Excellent beer and good service. Food is nice but really let down by the vegetables which are not fresh and don’t taste nice. Apparently this is well understood but nothing seems to change. Chef please note.

The place is beautiful. We went there on a Friday afternoon just before 5pm and were told that the kitchen was closed and that the cook was coming back at 5:30pm and that we couldn't order food. Inside, after a while, people sat down at reserved tables and the waitress asked them what salad they would get. Pure disappointment they did not want to serve us. They don't want many tourists, what can I say.

I was just there and waited ages to order. Then I changed the table because of the sun and wanted ask someone if I may order something. Then the waiter was kinda laughing and mentioned it was my fault if I change tables and said I had to wait for the other responsible waiter. I decided to save the effort for him and left to eat at another place.

Came around 8pm, asked for a table. I was ignored for 30 minutes. Then got the menu, waited again. Then: Kitchen is closed. 40 minutes later I'm still waiting for the beer I ordered. Hopefully an isolated case...

A very beautiful restaurant, dishes that you can compose to your liking, generous portions, local dishes. The servers are in traditional clothes and very efficient. A historic brewery very close to one of the sources of the Danube. Possibility of eating outside in good weather.

A wonderful evening with very tasty food (seasonal: Rösti with creamed chanterelles)! Highly recommended!

We went there for dinner today and chose the Bräustüble based on the good reviews. Now we can't understand how this restaurant gets these recessions? The greeting and the request for a free table was so unfriendly that we actually wanted to leave straight away. But since we were passing through we didn't have much choice. All employees felt overwhelmed and so unfriendly with a manageable terrace despite 5 colleagues. And unfortunately the ordering continued, very stroppy and gave you the feeling that you weren't welcome. Unfortunately, the food continued, I had a veal schnitzel, which had nothing to do with a schnitzel but was almost similar to a steak, and the quality of the meat was not good. When the plates were cleared, no one even asked if the food was good! The prices are way too high and not at all reasonable. We wouldn't recommend the Bräustüble and think that's a shame. But apparently people no longer have to rely on being friendly these days.

Dogs aren't really welcome, although a hunting dog statue at the main entrance suggests otherwise. We had already sat down in the beer garden with our small dog coming from the Sighthound Festival. The waiter warmly welcomed the four-legged friend and took the order. The beer garden is equipped with typical rustic wooden tables and folding chairs, without upholstery or other seating cushions. As usual, our dog got his seat pad and lay motionless on the chair next to his owner. When the drinks were served, the inn manager suddenly came over and immediately reprimanded him harshly, saying the dog had to get off the chair. "The sound makes the music" - I can see that with a larger, shaggy, drooling other animal but not in this case. Although we have been to completely different restaurants where there were no complaints. Discussion with this gentleman was pointless - hospitality is different! We canceled lunch and looked for another location - it was Italian, where Iggy was also welcome.

Visited the Bräustüble last night, got a nice seat outside..very good food..black beer roast with fried potatoes, salad and a fitness salad with fried chanterelles..very tasty..the service was very friendly..we liked it and will definitely be back definitely again!

For food we had, among other things, tarte flambée spicy and traditional and dumplings with chanterelles. Main courses were very good. Afterwards something sweet, the variation of everything was very good. The country beer from the Steinkrug is a recommendation. Staff is very nice and attentive. Good, clean, fast despite the store being full. The outside area is pleasant. Unfortunately it's just a bit hard to sit. All in all, still highly recommended.

Waited almost an hour for the food, the waiter wrote down the order incorrectly, received 3 main courses instead of side dishes and then charged the full price.

The atmosphere at Fürstenberg Bräustüble is relaxed and inviting. There is space to sit, both inside and outside, and the decor is tasteful and cozy. Especially on sunny days, the outdoor area is a wonderful place to relax after a bike ride and enjoy the surroundings.

It was our first time in this city and we visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. My assessment: The atmosphere of the place, the optics, the cleanliness of the washroom perfectly meet all expectations. I would like to highlight the automatic doorknob hand sanitizer in the washroom, as well as the cozy bird whistle in the washroom. The tables and chairs, as well as the environment, are pleasant, not ostentatious, and clean. The staff is polite, dressed according to tradition, kind, attentive and helpful. I would like to point out here that since only one of us ate soup, the server asked if he could bring out the order at the same time. He also informed me about the expected preparation time of the food. The food: The food was extremely tasty, the portions were generous, but not overwhelming. It was a huge surprise for us, we were in the Bräustüble. The service was very accommodating, friendly. And then the highlight, a tour of the brewery. You really have to take part. There was also a drink. Super nice experience. 😊🍺 I felt very comfortable.

A traditional restaurant in a great location in Donaueschingen. We ate there as a group of about 25 people. The waitresses were very nice and got along well with the large group. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food, the portions were relatively small and therefore very expensive and, above all, very different in size from plate to plate, the cheese spaetzle and apparently also the dumplings were pretty tasteless. I find it inappropriate to have to pay extra for a small helping of sauce.

I was only there for a short time. drank beer. The restaurant is very well furnished. Some regulars were there. The waitress knew them. If I were around more often, I would definitely be there more often...

Dry roast pork slices with a small salad (heaped in a kind of tea cup) for around €18. All side dishes are extra. It wasn't worth the money but no reason to write a review. When the weather was beautiful, the only guests who didn't want to sit in the blazing sun were seated indoors at a table in the walkway to the kitchen and toilet by the apparently overwhelmed and arrogant operator. No reason yet either. However, a radio station was playing relatively loudly with completely horrible music. We asked the waiter to turn it down a bit or, better yet, turn it off (we were the only guests inside). After the third request and after the food was on the table, the waiter informed us that the boss wouldn't do anything about it, Basta. Accompanied by the latest war reports from Ukraine, loud shouts of “Lidl is worth it”, interrupted by annoying, simply bad music, we washed down our borderline food with lots of beer. Luckily my wife had ear plugs with her and we hurried to leave this unfriendly and annoying place. That's what it's like when you let yourself be lured by a 4-star review (however it came about) to a restaurant in a good walking location, where an apparently over-saturated and blasé operator no longer needs it.

Price / offer: Very good. Food also tastes great. Service polite. Ambiance is also great, but outside right next to the street - can be a bit noisy.

The owner of the brewery made fun of our choice of drinks and insulted us several times as “softies”. We were also made to look stupid by a service staff because we had a jacket with us for the evening in warm temperatures. I have never experienced such disrespectful behavior from an owner and a service person towards customers (35 year old men). The Braustüble is not recommended for guests from big cities - the attitude of the staff is unfortunately still too biased and too narrow-minded.

Hospitality has a name: “Bräustüble” We were able to eat very well there in a beautiful room. The staff were very courteous and attentive. A special feature was that the innkeeper rushed out of the door onto the street to help a driver who had lost his way in his tractor-trailer and had to reverse on the main road. Simply a wonderful human gesture with rarity value. Respect.

I would like to briefly describe our reservation for May 30, 2024, as it is not my style at all to give a one star review, as I am well aware of my position as a 7 star reviewer. We made a reservation for 10 people and called for 7:30 p.m., we were not told that the kitchen closes at 8:00 p.m. We got there at 7:45 p.m. We were then told that we wouldn't get anything to eat because the last order had to be placed at 7:45 p.m. In my opinion, this is a “no go”. Especially since it was very embarrassing for the managing directors and business partners present. In this day and age, it's not possible on a public holiday to be praised in a “friendly” way. Therefore, I cannot expressly recommend the service. I can't say anything about the quality of the food, and it shouldn't be the subject of this review.

Yes, but I don't think it's a good thing that you only get a salad with the main course (but it was big and tasty). So you have to order and pay for side dishes and even the sauce separately. For the portion of fries I got with my meat, I thought that was extremely little. But the taste is really great. Yes, and unfortunately I can only confirm what other customers have already complained about about reordering the drinks.

The Bräustüble is always good for a stop. There is even a real regulars' table here. Outdoor dining is better than going to the cinema with a well-tapped Fürstenberger Pils. Served with humor. Food GB. Staff *****.

If someone wants to make themselves important with stupid comments here, then they are in the wrong place. The person who made a comment like "Gloria and Christoph would be absolutely unfriendly" was either in the wrong restaurant or is not satisfied with themselves and their lives. I know both Gloria and Christoph personally. Both are absolutely very nice hosts and always show respect towards their guests. So it would be best for the person who wrote this comment to stay in Stuttgart or Sindelfingen with their friends and badmouth the restaurants there. Because he and his friends don't belong here. We ate there yesterday and were shocked. Prices are definitely hefty for what you have on your plate. First of all, we had a service worker who had her first day in the restaurant on Father's Day when everything was packed? Sorry, but you can't expect the poor woman to do that, she's totally overwhelmed by the act and sorry, she tried really hard and was nice, but the boss should think about something like that! In general, the friendliness was very mixed. Then the side salad was totally tasteless, potato salad was 1 teaspoon. A friend of ours had a pork knuckle that was completely dry, two of us had a mixed sliced ​​pork chop that was OK but cold. Schnitzel with fries was good. And the toilet paper holder in the toilet was broken and the cleanliness is debatable. I expected more given the prices, but unfortunately we were very disappointed.

Good regional food selection. Large portions at fair prices. Leftover food can be taken with you in the container provided. Nice service and short waiting time. Unless you order a fresh knuckle, that takes 45 minutes. Before that there is a salad for those who are hungry. We had schnitzel and cordon bleu. Table reservation recommended. Gladly again!

We had a veal schnitzel and a knuckle. Plus beer and white wine. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was to my liking (rustic) and the service was very accommodating. Small special feature: the country beer was served in an ice-cold stone mug. Very nice :)

The beer tastes very good. Unfortunately, the selection of vegetarian dishes is not very large and they are also very expensive. I find 20€ for cheese spaetzle and 16€ for a schnitzel very unreasonable, considering animal welfare and environmental aspects. The vegan dishes are also very expensive. Very unfortunate.

The classic brewery! Eat what you would expect there, from sausage salad to black beer roast to knuckle. In addition to regional beer (bars), there is also good wine and schnapps. Even though it sometimes took a while to order, we were very satisfied, the service was very nice and humorous and the food we ordered was good. Card payment was also possible. It was a great evening in the brewery.

Were there as a group. Six adults and one child (3 years). Had reserved in advance. There was already a children's menu with pens on the table, which was actually a nice gesture, but that was it. Went there very early and ordered first. We wanted a dish that was a little different than what was on the menu, but it was rejected (for whatever reason, we always thought the guest was king). The dining room was filled and EVERYONE got their food before us. Even when asked if they could at least have food for the child (a portion of fries), they were totally inflexible. We were made to wait for 45 minutes and to make matters worse, the child's food was by far the last to arrive. We even had to point out to the waitress that the food was missing. In terms of taste, most of the food was okay but not great and very expensive. Portion of Kässpätzle for over €14, the portion was very manageable, the cheese tasted very neutral and there was still a lot of cream in it. All in all: We won't be coming back!

Went there to eat during the week in December... 2 weeks before I had eaten the sausage salad with pleasure... but that evening it was inedible... pickled onions, too oily and tasted like nothing... It had probably been prepared in the fridge. So dried berries and sprouts have no place in a sausage salad... It's a shame, but this restaurant has probably seen us for the last time!

Except for the salad, the food was horrible, Maultaschen were made with a very obscure filling. Tasted like pork but with too much breadcrumbs. The sauce was completely over salted. The lentils weren't cooked, the sauce had too much vinegar and even the spaetzle from the bag was overcooked. My son's fries were completely over salted. The schnitzel, well. The salad, however, was great. And that for the price Price performance ratio is absolutely not right

We can't rate the food, but the beer is very tasty 👍🏼 Mr. Kuttruff gave us great advice on the order of the beer tasting and the service was also very friendly and funny.

Salat, Kalbsschnitzel mit Spätzle und Pilzrahmsauce waren diesmal super! Der Service - nun ja, man war "sehr froh", dass die Enten schon am Vortag alle weg waren. Interessant, noch froher wären wir gewesen, wenn die telefonisch versprochenen Enten erhältlich gewesen wären. Frühere 2-Sterne-Bewertung 2022: Der Salat: kreativ mit verschiedenem Gemüse, Pilzen und Kartoffeln. Das ist allerdings Geschmacksache, mir zu viel Flüssigkeit und gefühlt einiges aus der Konserve. Das Steak: ganz schön zäh und ziemlich roh für medium. Das alles für einen stolzen Preis.

Bester Schweizer Wurstsalat 👍 mit einem frisch gezapften Fürstenberg Pils 🍺 kann ich nur weiter empfehlen 😋 ...ich war mittlerweile wieder dort, hat leider nachgelassen, schade 🤨 auch der zuletzt gegessene, 'Schmetterling Optik Wurstsalat' lässt zu wünschen übrig 😕

Sehr leckeres Essen und super freundlicher Service

Gut Bürgerliche Küche. Waren zum ersten Mal da. Die Bedienungen super freundlich und auch auf Zack. Das Essen war absolut in Ordnung und einem Brauhaus angemessen. Preis Leistung passt auch. Nächstes Mal dann mit Bierprobe....

Mein Vater und ich kamen kurz nach 18 Uhr in das Lokal um etwas zu essen. Das Restaurant war relativ leer, allerdings standen auf fast allen Tischen Reserviert - Schilder. Als wir an einem Tisch ohne Schild Platz genommen hatten, kam ein sehr unfreundlicher Mitarbeiter, der uns harsch mitteilte, dass der Tisch reserviert wäre. Einen anderen Tisch wollte er uns auch nicht zuweisen. Wie wir ohne Schild die Reservierung hätten erkennen sollen, blieb das Geheimnis dieser brillianten Geistesgröße. Etwas erstaunt verließen mein Vater (88 Jahre) und ich diese "tolle" Lokal. Zum Essen können wir daher nichts sagen, außer dass einem in dieser ekelhaften Atmosphäre der Appetit schnell vergehen kann. Wir werden selbstverständlich niemals mehr einen Fuß in dieses Restaurant setzten und empfehlen das auch niemanden.

Habe Entenkeule gegessen war leider sehr trocken als Beilage Knödel leider auch trocken. Lieber bei einem Besuch Schnitzel oder Schwarz Bierbraten essen das sah super aus

Eten was goed de bediening niet echt vriendelijk (Oudere serveerster).

Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich und schnell. Die Saisonkarte wechselt regelmäßig und bietet neben der Hauptkarte immer tolle und neue Gerichte an. Hier fühlen wir uns wohl und kommen immer gerne wieder.

Ein toller Ort. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt auch wenn wir dort aufgrund der Kurzfristigkeit an einem Samstag Abend keinen Tisch bekommen haben. 1. nett und aufgeschlossene Begrüßung 2.das Ambiente ist urig und schön 3. das nächste mal kommen wir essen und vor allem !! trinken was 🙂🙏 Euer Bier ist auf jeden Fall hervorragend.

Hier ist es nach dem Wechsel wieder etwas besser geworden... Mittags am Dianabrunnen in der Sonne.. Frisches Fuerstenberger Radler, Zwiebelrostbraten zwar nur mit gedünsteten statt geschmelzten Zwiebeln, doch perfekt gebraten, Salat und Bratkartoffeln auch ganz gut. Der Service war sehr nett und schnell! .
