Wir waren zu zweit am letzten Sonntag, die Bedingung war katastrophal.... Wir wollten Mittagessen, es war 11.45 Uhr, da sagt uns der Kellner das es am Sonntag keine warme Speisen gibt, 20 min. Später bringt er selbst an drei Tische warmes Essen, ich Stelle ihn zureden, sagt er mir wortwörtlich, er hätte es nicht gewusst....🙁☹️☹️☹️ Das geht ja GAR NICHT, ich denke in Service wenn Mann das nicht gerne macht, soll man Zuhause bleiben, tolles Lokal Bedingungen schlecht 🙁🙁🙁

Grundsätzlich ne wunderschöne Location. Hatten wir einfach nur Pech? Ich hoffe es. Es war sehr viel los. Und die Angestellten offensichtlich absolut überfordert. Der Tisch (im Außenbereich) war staubig und es stand bzw lag noch ein Glas der vorherigen Besucher plus ein benutztes Taschentuch herum. Nach über 20 Minuten in denen wir mindestens 2x darum gebeten hatten bedient zu werden, kam endlich ein Herr um unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen. 5 Getränke und 4 Stücke Kuchen. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten wurden die Getränke gebracht. Als wir dann 30 Minuten nach der Bestellung nach dem Kuchen gefragt haben, hieß es der würde sofort gebracht. Nach einer Stunde haben wir aufgegeben und um die Rechnung gebeten. Auf der "natürlich" auch der Kuchen stand. Den wir nie bekommen haben! Der Kuchen wurde dann auch von der Rechnung storniert. Wenn ich nochmal hingehen würde, nur wenn nix los ist. Denn mit vielen Gästen an einem sonnigen Sonntag scheint das Personal überfordert zu sein...

Das Essen war wie gewohnt gut. Der Service war leider zum wiederholten Mal absolut unterirdisch. Nach 50 Minuten hat sich jemand erbarmt, nach Getränken zu fragen. Aber nur, weil ich lautstark eine Servicekraft an den Tisch bat. Nach 90 Minuten kam dann das Essen. Das ist eindeutig nicht akzeptabel, egal wie viel los ist.

Cappuccino ist gut, auf den Kuchen warten wir immer noch. Die Bedienungen wirken überfordert, können die Bestellungen den Tischen nicht zuordnen. Eigentlich scheitert es nur am Service.

Tango-Event beim Bad Homburger Sommer: Die bedienenden Männer im Getränkewagen draussen waren so arrogant und unfreundlich wie selten erlebt.

Der Garten hinter dem Haus ist sehr schön. Innen könnte man noch einiges schöner machen.

Die Kuchen und das allgemeine Ambiente gefielen mir, aber der Kaffee ist nicht gut, was schade ist, da es das einzige Café im Park ist.

Zu meiner Geburtstagsfeier in der Orangerie Mitte Mai 2026: Beratung & Vorsprachen waren nicht nur 1A *****, sondern haben das Arrangement durch wunderschöne Raumgestaltung, perfekten zugewandt-aufmerksamen Service, sehr leckeren Kaffee & Kuchen, insbesondere das superleckere Abendessen übertroffen! Der Tag in der Orangerie wird als Hochgenuss lange in sehr positiver Erinnerung bleiben: Ein dickes Dankeschön an alle Mitarbeitenden!

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Besuch in der Orangerie. Das Essen war hervorragend – frisch, geschmackvoll und liebevoll zubereitet. Auch der Service war erstklassig: Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die wunderschöne Aussicht, die den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem macht. Das Ambiente ist angenehm und einladend, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlt.

So eine wunderschöne Location, wo es seit Jahren nicht geschafft wird, freundliches und kompetentes Personal zu engagieren. Der Service ist wirklich eine Katastrophe. Nicht nur neulich, jedes Jahr, wenn wir dem Café eine neue Chance geben :-( Die Tische draußen sind so dreckig und die Kissen wurden seit Jahren nicht gereinigt. Als wir neulich dort waren kam hinzu, dass der Kellner uns ein letztes Stück Erdbeerkuchen gebracht hat, was allerdings nur halb so groß war wie alle anderen Kuchenstücke. Wir fragten freundlich, ob es dann auch weniger kosten würde. Schließlich diskutierten drei Kellner und eine zickige Kellnerin mit uns und wir haben keinen Preisnachlass bekommen. Die Arroganz war unterirdisch.

Ich war vor Kurzem in der Orangerie und war wirklich begeistert. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Besonders schön fand ich das stilvolle Ambiente und die entspannte Stimmung. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Essen und Getränke waren sehr lecker, frisch und liebevoll angerichtet. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Insgesamt ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkommt. ob für einen Kaffee, ein entspanntes Frühstück oder einfach eine schöne Auszeit. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

Fantastischer Ort und toller Service! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Der Osterbrunch war ein Vergnügen: gut gelaunter, hilfsbereiter Service, eine große Auswahl am Buffet und auf den Punkt gebratene Hauptspeisen mit herausragender Sauce. Das Gesamtpaket stimmte – die Familie war sehr zufrieden! Danke.

Eigentlich schade, so eine tolle Umgebung im Kurpark von Bad Homburg, und dann so ein unterirdischen Service. Am Sonntag nachmittag waren die Tische total staubig, offenbar schon tagelang nicht abgewischt. Unser Bitte nach der Verwendung eines Lappens wurde unwillig nachgegangen, die Ecken des Tisches blieben dreckig. Der Service war genauso schlecht. Es gibt viele Tablets aber die Bedienungen irren herum und finden die Tische nicht. Der Anspruch der Bilder und das Marketing entspricht nicht der Realität und ist dem Kurpark unwürdig. SCHADE.

Sehr köstliches Essen . Ein schöner Platz

Wie unfreundlich kann man sein? Meine stillende Frau wollte heute während ein Spaziergang unser Sohn stillen und wickeln, wonach Sie dann ein Mitarbeiter gefragt hat. Der Mitarbeiter weißte darauf, dass das nie ein möglichkeit war (Obwohl es in die Stadbrochure für stillende Mutter so stand). Das war aber nicht mal ein Problem. Das Problem ist eigentlich der Ton und Verhalten des Mitarbeiters. So unfreundlich und unnötig arrogant kann man einfach nicht sein. Von unsere Familie wird hier auf jeden Fall kein Besuch erfolgen, niemals.

am 01.03.2026 die ersten Sonnenstrahlen genutzt und hier gegen Abend kurz eingekehrt. Service sehr aufmerksam, überaus freundlich und flott. Sehr guter Cappuccino! Sitzen im Aussenbereich war schon möglich und wurde auch vielfach genutzt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

An sich eine schöner Ort mit tollem Ambiente, WENN auch mal zuverlässig geöffnet wäre und nicht immer öfter einfach gelangweilte Mitarbeiter Kund tun das man heute nicht geöffnet hat,obwohl klar ersichtlich Öffnungszeit angekündigt wurde. Das passierte nun das zweite Mal und ist so einfach unangenehm . Leider im Ansehen bei vielen Stammgasten SEHR gesunken. Schade

A lovely old spot for a rest stop. You can enjoy a coffee or a meal here. The menu is straightforward. Cakes and tarts are also served. The service is friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable.

Great location. A great place to celebrate parties (birthdays, communions, wedding anniversaries). The food is so-so; considering the great ambiance, it should taste better.

The Orangery is beautifully situated in the green heart of Bad Homburg, in the spa gardens. The food today, including veal schnitzel, was excellent! Very friendly service. We'd be happy to come back.

We were there for tea, only a classic selection, no matcha. The service just placed the dishes on the table without a word and left.

I wanted a drink today at 12:20 PM. The tables outside were dirty, and there were tissues on the chairs. The waiter said they had only opened five minutes ago. So why were there already people sitting there with drinks? Strange... I was supposed to sit down, which I did... no one came for five minutes, even though the waiter knew. I've left now... embarrassing dining.

Highly trained staff, top-notch food too. The headquarters of Huber Catering, which, incidentally, is also responsible for the fantastic inventory in Frankfurt.

The place and atmosphere are very pleasant, but unfortunately, the service is terrible... long waits for orders to be taken and fulfilled... why is there no dessert menu? You have to go inside to choose a cake, but you have to order again at a table outside. For those who don't speak German, repeating the name of the cake to the waiter can be confusing and leads to confusion. The price of the cake is also not visible. Is it so difficult to take 5-6 photos, print them out, add a description, and give them to the customer?!? We visit Bad Homburg quite often, but we probably won't be visiting this place again...

Top location, stylish terrace, cool in summer, regular spa concerts, cake/cafe and food very good and reasonably priced.

Disappointing. We sat and waited about 20 minutes, but were unable to catch the eye of any staff. The nearest table had at least three people in attendance, and in one flurry of service, a waitress brought one piece of cake, a waiter brought one coffee and a third staff member took away two cups. We looked on in vain. I asked at the counter if I could get service there, but was told no. Not a great experience. It might be better at other times, but we won't be going back to find out.

We've known the Orangerie for years. The coffee and cake are always a treat. Occasionally, we even have lunch. Today, we had the Wiener Schnitzel, a classic! The potato salad was also outstanding; it tasted fantastic. You can't get it anywhere else. Overall, we feel very, very comfortable there. It has style in every respect.

A very rude phone caller who, when contacting a wedding planner, immediately assumes you're looking for something 'really cheap.' What a disgrace!

Cake selection and quality is creat and location is beautiful, however, my 89 and 83 year old parents has to wait over half an hour to be waited on to place their order (cake ans coffee) and when it finally came another 30+ minutes later the waitress forgot half their order! I observed many waiters running around aimlessly and forgetting who ordered what. They were obviously not trained and were inefficient waiter staff. Too bad management did not train them properly for smoother service on a busy Sunday afternoon.

A great location, both indoors and outdoors. Plus with a concert in the park, great. We were lucky and got a nice seat with a view of the orchestra. The order from us worked perfectly. However, the environment was quite chaotic. Ordering coffee was the problem. Here was the famous “eye of the needle”. Maybe this problem can be solved because then there will no longer be any stress for everyone involved. PS: Serving and taking away used dishes is not something the staff is used to

Actually a nice place, inside and outside, but inappropriate service (charming, less hectic would be nicer, it had more of a snack bar feel). The cake, the existence of which was not known from the menu, hardly tasted like cheesecake or cake at all, but rather like a ready-made mix mixed with water, but it still managed to leave an unpleasant aftertaste on the tongue. I didn't eat it. Sorry, but if it always tastes like it said, then that should urgently change. It didn't work at all and I feel sorry for the people who don't have the courage to say something.

Disastrous. We were there on a Sunday afternoon. Ambience and cakes were great and expensive. Unfortunately the waiters were completely overwhelmed. For cakes we had to go in and choose and order there, drinks could only be ordered outside from the waiter, despite being told that we had a wheelchair driver and seriously ill people with us. This meant that cake arrived 30 minutes before coffee and I then had the misfortune of having it poured over my jacket and trousers by the waiter. The handling of this was unprofessional and helpless. Very annoying and never again. Overall result not worthy of an upscale restaurant.

Wonderful old style café and restaurant in the Kurpark of Bad Homburg. We were lucky to catch a great performance by an Austrian style band playing waltzes by Johann Strauss and other tunes. My Käsekuchen (cheese cake) was excellent.

Great spa concert in winter every day except Mondays.

I have the impression that the older service team doesn't really care. The vibes were not very positive. The customer contact was cold and more bad than good. -> The very young employees, on the other hand, were very friendly (probably trainees). There is a lot of room for improvement! Unfortunately there was no sense of “upscale” when it came to the gastronomic service concept. Warm dishes were OK, but not great.

The Orangery in the Bad Homburg spa park, located in a fantastic setting, offers comfort, professionalism and friendliness at the highest level. The cuisine leaves nothing to be desired. Thanks for that! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Waited almost an hour to be allowed to order until we decided to go somewhere else.

We had a shoot at the location today and what can I say?! It went great from start to finish! The office (Vanessa) was available in advance to answer any questions and we could contact Katharina at any time on site. We were even able to organize the styling in the back area of ​​the restaurant without any problems and with this (and the actual shooting) we certainly offered the guests additional entertainment. Everyone involved in the shooting gave positive comments and some will definitely come back for a private visit. Thank you again!

Celebrated our wedding here. The service was great. The location is incredibly beautiful. The food, especially the roast beef, is world class. Mr. Pioda did a phenomenal job. Was very attentive and helpful before the party and during it. We received a lot of compliments on everything and are very grateful that we were able to celebrate here. 08/31/24 K+D ♥️

The Orangery is a beautiful place in the spa park. You can sit in the sun by the small pond or in the shade towards the spa gardens and the concert shell and then, if necessary, listen to a concert. The dishes and the cafe table are rather higher priced, which is probably due to the location and the "bath" in front of Homburg. The dishes and cakes are recommended. But on sunny Sundays, when all the seats are occupied, chaos can ensue, depending on how fit the service staff is....sometimes one person doesn't know what the other is doing and who has which responsibilities..... ...then you can expect a very long waiting time until one Order is taken or the staff comes in quick succession to ask what you want... some very friendly, some grumpy and completely bad at their jobs. With these prices and this ambience, guests would like to see more continuity in professional service. We have already experienced a wedding celebration there. This was offered competently by the staff and in the food and we felt extremely comfortable.

After a walk, the Orangery always invites you to have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. With a bit of luck, the spa concert band will also play. 5 stars from me.

We were able to celebrate a wonderful wedding there as a married couple last weekend. Despite the bad weather, the location and the other service providers managed to create a perfect day for us. The champagne reception could take place under the canopies, and food could be served with a delicious grill buffet in the location. The catered food was delicious and all of our wishes were taken into account. We would book an event there again and again! Thank you for everything!!!!

For the first time I am embarrassed by the service in Bad Homburg. We sat at a table on the terrace while a concert was going on. The whole terrace was filled. The nice and tall waiter let us sit down. We sat down. At some point another waitress (short and blonde) started calling out to us that it was already closed and there were no seats left. I politely told her that the waiter had agreed that we would get a seat at the table. The woman shouted at me and it was really very rude. I was with a guest and found this situation embarrassing in such a restaurant. 10 minutes after we ordered, other guests ordered desserts. Not recommended in any way, as you have to wait a long time + and the waitress cannot tell the guest which cakes are still available! Furthermore, it is very important to criticize that there is no possibility for disabled and elderly people to get into the interior area barrier-free, for example in the form of a ramp. In 1908/1909, the Humboldt master builder and architect Louis Jacobi (1836-1910) gave the building a decorative redesign, designing it as a foyer with a new colonnade. This appearance changed radically in the early 1970s, when the west wing of the core building was rebuilt and a modern concert shell was built. From November 24th to 27th, 2023, about 30 Gclubs members from 9 different countries gathered in Bad Homburg, a historical financial city in Frankfurt, Germany, to participate in discussion, co-construction, sharing and win-win. The meeting on the construction and promotion of Hpay life circle will discuss how to develop our Hpay, a new digital currency payment tool in Europe, and how to allow more high-quality merchants and services to enter our Himalaya ecosystem. I cannot agree with the previous negative reviews. The Orangie has a very nice traditional atmosphere for us, all the staff were courteous with an eye for detail and the dishes were very tasty, even if we had to wait a moment. For us, a waiting time means fresh preparation, which we are happy to accept. We always enjoy coming to the Orangery.

ATTENTION: If you want to pay by card in this restaurant you have to wait at least 30 minutes and endure the rude service.

It's always nice to come here, especially in spring or summer. The cake in particular is really delicious. Price-performance in combination with the ambience is great.

Unfortunately, when we asked a polite question, the service was so unfriendly...that we went to the competitor Römerbrunnen...the service was friendly there!!!! We're not coming anymore

Unfortunately I can't judge the food well because after 40 minutes we still weren't served (after 20 minutes we were finally able to place an order after asking, really rude service). We were able to spend the whole time next to the dirty dishes of those who had passed away. When tables were served that came after us, we left. Really poorly organized! We then went on to the summer garden at the Römerbrunnen, which had twice as many guests and where we were still served immediately.

It's not my style to criticize others, but today I felt the need to say something. Our experience in the Orangery today was rather disappointing. Although the location is really beautiful, the staff seemed overwhelmed and not particularly competent. We first had to wait for our table to be cleaned because there were still leftovers from the previous guest on it. Then it took an unreasonably long time before we were allowed to order. The service was only moderately friendly and the orders didn't come as expected. When we went to pay, the waiter who served us seemed to be having trouble with the card machine. It later turned out that this waiter was the owner, which the staff told us when we complained.

Unfortunately, the service is not only overwhelmed, but also unfriendly. A pity!

Very nice atmosphere, we enjoyed delicious café & cake here. By chance we were able to listen to the spa orchestra that played there from 3 p.m. It was a great afternoon!

Ordered coffee and cake. Service overall a bit overwhelmed and erratic. You have to ask several times where the cake is. But the spring sun and the ambience made up for it.

We were there for lunch today! Reservation super easy. Food super fresh and very tasty. What was also very noticeable was the super polite and incredibly attentive service. After a walk in the spa park, a nice spot to stop and enjoy ☺️! We'll definitely be back!

We sat outside on a beautiful fall day, the staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. The waiter himself was friendly but had to rush back and forth as he seemed to be the only one for a large number of tables. We wanted to order some drinks. The coffee selection here is just like it was in the 90s: a machine that spits out coffee at the push of a button or makes a kind of cappuccino, with or without long-life milk. There was no contemporary alternative such as oat milk on offer. We were then brought the cappuccinos by another waiter. He didn't know which of the two was the decaffeinated one, which is just as annoying for someone who is looking forward to the stimulating effect as it is for the pregnant woman who just wants to avoid it …
