Wurde uns bei Google Maps vorgeschlagen. Abfahren lohnt sich. Günstig und lecker.

Fazit: Kein Ort für große Inszenierung, sondern ein ehrlicher Imbiss für den Alltag. Freundlicher Service, schnelle Zubereitung, gute Currywurst, ordentliche Portionen, viele Bezahlmöglichkeiten und aus meiner Sicht eine wirklich sehr gute Parksituation. Kleine Abzüge bei der Knusprigkeit der Fritten und beim Preisgefühl der Frikadelle – insgesamt aber eine absolut solide Adresse für den schnellen Hunger. --- Für den schnellen Hunger ging es diesmal zu Fritten Peter in Herne – bestellt wurde die Riemker Platte mit Mayo und Cola zum Vor-Ort-Essen für 10,40 €. Der erste Eindruck: klassischer Imbiss mit unkompliziertem Ablauf. Besonders positiv fand ich die Parksituation – es sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden und man muss nicht lange suchen. Gerade für einen schnellen Imbissbesuch ist das aus meiner Sicht ein echter Pluspunkt und macht den Besuch angenehm unkompliziert. Zur Platte selbst: Die Fritten waren gut gewürzt und geschmacklich definitiv gelungen. Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack hätten sie noch ein paar Sekunden länger in die Fritteuse gekonnt, damit sie außen noch etwas mehr Knusper bekommen – insgesamt aber trotzdem solide. Die Currywurst stammt von Dönninghaus – und das merkt man. Gewohnt gute Qualität, guter Geschmack, da gibt es eigentlich nichts zu meckern. Eine sichere Bank. Gut fand ich auch, dass mir verschiedene Saucen (Haussauce und pikant) angeboten wurden. Die Frikadelle war nicht selbstgemacht. Geschmacklich trotzdem gut und absolut in Ordnung. Beim Einzelpreis von 2,40 € hatte ich im ersten Moment das Gefühl, dass das für eine zugekaufte Frikadelle eher am oberen Ende liegt. Auf der anderen Seite muss man fairerweise auch sagen: Ein Imbiss muss wirtschaftlich arbeiten und am Ende ebenfalls seine Kosten decken und überleben – Personal, Energie und laufende Ausgaben bezahlt niemand von allein. Deshalb ist der Preis nachvollziehbar, auch wenn man als Gast natürlich automatisch mitdenkt, was man dafür bekommt. Der Sitzbereich ist für einen Imbiss absolut okay: wind- und regengeschützte Sitzmöglichkeiten und entspanntes Vor-Ort-Essen. Die Tische sind mit weisser Folie überzogen, die an wenigen Stellen schon etwas mitgenommen wirkt – optisch nicht mehr ganz so frisch, aber für einen Imbiss aus meiner Sicht noch vollkommen akzeptabel. Positiv hervorzuheben ist außerdem die Portionsgröße – satt wird man definitiv. Auch der Mitarbeiter war sehr freundlich und die Zubereitung ging angenehm schnell. Ebenfalls praktisch: Es gibt zahlreiche Bezahlmöglichkeiten, was den Besuch zusätzlich unkompliziert macht – gerade wenn man nicht unbedingt Bargeld dabeihat. 👍

Habe diese tolle Imbiss Bude auf Google Maps gefunden. Da sie tolle Bewertungen und super Preise hat, sind wir da heute mal hingefahren. Wir sind auf der Durchreise und eigentlich aus Oranienburg in Brandenburg. Das Essen war Super lecker, freundliche Bedienung und alles ganz liebevoll gemacht. Kommen gerne noch mal wieder.

Wir sind seit 2020 sehr oft Kunde aber leider werden die Portionen immer kleiner aber die Preise höher. Wäre schön wenn man bei 6,50/ 7€ Schaschlick ohne Spieß nicht nur eine halb volle Schale bekommt. Als sie noch 4,50€ kostete war sie Randvoll und mit Liebe Serviert. Und nun nurnoch die hälfte? Das sollte so nicht sein. Bitte spart nicht an der zufriedenheit der Kunden. Denn die ist Wichtig. Wir lieben euer Essen und hoffen das es wieder so wird wie vor Jahren.

Herrlich! Habe hier den Klassiker probiert auf meiner Reise nach den besten Currywürsten im Pott! Und definitiv wird man hier nicht enttäuscht! Die Fritten sind nahezu perfekt! Außen richtig kross, innen fluffig! Auf den Punkt! Und die Currywurst ist auch extrem gut! Wahlweise mit der Haus-Sauce oder der ikonischen Dönninghaus! Fazit: Hier bekommt ihr definitiv und garantiert eine der besten CPM (CurrywurstPommesMajo) im gesamten Pott!!!

Vorweg: Das Essen ist Top. Jetzt das große Aber: Zum wiederholten Male bereits um 18.00 Uhr die Schnitzel ausverkauft (Planungsfehler?). Am schlimmsten: Bitte Wartezeit mitbringen, da zuerst Lieferando bedient werden muss. Die Kundschaft vor Ort darf dann auch gerne in der Kälte 15 min warten ( nicht die auf Bestellung, sondern auf das Bestellen). Lieferdienste vor Laufkundschaft ist halt auch eine Form der (nicht)Wertschätzung. Dann eben zur nächsten Bude um die Ecke.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed today (we've been customers for years): both the Jägerschnitzel and the Zigeunerschnitzel were nothing like what we're used to, and the fries were soggy and over-seasoned. It would be a real shame if the quality were to decline like this in the long run.

Highly recommended for a quick sausage and fries. Reasonable prices, even though they offer a great sausage, for example, the Dönninghaus.

I had schnitzel delivered, not for the first time. I've always been satisfied, but today it was just pounded large and hard. Dark brown on top and light on the bottom, which is a sign that there was too much fat in it. It can happen, but it shouldn't. What really annoyed me was the conversation when I called. I've never been treated so rudely. I'm supposed to get my money back from Lieferando. They didn't cook the schnitzel, and the delivery time was fine. I'm furious.

Delicious currywurst and more, I come here regularly to get dinner on the way home.

The Glück auf Grill would be a better fit. Today I would be greeted warmly with the words "We open at 1 p.m." at 12:46 p.m. Well, that doesn't quite match the opening hours here on Google. Luckily, it's not the only snack bar around here. I won't be slowing down here again!

Unfortunately, I've had several negative experiences with the service. The lady behind the counter is very rude – and this isn't an isolated incident. This time, too (August 1, 2025), the tone was anything but friendly. Later, when I unpacked the food with my colleagues, I realized I hadn't even gotten the right thing. This is especially frustrating when you're short on time during your lunch break. I keep hearing similar criticism from other employees who have picked up food there several times. Perhaps, in the interest of customer satisfaction, they should consider whether the current staffing at the counter is really appropriate. It's a shame – because the food itself used to be quite okay.

Very large portions, super tasty currywurst, and the chicken nuggets are also super tasty! Great value for money!

Unfortunately, I have to update my review: nothing there again today. Three hours before closing, there were no schnitzels left. And the woman who was there today (Tuesday, June 24, 2025, around 5 p.m.) always gets rude. Maybe they should fire her. She's not really suited to service. The selection is good, but not everything is in stock - for the fourth time in a row, there were no schnitzels. Maybe they should consider stocking up. Review updated: Thanks for the feedback. We tried it again today and got schnitzel. It was very tasty, and the service was good today too!

Best address for a quick snack. Very tasty, especially the curry sauces are unbeatable. Staff always nice. Prices are also reasonable, which is saying a lot these days.

The food is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere has to be shared with smokers. We're in luck, they're gone right now.

That was the best currywurst I've had in a long time. Highly recommended. Large portion. Extremely delicious. The people are very friendly. Very good price performance ratio. All dishes very fresh. It wasn't the last time we were there! The only drawback is that you can only sit outside. Although with a wind curtain. But the weather is super cold.

Fritten-Peter has the very best currywurst/fries! Unfortunately, I no longer receive deliveries via Lieferando because I'm now outside the radius in BO-Grumme (even though I haven't moved). Finally found a really good German chip shop again. Food tastes great, service is friendly and fast. The selection of dishes is good and the prices are okay. Gladly again

Nice service, super tasty currywurst fries for my taste 😀 The fries are normally cut and well fried, the sausage is spicy and tasty (I think Dönninghaus), not wobbly. There are 2 sauces, the house sauce with a normal spiciness and the spicy version, which I prefer 👍 The prices are good and you can also eat outside under cover. I can't say anything about the other dishes because I've been happy with C-W-P 😂 so far.

Sorry, that was really bad today, when you pound a pork schnitzel so thin that it's 5mm thick...it can only be cruel and then it's left in the fryer for too long and you couldn't cut it, let alone eat it...the fries were well seasoned, but soggy, the cream cucumber salad was warm because it was frosted on the fries...last but not least...if you deliver and don't deliver in thermoboxes...you should use suitable packaging and not old school with tons of paper...that was crap

One of the best snack bars we know. The original Doenninghaus Currywurst is available here. We always enjoy coming here...even in winter.

Small selection, but what is there tastes very good. Had a Jägerschnitzel today and was very satisfied. Big, juicy, very tasty and the price is right too. There is a bonus card system and if you eat on site there are even plates and no disposable tableware, which is something I wouldn't expect from a car like this. Anyone looking for a good snack in the area will find it here.

I ordered and the completely wrong food came. When I called, an extremely unfriendly employee answered and said that she couldn't do anything about it and that the boss would call me back. After 15 minutes nothing. So we called and the boss was on the line. Anyone who now thinks a solution is in sight is far from the truth. The boss was even more rude and told me the money was gone and there was no way. Absolutely underground! The food that came wrong was absolutely subterranean and mushy and went straight into the bin. Conclusion: I can only advise everyone not to order from this lousy store, it's just an impudence and fraud!

Tiptop best chip shop far and wide, great shish kebab, when Peter himself isn't there it sometimes takes a while but good things take time. 😅

We ordered from “Fritten-Peter” for the first time today and are thrilled. As delicious as you know it. We had the "Riemker Platter". Currywurst and meatballs were very tasty and the fries were on point. Keep it up! Unfortunately, the typical, good “Manta plate” hardly exists anymore. We will order again.

Went there today by chance, looked for the best chip shop in the area thanks to Google maps and went there. We weren't disappointed. Friendly service, seating, fair prices. The most important thing: delicious fries. I had the Peter special fries with fried onions and Joppie sauce. If we were in the Flottmann Hallen again, we would stop by again!

Bester Pommes Wagen weit und breit 😃 Es wird immer schwieriger hier in der Umgebung mal eben ne leckere Pommes Currywurst zu essen. Vor allem Sonntags war dieses immer unmöglich. Dank Fritten Peter aber nicht mehr 👏🏻 Ich bin meiner Nachbarin so Dankbar für diese Empfehlung. Mitarbeiter immer freundlich. Essen top 👍🏻 Geschmacklich top 👍🏻 Preislich top 👍🏻 Portion riesig 🤤 Wenn man das Essen mitnimmt, wird es richtig gut verpackt und es gibt sogar eine Tragetasche dazu. Essen vor Ort hat einen besonderen Charme. Nichts besonderes aber ausreichend.

Das war leider nichts. Personal nicht wirklich freundlich. Rinderkroketten waren nicht durch, sondern noch gefroren innen. Als ich damit nochmal zu der Dame hin bin, um sie zu beten, diese nochmals in die Friteuse zu legen, kam etwas patzig „das passiert, woher soll sie wissen, dass sie durch sind, sie kann nicht reingucken“. Die Pommes waren ok, aber die bekomme ich woanders auch. Da gehen wir leider nicht nochmal hin.

Die scharfe Currywurst war nicht scharf 🤷 dafür kalt!! Kaffee gab es auch nicht und unter dem Unterstand zum Essen wurde man auch nass !! Also muss ich nicht nochmal hin 😕 die Bedienung war aber Topp 👍

Der Mantateller war OK, am Stand gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten mit einem Dach. Die Speisen sind bezahlbar und werden vor Ort auf einem Teller serviert. Satt wird man, es schmeckt auch... Romantik kommt eher nicht auf.

Wenn ich nur noch 4 Stunden zu leben hätte und ich könnte 3:45 in die eine Richtung zu meiner Familie fahren oder 3:45 in die andere zu Fritten Peter, dann würde ich definitiv zu Peter fahren. Spaß beiseite, als gebürtiger Bochumer halte ich Peter für eine der besten Adressen für Pommes Currywurst in der Stadt und darüber hinaus natürlich im ganzen Pott. Immer Heiß und Lecker, Riesen Portionen, faire Preise - echte Dönninghaus und auch die anderen Sachen auf der Karte wie das Schaschlik schmecken super. Immer wieder gerne hier, nur zu empfehlen !

Eine echte Pommesbude wie es sie bei uns nur noch selten gibt. Pommes Currywurst ist spitze, gerade die Haussoße. Der Schaschlik ist mega und weiter kam ich bisher nicht, weil es einfach zu gut ist.

Ich und mein Vater waren auf dem Weg in den Urlaub und hatten Hunger. Da wir auch dringen tanken mussten fuhren wir von der Autobahn und entdekten diesen leckeren Imbiss die Damen an der Theke waren sehr freundlich und das Essen war der Hammer. Viele Grüße Ben und Stefan

Endlich mal jemand, der weiß wie Pommes sein müssen! Portionen und Preise immer noch gut, alles sehr lecker und frisch. Die Stammkundschaft kann das bestätigen.

Auf einer Dienstreise bekam ich Empfehlung beim Fritten-Peter zu essen. Was soll ich sagen? Sehr nette Dame beim Service. Superleckere Currywurst mit Pommes. (auf jeden Fall die scharfe Soße nehmen – ich hab den Namen nur vergessen) Die Umgebung ist ein Industriegebiet-aber das wird durch die netten Leute und das Essen vielfach aufgewogen.

Personal ist immer freundlich und weiß wie man ein gutes Schnitzel nach Holfäller Art zubereitet. Auch kann ich das Schaschlik wärmsten empfehlen. Portionen sind ordentlich. Kann ich jedem weiterempfehlen!
