Un fritto al volo nel centro pedonale di Essen. Hanno il kyosk quindi anche se non si parla bene tedesco/inglese si riesce facilmente ad ordinare. Non c'era molta folla, era un giorno festivo, e ci hanno servito abbastanza velocemente.

Great shop with extremely friendly staff who respond to all wishes.. Will come more often now.. They also had a high chair for our daughter..

Compared to my regular Frittenwerk in Düsseldorf on Shadow Street, smaller portions but a very short waiting time.

Great restaurant in the middle of Essen city center. Great selection, totally fresh ingredients, great dips. You can sit inside and outside. I also think the interior wall covering with moss is great. The portions are plentiful. Good value for money.

I was never a fan of fries with sauces or anything like that, but since I tried it again at Frittenwerk, it was amazingly delicious and everyone loved it! They're great

I order the Quebec poutine every time because the gravy tastes unbeatably good. The fries are perfect – soft and warm on the inside, nice and crispy on the outside. Every order is processed quickly and you are greeted by the delicious smell as soon as you enter. The ambience invites you to linger, and best of all: the prices are unbeatably low! If you want extras, you can add them for a minimal additional charge, but it's not a must - you can customize the poutine however you like. I always enjoy coming to Frittenwerk because everything is just right here: taste, atmosphere and value for money. Absolutely recommended!

A very nice restaurant. Food is 10/10. The vibe is 10/10 and the service also 10/10. Food arrived after 5 minutes and there is something for everyone. Lots of places. Lots of vegan and helical dishes. I recommend it to everyone🤪

Very great Frittenwerk location in the middle of downtown Essen. The staff is very friendly and the order machines all worked. As usual, the food was very good and there was enough space and clean toilets.

Fries so cold that the mozzarella didn't even melt, expensive, relatively little and a city center full of Talahons and other characters who even beg you while you eat. It was probably my first and last time. If the city can put up as many cameras as it needs, the junkie problem will at most be moved a few meters somewhere else and my humble self to another region, since I don't want to be monitored. I can also move to London, even if it doesn't have anything to do with the food It wasn't directly included in the assessment of the food, but it's still strange, it's no longer the Germany in which I spent my childhood. But well back to the food, the quality, cleanliness and product quality drops everywhere. Captain level we are sinking. Conditions and etc. but nice and everything clean also needs to be highlighted these days, but as I said, simply leaving is not enough for a repeat visit.

Always thought Frittenwerk was overrated but it was extremely worth it and would definitely go again. For the toilets there is even a special door code on the receipt (so they are clean)

I've been there several times already. I really like the food and the service. The staff is very nice. So I can't say anything bad. I really like the atmosphere on the second floor, it's very cool there. But the door to the men's restroom is broken because usually you need to enter a pin code to get in, but by pushing the door, you can enter. I don't know when they will fix it; it has been several months, and they still haven't repaired it.

I ordered Istanbul Street Frie, it tasted great, but unfortunately there weren't enough fries. That's why one star less otherwise I can only recommend it to everyone.

Me and my best friend wanted to eat fries in peace, we got fries and he immediately started counting the fries, so I did the same. The astonishing result was that he had 6 more than me: my suggestion that he please give me 3 led to a loud argument. Luckily, dear Anabel was able to settle the dispute. Fortunately, we are still friends today. However, we now regularly go to fries pervers again because they give us more detailed information about the exact number of fries. we and so are not forced to argue.

The food was absolutely delicious, a simple combination but the ingredients went surprisingly well together, the staff was super nice from the cashier to the counter team, the shop was very comfortable, there was good music, modern and classic decor were very cool. Gladly again !!!

We ordered via Lieferando. Therefore no stars for service and ambience. Food was still lukewarm when it arrived, but that was to be expected given the distance. Sizes of the dishes are good, although the currywurst + fries could have had a bit more fries. Tastes great. The sauces could perhaps be a little stronger (Istanbul Street Fries) The Coleswaw was a bit swimming but all in all very tasty and recommended.

Totally overpriced, old hard thirds warmed up again, but the real hit was the nail-biting lady behind the counter who then spit the nail away. That was the last time there. At least it was tasty the first time, but this time I immediately had to deal with nausea after the action in the direction of view. Don't you want to know what else is going on? I threw away more than half of it because I immediately lost my appetite.

We had fries with chili without currywurst for 8.30€. It just tasted very sour. The price for it wasn't even worth half that. 1 coke now costs 2.90€. Hey friends, that's cash in!

Good fries, but makes my wallet cry

The portion sizes are completely sufficient, so hunger is always satisfied. Personally, the fries are too dry for me and I prefer classic red and white fries. I don't like it when the fries are loaded with other stuff, but that's a matter of taste.

Yesterday we (my husband and I) took a break at the Frittenwerk while strolling through town. We really enjoyed the currywurst and fries as well as the pulled pork with fries. I particularly liked the decoration on the food! We'd love to come back!

I ate there on May 29th and ordered the Istanbul Street Fries ON sweet potato fries. Great portion of friendly staff and with the moss and everything just a great ambience 😊👍. Much better than the Düsseldorf train station store...
