, perfect room temperature. In the end they offered us 2 coffees and two grappas. During lunch, between one course and another, we were served small samples of pasta, pizza and cured meats. Fantastic. Thanks guys, full speed ahead. Ps: hello to the kruk 😉

The food is good. However, the restaurant is cramped and loud, especially when you sit in front of the open kitchen. TERRIBLE: Unfortunately, smoking is allowed in the glass box right next to the main restaurant! A connection is wide open. It's been a long time since I smelled as much of nicotine as I did after visiting Gallo. A pity.

Du meinst, du bist in Italien!! Die Atmosphäre, der Service, die Küche… Wenn ich in Bremen bin, dann ist Gallo Pflicht. Einen Tisch zu bekommen ist nicht einfach, darum früh genug reservieren. Ihr werdet mir recht geben.

Bester Mittagstisch der Stadt, super 3 Gang Menü, ungeschlagen im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, charmanter Service mit lebhafter Atmosphäre.

Jede Mahlzeit ist ein Feuerwerk köstlichster Aromen. Unglaublich!!!

Das Essen ist sehr gut. Die Angestellten sind alle sehr freundlich und flexibel wenn mal etwas nicht passt. Es ist sehr gemütlich und im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen, das finde ich super.

Mittagstisch am Donnerstag, 14:00. Vorweg gab es Brötchen mit Pesto. Pesto war lecker, die Brötchen waren hart. Kommentar des Kellners "Die liegen schon seit 11:00". Hauptgericht Fisch mir Gemüse. Der Fisch war merklich aufgewärmt, das Gemüse z.T. weich. Kommentar des Kellners "Vielleicht hat der Koch einen schlechten Tag oder hatte Streit mit seiner Frau". Insgesamt haben wir dort schon besser gegessen. Schade.
