Last summer we photographed a beautiful wedding at Freya and were thrilled!

Excellent food, super-friendly service and great ambience, we are completely thrilled and are always happy to come back. What's particularly nice is that the menu isn't too big and changes so you can always find something new to try.

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience at Freya today. There were four of us there as a small family and unfortunately we were disappointed in the overall package, mainly due to an absolutely wrong reaction on the part of the owner, Mr. Nötel. About the food: We ordered four main courses and weren't particularly impressed when you look at the prices listed here. In this regard, there are some Lolaks in the area that are significantly cheaper, especially the former Renzis. The service was generally nice, but we found the service from certain employees to be too little for what a restaurant would like to be, and from other employees to be too much, almost artificial. We also found it annoying that we were simply called by our nicknames - we should think about that too. Basically fine for regular guests if you like it, but we were at Freya for the first time after Renzis closed, we weren't known as guests and therefore not acceptable for us. However, it was Mr. Nötel himself who shot the bird. We gave away a €100 voucher within the family, but for the attached mod, which also belongs to the Freya. After repeated inquiries, we were told that we could also redeem the voucher at Freya, as we would now be using a shared cash register system. When it came time to pay, the voucher in question suddenly presented a problem. Mr. Nötel immediately came to our table, already prejudiced and upset, and told us that the voucher would not be accepted, but that we would be offered an aperitif. When we wanted to talk about the matter and assured us that we had been given the information on the phone that it was possible and that was the only reason we had come, Mr. Nötel became short-tempered and pointed out that, in conclusion, he had “had a long day” (it was 7:00 p.m.) and when we wanted to say something, he fled from the table without comment and simply left us behind. Afterwards they brought us the bill without any further accomodation and were still unfriendly. From a legal point of view it is also difficult because, after a short research, the Mod and Freya are a joint company and not a separate company for tax purposes - so the voucher should have been accepted anyway. Conclusion: We expected more from the food for the price, but we are extremely disappointed with Mr. Nötel and his unprofessional behavior. We handed the €100 voucher to the manager/head waiter and left it because we were just disappointed. The boss can now be happy about it because he made a profit of €100 without doing anything for it - we will see in the long run whether the business was worth it for Mr. Nötel. We will make our experience known to our circle of friends and if he repeatedly exhibits such behavior and also with other guests, it is only a matter of time before the lights go out at Freya. We will not visit your house again.

We always feel very well looked after. Very friendly service, good food and nice atmosphere. The large games area in the basement means you can also enjoy family meals in a relaxed manner.

We were invited to a birthday party there. The atmosphere is very cozy. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly and attentive. There is a sufficiently large parking lot in front of the restaurant. A recommended place.

Very good cuisine, pleasant atmosphere! The prices are comparatively high, but the quality standards lag behind. Service was also very good, courteous, but being called by you is strange...seems to be the spirit of the times, whether you like it or not. Not so good, there are a lot of mod guests walking through the restaurant who can't find their way...that gets annoying after a while.

The kitchen party for FREYA's 2nd year was simply great. There was a great celebration with 7 restaurants and great chefs like Roger Achterath. The winemaker and the saxophonist rounded off the beautiful evening. Thanks to the team who looked after the 200 guests well.

Underground service idea. There was no response to my request (by email) to issue me a proper invoice afterwards. Thanks for nothing.

The menu is clear, but there is something for everyone. My daughters, who are vegetarians, also got their money's worth. We are regular customers there and so I can recommend any meat dishes. The Viennese is great, the Spare Ripq falls apart. Delicious. The service is very courteous and extremely nice. The restaurant has 2 areas, previously there were 3. The the front area in the entrance at the counter and then the rest in the main building, so to speak. We always feel very comfortable here and enjoy going to Freya. The prices are okay for the very good quality!!!!! Only recommended in my opinion

We were there on a Friday evening in the run-up to Christmas. The starter came quickly and the tartare was good. Unfortunately the main course took a while to arrive. The burger was very dry in my opinion. You couldn't taste any of the sauce. It's a shame, because the cranberries would have actually been good for the whole thing.

Brunch today at Freya by Nöthel. Simply a Christmas highlight. Next year again!!!

Wow, was there again for the first time after the change of ownership. Nothing has changed in the beautiful ambience! Not even the excellent food! In fact, service was much better than ever! We'll be back!

A very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. Despite the high price range, the atmosphere was relaxed and relaxed and we felt very comfortable here. Went here with friends after visiting the current exhibition in the Gasometer. Very friendly and attentive service. The menu is not too big and the quality of the food on offer is good. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back.

We were there for dinner with the family on my birthday; It started well with the relaxed parking situation, the friendly welcome and a drink of your choice on the house. A constant fan noise was annoying at the table near the counter; Otherwise the location is cozy and originally furnished. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to expectations; For example, the wild herb salad according to the menu was replaced with plain endive salad without any explanation. We were served by five different service staff, not all of whom were professional, friendly or attentive. We would also have been happy to have the boss Sven Nöthel to get face, which wasn't the case. We last saw him as a child about 30 years ago in his mother's restaurant "Am Kamin" in Mülheim. We followed his career in the press and were now curious about "Freya", which unfortunately did not fully meet our expectations.

We have at Freya on October 5th, 2024 married. It was fantastic everything was just perfect. In Freya you can rely on the professionals leave. Food, drinks, decoration, service, support during planning, etc. Everything was excellent. You could say it was a dream wedding.

What can you say? Perfect is probably best. Last month we celebrated our free wedding followed by a celebration in the beautiful Linden Hall. The location, the service, the food and the entire support beforehand and on the day itself were simply great. We would like to say thank you again. The restaurant is very comfortably furnished. The beer garden is also recommended. I like to eat a schnitzel there, but the desserts are also recommended. The portions are reasonable. The quality of the food is very good. The service could ask for drinks more often.

Dear Freya, We were able to celebrate our wedding with you in the Lindensaal and would do it again at any time. Your team and your location gave us probably the best day of our lives and for so many reasons. - Service: We cannot imagine a nicer, more polite and at the same time more attentive service for such a celebration. Your team was there at all times, always exuded a good mood and at the same time responded to every request. Your employees felt like close confidants at the party to whom we could always turn for help. In most cases, the latter was not necessary at all, as the service team was so attentive that the guests' and our wishes were read from our lips. - Food: We hardly have to say anything about the food - anyone who has ever eaten at Freya knows what a culinary delight awaits them. The incredible thing: This quality and taste is maintained even at a buffet for 80 people. Upon request, the team has also responded to vegetarian and vegan alternatives and can provide a nice selection of veg. dishes. The guests and we ourselves were thrilled once again! We will definitely come back for the à la carte! - Location: In spring (our wedding wasn't too far away) we received the message that the Lindensaal needed to be completely renovated. First a shock - after all, we chose this exact location because of its appearance - then excitement. The new Lindensaal is beautiful. We can't imagine a more beautiful location for a wedding. The wonderful mix of rustic and modern is breathtaking and almost no decoration is needed to celebrate a perfect party here. The free wedding ceremony took place in the Heustadl - there is and is no more romantic place than an old "barn" for us :-) The beautiful farm invited you to a perfect reception afterwards and is located exactly in the way you would imagine The midday sun can make you comfortable. - Support/event preparation: We were prepared for the wedding over 1.5 years via email and one or two meetings. We attended several rehearsal dinners, some of which were even set up like real events. What we really admired: Isa and Sven, the owners, were both always there and never gave us the feeling that they were just service providers and we were just their customers. They were just as interested in us having a great wedding as we were and will be remembered as two very nice people. If we had any questions, we were able to reach Freya event planner Tamara by phone or email. And we asked A LOT of questions, all of which were answered. Big thanks to you again, Tamara. - Party and curfew: At first we were skeptical as to whether a curfew of 3:00 a.m. (with the extension to 4 a.m. at an additional cost) would be enough. But looking back, we can say that with 4 o'clock we found a perfect ending for everyone. The volume didn't have to be adjusted either - we were allowed to accelerate until the end! It was really a great party! - Parking situation/hotels in the area: There is a huge gravel parking lot directly in front of the location, so that every guest will definitely find a parking space. There are enough hotels in the surrounding area (five-minute taxi ride) to accommodate every guest. Here, too, a huge plus point for the Freya: the wedding couple has the opportunity to spend the night in a wonderful apartment on the farm for an additional charge. This luxury saved us a lot of hassle before and after the wedding and we would definitely recommend taking advantage of this offer. We could rave about this day and this location for hours, but basically we just want to give Freya what it deserves: a review that will really make interested wedding couples want to get married here! On May 25, 2024 we celebrated our free wedding and our wedding at Freya by Nöthel with around 70 people. After an open day for newlyweds about a year earlier, it was clear to my husband and I that Freya by Nöthel would be a wonderful wedding location for our wedding. Therefore, shortly after the open day, we arranged an appointment for further discussion with the event manager Tamara. We were able to quickly and easily reserve our desired date for the free wedding ceremony in the Heustadl and the subsequent celebration in the studio. Shortly afterwards we were invited to the rehearsal dinner for all of Freya's future bride and groom. Almost half a year in advance, we decided on the timing of the wedding day together with Tamara, so that the rest of the wedding planning could continue in a relaxed manner. Almost two weeks before our celebration, we went into detailed planning and another meeting with Tamara so that everything was perfect on our big day. Two days beforehand we were allowed to hand over the decorations we had designed ourselves and all the necessary utensils for the wedding day to Freya by Nöthel. There we were also able to decide how the decorations should be set up so that everything on the wedding day corresponded exactly to our ideas. Here too, everything was to our absolute satisfaction. Even before the wedding, our guests were allowed to stay in front of and in the barn. Everything was gorgeous and decorated just as we had imagined. Of course, Freya also took people and guests with disabilities into consideration and so every one of our guests was able to enjoy our wedding ceremony. After the wedding, the champagne reception took place outside of the studio, but the interior of the studio was also already accessible to our guests and beautifully decorated. Thanks to the parasols outside, even a short rain shower and the subsequent sunshine were bearable. During the celebration in the studio, the waiters were very courteous and attentive, so that every guest was well looked after. But the service at the bar was also very quick. We booked a BBQ buffet for dinner. In addition to the meat-based main courses, there were also vegetarian and vegan alternatives, so there was something for every guest. Even the needs of severe allergy sufferers were taken into account. Overall, the food was really impeccable and was praised by many of our guests afterwards. The recipe for the pasta salad was asked several times! It should also be mentioned here that it was no problem to let the leftover food cool and take it with us the following day, so that we were provided with delicious food for the coming days. We were also given a piece of the wedding cake so that we could freeze it and enjoy it again on our first wedding day. After the celebration was over, the dismantling and payment the next day was completely uncomplicated and quick, as everything was set up and cleared away by the Freyas team immediately after the celebration was over. So we can say that we really had one of the most beautiful days of our lives at Freya by Nöthel and would always choose to celebrate our wedding there. We felt really comfortable and always look back fondly on our wedding. The entire team, especially Tamara, was always very friendly, uncomplicated and professional and was always available to help us with all of our questions. Thank you very much for everything! We celebrated our wedding at Freya by Nöthel on September 21st and were absolutely thrilled, or still are :-) The Freya was the first location we looked at in advance of our wedding preparations. After that we knew immediately that we didn't have to look any further and didn't want to. The “Atelier” spoke to us directly and was absolutely perfect for our planned number of guests of around 60 people. This rustic and modern industrial style appealed to us 100%. Simply an absolutely fantastic location. If you like it even more rustic, want to celebrate with more guests and are more into country house style, you should definitely take a look at the upper location "Lindensaal". Another plus point of Freya that is absolutely not to be despised is that you can book almost everything there from a single source. Freya has hired an employee specifically for wedding couples who could almost pass for a wedding planner. Tamara - an absolute stroke of luck - supported us, the bride and groom, with advice and support throughout the entire preparation period. At this point, thank you very much again! Furthermore, all things such as stationery, decorative elements and much more can be booked through Freya. A big thank you also goes to Mandy, who implemented all of our wishes perfectly. In addition, Freya has a large portfolio of external service providers who work closely with Freya (wedding cake, DJ, floral decorations, etc.) On the day of the wedding, everything went absolutely smoothly thanks to the great preparatory work by Tamara and the entire team. Despite their young age, the waiters assigned to us were absolutely on their toes and every guest was served in a friendly, quick and professional manner. A quick joke every now and then also helped put the guests in a good mood. We opted for a BBQ buffet (the buffets can be put together individually) and were absolutely not disappointed. Almost every guest raved about the food and drinks during and long after the celebration. “We have never eaten so well at a wedding before” The Freya offers newlyweds the opportunity to rent an apartment for their wedding night directly on site. We took advantage of this and didn't regret it. So, with the help of our witnesses, we were able to store all the presents there and just jump and fall happily into bed after the celebration. We would like to thank the entire Freya team for this wonderful wedding celebration. You made sure we had an absolutely unforgettable day that will probably stay with us forever. Thank you! We celebrated our wedding in July at the beautiful Freya by Nöthel! It was a dream! The support of the organization and the “everything from a single source” concept was wonderful. Everything was thought of, everything was implemented exactly as we wanted. The wedding ceremony in the beautiful Heustadl exceeded every expectation and the subsequent celebration in the Lindensaal was perfect from start to finish (overnight stay in the apartment on the Hof - a MUST for all bridal couples) outstanding! From the service to the decoration, not to mention the food! Craziness! We would recommend Freya and his team to anyone who asks us, because in our opinion it couldn't be better!

“Freya by Nöthel” is an absolute insider tip for everyone who appreciates excellent food in a wonderful atmosphere. From start to finish, our visit was a delight for the senses. The food was simply heavenly - from the starters to the digestif, every course was perfectly coordinated and tasted a true revelation. We were served excellent wine, which perfectly rounded off the culinary experience. But what made this evening particularly unforgettable was the incredibly beautiful ambience. The stylish and cozy furnishings immediately create a feel-good atmosphere, and you can tell that a lot of attention is paid to details. Another highlight was the extremely friendly and attentive staff. We particularly remember two employees: a loving Croatian and a warm-hearted Kurd, who sweetened our evening with their warm and friendly manner. Your hospitality made us feel like we were staying with good friends. A restaurant that we can only recommend – we will definitely be back!

Great restaurant! Very relaxed atmosphere outside in the garden and the food was delicious. There was a vegan dish that is highly recommended (Savoy cabbage roulade). The employees are all very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Super nice, lovely attentive service, food came on time, even though there was a lot of activity outside. The overall atmosphere was nice. Selection diverse. Gladly again.

Were invited to a wedding there. Ambience was good, food was also mostly tasty. Only the service was underground!!! After the free wedding ceremony, a waitress pushed her way to the bride and groom to give them a free drink in the middle of the congratulations. Where the two of them need their hands and are squeezed by everyone. Empty glasses and plates were not cleared away for ages and then later in the evening half full and partially full glasses were cleared away? So you ask yourself why? Drinks were also, for the most part, handed to people directly on the dance floor instead of being placed on their seats or at least on a nearby table. The service is very expandable.

We celebrated our free wedding on the beach on August 2nd, 2024 and then in the studio. We can only say positive things about Freya. Everything was well organized in advance and on the day itself! The employees were all very nice and the food was great. Many thanks to the whole team! As a bride and groom, we also stayed one night in Freya's apartment. This was also very spacious and modern.

Unfortunately, I didn't really like our stay at Freya's today. Even though the restaurant wasn't full at all, we had to wait a long time for service. The greeting from the kitchen, bread with a special butter, was great. Unfortunately there was so little that not everyone could try it. The chosen schnitzel was only served with a mushroom cream sauce upon request. Everything tasted good. But the price of the food was very expensive for normal food. A veal schnitzel with fries and mushroom cream sauce cost €33.50. The burger I chose was oversalted and extremely dry. You don't have to have it. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

High expectations exceeded! We had our wedding ceremony in the Heustadl and then celebrated in the entire restaurant with 120 people. From start to finish it was an absolutely wonderful day. Even better than we could have imagined! The food was phenomenal, the service was super attentive and courteous throughout the day. Special praise goes to the organizing team around Tamara and Mandy with their event design. The agreements are all so cordial and uncomplicated, but you can rely 100% on every word. Every wish is fulfilled in an absolutely pragmatic manner - you are simply in good hands! You set the wonderful stage for everything to be an unforgettable day for us. Thank you!❤️

Dear Freya team, First of all, thank you! We celebrated our wedding in the Lindensaal on July 13th, 2024. The hall was recently renovated because the roof was in danger of collapsing, but one can only say that it was even more beautiful than before! The wedding went completely smoothly, the service team and everyone involved did a great job, everyone was satisfied, especially us, the bride and groom.

I've been eating there for several years and have never been disappointed. Often it is delicious. But sometimes just to kneel down. Service very friendly and attentive. Prices have increased after the change of ownership. Still highly recommended and always worth a visit.

We were there when the restaurant was still called "Renzi's". The food was very tasty, the service/staff was super friendly and attentive. The rooms are rustic, discreetly decorated and very cozy. Disadvantage: it is very noisy, and we (7 people) were unlucky that there was a company Christmas party at the next table, which was extremely loud. I could only have a very loud conversation with the person sitting next to me at the table. What a shame!

Here we were approached by the service and made aware of the possible time bottleneck (as they saw that we were still busy taking photos), with the possibility of moving the buffet back. We can say that this is not only our assessment, but also the assessment and perception of our guests. We have received consistently positive feedback. On June 1st, 2024 we got married in the beautiful studio and were thrilled with the service, process, food and the entire team. The entire team around Tamara supports you in every way and leaves nothing to be desired. A free wedding ceremony in the Heustadl is highly recommended, this beautiful location is really a dream. An 8-course menu and a vegetarian 6-course menu do not cover my taste. No real choices. The cleanliness of the toilets does not meet expectations for a restaurant of this category. It certainly doesn't have to be the case that a dog sits on the chair at the table next to you. Quality of the food is good

Really excellent restaurant where me and my fiancée celebrated our three year anniversary. We will definitely be back and I can fully recommend it to everyone.

It was wonderful! A few days ago we celebrated our free wedding ceremony including celebration with over 100 guests at Freya. We had the entire restaurant including the bar and the Lindensaal to ourselves. The entire outdoor area was also prepared for us! The location is exactly to our taste. Food and drinks as requested and discussed - as a barbecue, wonderful! Particularly noteworthy are the service, the staff and the entire organization with the team and owners. Just great! We celebrated our wedding there and were super satisfied. From planning to implementation, everything went smoothly. All the guests also raved about the location.

I start with the “negative”, then the positive stays better in my head: The food was good! However, not as good as expected for the prices. I ate a cordon blue that was barely filled with creamed kohlrabi that could have been a little firmer (just my personal taste; everyone likes it differently). Now for the positive: the service was outstanding! The staff were always attentive when the glasses were empty, had knowledge of the subject and were able to make recommendations and respond easily to individual situations such as alcohol-free desserts for pregnant women! I have never experienced such good service! Really fantastic and highly recommended!

We celebrated our wedding in the Lindensaal in May 2024 and were more than happy with our big day! Many personal and written agreements took place in advance in which we expressed our wishes for our celebration. Everything went smoothly on our wedding day. We also booked the decoration through Freya and were thrilled with how beautiful the room turned out. We were equally impressed by the service - courteous, quick and very friendly. We also really enjoyed the food and it was delivered exactly as we imagined. All in all, we had a really wonderful day at Freya's and are happy to have celebrated our wedding there!

Yesterday we celebrated our wedding in the Lindensaal, after a free wedding in the barn. My wife and I are super satisfied! Really great food, great waiters. Our guests were all super excited and the location is simply a dream. Keep it up! Everything was perfect! Thanks for the great day!

Very good food in a great atmosphere! The service was very attentive and always there quickly. All the dishes tasted excellent and even if the Pommfritz were a bit salty, that didn't bother us. We will be back.

We were attending a wedding at Freya. Everything was well organized and did justice to the event. The food in the form of a BBQ buffet was very tasty. The staff was also courteous and friendly.

Great atmosphere for eating and also for large families to celebrate! The entire team knows what they are doing, super pleasant, nice and accommodating! The selection of dishes is also great, there really is something for everyone!

The food was of high quality, but the portions were far too small, so you didn't feel full. Ordered cordon bleu with kohlrabi and duke potatoes. Side dishes are very narrow. The dessert was also disproportionate to the price. A pity !!!

Great location (nice beer garden) and tasty food. I had the ribs and sweet potato fries and was very impressed. The marinade for the ribs did the rest... highly recommended. 👌The dishes (burgers, schnitzel, antipasti, etc.) of the other people involved were also very tasteful and well prepared. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. We will be back definitely.

We celebrated our wedding here in October last year and rented the apartment there for the whole weekend. The location is very nice and cozy. They also work flawlessly with many service providers. (Flowers, DJ, photo bus - also highly recommended!). We also had the welcome sign and seating chart standee made about Freya. Top! We were very satisfied. From the beginning we were always able to reach someone and the planning went smoothly. The celebration itself was simply great! The food was great and 99% of the staff were attentive, very friendly and quick. We and our guests really enjoyed it. The modern apartment is located directly in the courtyard, so you can fall straight into bed after the long day of the wedding. We can really recommend Freya as a wedding location. Oh and you can also just go out to eat here :) We'll do that too tonight ;)

Beautiful shop, lovingly furnished, fantastic ambience & a well-coordinated team that delivers fabulous service! The food is in no way inferior to all of this! Thoroughly recommended! We are really looking forward to celebrating our wedding there in the summer! 🙂🙂🙂

I think the service was rather slow, you had to be lucky if someone stopped at the table, unfortunately they didn't ask you if you liked it or if you wanted something more to drink. I also find it nicer for the employees to have a uniform outfit for this location; I think something like that immediately gives a better impression. Otherwise the food was very tasty :)

Although we are undoubtedly spoiled by an excellent gastronomic offering in Düsseldorf, our journey regularly takes us to Duisburg. Unfortunately, since it can't always be the great [mod] from exceptional chef Sven Nöthel, Freya by Nöthel has become one of our favorite restaurants. “Always focus on quality and guest satisfaction and keep the vision in mind” - this motto is lived here. In addition to the excellent food, which bears the owner's signature in terms of quality, regionality and creativity, and the absolute feel-good atmosphere, the wonderful service team, which perfectly masters the balance between closeness to the guest and professionalism, is a guarantee that you will find it here can spend the most beautiful evenings. Ich hatte mich mit meinen Liebsten dazu entschlossen, den zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag hier zu verbringen. Leider endete der Abend, sowohl für mich, als auch für meine Begleitung mit einem doch relativ unschönen Gefühl. Zunächst kann jedoch gesagt werden, dass die Räumlichkeiten des Lokals sehr groß und einladend waren. Das Ambiente war durch weihnachtliche Dekoration ebenfalls ansehnlich. Jedoch war schon beim eintreten in das Lokal ersichtlich, dass die dort angetroffenen Servicemitarbeiter/Kellner niemals alle Gäste problemfrei bewirten können. Grob geschätzt saßen an diesem Abend, das Haus war restlos ausgebucht, ca 100-150 Gäste in den verschiedenen Räumen, für diese Anzahl an Gästen reichten die an dem Abend anwesenden 5 Servicekräfte nicht aus. Dieses erste Gefühl zog sich so leider durch den gesamten Abend. Zusätzlich zu der geringen Anzahl der Servicekräfte, wirkten diese auch nicht professionell, was sich vorallem durch ihre Körpersprache, als auch durch ihre nicht einheitliche Kleidung bemerkbar machte. Wenn ich ein Restaurant besuche, welches für einen einzelnen Hauptgang 40€ verlangt, erwarte ich auch, dass die Kellner einheitlich und professionell (im Sinne einer/eines einheitlichen Hemdes/Bluse mit Firmenlogo) gekleidet sind, und nicht in Freizeitkleidung mit einem schwarzen T-Shirt rumlaufen. Als wir von den Servicekräften dann an unseren Tisch gebracht wurden, war dieser leider wirklich unsauber eingedeckt, Teller und Besteck waren wild und nicht ansehnlich auf dem Tisch verteilt und Teile unseres Bestecks lagen auf den Stühlen. Nachdem wir saßen, haben wir ca 20-25 Minuten gewartet, ohne das eine Servicekraft vorbei kam. So haben wir nur auf Nachfrage überhaupt die Speisekarte erhalten. Getränke dann bestellt, welche auch halbwegs zügig an den Tisch kamen. Aber auch hier wurde deutlich, dass einfach zu wenig Servicemitarbeiter für die Anzahl der Besucher vorhanden war. So stand mein Glas vom Anfang des Abends bis zum verlassen des Restaurants auf unserem Tisch und eine Nachfrage bezüglich weiterer Getränkewünsche blieb über eine Stunde lang aus. Die bestellte Vorspeise, die Vesperplatte für 2, kam mit Oliven und Schmalz, welche überhaupt nicht auf der Speisekarte aufgeführt waren, Butter und Dip der Vesperplatte gab es bereits im vorhinein als "Gruß aus der Küche", was ich etwas schade fand, da hätte man sicherlich einen anderen Dip oder eine andere Butter reichen können, anstatt noch einmal exakt das gleiche. Auf unsere Hauptspeise warteten wir nach bestellung mehr als 2! Stunden, sodass zeitweise überlegt wurde, den Besuch nach der Vorspeise abzubrechen. Die lange Wartezeit und der nicht wirklich umsorgende Service gaben sowohl mir, als auch meinen Gästen, dass Gefühl einfach vergessen worden zu sein, da wirklich alles nur auf eigene Nachfrage geschah. Die Hauptgerichte für durchschnittlich ~35€+ p.P waren okay, aber auch nicht überwältigend. Bei meinem Salat, welcher in der Speisekarte als Wildkräutersalat angepriesen wurde, erhielt ich letztlich nur einen normalen Salat mit ein wenig Tomate, welche bereits nicht mehr ganz so lecker war und ein paar Stückchen Gurke in einer einfachen Vinaigrette - also definitiv nicht das, was man sich unter einem Wildkräutersalat vorstellt und auch sicherlich im Einkauf deutlich günstiger. Erklärt wurde das ganze mit einem Kommunikationsfehler zwischen Küche und Service. Nachdem ich aber im Laufe des Abends beobachten konnte, dass jeder Salat der serviert wurde so aussah, mag ich vermuten, dass das allen Servicekräften bekannt war und somit einfach bereits bei Bestellung am Tisch dem Gast hätte mitgeteilt werden müssen! Als dann einer der Inhaber an unseren Tisch kam, bat er uns als !Kulanz für den durchwachsenen Service einen Digestiv an!. Das wäre an sich auch eine nette Geste gewesen, wenn man nicht hätte beobachten können, dass jeder Tisch im laufe des Abends einen solche angeboten bekommen hat, unabhängig vom Verlauf des Abends. Als Kulant empfand ich es daher nicht, eine Preissenkung wäre mMn definitv angebracht gewesen.

Unser erster Besuch und total zufrieden...

Mag an der Weihnachtszeit gelegen haben aber es fing schon schlimm mit der Parkplatzsuche an. Um 18.30 Uhr schon alles voll, es musste entlang der viel befahrenen Hauptstraße ohne Fußweg geparkt werden. Sehr schön eingerichtet, tolles Ambiente. Als es dann voll war, konnte man sich kaum unterhalten. Es war eine extrem hohe Geräuschkulisse. Wir hatten einen Tisch in der Nähe der Theke und leider auch der Toiletten. Extreme Geruchsbelästigung sobald die Tür geöffnet wurde. Die Bedienung war nicht sonderlich aufmerksam, auch bestellte Getränke wurden gern vergessen zu bringen. Das Essen war gut, die Portionen sehr ordentlich. Der Preis ist auch ordentlich aber das weiß man ja in der Regel vorher. Alles in allem für mich, einmal war ok, nochmal muss nicht sein.

Diese Bewertung bezieht sich auf das ehemalige Renzis: Der ideale Ort, um lecker und bewusst Essen zu gehen. Hier wird auf Qualität der Lebensmittel geachtet. Sehr sympathische Gastgeber und noch dazu der perfekte Ort, wo Eltern und Kinder auf ihre Kosten kommen. Der Spielekeller ist bei unseren Kindern das Highlight. Aber auch ohne Kinder gehen wir dort gerne und gut Essen.

Eine schöne und gute Erfahrung bei "Freya by Nöthel" eine Abend verbracht zu haben. Können wir mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben im Oktober unsere Hochzeit mit ca. 110 Gästen bei Freya gefeiert. Um es vorab direkt auf den Punkt zu bringen, von vorne bis hinten hat alles perfekt gestimmt!! Die Beratung im Vorfeld durch Frau Wiedig, war höchst professionell und absolut zuverlässig. Alles in allen haben wir eine unvergessliche Hochzeit in einem sehr schönen, modernen Ambiente gefeiert. Das Essen sowie der Service haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen und unsere Erwartungen sind voll erfüllt worden. Wir möchten uns noch einmal, auch an das Team welches im Hintergrund arbeitet, bedanken.

Hallo Wir waren Weihnachten bei Herrn Nölte im Sterne Restaurant. War einfach super. Jetzt dachten wir versuchen wir sein Landgasthaus Freya bzw. Restaurant. Der Raum war gut besetzt und sehr laut. Die Bestellung hat lange gedauert. Die Pastavorspeise für 2Personen war sehr lecker. Dann kam für mich das Hauptgericht. Hamburger mit Mayonnaise und Ketchup aus Kühne Plastikbeutel, schlimmer als in jeder Pommesbude. Ein absolutes no Go bei diesen Preisen. Für mich ist diese Adresse nicht empfehlenswert.

Äußerst freundliches Personal, sehr leckeres Essen (große Portionen) zu angemessenen Preisen, dazu kostenlose Parkplätze. Top!

Wir waren als Hochzeitsgäste dort und können daher nichts zu den Preisen sagen. Was wir aber sagen können: Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Es war gemütlich und das Essen war Topp.

Wir haben uns dazu entschieden am 11.11 hier im Freya unsere Hochzeit zu feiern! Von Anfang bis Ende haben wir uns hier auf alles verlassen können! Auf der ersten Hochzeitsmesse vom Freya und der Vorstellung der Herzensdienstleister haben wir ohne zu überlegen entschieden genau hier soll es sein! Wir konnten an diesem Tag von A bis Z theoretisch alles buchen was man für eine Traumhochzeit benötigt. Nach intensiven Gesprächen was wir uns wünschen, vorstellen und was das Freya uns bieten kann haben wir uns für die erste freie Trauung im Atelier entschieden! Die Kombination aus altem und neuen, hat diesem Raum einen Hauch von Magie verschaffen. (Passte, mein Mann alt & ich neu 😏) Da wir durch unser Gästeanzahl das komplette Restaurant für uns hatten, gab es jede Menge Platz und Möglichkeiten unsere Vorstellungen umzusetzen. Der Eingang des Restaurants wurde von dem super eingespielten, zuvorkommenden und unglaublich humorvollen Team als „Kinderzone“ eingerichtet, wo diese malen und sich zurückziehen konnten. Ps: es gibt sogar eine Etage tiefer ein Paradies für Kinder! Dieser Raum spricht für sich, weil wir kaum ein Kind gesehen haben. Der Buffetraum wurde erst auch als dieser genutzt und anschließend als Tanzfläche umgebaut. Das Essen (wir haben uns für das live BBQ entschieden) war der Hammer! Schon die kleinen Fingerfoodvarianten beim prickelnden Empfang kamen super bei den Gästen an! Das Grill Buffet war immer frisch, die Qualität hervorragend und keiner musste lange auf sein Essen warten. Die Vorspeisen und auch der Nachtisch wurden auf unsere Wünsche angepasst und genauso umgesetzt! Der Mitternachtssnack war ebenfalls hervorragend! Für die Gäste war das der nötige Energieschub um bis tief in die Nacht zu feiern (Lob an den Chef! ☝🏽 der im Vorgespräch sagte: nicht auf die Anzahl der Gäste zu achten sondern empfahl uns eine reduzierte Anzahl). Der Lindensaal war für uns ein Traum! Die Dekoration der Tische, die Blumen und die eigene Papeterie haben diesen Raum in eine wundervolles Paradies verwandelt! Alles passte perfekt zusammen und auch zu diesem traumhaften Flair der Einrichtung. Das angrenzende Kaminzimmer konnten wir als „Animationszimmer“ nutzen. Hier stand unser Fotospiegel mit einem wundervollen Hintergrund und unser Gästebuch von Herzschlaege. Aber nicht nur die Location hat dafür gesorgt das unsere Hochzeit zu unserer Traumhochzeit wurde, sondern auch das ganze Team hat es geschafft, dass wir nicht einmal das Gefühl hatten, etwas würde nicht klappen. Von den Chefs, über das gesamte Team des Freyas, jeder hat sich um unser Wohl gesorgt. Und nochmal an das Team: DANKE! Ein Team, was so viel Spaß zusammen hat obwohl es bis tief in die Nacht arbeiten muss, kann man nur loben! Von Anfang an, war das Verhältnis zu dem Team, so als wären sie Gäste auf unserer Feier. Der Service war der Knaller! Kein Gast musste lange warten und zum Schluss auch nichts mehr sagen, sondern das Getränk wurde von den Augen abgelesen 😏 Die größte Überraschung kam als beim Schleiertanz selbst die Mitarbeiter mit Braut & Bräutigam tanzen wollen, was will man mehr! Ein Team was auf einer fremden Hochzeit genauso viel Spaß hat, wie die Gäste! Unbezahlbar! Es gab kein Wunsch der nicht umgesetzt werden konnte. Wir haben uns mehr als nur willkommen gefühlt. Würden wir uns nochmal das JA Wort geben, würden wir keine Sekunde überlegen und wieder das Freya aussuchen! Ihr seid der Wahnsinn! Fabienne & Kolle

Habe mehr erwartet, leider nicht mehr als Durchschnitt. Das schlimmste war die niedrige Temperatur im Raum, am liebsten hätte ich in Jacke gegessen, schade.

Wir durften am 23.09.2023 unsere Hochzeit im Freya-Atelier feiern.☺️ Das Freya war von Anfang unsere Traumhochzeitslocation und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ganz großes Dankeschön geht an die liebe Tamara, die uns in der ganzen Vorbereitungszeit begleitet hat und uns immer mit einem guten Rat und ihrer ruhigen, hilfsbereiten Art zur Seite stand. Das ganze Freya-Team hat unseren Tag perfekt gemacht und wir würden uns immer wieder für diese Location entscheiden, es blieb kein Wunsch offen. Ganz liebe Grüße Anika&Patrick Weber

Alles super, aber auch gehobenes preisniveau!! Wir hatten einen geschenkgutschein, da war das ok, haben aber auch noch was draufgelegt. Normalerweise würden wir nicht so viel ausgeben. Super war aber, dass der geschenkgutschein, ausgedtellt vom vorbesitzer Renzis, noch akzeptiert wurde!

Wir haben im Oktober 2023 unsere freie Trauung mit anschließender Feier im Atelier im Freya gefeiert. Leider war die Trauung im Heustadl kurzfristig nicht möglich, jedoch hat das Team den Beach traumhaft für uns hergerichtet. Wir hätten uns den Tag nicht schöner vorstellen können. Die Location, das leckere Buffet und auch der Service - alles war super!😊 Tamara als primäre Ansprechpartnerin stand stets mit tollen Ratschlägen bei Seite und Mandy hat unsere Menükarten und Namensschilder genau nach unseren Vorstellungen gestaltet. 🤩 Auch als Restaurant können wir das Freya jedem sehr empfehlen. Tolles Ambiente mit super leckerem Essen.

Etwas 'angestaubtes' Ambiente, jedoch hervorragender und zuvorkommender Service. Anrichteweise nicht ganz so prickelnd. Der etwas rustikale Stil wurde durch das dunkle Geschirr noch negativ unterstützt. Fisch leider etwas zu lange gebraten. Dessert OK. Preise angemessen.

Eines der besten Restaurants in der Umgebung. Faire Preise für sehr gutes, qualitativ hochwertiges Essen, eine sehr gute Weinauswahl, eine traumhafte Location mit tollen Spiel- und Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für Kinder sowie unglaublich nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir kennen nichts Vergleichbares in der Umgebung! Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert! Sechs von fünf Sternen!

Sehr gute Suppe, Hauptspeisen und Dessert. Kaminzimmer ist leider das Durchgangszimmer. Teilweise mit deutlichen WC-Geruch.

Wir haben Ende August unsere Hochzeit mit freier Trauung im Freya gefeiert. In der Anbahnung fühlten wir uns stets gut aufgehoben, trotzdem der Betreiber Anfang des Jahres gewechselt hat. Viel Lob auch an Tamara, die immer gut zu erreichen war und auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen ist. So konnten wir auch unser Menü perfekt abstimmen. Kurz vor der Feier hatten wir noch einen Schockmoment, als uns die Nachricht ereilte, dass die Scheune als Location aufgrund eines Unwetters nicht zur Verfügung steht. Nach dem ersten Schock haben Sven und Tamara uns wirklich gut abgeholt und wir fanden einen fairen Kompromiss. Die Feier war trotz wechselhaften Wetter super und das Essen wirklich sehr, sehr lecker. Wir können das Freya bestens weiterempfehlen und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch. LG, Laura&Andre

Wir durften am 1. September unsere Hochzeit im Freya feiern. Nach einer wundervollen freien Trauung haben wir im Lindensaal gefeiert. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tag und könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Wir wussten, dass es eine gute Entscheidung sein wird dort zu feiern, aber unsere Erwartungen wurden dennoch übertroffen. Einfach das beste Team, ein unglaublich guter, zuvorkommender, aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Wir hatten uns für ein Buffet entschieden und es war einfach großartig! Nicht nur wir sondern auch unsere Gäste haben den Service und das Essen in höchsten Tönen gelobt. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Sven, Isa und Tamara, für die Überraschung, die ihr uns gemacht habt! Von ganzem Herzen ein großes DANKE! Wir freuen uns schon bald wieder bei euch essen zu kommen und werden diesen Tag für immer in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten.
