Delicious fresh fries and ice cream in a beautiful location. Worth repeating!

The fries were very tasty, with many different toppings to choose from. Staff were also very friendly.

The fries and the dips (guacamole, (peanut sauce and mayo) were exorbitantly delicious. The fries were actually made from potatoes and were cross on the outside. Sitting directly on the Rhine was of course also very nice. The waitresses (at the cash register and at the table) were very friendly.

One of the most delicious fried meat in Germany and fries is an incredible experience 👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂

Delicious schnitzels at a normal price.

Currywurst fries were very tasty. A beautiful view directly of the Rhine. Although the owner was very busy and was alone when I was there, I didn't have to wait long for my food and was treated very courteously. I'd love to come back.

You really want to be here at least once. Today for the 2nd time. Delicious schnitzels, fries and mayo. Cozy on the river and affordable too. The owner happens to be a Dutch citizen and also speaks very good German. That says enough for me. He also knows very clearly how to make a real German schnitzel plus fries with a Dutch touch. Thank you Frieten Knaller and please keep doing it that way. We will definitely keep coming back🤗. Great👍🥳.

Food is really tasty. The fries in particular are amazing. The opening times, on the other hand, are always very random. Today the store is apparently supposed to open at 4 p.m. and now all of a sudden the store is closed. Totally weird

A snack bar on the Rhine Boulevard. We had a delicious meal. They have delicious fries and schnitzels, with various toppings to choose from. Very nice (ned) owner. And they have soft ice cream with chocolate dip!

Arrived at the Fritten Knaller. What delicious fries!! Many snack bar owners can learn something from this. The peanut sauce and the hamburger were also very tasty. Friendly staff. Recommended. Normal prices. Also Dutch speaking.

I don't understand the positive reviews but I was disappointed. The fries were undercooked and the nut sauce was terrible. For the first and last time.

This is a snack specialist with good schnitzel meals (400gr). Furthermore, the hand-cut fresh fries are of superior quality. Wide choice of sauce and component options. Sit outside near the Rhine. Do you like fries? Chip banger!

Very nice that we came across this cafeteria. The name Frittenknaller does not describe it. The fries are really a stunner; delicious fresh fries, well fried in good oil. But there are also great schnitzels and various snacks on the menu. We ate a "normal" and a large schnitzel. The "normal" one is already generous in size, but the large one is really big. And that for €12.30. We paid less than €32 in total for these 2 schnitzels, a large fries and 3 beers. And also a friendly owner and staff. And a beautiful view of the Rhine. Recommended!

Yesterday we had a delicious schnitzel on the terrace with a bowl of fries. Had the feeling that everything was very fresh. A very good price/quality ratio if you ask me. Friendly service. We will definitely go here more often to eat a schnitzel.

Leckere selbstgemachte Pommes und Saucen. Auch die Burger sind gut und lecker. Der Service ist immer gut gelaunt und sehr freundlich. Idealer Ort für einen Snack (mit Kindern) am Rhein. Die können direkt nach Essen noch zur benachbarten Eisdiele.

Der Inhaber und das Personal waren sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Lokal an sich hat auch eine annehme Einrichtung. Ich würde dort immer wieder gern zum Essen hin gehen.

Had delicious fresh fries with currywurst on a busy shopping Sunday. Despite the crowds, we didn't have to wait long and the service was excellent.

Basically good food. Unfortunately something went wrong with our order. Customers after us received the same dishes earlier, but the man at the cash register pretended that it was correct and that it was because it was busy. He also claimed to have said that it could take a long time. But the crowds only came after us. Finally got food after 45 minutes. Mistakes can happen, but be honest about it. And offers a drink or something.

A chip shop with a different menu! Pretty interesting menus centered around fries and schnitzel, plus pretty much the best vegetarian “meat roll” I’ve found! (not a vegetarian myself so I can easily compare the taste) The staff was very quick and nice, even though there seemed to be only one person at the time of my visit, he served a group that had arrived beforehand (+6 people) very quickly and then us too, while other guests were ordering/receiving takeaway!

Due to the location a little more expensive than a snack bar. Delicious Dutch snacks eaten, good quality. Friendly and attentive people at the counter.

Very clean snack bar. The French fries poutines are varied. I had the Pomme Frites with Limburger sour meat/truffle mayo. Very tasty, but unfortunately little meat. But very soft and tasty. The owner very friendly and communicative. They love their job and that’s how it should be! The fries are homemade and so are some Dutch specialties. The Bamibomb was homemade and delicious. I only know them through frozen food and they usually only taste like vegetable broth. We'd love to come back in the summer :)

Great place for a nice quick bite to eat. Unfortunately when I was there it was a bit on the chilly side. This meant I had to wear the jacket.

The schnitzel has now improved somewhat and I hope it maintains this current standard.

A great snack in a beautiful location. We each got a large fries with fries sauce and they were simply delicious 😱🤩 The portion was so huge that we could have easily fed the two of us. Price-performance is simply unbeatable, plus very nice contact and service 😃👍

Na een dagje shoppen in Kleve hier gestopt voor een heerlijke schnitzel. Zelfs de kleine schnitzel was te groot voor ons 😃 je hebt keuze uit diverse sauzen. We namen er een pommes knusperige Huhnchen bij. Heerlijke verse friet. Je proeft dat er met liefde in de keuken gewerkt wordt. Locatie is perfect gelegen aan het water. Tijdens het eten zie je de boten voorbij varen. Wij komen hier zeker vaker terug

We were looking forward to the fries, but some of them were too hard and we had to eat them with our fingers because the fork couldn't get in, the Pinda sauce was too thick, otherwise the staff was very friendly

Good snitzel with lots of sauce and fresh fries. Definitely recommended for Emmerich because the price is low and the service is good. The only downside was that it was quite cold and therefore did not really invite you to sit for a long time, because you did not notice any heating

Es ist eine sehr empfehlenswerter Ort mit leckerem Essen zu wirklich guten Preisen. Und mit dem Blick auf den Rhein rundet die Pause ab. Der Service war top und die Portionen sehr gut. Gerne wieder.

Ich habe hier die besten Pommes genießen können, seit Langem. Knusprig und gross, aber keine Einheitsform. Mit Schale, was sehr natürlich schmeckte. Die Auswahl an Zutaten ist sehr vielfältig. Von einer Portion war ich satt 😀. (Von der einfachsten Variante mit Majo und Parmesan.) Überdurchschnittlich! Auch das Softeis, Vanille, sehr cremig ist eine Empfehlung!

Heute zufällig dort gewesen und alles sehr lecker. Hatten ein Hähnchen Schnitzel und ein Schweineschnitzel, beides sehr frisch und zart. Die Pommes waren auch lecker. Der Herr war freundlich und eine aufmerksame Bedienung.

Wir sind spontan Freitags um 12:30 Uhr mit ca. 15 Gästen gekommen bzw. haben das Lokal überfallen. Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und bemüht und hat geduldig alle Bestellungen aufgenommen. Die Pommes wurden frisch zubereitet und haben vor allem durch die außergewöhnlichen Variationen herausgestochen. Am besten fanden die Gäste die vegetarischen Optionen. Man sitzt auch schön; der Ausblick am Rhein ist toll. Alles bestens - ich kann den Frittenknaller empfehlen.
