I definitely give this restaurant 5 stars in every respect! My wife and I went there for dinner yesterday... Super friendly, with a touch of humor throughout, it was a wonderful experience! The food, the decor, and the cleanliness were simply top-notch! Many thanks to the entire staff! See you again soon!

I know they used to be good, but unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, service, or anything else today, as we didn't get to eat. We made a reservation for 11 people the day before. When we got there, they made us wait 15 minutes. Then we asked again what was going on, since we had a reservation, and the only answer we got was that we'd have to wait at least another 20 minutes because it was full. I personally think that's a disgrace, since we had a reservation, and 11 people were depending on it. We then had to figure out where to get something to eat. It's a shame that you can't rely on their word anymore.

Absolutely not recommended! We reserved a table for 11 people and waited 15 minutes. When we asked again how long it would be, they said at least another 20 minutes. So, having to wait over half an hour (at least) despite having a reservation is unacceptable. Not reliable. Not professional. Not worth it if you want to have a nice evening.

This was my second time eating at Zorbas, and I'm not a fan of Greek food. But I have to say, I absolutely recommend it. It's best to reserve a table, as the place fills up quickly in the evenings, and I think it's a matter of luck if you get a table spontaneously. The service is really excellent. Relaxed, friendly, and always cheerful. Parking is rather limited. But you can usually find a spot on a side street, and a few minutes' walk after dinner doesn't hurt. I'll definitely be back. The food was delicious and plentiful. But what I really want to highlight is the extremely friendly and witty service staff! It's great that there are still such friendly and dedicated people in the restaurant industry today! This gentleman really deserves an extra star! Thank you for the lovely evening!

If you're looking for a Greek restaurant within a 30km radius of Schwenningen, this place is always on your radar. We were at Zorbas today for the first time in many years, and nothing, absolutely nothing, has gone down! The food was fantastic! The staff was absolutely fantastic, and the prices haven't gone up as much as elsewhere. We had breaded feta cheese served in a cast-iron pan, very well seasoned, with some bread as a starter. Then we had the gyro in Metaxa sauce with croquettes, and the gyro with fries and tzatziki, each with a small salad. To drink, we had a 0.4l Spezi and two wheat shandy. The ouzo to start and finish were excellent. The price is especially impressive: less than €60, and that's with this level of service, the friendliness radiated, and the quality offered. Hats off to this top-notch hospitality! Not so long ago, we paid €90 for this amount, and the quality wasn't nearly comparable! If more than 5 stars were possible, we would give them. And if I'd known the calamari was so great, I would have skipped the gyro and ordered this instead. We'll definitely be back, even if it's a long drive. (One last thing: reservations are recommended. We were there today at 12:30, and by 12:50 the tables were full, which speaks volumes about the quality.) Thank you for letting us visit you!

Having dinner at Zorbas at the end of the holidays has become a tradition to us. We actually stay at Villingen on purpose for that. Why? What makes this place so extraordinary? Everything!!! The food, the personnel, the beauty of the place… last night (August 3rd 2025) we arrived at 20:30 but they welcomed us and made us a wonderful dinner even if the kitchen was about to close. And Zorbas is the only place where I can eat liver (which I usually don’t like). Thank you guys, see you next year!

The service was impeccable and they gave you the feeling of Greek hospitality in a different way with the way they all spoke the music! The five of us were at the Greek restaurant Zorbas last night and were looking forward to a relaxing evening, but it quickly turned into a horror evening. The room we sat in was so narrow that it was almost impossible to get to the toilet. There was a group of extremely loud people sitting around us who were obviously celebrating a birthday. Of course it's understandable to want to have fun, but the recklessness with which these people behaved was truly intolerable. We couldn't even hold a conversation at the table and finally decided to pay quickly and leave. The staff and the boss didn't even seem to have the idea to politely ask the loud group to calm down a bit. At some point the noise level was so high that other guests also started paying and wanted to leave. Even as the group continued drinking and getting louder, there was no reaction from the staff. The highlight of the evening was when one of the women at the table suddenly insulted and insulted another woman at a neighboring table. This scene was so embarrassing that all the guests were affected. Here, too, there was no intervention from the boss. We were finally able to pay when the incident drew the employees' attention to the back area. I'm really shocked at the poor handling of such situations and would have expected something like this to happen in a pub or a train station toilet. A restaurant should be able to provide an appropriate level and a pleasant atmosphere. One thing is certain for us: we will no longer eat here.

I'm sitting here with two friends and I have to say that I'm really not a Greek expert, but I've never eaten such delicious Greek food before. So the food really tasted great. It's already clear to us that we'll be back!

There were 6 of us there and we ordered different dishes. Even though it was full of guests, we didn't have to wait long for our food. Portions are good. Meat, fish and side dishes are tasty and not dry. For us Food 8 out of 10 points Service 10/10 (staff always attentive and friendly) Gladly again

A traditional Greek restaurant that we can highly recommend. The dishes were always very rich, fine and very wholesome, as well as the right wine and the Ouzo, Jamas. The Galaktoboureko was also always a pleasure and thanks to the very courteous service from Christo and Vangelis, we as regular guests from Freiburg had wonderful Greek moments again. We were able to enjoy a successful Easter again. Efcharisto to the warm owners and his very humorous team. ;) ♥️

Funny service, quick and very friendly. The ambience is modern, parking spaces directly on the street in front of the restaurant. Very busy, seat reservations are important, going there spontaneously and asking for a seat will be difficult. A busy restaurant with lots of guests. Speaks for itself. I'd love to come back. 👍

Not experienced yet! Underground! Allows guests to come several times at the same time after making a reservation by phone, even though there are no free tables, so they then queue up like cattle. You can't beat it in terms of arrogance and arrogance, but apparently you have to have a damn need for it. Pride comes before a fall!

Waren hier nach einem Jahr mal wieder essen und es ist jedes Mal super Lecker, leider sind die Portionen über die Jahre kleiner geworden und der Preis höher allerdings ist es immer sein Geld wert!

Wow... the last time I was there was 7-8 years ago. It's unbelievable how positively she has changed. Top modern atmosphere. The service guys are on their toes... The food was, as usual, very tasty. Now that we're living in the area again, we'll be checking back regularly.

Food and service gets full marks, best Greek in the area. Reservation therefore makes sense. In terms of ambience, 3 stars only because the volume is similar to a train station hall and the tables are reserved on a piecemeal basis.

Surprise. My daughter and her family came for a surprise visit. Since she can't tolerate gluten, I asked "Dr.Google" for a restaurant and was shown Friedrichsbad Zorbas. Thank God we reserved four places by phone. The guests in front of us had already paid when we arrived and were on their way. We were greeted warmly, told that there would be a short waiting time and were treated to an ouzo. My daughter received the best advice when choosing a meal because of her gluten allergy. And the food?! THE VERY GOOD IS THE NATURAL ENEMY OF THE GOOD!!! I chose calamari with gyros. The best calamari in the world. Freshly prepared, buttery, an absolute dream. My daughter had the grilled calamari. Equally a taste highlight. Absolutely recommended. And even though it was our first time visiting this excellent restaurant, we were served as if we were regulars. This was Greek hospitality at its finest. A little piece of vacation. Price/performance ratio perfect. Highly recommended! Please be sure to reserve!

Authentic Greek restaurant 🍴 exactly what you are looking for! We had already ordered food here during Corona and were completely thrilled. Then it was renovated and the result was a beautiful restaurant where you immediately feel at home! We really enjoy coming here. The dishes are all super tasty and tasted great. Fantastic taste experience with a fair price-performance ratio. I have never eaten such delicious calamari and the gyros are also uniquely delicious. We only walk here now, even though we now have a longer route. The only thing that could be improved: the bread and a little more dressing.

Was there on October 24th. It was very, very warm in the room. So don't wear anything thick 😅 Service was also quite hectic as there were a lot of guests on site. The food was very good and is one of the better Greek restaurants. I can recommend.

An absolute highlight for lovers of Greek cuisine! At Friedrichsbad Zorbas, hospitality is very important - from the friendly service to the authentic atmosphere, you immediately feel welcome. The dishes are a real treat: freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned and generously portioned. Especially the grilled meat dishes and the homemade starters are to die for! Plus a good ouzo at the end – simply perfect. We will definitely be back and can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience real Greek flair. P.s. Anyone who knows Greece feels at home here. I have never experienced so much kindness in my life. The waiters and waitress were very warm and friendly. Our waiter “the princess” was the best waiter in Schwenningen. You felt welcome as a guest! We had an excellent meal and paid when we ordered again. We actually didn't want to leave at all. The way we felt comfortable here was just perfect. We would like to thank you for the perfect evening and the delicious food! We'll definitely come back at some point! Great restaurant with really super friendly staff. You immediately felt comfortable. Food was very good. At least the main course had bifteki. I didn't think the starter salad was good or particularly special. Restaurant was completely booked despite it being a weekday. So reservation is definitely recommended. Very pleasant prices. We had reserved the table for my birthday a month in advance. When we arrived there was already a line waiting because everything was full. We were then offered a table (the last and smallest) among the waiting people. It was an atmosphere like in a canteen. Loud, cramped and unsympathetic. We then went to the Chinese restaurant around the corner and had a wonderful evening.

I have enjoyed visiting Friedrichsbad Zorbas again and again for almost 40 years. Very good food, large selection and portions at a price for every budget. You always have fun with funny and good staff, it makes you feel good. Thank you dear Zorbas team! ❤️ ❤️

If I could I wouldn't give any stars! Starters salad was served with hair in the plate. Drink was served incorrectly twice and then not even replaced with the correct one! Afterwards you hear from the owner: “There are enough Greeks, you can go too!” / “I don’t need anything but my peace!”

One star is still too many. At least for the service. We have been regular customers for over 20 years and eat there regularly and have always been satisfied. But today was the last time because the owner was probably in a bad mood. Salad with hair served in the plate! (can happen sometimes). Drinks were delivered incorrectly several times and then not replaced with what was ordered! Dish received differently than ordered and briefly mentioned. Because we mentioned this, the climax came. We were rudely complimented with the words “there are enough Greeks, get up and go / I don’t need anything but my peace!”, in front of the assembled customers! That doesn't work at all.

What can I say? You simply feel at home here. Ultra-friendly service, very good food and a top price-performance ratio. If we didn't have to drive over two hours here, it would be our first stop. Top Greek!!!
