We visited this beautiful restaurant for the first time yesterday and were thrilled. Everything was absolutely perfect: the appetizer, the main course, the wines, the service, the ambiance. We will definitely be back, and it won't be long.

Upscale Italian that honestly had some of the best pasta I have ever had. Got the ravioli in truffle sauce and it was very memorable. Small place with nice atmosphere.

A fantastic restaurant on a side street off the Schlachte promenade in Bremen. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are very inviting. The outdoor tables are shielded from the crowds by glass walls, offering a great view of the lively scene on and off the Schlachte in the evening. The cuisine is upscale Italian and consistently delicious. The restaurant is also suitable for small celebrations and invites you to a cozy and enjoyable evening. The wines and desserts are also very tasty and can be customized upon request. A top restaurant in a beautiful part of the city. One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at. Everything was incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared. I'd love to go back next time I'm in Bremen.

Food was good but expensive, friendly staff and good atmosphere

We had a delicious meal and received excellent service at this family-run establishment. The food isn't cheap, but it's very high quality and the portions are generous, so we felt the price was reasonable. We'll definitely be back!

So, today, a week later, with a bit of distance... Great ambiance, incredibly tastefully decorated. The crew, the service very charming and attentive. The two guys have a courteous demeanor and professional approach. The presentation of the products outside, the tomahawk steak, the fresh fish... Beautiful to look at. For starters, delicious bread with incredibly good olive oil, with sea salt and pepper, delicious. The small bottle certainly not under €30. "Today" nothing fancy, just what's going on: pizza☝️ mine was with nice mozzarella and delicious, yet spicy Italian salami. Wow, that had steam. Guys, not once, not even remotely did the dough, or rather the base, taste burnt. Not dry, not burnt, not too mushy, just right, bam... The size was just right, with enough room to still taste the meat, and big enough to keep you feeling properly full. Price-wise, definitely in the upper range, 23 smashing! But you're not just paying for good products, well-crafted food with authentic flavors, but also for the ambiance and service. In this case, €23. So if you want to go to a "simple Italian restaurant," you're in the wrong place. I've certainly had better quality food, but for me, the evening was well-rounded, the ending was successful, and I was captivated by the dance floor as a whole. Another guest summed it up perfectly: This is where you go with your princess to show her your appreciation and affection, to end the evening with amore 😉 Unfortunately, not all guests have the foresight, the necessary decency, or the experience to see it all in its entirety... But the most exclusive Italian restaurant in town, by the Weser River on the Schachte, simply offers class and dolce vita. Afterwards, there was grappa or limoncello, both expensive, simply delicious, and with style. In conclusion, certainly not for every week or everyone, but something special with its hospitality and hospitality. Thank you for that.

Het eten viel, zeker gezien de prijzen, nogal tegen. De voorgerechten waren wel aardig maar, zeker voor wat je ervoor moet betalen, niets bijzonders. Van de pasta-hoofdgerechten waren er twee goed en een niks bijzonders maar wel duur. Eén hoofdgerecht was een dorade die redelijk was maar het was een bord met daarop alleen een vis; er zat verder helemaal niets bij. Verder zaten we in een ruimte naast een steenoven waar het echt vreselijk warm was. De ober was wel erg aardig en deed enorm z’n best. Wat ons betreft geen aanrader…

The prices are exorbitant and you don't get really outstanding food for it. The restaurant is described as family friendly, we didn't feel welcome. The waiters were inattentive, we were not asked for drinks again. They seemed distant and annoyed. Not again.

Wir waren für eine Nacht in Bremen und haben hier im Voraus einen Tisch reserviert und, was soll ich sagen, wir waren beide total begeistert. Ein feiner kleiner Italiener, so wie man es sich wünscht. Das gesamte Personal war so freundlich und zuvorkommend, Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen waren geschmacklich einfach hervorragend bzw. herausragend. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder !!!

The menu didn't appeal to us, so we stuck with one drink.

Waren mit 12 Personen dort, hatte vorab im Internet die Speisekarte angeschaut. Pizza ,Pasta, etc. , die Preise waren auch okay. Vorort das böse erwachen...... Pizza gab es garnicht , trotz Nachfrage wurden wir unfreundlich mit einem "Nö" abgespeist. Die Pastagerichte waren ab 24 € total überteuert . Ausserdem war der Tisch an dem wir saßen viel zu eng eingedeckt , der Sitznachbar hätte beim Essen den Ellbogen im Gesicht gehabt . Wir haben ur unsere bestellten Getränke bezahlt und sind dann wieder gegangen .

Die Bedienung war sehr bemüht, und dabei wirkte das leider auch hektisch. Vielleicht lag es am Temperament des Inhabers. Leider gibt es keine veganen Optionen auf der Speisekarte, das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Es könnten zum Beispiel Antipasti angeboten werden ohne tierische Produkte oder auch einfach nur ein toller gemischter Salat. Diesen erhielt ich auf Nachfrage nach tierleidfreiem Essen auch und er war sehr gut gelungen. Am besten kommt er auf die Speisekarte!

I had made a reservation for a table and received confirmation. However, upon arrival, a staff member informed us in an aggressive manner that there were no tables available for us and left us standing at the entrance. We even paid the parking of the car for nothing. Although the ambiance appeared pleasant, the space seemed rather small and crowded.

A small but nice restaurant! We had a very successful evening with a group (8 people). Friendly welcome, cozy atmosphere and a great, very attentive staff. The food was excellent. We had everything from a mixed starter plate to meat, fish, various pasta variations and dessert! Simply delicious and absolutely worth the price. Clear recommendation!

Nice restaurant. I would not say they are exactly Italians, but the meat was good. Very expensive for what they offer.

Incredible food and a wonderful atmosphere. Relatively small and familiar, but not too loud. The operation is in its element and is convincing in every respect. Even if the food is comparatively expensive, you get what the price promises. The dessert is particularly impressive (Tartufo or Tiramisu). The only drawback is in the bathroom area; a functioning trash can for the towels would be desirable. Nevertheless, a must-visit if you want to have a good Italian meal in Bremen.

Some nice food after shopping in the city center. We were right here! A friendly welcome, nice waiters, an interesting menu and what came out of the kitchen was really tasty. A salad with chanterelles as a starter to share was also no problem. We were completely satisfied and would definitely come back. Upscale atmosphere and prices. There were also tables in front of the restaurant. However, this was too uncomfortable (cold) for us. Location right next to the Schlachte.

We were in Bremen for a weekend and treated ourselves to two evenings in this restaurant with a typical Italian atmosphere. The food was a culinary delight and enchanted us every evening. We have never experienced a waiter with so much passion, friendliness and conscientiousness. With so much attention he managed to completely satisfy us. Went there last night, the food was excellent. We just didn't quite understand that we were given an aperitif (which you can drink comfortably before eating), but after a short time the food came. So we still had a glass half full and couldn't order a glass of red wine with our meal. We found that a bit unusual for this high level. So after about half an hour we finished eating. Maybe consider adding a little more peace and quiet, especially since we were the only guests at the beginning.

Super tasty and authentic Italian cuisine. The employees are all very nice and try to fulfill the guests' every wish. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. The menu is not large but has a lot of delicacies, the price-performance ratio is good (the prices are a little higher but the quality is great) and perfectly fine for the location. We recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.

Girls night. The waiter was arrogant and behaved as if he had “taken” something, very restless and excited. When we wanted to pay, everyone for themselves (we did the math ourselves), he ran away angrily and shouted that they were a restaurant and not a Paulaners 😳 Plus, we ordered well and it's an expensive address, we didn't have any problems. In addition The waiter kept calling out to us in Russian even though we weren't Russian. We wanted to have a nice evening and the situation made it uncomfortable. We won't be coming back. This is not a true Italian way of serving guests. The store is not run by Italians either.

The two of us were there on a Saturday evening. The food was fresh and very tasty, the wine was good, all in all fine cuisine, which you can expect for the prices. Personally, I found the service to be friendly and very attentive, but unfortunately also a bit too loud at times.

We had a wonderful evening at Gallo yesterday. Went there with 15 people and were simply surprised with a 4-course menu. All of our guests were overwhelmed by the enjoyment of the diverse dishes. This was our third time at Gallo Nero and as always we were absolutely thrilled. A visit to Gallo Nero is now a must for us when we are traveling in northern Germany. The food is simply great and the service is super attentive and friendly. We will stop by as soon as we are near Bremen again. By the way, online reservations are now also possible.

Service auf höchstem Niveau! Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, ein Fest für den Gaumen. Ein Restaurant, das zu empfehlen ist.

Wir hatten Weihnachtsfeier mit Firma. Gleich am Anfang würde uns Aperitifo genötigt, dann hat sich rausgestellt 9 Euro für 0.1 l Prosecco. Dann die Vorspeise, wir haben auf ein Paar Teller, Kleinigkeitefür 15 Personen uns eingelassen. Es kammen 10 Teller für 20Euro pro Person. Der Chef war lässitg. Die Hauptgerichte waren in Ordnung. Aber die Vorspeise zusammen mit dem Aperitifo haben mehr gekostet als Hauptgericht mit dem Glas Wein. Wir haben unseren Bughet total überschritten und m haben den Rest aus eigenen Tasche gezahlt. Die empfohlenen Vorspeise und Glas Prosecco waren uns zu Verhängnis. Der Chef erzählte er ist ein Italiener Familien Gastronomie in der 3 Generation,hat aber Serbisch gesprochen, mit ein Paar Sprüche auf italienisch. Nicht zu empfehlen

Freundlicher Empfang, keine Reservierung gehabt, eigentlich nichts frei, aber Platz für 2 bekommen. Sympathischer witziger Oberkellner der gut verkaufen kann. Top Service, gutes Essen.

Großartige Aufmerksamkeit, großartige Freundlichkeit, exzellentes Essen. Wir waren mit der Familie da. Etwas wirbilig zu Anfang, aber sehr gutes. schönes Essen. Wir haben etwas lange auf den Haupteingang gewartet, aber das Restaurant war voll und die Zeit verging zufrieden. Ein Blick am späteren Abend in die Runde des Restaurants auf alle Göste zeigt den wahren Wert des Abends. Glückliche Familien und Paare in Harmonie.

Ein Essen in sehr schöner, angenehmer Atmosphäre. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Preislich in der oberen Preiskategorie. Alles in Allem empfehlenswert.

Wer den schwarzen Hahn noch nicht von seiner kulinarischen Seite kennengelernt hat ist schon ein bisschen selbst Schuld. Auch reichen die fünf Sterne nicht wirklich aus. Das Essen ist phantastisch, der Service ist kaum zu überbieten, und das Ambiente ist uritalienisch: hingehen!

Voilà un restaurant qui vaut le détour à Brême! Nous y sommes entrés un samedi soir sans réservation. Il restait heureusement une table. Nous y avons magnifiquement mangé une daurade cuite au four avec des légumes braisés. Le poisson et les légumes étaient parfaitement cuits, un délice, aucune sur-cuisson. Une adresse à retenir. Seul bémol un patron qui communique son stress aux clients lors du coup de feu, fort heureusement calmé en fin de soirée, autour d'une excellente Grappa.

Es gibt sie noch. Restaurants mit weißen Tischdecken und Stoffservietten. Endlich haben es auch wir geschafft das Restaurant Gallo Nero zu besuchen. Man läuft ja von der Schlachte immer nur dran vorbei. Es ist ein Restaurant der gehobenen Preisklasse. Wir haben bei sehr warmen Temperaturen draußen gesessen. Man sitzt sehr angenehm, getrennt vom Laufweg durch Glas und Pflanzen. Der Service ist ungemein aufmerksam und unser Essen war großartig.

Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Von der Begrüßung, bis hin zum Dessert ein perfekter Abend. Das Essen war atemberaubend, von der Qualität und auch der Präsentation her. Die Beilagen sehr gut portioniert, wohlschmeckend und passend kombiniert. Der Service war zuvorkommend, aufmerksam, freundlich, kompetent und nicht aufdringlich (vielen Dank an Aco ). Alles in allem ein Dinner was lange im Gedächtnis bleiben wird, wir kommen sicherlich bald wieder!

Wenn ihr einen wirklich tollen Abend verbringen möchtet, wenn ihr eine wirklich tolle italienische Küche sucht (nicht die mit den Sahnesaucen) dann seid ihr hier richtig. Hier findet ihr einen kleinen Familienbetrieb mit Perfektion, Stil, guten Geschmack, mit gut gelaunten Menschen, Mutter und Sohn verwöhnen die Gäste in einer wunderbaren Art! Ich weiß nicht wann ich das letzte Mal einen so wundervollen Service erlebt habe. Das Essen war einmalig lecker und wirklich italienisch. Ich wünsche der Familie alles erdenklich gute. Ehrlich gesagt stimmt das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz... Die Vorspeise war lecker und noch verhältnismäßig.. Allerdings bin ich bei Nudeln für 19 € mit einer nicht herausragenden Tomatensauce und ein wenig Salcicia raus.. Heute muss es bei den Preise wirklich besonders sein, um wieder zu kommen ...

Hi, ich war gestern mit 14 Personen bei Gallo Nero essen. Tolles Ambiente, trotz wärme hatte ich einen guten Platz gehabt. Der große Kellner "Alex" hat wirklich sehr gut und freudlich bedient! Der andere war etwas mürrisch und im Nachhinein unfreundlich. Ich musste länger auf mein essen warten, da ich mein Gericht ohne eine Soße wollte. Dies wurde leider nicht vom 2. Kellner aufgeschrieben und kam daher falsch zu mir. Ich muss sagen mein Fisch war soweit in Ordnung nur für diesen Preis habe ich schon deutlich besser gegessen. Zumal ich drei halbe Kartoffeln hatte und das Gemüse etwas wenig und sehr al dente war. Ich hatte es dem anderen Kellner erzählt aber er dreht sich um und ging... Ich gehe dort nicht mehr essen!!! Wenn die Leistung nicht gut ist sollte "Gallo Nero" mal über seine Preise nachdenken. Extra Wünsche sind vielleicht dort schwer umzusetzen!? Lg

Wir waren gestern mit unserer JGA Gruppe dort um lecker zu essen und den Abend schön auslaufen zu lassen.... Empfangen wurden wir von einem sehr unfreundlichem Kellner...beim Bestellvorgang,fragte meine Freundin welches der beiden Gerichte er denn empfehlen würde....Seine Antwort war"das weiß ich doch nicht,das müssen sie entscheiden ,sie essen das doch und nicht ich"!!! Unterste Kategorie was den Umgangston dieses Kellners angeht. Das habe ich ihn auch persönlich mitgeteilt. Worauf er mir doch tatsächlich geantwortet hat "ja sehen sie das so?? Das kann ja mal passieren "..... Nein es darf einfach nicht passieren!!! Das Essen hat allen geschmeckt und der Kellner Alex hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben und hat uns zwischenzeitlich ziemlich freundlich und mit lockeren Sprüchen bedient. Die Preise finde ich persönlich ziemlich deftig.....

Wir waren gestern mit einem Junggesellinenabschied hier. Wir hatten im Vorfeld für 15 Personen reserviert. Ich hab mich noch nirgends so unwillkommen gefühlt wie hier. Nachdem wir platz genommen hatten, kam der Ältere Herr und fragte, ob wir eine Vorspeiseplatte haben möchten. da nicht alle soviel Hunger hatten, lehnten wir diese ab und wollten erstmal die Karte haben. Als er die Karte brachte, sagte er, dass wir ja aber schon bestimmt wüßten, was wir trinken wollen. (In einem sehr genervten Ton). Wir sagten ihm, dass wir erstmal in die Karte gucken würden. Er schaute in die Runde und warf sehr pampig ein, dass wir doch für 15 Personen reserviert hätten, er aber nur 13 zähle. Wir sagten ihm, dass eine nachkommt und eine erkrankt ist. Nachdem er endlich bereit war unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen, fragte eine aus unserer Runde, ob er sich das alles so merken könne ohne aufzuschreiben. Die Antwort kam auch eher genervt rüber mit :,, Wenn wir schneller sagen, was wir wollen, dann schon, wenn es noch langsamer wird eher nicht." Eine aus unserer Gruppe hatte gefragt, was er empfehlen würde von 2 ausgesuchten Gerichten. Ebenfalls pampige Antwort, sie müsste doch selber wissen, was sie essen wolle, er würde ja schließlich nichts essen. Die Nachbestellung für die Getränke war auch eher schleppend und bei der Bestellung für den Nachtisch musste man auch mehrmals fragen. Alex der jüngere Kellner, war sehr bemüht, die Defizite im Umgang mit Gästen des Älteren Herren wieder wett zu machen. Er war wirklich super zu uns. (ER allein würde von uns 5 Sterne bekommen) Eine aus unserer Gruppe hat den Älteren am Ende noch beiseite genommen und ihm gesagt, dass er sehr respektlos uns gegenüber war und er es doch mal überdenken solle. Seine Antwort war nur, dass es ja mal vorkommen kann... Wenn wir nicht gerade JGA gehabt hätten, wäre ich spätestens nach der ,,netten" Begrüßung wieder gegangen. Ich betrete diesen Laden nie wieder.

Das Gallo Nero ist ganz sicher eine der gastronomischen Top-Adressen in Bremen und wie es sich für eine Top-Adresse der Gastronomie gehört, war das Essen absolut fantastisch. Aus irgendeinem Grund waren wir vorher nie dort aber jetzt werden wir ganz sicher wiederkommen. Auch der Service und das Ambiente sind hervorragend. Es ist sehr sicher etwas teurer als einfache Italiener um die Ecke, dafür ist das Essen aber delissimo.

Yesterday, 9th June 2023 I was with my family here. The staff here were a bit pushy. But it deserves it, for the amazing food, the amazing antipasti, the amazing main , wine etc, though a bit higher price! I can just say, we have enjoyed the food very very much! We strongly and definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be very happy to come back again, whenever we are around! Staff= for your amazing food no need to be pushy at all! Your food is just so good !
