GAIA Landsberg in Landsberg am Lech

Warrn heute am So 05.07.2026 überraschend mit der ganzen Familie mittags beim Essen. Besonders die saisonale frischen Produkte u deren gute handwerkliche Verarbeitung hat mir gefallen. Man merkte das hier alles frisch gekocht u geschmacklich ausgewogen zubereitet wurde. Beim nächsten mal gerne wieder.

Das Bistro besticht vor allem durch seine fantastische Lage direkt in der wunderschönen Altstadt von Landsberg am Lech, unmittelbar am Flussufer. Auch der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen: Das Personal war bei unserem Besuch ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein echtes Highlight war zudem der Kuchen, der wirklich unglaublich lecker war. ​Leider gab es jedoch deutliche Abstriche bei den Getränken. Sowohl die Erdbeer-Basilikum-Limonade als auch der San Bitter Spritz waren extrem wässrig und boten kaum Geschmack, hier hat das Mischverhältnis leider gar nicht gepasst. Ein weiterer großer Nachteil ist, dass keine American Express akzeptiert wird. In der heutigen Zeit sollte die Akzeptanz aller gängigen Kreditkarten bei einem guten Service eigentlich selbstverständlich sein. ​Insgesamt ein nettes Lokal für Kaffee und Kuchen in toller Kulisse, mit spürbarem Nachholbedarf bei den Kaltgetränken und den Zahlungsmöglichkeiten.

Der griechische Salat war viel zu salzig, es fehlten Paprika und Zwiebeln, und die Nudeln waren verkocht. Vielleicht wären Penne für so ein Gericht besser geeignet als diese hauchdünnen Tagliatelle, die kaum al dente waren.

Hatten heute die selbstgemachten Pasta....geschmacklich sehr gut. Aber die Pasta viel zu dick, nicht durch, zusammengeklebt....sehr schade. Kein Vergleich zu den Tagliolini mit Spargel vor drei Wochen, die waren sagenhaft!

Die langsamste Bedienung aller Zeiten. Keine Koordination in der Bedienung der Gäste. Wir sind nach 20 Minuten Wartezeit - ohne das man uns bemerkt oder bedient hätte - gegangen.

Liebes Gaia-Team, wir möchten euch ein ganz großes Lob für eure neue, wunderschöne Terrasse aussprechen. Sie ist wirklich großartig geworden, und wir lieben das Ambiente dort. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und kann die Zeit wunderbar genießen. Besonders begeistert haben uns eure Getränke – vor allem die großartigen Sommerlimonaden und die kalten Kaffeegetränke. Alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt und war perfekt für einen entspannten Sommertag. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können euch von Herzen weiterempfehlen!

Direkt am Lech, super nettes Personal und echt gute Drinks

Wir waren zum Frühstück dort und es war unglaublich lecker. Das Omelett mit Sucuk und der French Toast waren einfach fantastisch. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Köchin, die uns das Essen gebracht hat – sie war sehr freundlich und hat den Besuch noch angenehmer gemacht.

Hatten eine super nette Bedienung, Jacky ist die Beste! Ein schöner Platz zum Verweilen. Gerne wieder.

Das ambiente hier ist sehr schön und man kann super bei strahlendem sonnenschein direkt am Lech auf der Terasse sitzen. Unser Frühstück war super und unser Service (Avgi) auch 😊

Mega entspannt, leckerer Kaffee und gute Kombi an Frühstücksbroten. Avgi im Service war sehr nett und schnell mit den Bestellungen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und unsere Bedienung Lea ist sehr mausig.

Super leckeres Essen, egal für was man sich entscheidet. Ein wirklich schönes Ambiente, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Der Service ist auch mega! Jede Bedienung ist super lieb, habe noch nie eine schlechte Erfahrung hier machen müssen. Heute hat uns die Lea bedient, wirklich zuckersüß und aufmerksam. Komme immer wieder her :)

Kein einfaches Restaurant oder Bar. Ein Ort an dem man sich wie im Urlaub fühlt. Unterstützt vom tollen Service (Lena ist super aufmerksam und nett) und dem qualitativ guten und leckerem Essen. Auch die selbst gemachten Erfrischungsgetränke sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wer muss da noch an den Gardasee ;-)

Sehr leckeres Essen (und total hübsch angerichtet), sehr freundliche Mitarbeitende und gemütlich. Hinweis für Menschen mit Behinderung: Toilette im ersten Stock, steile Treppe, nicht Rollstuhlgerecht. Der Innenbereich sowie der ausenbereich sind stufenlos zugänglich (Weg Zum Restaurant über Kopfsteinpflaster). Ich hatte das Restaurant vom letzten Jahr noch in sehr guter Erinnerung und auch heute wieder war ich hoch zufrieden. Vielen Dank an das wirklich sehr aufmerksame Personal.

Angenehmes Ambiente, cooler junger Mann hinter der Theke, hat uns einen geilen Cocktail zubereitet und dazu erklärt welche zutaten und alles verwendet werden. Man hat sich gut aufgehoben gefühlt und der Barkeeper ist immer für einen Lacher zu haben. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder

Ich gehe dort sehr gerne hin und das auch Regelmäßig da man sich dort einfach wohlfühlen kann und entspannt seinen Cappuccino genießen. Wenn es grad passt kann man sich auch sehr nett mit dem Barkeeper Ferdi unterhalten der übrigens sein Handwerk versteht und das auch in Perfektion umsetzt. Großes Lob an die Location an das Team und vorallem dem Besten Barkeeper Ferdi der gefühlt immer da ist und mir immer ein Bild auf den Cappu Zaubert siehe Bild. Danke ich komme gerne wieder.

Bester Latte Maciato weit und breit....wir fahren ca.300km nach Landsberg um eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen,erste Anlaufstelle Cafe GAIA....wunderbare Stimmung im und außerhalb des Lokals ..... wir kommen wieder.....auch wenn meine Lebensgefährtin Moni nur einmal im Leben,so wie Heute 60 Jahre feiert......Danke ......

Mehrmals bereits kein Essen mehr verfügbar, obwohl es angeschrieben war. Beim nächsten Mal falsche Karte ausgegeben und nichts mehr davon verfügbar. Schade, das Lokal wäre in Ordnung. Aber ohne Organisation kommt es nicht gut beim Kunden an.

Ein toller Ort mit einer warmen, gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, und alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Es fühlt sich sogar ein bisschen wie eine Kunstgalerie an. Kaffee, Kuchen und Getränke sind alle sehr lecker.

Sehr netter Bedienung, die Frühstücksauswahl ist leider nicht gross..aber besonders und sehr schmackhaft. Nette Nischen zum sitzen. Auch für unseren Hunde wurde sofort Wasser gereicht. Kommen gerne wieder.

An Karneval leider absolut unfähiges Personal, erst steht man eine Stunde an, bezahlt Pfand, bekommt KEINE Bons, steht dann wieder fürs Pfand ne Stunde an- und dann nur gegen Bons leergut zurücknehmen - 10€ Pfand- das ist schon abzocke und ne Frechheit!! Feiert lieber in Köln-DIE könnens!!

Die Köchin hat einen super beraten was sie alles alternativ glutenfrei zubereiten kann. Es ist ein wahnsinnig guter glutenfreier Kaiserschmarrn geworden. Sehr zu empfehlen! 😊

Super lecker leckeres Essen sehr gute Getränke und vor allem einen wahnsinnig liebevoller Service, auch gegenüber unserem kleinen Sohnemann. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Ganz lieben Dank, ihr seid ein tolles Team und das merkt man auch von außen :)

A bistro with a difference 😃 I just popped in – there was a free table. Wild boar with homemade pasta. A real treat! We received attentive and friendly service. I've been here several times since – highly recommended!

Since its reopening, and even through the pandemic, I went there practically every weekend, as long as it was possible. We really liked the concept with which Gaia opened: a constantly changing menu, all locally sourced ingredients, and perfectly reasonable prices. However, the portions gradually got smaller—for the same price, of course—and the menu hardly changed at all. I wouldn't even say anything negative about the latter, since we inquired and were told that Landsberg wasn't embracing the original concept. After the change of ownership, a lot changed, especially the prices, which increased dramatically. It's a real shame, because I used to really like the restaurant.

Beautifully situated right on the Lech River. Unfortunately, we had to wait 20 minutes before we could order and another 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive (there were two of us). We were too far away, and the waitress was serving a total of 12 tables. Several people who arrived after us had already been served and had their drinks, and some even had food, before we could even order. The service was friendly, but not overly so, and there was no apology for the long wait.

We waited about 20-30 minutes for our order to be taken (two drinks). Then we had to wait another 20 minutes for a cold drink and a cappuccino. Many guests who had already been seated got up and left. The service itself was friendly. It's a shame, really, because the location is truly beautiful.

Absolutely terrible, I give this place a zero. There were six of us and we waited 20 minutes, but nobody came to serve us. That's unacceptable. I would never go there again.

Perfect for enjoying the last rays of sunshine. The food was good. The service took some getting used to and was soooo slow. If you're hungry, this is the wrong place to go. If you sit here, you should allow yourself time—not just for the food but also for the drinks.

The location, right on the Lech River, is beautiful. The staff is very friendly, but the wait times are unbearable. We waited 20 minutes to order. The table next to us, who arrived after us, received their food before we got our drinks. We waited another 20 minutes for four drinks. Not recommended for anyone who doesn't want to sit around forever.

Spiders, dust, and dirt everywhere! Used dishes sit on the counter for what seems like an eternity. Staff behind the counter eat pizza with their fingers, while simultaneously preparing a cocktail with the same fingers – without washing their hands – and pouring orange peels and ice cubes into the glass with their fingers. Staff wear black clothing, but their T-shirts are dirty with white stains. All in all – NO THANKS!

At this establishment, the culinary experience and service vary greatly. Sometimes a visit is excellent, sometimes not recommended; the quality rises and falls with the service staff. The ambiance is wonderful, especially outside in the summer.

Located in the heart of Landsberg am Lech, this wonderful café offers great service and a fantastic selection of cakes and desserts. Everything is fresh and lovingly prepared, making it truly difficult to choose. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger, perfect for a little break in the heart of the city. 🫶🏻

We'd been to this lovely bistro a few years ago. The staff is friendly and the place remains very pleasant, but the dishes we ordered weren't up to par: a salad without any dressing (they weren't even at the table), and another dish that was spicy without this being indicated on the menu.

We were there for breakfast and brunch on the weekend. Very friendly and attentive service, and comfortable seating at tables and booths in the main dining area. The back room isn't as great; it's more of a passageway to the kitchen. Wonderful breakfast dishes, such as country bread with poached eggs and avocado cream or hearty French toast. Everything tasted very good and looked great, too.

I've been going to the Gaia restaurant in Landsberg am Lech for a long time now, and I'm always impressed! As soon as you enter, you receive a warm welcome and immediately feel at home. The service team is attentive, courteous, and always in a good mood. You can feel the passion they put into their work. The food is fantastic: fresh, creative, and prepared with attention to detail. Every dish is a delight! For me, Gaia is one of the best restaurants in the region—I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I wanted to order lunch at 10 to 12, but initially couldn't because it wasn't even 12 yet. So I said I'd wait 10 minutes. A little later, the waiter returned and told me I could order lunch after all. It was delicious. Although the service could be a bit faster, especially when the restaurant is practically empty.

The coffee was really good, and the cocktails were also delicious – beautifully made and not too sweet. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and very tasty. The friendly and attentive service was particularly positive. When it suddenly started to rain, all the guests fled from the terrace into the restaurant – despite this, the staff reacted calmly and helpfully, and we continued to feel well looked after. Overall, a very pleasant afternoon with good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and a professional team. We would be happy to come back.

It's not modern when there are very few guests and you have to wait 45 minutes for a small meal. No matter how nice the ambiance is, it's a shame.

There were four of us here, and we all had a delicious meal! The portions were generous, the dishes were stylishly presented, and the food was served at a perfect temperature. We were also very impressed with the homemade spritzers. Despite a few special requests, everything came quickly, and the server was very friendly. There's a lovely view from the terrace.

We love coming here. Friendly and attentive staff. The menu offers a variety of dishes. We had the ceviche – very refreshing and perfect on such hot days! 🥰 The bruschetta with chanterelles and tomatoes was also delicious! We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, we had to wait forever for our order. We saved ourselves the trouble of reordering. However, the seating here is quite comfortable.

Beautiful location by the Lechwehr. It comes at a price, though! Almost €5!!!! for a miniature piece of cuisine that didn't taste like it was home-baked, but more like it had just been defrosted, and a drink with a glass that was over half full of ice cubes for over €8!!! Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right here. But it's a very nice place to sit, and the service was friendly too. I won't be coming back, though...

An unforgettable experience... in the most unpleasant way I recently visited this restaurant with perfectly normal expectations – nothing fancy, just a good meal in a place that seemed promising at first glance. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what you'd hope for when dining out. The food: Everything was bland, cold, and frankly, it seemed like it had been left over. I ordered a simple dish that's hard to go wrong – and yet it was a complete disappointment. The meat was undercooked, the side dish was cold, and the presentation on the plate was more thrown-in than lovingly crafted. The price was on par with a Michelin-starred restaurant, but the food was far from it. The service: The wait was extremely long, and the drink order was incorrect. After waiting for over an hour, we had to insist several times for the food to even arrive. Communication was poor, and there was no sense of organization. The ambiance: Okay... Conclusion: I would only recommend this restaurant if you want to learn what a dining experience shouldn't look like. With a little effort, some things could be improved, but in its current state, it's definitely a place best avoided.

When we were seated very friendly at the table, we ordered something to drink...we ordered lemonade...it was brought to us because the young waitress didn't even ask what kind she had...then we ordered food...we waited almost an hour...and the table next to us, who came later, got the food (the same) before us...then I asked why...they said maybe we ordered something else...no, it was exactly what we ordered...then finally The food was there....my "schaschlick" was cold and not fried....sweet potato puree was cold...Champions (from the can)...cold...and that for 27€!!!! Sad, I'm completely disappointed that I had to pay in full for this meal even though it wasn't edible... Never w

I come from Landsberg, but today I had breakfast at Gaia for the first time. It is 100% recommended! Actually, breakfast is only available until 12 p.m., but since we were a little late, we were allowed to order after 12 p.m. The breakfast and coffee were really excellent and I have never eaten such delicious croissants anywhere. Everything was beautifully prepared with great attention to detail and tasted very good. The selection of sweet and savory is just right. The service was super friendly and quick and the atmosphere inside and outside on the Lech was wonderful! For me the best breakfast in Landsberg!

I recommend the pulled chicken burger with kimchi and fries, but you can't go wrong with any of the other dishes - everything we ate was very, very tasty. The service is great and the kitchen team Manuela and Harutaka are terrific. The owner Vincent is incredibly personable. Go there and feel good - this great restaurant on the Lech Steps in Landsberg is a real pearl!

The three of us enjoyed the food incredibly well! The owner Vincent is the stunner! We were there with a wheelchair and got an excellent intro from him. I had to vote out the temporary worker because of a lack of empathy and we received excellent service from Vincent! Rich portion and very stylishly prepared. Great taste. Three dishes. Three times five stars. Great homemade lemonades! The next time we leave Cologne and set up in Landsberg, we will end up at GAIA again!

For me the best breakfast in Landsberg! We took the breakfast platter for two and scrambled eggs, muesli, salmon, pretzels, croissants were all included in the price! Service and food top :)
