Children's birthday party: 37 euros admission, but what they serve for lunch is the unhealthiest food: nuggets. Unbelievable.

Unfortunately, it's a park that's showing its age. It's noticeable. And for the really big kids, it might be a bit boring. But for children up to 14 or 15 years old, it still has plenty to offer. You can definitely have a nice day there. Especially in summer, the park benefits from more visitors, because then you can overlook one or two flaws. Perhaps three stars is a bit harsh. But at the end of the day, there are still animals to observe, which is nice for some. I have a different opinion.

On a weekday during the Easter holidays, I visited Freizeitland with my 12-year-old daughter. The weather was quite summery, and so the number of visitors was quite high. The online tickets I had purchased in advance, which, according to the website, were supposed to ensure faster access through the express entrance, were unfortunately of no use, as this entrance no longer exists. I had gotten the tickets for a slightly cheaper price through Groupon, and there were no problems getting in. We were also able to easily pick up the free ticket for the second entry from the 2-for-1 promotion. The park is very spacious, and the many visitors are well spread out. All the employees we came into contact with were friendly, and the restrooms, contrary to what many people describe here, were fine—some of them old, but not dirty. I think it's great that—unlike at Bayernpark—you can bring your dog. I also strongly support the fact that there is no "express pass" that lets you skip the queue for a lot of money, like at Heidepark, for example. But there are also a few points of criticism: The height and age information published on the website sometimes doesn't match the information on the ride itself. We assumed that my 12-year-old daughter, who is 1.50 m tall, could ride everything on her own. Unfortunately, things turned out differently on some rides, which naturally led to disappointment, as I couldn't accompany her on all the roller coasters due to back problems. The park is very smoker-friendly. I counted at least three cigarette vending machines; there are no smoking areas; people just smoke everywhere, and cigarette butts are thrown everywhere. Perhaps this should be improved. The entrance fee is quite high for this relatively small park; in terms of attractions, Freizeitland simply can't compete with the "big" ones like Phantasialand, Hansapark, etc., but I don't think that's necessarily the intention. The prices at the restaurants are downright outrageous: for two fried noodles with vegetables, the kind you can buy at any train station, and six thumb-sized spring rolls, we paid around €30; six churros with topping cost €7.50. But you can bring your own food, and there's plenty of seating. Now, another difficult point: the animal husbandry. It might be acceptable for the monkeys in the "reserve," as they're kept this way in many zoos. Goats in petting zoos are also common. But the reindeer's miniature enclosure is certainly not species-appropriate, with so little space and no real place to retreat from the public. The Falabella ponies' mini-paddock is equally unsuitable. In principle, a sand paddock is fine, but the ponies have no real place to retreat here either. Sadly, the little mare also had a foal just a few weeks old at her side, with which she was exposed to the public all day. And finally, there was the hatchery. You can imagine what happens to the chicks once they've all hatched and Easter is over... In general, the keeping of animals, regardless of species, in an amusement park should be reconsidered. I can't imagine anyone going there for the animals; for me, that would be more of a reason not to come again... Conclusion: All in all, I had a lovely day with my daughter, albeit with some reservations. The park itself offers something for all ages, and we particularly enjoyed the numerous walk-through attractions. The animal husbandry needs to be reconsidered; it's no longer appropriate in this form. Animal parks, or even zoos if necessary, are better suited for this. I would be pleased if my review led to a rethinking of the current animal husbandry practices... Due to a lack of alternatives nearby, we'll probably come back again, but we'll stay away from the animal enclosures...

A nice amusement park but the drive home or until you can drive out the barrier is a horror. It took a good 50 minutes... Just because you collect the parking tickets at the barrier...Never like that again!!! With the previous owner it was very easy without long waiting times...

I feel sad when I see the prices! Unfortunately I had to explain to our 7 year old grandson that we as his grandparents cannot fulfill his wish to spend a day with him here next Saturday!! We are both severely disabled and each of us has to take a companion with us (and also pay the entrance fee)!! It's actually just sad that we, as wheelchair users, can't travel anywhere and have to pay very dearly just to see the individual offers!! No thanks, I'd rather go to a place where they charge different prices for severely disabled people!!

Mega beautiful park for young and old. Staff very friendly and accommodating

A very nice amusement park, despite the changeable weather we hardly had to wait for the rides. It's best to bring your own food as a family because, like in all amusement parks, the prices for this are slightly higher.

Good amusement park. Relatively inexpensive and plenty of parking spaces. A second visit was free of charge. So great. The park is clean and this also applies to the toilets, which have been criticized in other reviews. Our grandchild (12) really liked it.

Great park, very balanced for young and old. The new expanded area is great! Classic theme park prices for food and drinks. In some places you can see its age. Gladly again!

Great amusement park, I had nothing to complain about, very diverse, including a petting zoo, which was our highlight at the end.

I was there on Sunday April 26th, 2025. What I noticed negatively is that it is NOT MARKED where you are allowed to smoke and where you are not allowed to smoke. It must be clearly regulated where, for example, at Pizza Italia opposite the 4D cinema, where is smoking allowed?? According to the Non-Smoking Protection Act, I find it so unpleasant when some parents have to smoke at the table with their children while eating. There should also be clear regulations for non-smokers, which obviously don't exist!! The park makes a good, well-maintained impression. There should also be information at the checkout about which attractions are open and which are not, you pay the entrance fee so that you can use everything. If there is no information there, you will feel cheated out of your money. Another topic, weight information for the water attraction, that should be regulated differently, since many people don't have 80 kg and are over 80 kg because of clothes etc., this restricts leisure enjoyment. Just do it, up to this height a maximum of 1.50 meters and good. I'll be back because it was good overall and of course I hope that point 2 or point 1 was implemented.

Great park. We buy the annual ticket every year and often go to the park with the children. They already know the park by heart. Delicious food. Wide range of offerings for children, young people and adults.

According to Google and its own homepage, the park is open today. When we arrived, we stood in front of locked barriers in the parking lot. This happened to some other people too. After a call, we were told in an extremely unfriendly manner that it was closed today and would not open again until Thursday. Apparently you couldn't change that on the Google site. After a few clicks, we found a very inconspicuous calendar on the homepage that defines the closing days. This should definitely be embedded more prominently on the homepage. That would be a relief for potential visitors. But if you read through all the reviews from recent visitors, you'll no longer be so disappointed that your visit to the park didn't work out. We will avoid this park in the future and will not recommend it.

Not worth the money. For 45 euros per person you don't get any value. Everything is dirty, old and some rides are not open. For 25 euros it would be ok.

You can see the courage to restructure but let's be honest, what kind of amusement park is this? At the recommendation of the influencers, we visited the park. “Something is changing here” was said. We were there today on April 26th, 2025 and we were more than disappointed in the price/performance. For that price I can also go to a fair and play 'Big Spender' - with current rides!! There is also a €5 parking fee - why! The operators were more concerned with the cell phone than with security. It seemed to us that we were rather unwanted on the attractions. Each operator was so individual that we were even “scared” at times. One with skulls on his sweater, the other wouldn't have gotten through airport security. Anyone who has ever played a theme park game on the PC will find themselves here. A trash can every 10 meters, paired with a full ashtray. No unusual route, just straight, then right or left. Trees cut down so that the attraction somehow still fits, but a smiling park owner who wants to improve everything? The fries were breaded with breadcrumbs so that they would cook faster, the 'rides' were set to mega-soft (the main thing is that they don't wear out) so that they last longer. Only fairground attractions, interesting for the rural population in the area. There is a car scooter for the village youth - but unfortunately any guided walker is faster. Save, save, save, but maybe at the wrong end. Unfortunately we didn't have any fun (at all) and ended up with a bloody nose on the roller coaster... because the brakes are set so sharply that the driver in the back takes the full force of the driver in front (seat like in a water coaster). There are signs everywhere, but no one expected a brake like this. At first we thought the operator at the attraction was an animatronic, but then he moved differently than normal. We go home disappointed and will no longer be able to visit or recommend this park. When it comes to the number of theme parks in Germany, this one is currently in last place! If you have two brain cells, it's best to just take the counts with you. Very unfortunate!!!!!!

UPDATE, three years later: €212 for two adults, one child over and one under 1.40m and a senior ticket. Without further comment. So first of all - really expensive, entrance fee €137 for two adults and two children under 1.40m plus parking. The parking lot was also completely full, but things were still relatively civil inside. The lowlight of the day was lunch - we had bratwurst with fries for lunch for €25. The bratwurst came off the grill in less than 5 minutes and was actually not edible. Nevertheless, we waited almost half an hour for our food. It's better to pack your own snack and bring it with you. Waiting times in front of the attractions were limited, but we also skipped the really popular ones. The kids liked it but it wasn't actually worth the money.

Great day spent. Didn't have to wait long. Children were 5 and 9. We will definitely be back.

We had a perfect day at Freizeitland. There wasn't much going on and we were able to drive everything without waiting. We often go to amusement parks (Phantasialand, MoviePark, etc.) and were very pleasantly surprised at how many great rides there were for every age group. We would definitely recommend the park, the price-performance ratio is very good. The food and accommodation (seaside resort) were also highly recommended

Were there with our children 3, 6 and 14 years old. Everyone had fun! Great park. One star less because some animals' enclosures seemed too small to me.

We have been regular visitors to Freizeitland for years. We actually like going there and generally recommend a visit. Unfortunately we were disappointed on our last visit. We were there on time at the entrance time. But we still had to wait over 30 minutes until the park opened. Even if you notice that the park is trying to develop positively, this development lags behind the current price increase, which the park can only do to a limited extent. Nevertheless, it now leaves a rather poor impression of the price-performance ratio, also because many of the rides are already getting on in years. The cleanliness of the toilets also needs to be changed urgently.

Very nice park, a bit old but not overcrowded. Prices could be a little lower but they also have to pay their wages. Unfortunately, rides are often out of service during the day due to maintenance or repairs (a bit annoying). Virtually no waiting times on most rides. Many rides also for smaller children and medium, good variety! Gladly again.

So we are often in Geiselwind, we like the park a lot. However, I find it really sad now how he is wasting away more and more. There are toilets every few meters, which is great, always clean, but everything is rusty and outdated. The stairs at the fun house were also all rotten and broken. The pools with water, not cleaned, dirty, etc. Unfortunately, I think it's a real shame. But otherwise, whether it's food, rides, etc., we really like the park. The employees are helpful and friendly, at least most of them.

Price-performance: The entrance fee is clearly too high for the experience on offer. Some attractions were good, but for the price you would expect more. Technical problems: Several attractions were broken - this is particularly annoying Food: Overpriced and disappointing in quality (typical of many parks, but still not a plus).

Geiselwind is always worth a visit. This is our third time here and the children are absolutely thrilled, as they are every year. There is something for all ages. Some attractions require an adult to be present if the child is under 12 years old. There are toilets on every corner and there are also playgrounds to relax in between. Waiting times are moderate. However, we tend to be there in autumn or Easter, so it's never too crowded. We will come again...

I was back with my family on Saturday after 25 years. It was amazing how things changed for the better. My daughter, aged 8 (1.40), drove a lot. She and I liked the crocodile best. But we also invested a lot of time with the animals. The live actors from the horror house deserve special mention. The make-up and the “show” are awesome. This time I actually didn't dare go in, but next time 😅 They're also very nice because we met them while we were eating. There's just something for everyone. Had a wonderful and fun day

Rarely seen such poor condition, care and safety!! Everything is dilapidated and run down... The food was also way too expensive and worse than bad.

The park is ok. Some of the things are old and it shows. But our kids had fun! Entry for people over 1.40m costs €44 (Europa Park only €8 more, Bayern Park €7 less). I think this price is way too high - especially when compared to other parks! We were annoyed that things like the water spray guns didn't work after the long winter break. What are they doing during the winter break if not completely overhauling the attractions?! Parking also costs €5. We were there on the opening weekend, where everyone with a birthday in November-March had free entry from Sat-Mon (we were 5 adults and 6 children and only 2 adults had to pay - so it was totally worth it for us!). We didn't eat anything in the park. This is also very expensive.

Everything is not brand new but still highly recommended. We would love to come back...

A somewhat outdated amusement park for young and old. Here and there the paint is a bit off and there are one or two potholes on the paths, which isn't great for strollers. But in the last few years you have noticed that something is being done. It just doesn't work all at once. Lots of rides and shows. Entry and prices in the park are family-friendly / Update 2024: A lot has been renovated, improved and expanded. For that 👍. Unfortunately, this is also clearly reflected in the prices. Parking now costs extra and entrance fees have increased significantly. Gastro is too expensive for me for the quality offered. Nevertheless, we like it and especially the kids.

Very nice park for children of all ages. When the new owner took over, the park was further upgraded. Some new elements have been added. Still a great place. The change back then brought a lot of new things. It's been a great resort opposite the park for some time now.

Unfortunately the park is a bit run down. But there's a lot to drive and see for small children. But the food was extremely overpriced and extremely bad. I don't know how you can even sell something like that. In addition, there was nothing where you could warm up inside, which is a real minus point with children. I think it's a shame that something that is in the Franconian area has to be allowed to deteriorate so economically. There is clearly a lack of concept here.

A great park, not overcrowded, chilling and thrilling at the same time. Ideal for children and teenagers. The redesign is going great, lots of picnic areas, 4D cinema, new films, all in all ready for the 2025 season 🤩

It's a shame that there is no designated wheelchair parking space. It's also a shame that the observation tower was closed - that would have been the only attraction I could have visited. The wheelchair toilets are poorly signposted. When I finally found a wheelchair toilet at the Pirate Stage after searching for ages after the Safari Grill, I was angry that the toilet paper dispenser had no paper or that it couldn't be taken out. The hand dryer is way too high for wheelchair users and when I flushed the toilet the toilet almost overflowed and it didn't drain.

We were at Freizeit Park Geiselwind on Wednesday, the opening times weren't right, only at 9:30 a.m. Rides open at 10:30 or 11am. Were there on Monday, it was very nice and we were able to drive often and a lot. Went there with another family and there was something for everyone to ride. Unfortunately, you also have to say that some people on the rides have really taken advantage of their power to have something to say. The signs with the sizes and the regulations regarding sizes should also be urgently revised. If it says that children with a height of 120 cm are only allowed to ride when accompanied by an adult, then you should stick to it and not wait half an hour to measure the child again and then say it's not possible. Especially since the child was 122 cm tall. Was on the roller coaster with the red ball. Otherwise I would say it's still a very nice amusement park. We'd love to come back too.

I have been a regular visitor to Geiselwind leisure land since I was a child in the 1990s. Although there was comparatively little noticeable innovation until the change of ownership, the maximum number of boomerang rides had to be topped every visit. I have a lot of positive associations with the park, the grounds and the beautiful town. After the relative standstill, the new owner put a lot of effort into breathing new life into the park starting in 2017. Halloween and Christmas events, new shows, new rides, proper theming. Great respect for the achievement within these 6 years! Of course not everything was perfect, but you always noticed that something was moving. What I want for the future: - dealing more openly with problems, staff shortages and/or cancellations -> e.g. if 3/4 of the rides, restaurants and toilets are out of operation during the low season, this should be clearly communicated in advance. Otherwise there will be great disappointment, especially among the younger guests. - deal confidently with criticism via social media -> please do not respond to stupid sayings in a snappy manner, but perhaps with a little more humor; Reviewers who write bad reviews do not try to silence them, but rather try to respond to the criticism - Pay attention to the appearance of the park (trash cans are completely out of date, almost half of the lockers near the old entrance are broken, and much more.) Update 2025: Unfortunately we won't be visiting the park again. It's a shame, but it's the only logical consequence if no effort is made to improve the points raised.

Always beautiful Annual ticket or adventure pass is worth it

We were here for the first time yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. Yes, you have to queue briefly at the ticket offices when you get in, but then you get lost in the lovingly designed park. The attractions are a bit older, but are still fun. Some of the staff don't speak German, but they still help. Yes, some attractions have a fixed opening time. But I think that's ok. There is plenty else to explore during this time. The animal area is very clean and well maintained. Nice contact with the older worker who cleans the enclosures. The park is perfect for children aged 5-12. If you're expecting a large park here that usually costs 3-4 times the current entry price, you should think about it. The shows were also great, especially the bubble show/magic show - a large park can learn a lesson from that. It's great how the children are involved. We look forward to the next visit

We have been visiting the Geiselwind leisure area for many years now - and we are thrilled every time. It is clearly visible how much attention to detail the facility is designed with. Everything is clean, well-kept and invites you to linger. You can just tell that people put their heart and soul into the work here. That's why some of the negative comments surprise us very much. We absolutely cannot confirm statements such as “not worth the money” or that there is a lack of attention to detail. Quite the opposite: for us, the Freizeitland is a place where the whole family can feel completely at home. Especially when you consider how much a single ride at a fairground costs, you quickly realize what great value for money you're getting here. For a fair entrance fee you can enjoy a variety of attractions throughout the day - in a relaxed, family atmosphere. Whether it's lovingly designed rides, a petting zoo, playgrounds or the great water play area - there really is something for everyone here. Our children are always full of anticipation, and we parents enjoy the time together just as much. For us, the Geiselwind leisure area has become an absolute place close to our hearts. We always enjoy coming back and can only report positive things. A big thank you to the entire team – please keep it up!

Basically a nice park with something for all children. Of course not comparable to other parks, but it fits. What's not right is that chilled drinks from the vending machine are really expensive. €4.25 for 0.5 liters of Fanta... you can get it at a motorway gas station for €2.65. But what's even worse are the narrow, dark... and sometimes filthy toilets. 😩 There's another way...

Folks, there are Krombachers. There's Krombacher in a Franconian amusement park... what possessed you to serve Krombacher in Bavaria? I wouldn't have accepted the stuff from Munich, but that!!!! €4.70 for the bottle, outrageous! Although it doesn't matter, nobody drinks it anyway. People come from far away and expect local drinks and food! You really need to work on cleanliness. In some corners it looks like... Some things need a new coat of paint...

We'll be back 👍🏻😁 especially the Krake (roller coaster with loops that you complete forwards and then backwards) and the Freefall Tower were found to be gigantic by 11 and 12 year old boys. But also Eye of the Dragon, Pirate Slingshot, and classics like bumper cars and carousels etc. are just fun! Next time we'll definitely try out the 4D cinema... unfortunately we didn't have enough time for that. I found the walk-in fun and horror houses rather boring, but I never liked them... Overall it was a great day, but I was also lucky with the weather and few visitors, so no queues either... were here during the week during the Easter holidays. As expected, the prices for food and drinks are excessive, especially given the quality... Self-catering can help and I would recommend it. It would also have been nice if one or two new attractions had been added compared to last year... We couldn't find anything. Overall, I would like to give it 4.5 stars, but since that's not possible and the kids think it's so great, I'm giving it the full 5 stars.

We are definitely NOT coming back. Admission is far too expensive for children under 1.40m! My son is 1.12m and was hardly allowed to ride anything. So we could have saved ourselves the family trip! Some rides are very old and some of them are broken or completely out of order. You could have saved yourself the food. Something else is definitely delicious! But there is one positive thing... the playgrounds!

The park is really a tip, there is something for all ages, even a petting zoo, lots of really good playgrounds and lots of toilets and rubbish bins. All rides were clean. We stayed overnight in the pirate ship. Update, we were there for the second time this year and visited the park for two days with an overnight stay. I don't know why some people think the entry price is too high, the park has so many attractions and if you plan your visit in advance you can look for vouchers or discounts, you'll quickly find them. We are very satisfied with the park.

A man at a ride was very rude 😡😡😡

Visited on April 15, 25, 2 adults with grandchildren 8 and 10 years old. We are 100% thrilled with the visit! It has a lot of rides, we couldn't ride them all. We had to wait in line for a maximum of 10 minutes. There was a longer wait for the big roller coaster, but we didn't ride it. Children were 147 and 123 cm tall. For the smaller ones I often have an accompanying person. Also petting zoo, kangaroos, llamas, monkeys. Facility clean, benches e.g. newly painted. Toilets are getting old, clean and freshly painted. Prices entrance fee okay, parking fee €5, e.g. Legoland €12.

We were there on opening weekend Park. All in all, the park has developed well, we haven't been there for many years and some new attractions and areas were added, there was something for young and old. The staff was mostly friendly and most attractions were open. Unfortunately we have to deduct one star due to the food supply. We spent 1.5 hours in the pizza area, the staff only spoke rudimentary German and couldn't even read the numbers correctly. The woman in preparation was loud and overwhelmed, there was no work preparation there, the requests were processed without a system, which then became chaos because communication was not really possible. There is only one way to exit the parking lot, which is why you are welcome to allow another 40 minutes to exit after the park closes. (Depending on how whining the children are, waiting time is more or less pleasant). Maybe consider making the entrance chargeable so that everyone can leave without waiting. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and we even got free entry for the next 2 months. Of course we would love to come back 🤗

I would give zero stars if I could. It is dirty, worn and broken. The toilets (1/4 of which were only open) were disgusting and unusable when the theme park opened. On the “roller coasters” you weren’t checked to see if you were secured and it almost fell apart while you were riding. For safety reasons alone, I wouldn't take my children there. Charging €45 for this disaster is outrageous. The employees all looked unkempt and smoked everywhere. Most of the rides were unstaffed or not in operation at all. When it comes to animals, monkeys simply escaped from the enclosure; when we pointed this out to employees, they weren't interested. They said it wasn't normal but didn't want to do anything, "because sometimes that just happens." This “amusement park” should be closed before anything else really happens. The owner deletes all negative comments so that his reputation is not damaged and of course he can still take money out of people's pockets. Let's see how long my review stays online.

Review from March 13th – Unfortunately disappointing We were there on March 13th. in the park and took advantage of the great winter offer, where everyone who was born in winter gets free entry - we thought that was a really nice promotion! I've known the park since I was a child and since it's not far away, we thought we could go there once a year. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the previous speakers: the quality of the park is decreasing more and more. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and unfortunately many employees spoke neither German nor English, which made it very difficult to raise criticism or questions. We were there around 10 a.m. and had to wait in line for about half an hour, even though there was a clearly advertised offer for winter birthday children. Here the queues could have been significantly relieved with a separate entrance. Immediately after entering, my son and I had to go to the toilet - unfortunately it was already very dirty at 10 a.m. I'm sparing pictures as this has already been shared by others. Unfortunately, the next toilet (on the right from the entrance) was out of order - we were really annoyed for the first time. In the park I noticed that a lot of things were broken and apparently no longer being repaired - many playground equipment and machines no longer worked, which was a shame. We even skipped some rides because they didn't seem trustworthy. For food: We had burgers and langos. The taste of the meat in the burger was very questionable - you couldn't tell what exactly it was. The Langos wasn't baked properly. The fries, on the other hand, were really great - I would like to highlight them positively at this point. Then we wanted to eat waffles - unfortunately we were sent on from two outlets until we found out that waffles are now only available at the pizza stand. There was an employee there who was apparently on her first day. She wasn't using the waffle machine to its full potential, only making one or two waffles at a time, even though you could make four at a time. The waiting time was correspondingly long. Unfortunately, she didn't speak any German either, which became particularly annoying when she almost tried to charge my wife twice. Luckily my wife had the receipt. We ended up with two burnt waffles. I could list more negative points, but that would go beyond the scope. Friends of ours were there the day before - it was said to have been even worse for them. Conclusion: Unfortunately the park was a disappointment for us this time. Next time we'll go to Europa Park - so my son can see what an amusement park can look like.

The park offers a number of rides for young and old. Families get their money’s worth here. There are enough seats to eat and relax. The park is well laid out and clear. Points are deducted because of the poor sanitary facilities, the pricing of everything from food to ice cream and some of the rides are very old. Lockers cost €2, which have to be topped up with another €2 when you open them, so don't worry, I'll get something out quickly. All in all a successful day. Despite the few points, the park is recommended.

It's great that the park is also open in winter, thank you very much! It was also very good that the indoor playground was so pleasantly heated. It's just logical that not all attractions are open in winter, who would want to go on a wild water ride?! See you soon, we'll be back 🤩 April 13, 2025: unfortunately I have to take back the positive impression. Prices for food and drinks are totally overpriced, we don't buy anything anymore and bring everything with us. Two visits to the toilet were very disappointing: dirty, some of the toilets were under water, no toilet paper was available, the tap didn't work, some of the toilet cubicles were much too small.

We were there again after a long time. Unfortunately, many of the “old” rides look exactly the same. Faded color, overgrown with mosses and lichens. The shops are normal, apart from the fact that everything was incredibly loud.

I think it's an absolute disgrace as an annual ticket holder to have to queue for over an hour because you can't manage to make a special entrance. That was the last card here.

The last time for us. Very old and neglected. Totally overpriced when it comes to food and drink. The staff was a disaster at all the snack bars. Some were unable to operate their own cash register. Totally unfriendly. The rides were constantly canceled because they were broken or sometimes not open at all or only at certain times. The crocodile rodeo couldn't stop while my daughter was in it. disaster

Visited today on opening weekend. Cleanliness is an absolute disaster, the toilets are really an imposition. Employees really have absolutely no desire or idea about their job. Unfortunately, the park was very run down and very outdated, very overpriced for the price + the food prices. Too bad!!!

There's a lot on offer for families with children of all ages, almost all year round - very positive: short waiting times at attractions (if no one is queuing, just do an extra lap! ;-)), everything is spacious plus a shady forest, animals, great playgrounds and chill-out zones for parents, some new toilets, idea/concept for birthday children (EVERY age is free), annual ticket and especially the fact that children can sometimes go to larger shops WITH their parents. We think it's great (so everyone has fun) ->Continue like that! Update 2021: Summer is more comfortable but Spooky Wind (Halloween event) is also a special experience (especially Pat. Keaton, fire show, Flubstreet and Ramses Temple after 6:30 p.m.) - I might go again with friends if there were cheaper tickets just for the evening. Update 2024: Thanks to the annual ticket, we continue to enjoy going there regularly - in my opinion 4-5 stars - I think it's great to have something in the area without a long journey that is so versatile and therefore always fun for everyone (even if not everything is perfect). I also think the gold annual ticket (15 percent off gastro, free parking and bringing friends along) is a good idea, and there are various themed days and promotions on how to get discounts. Points of criticism: The show program should change again and there should be more walking acts (the children love it). Summer nights with a fire show enjoyed us in the best weather on August 9th. but again it was a lot of fun, although I'm used to more food and less waiting time. (Tip: If there's a lot going on, it's better to go where there's less going on then hopefully everything should be right). Of course, you can also take food with you. In my opinion, the operator should and may of course also earn something and you have to see that with increased inflation, energy prices, minimum wage and requirements, everything has become even more difficult to make ends meet, let alone invest in new products.

Advertising to come back again looks different. Parking: 5 euros parking fee to park in a parking space on a meadow that is so dusty that you can't wash your car afterwards. Not like that. Inlet: We stood in a chaotic line for about 45 minutes without much information as to whether we were actually in line. And entry was slow. Attractions: Attraction labels are poor. You stood in line just before the ride to check the size of the children. No reasonable parking plan for the age and size of the children. The rides weren't open all day, even though there was a time sign saying they open at 1 a.m. We had experienced rides getting stuck several times. Whether it's a children's roller coaster or the big roller coaster. Rides like this Viking tree are completely boring or some have a throughput of maybe 10 people per hour. Something positive: the nostalgic rides are always great (cups, the steam train, the carousel). Food/drink: in my opinion, a rip-off and incompetence on the part of the staff. Soft ice cream in the 0.50 cent size from a furniture store is sold for 3.90 euros. Employees don't speak a word of German. We had to take a photo of the ice cream menu to get the correct ice cream. And the icing on the cake was working the cash register. The employees didn't even know how to debit the debit cards. With trained people plus no rip-off prices, we bought more. Unfortunately not. There are some drinks machines. Unfortunately, at around 4 euros per drink you are not invited to buy one. Playground: let's get to something positive. The two playground areas are top. The operator really needs to come up with a concept. There are so many useless attractions and areas, too many food/drink stands without sufficient staff. Getting stuck on rides doesn't leave you with a good feeling about whether you're really safe. A new concept is needed here: Shorten areas, only a petting zoo and a few vending machines in the back. Leave rides with high throughput and leave everything else. Select and train staff wisely. Attractions wait reasonably and much more If we had paid normally we would have been very disappointed.

I didn't pay anything today but it was still a shame 5 rides got stuck and everything is extremely expensive. If you go there, you should bring your own water and maybe even some food. If I had had to pay the entrance fee I would have been really annoyed

The park itself is so beautifully done and has something for all ages. The winter children's campaign is great, for us it affects the whole family. But there are also a lot of outdated things that need a little renovation. What doesn't work at all, and every time, is the toilets. No matter where it is, it is so disgusting that even the 3 year old daughter didn't want to go to the toilet, even today at the start of the season when you would think everything had been cleaned. So I haven't seen a rag or even a new toilet brush in these toilets for a long time. It's really just disgusting. We also really felt sorry for the poor saleswoman at the snack bar at the top of the petting zoo, she didn't speak a word of German and was standing alone in the stand on a day like today when you have to wait in line for three quarters of an hour to even get into the park. We waited half an hour for our ice cream, which we wanted to buy from her, because unfortunately she didn't understand what everyone wanted, let alone there was enough ice cream, and when it was our turn we got a completely eaten broken ice cream three times. When I opened it you immediately noticed that it was simply old or that it had been thawed and frozen again hundreds of times. And you have to pay €4.50 for it. Sry, that doesn't work at all. People please, the park has so much potential, take a few comments to heart.

Gets worse every year. Devices fail all the time. Entry catastrophic. Staff slow and overwhelmed. A lot of things were empty at the aid stations after just 2 hours.

Start of the season today NOTHING works... really disappointing.... for a 44 euro day ticket I expect better.... that's probably it with freizeitland geiselwind....

Unfortunately, the opening was a complete disaster. Technical problems everywhere. Stuck on the roller coaster. Staff unfriendly, unhelpful. I'm seriously considering not buying an annual pass again. What a shame!!!!

Very nice for children. There is a lot of driving fun. Not comparable to other parks but ok. Everything is a bit smaller here, although there is now cultivation. What I definitely have to complain about is the prices. The entrance fees are extremely high. Comparable to larger or much more modern parks like Geiselwind. The staff consists exclusively of Eastern European people. Which doesn't have to be a bad thing. But it was extremely noticeable. There will probably be a lot of savings here. In the Bavarian Tent the food prices are truly outrageous. If only the portions were at least right there. That was a joke. Therefore 2 stars deducted. The toilets are really small. A real problem for a 180cm man. The man from the chain carousel saved a star. He was super nice.👍

Unfortunately, the park continues to decline. After many years with the Adventure Pass, there will now be a different destination. Staffing problems, poor investments, non-functioning rides and the construction of special events such as Halloween led to this decision. Despite everything, go there yourself and form your own opinion. I still wish the park all the best for the future and the owner perhaps a better hand in his decisions.

Great park, you can really tell that a lot of effort is being put into it. Something simply great for every age.

Unfortunately I can only give this one star and everyone who gives five stars has never been to another amusement park xD However, I have to say that this trashy appearance is somehow part of its charm and I still like Freizeit-Land Geiselwind ^^

The park is very nice I think the attraction is very nice I also think Yullbe Go is very nice but what I think is a bit overpriced is the adventure pass adults 165€ for children from 12 years 110€ we used to get one for 95€ but then it became a bit more expensive which I think is a bit stupid but otherwise everything is very nice really nice everything is nice

Dangerous attractions. Cars have a loop instead of a seat belt, and it is too high for children. On a roller coaster, it is dangerously close to the support, if you put your hand out - it will break

The rating refers to the winter season Winterwonderland. Admission €23 from 1m We were 4 adults and 2 children. Unfortunately, the attractions were not as expected and some were very dangerous. 1. Ice skating rink. The employee who gives out the shoes was very unfriendly to many guests, which I noticed. Very moody and sometimes aggressive. The track itself was not a track but rather plastic panels with a special layer. I couldn't see anyone actually driving because the material didn't allow for that. Max. 1 minute and you are voluntarily off the “ice” again. Big disappointments for the kids. 2. Ninja maze The idea is great. A big labyrinth to explore, hide and have fun. But! The entire area was full of ice. Regardless of whether it was the path or the steps, you slipped very often. Especially children + high curbs along the path are very dangerous. We were lucky that child 1 didn't fall on a board when he slipped, but there wasn't much missing here. I don't understand why you don't sprinkle in a family park. 3. Food The food was varied so that there was something for everyone, but we didn't like it. Bratwurst has a strange taste Doner was ok. Crepes with cinnamon + sugar were too expensive at €5.30. You still pay entry and a small surcharge over normal prices is OK but not like that. 4. Animals The animals on site were the highlight, especially in the petting zoo you can have fun even as an adult. Overall, everything was very disappointing and we won't be coming to Winter Wonderland again

I was here at Halloween time. The park was really well decorated.

We were in the park with 10 people on a Sunday and we all had a lot of fun. There is something for all age groups. The FreefallTower is great. A great family park with good restaurants (unfortunately a bit expensive) and enough toilets. Parking costs €5 per vehicle. Dogs are allowed in the park. A successful day for us that was really fun

Since we live in the Rhineland, we are permanent guests of the big competition with the P at the beginning. The leisure land was a welcome change. Due to the weather, one or two things were not in operation, so the adults had a bit of a hard time (no roller coasters), but that didn't stop the fun. The shows were really cute and also provided a welcome warm-up break. We really liked the lighting and the overall ambience, so we stayed "until the bitter end" despite the bitter cold. The food in the heated restaurant was delicious and fairly priced. We were no longer able to use the ice skating rink because of all the other programs. Here we were very positively surprised by the statement that the skate rental was free. That's great! All in all, an entertaining and lovely day for us - even without a rollercoaster!

We and our children really enjoyed it. Beautifully landscaped playgrounds and themed worlds, great rides and adventures for young and old. Animals/water playground + changing rooms. Lots to discover and bright children's eyes. Price/performance completely appropriate. Food offering something for everyone, from savory to sweet, everything is available. The staff was very friendly despite the huge rush. Kudos to the girls from the glitter tattoo shop. At the end of the day, being so loving and friendly is really great. We'll be back. If you want to start your day at the theme park even more relaxed, use the Seaside Resort opposite. We did it and it was a completely successful weekend.

Nice park, but the condition of the toilets spoiled our mood a bit. Toilet vans/houses urgently need to be replaced or renovated. All I can say about the cleanliness is that it was borderline. My son didn't want to use the toilets.

Winter Wonderland is highly recommended. Like a Christmas market. There was still snow when we were there, which made the whole thing very special.

Entrance fees and snacks are OK Toilets very clean.

You shouldn't expect too much for the price. Not comparable in quality to other parks. We went to Winter Wonderland. Parking lot would need wood chips or other flooring. When it's wet it's just a mud fight. Many rides are getting old. There is an urgent need to invest here. At least new paint. Some of it looks run down. Price/performance at the snack bar is not suitable. €7.50 for a flatbread with rotisserie meat. The two boys in the kiosk seemed a little overwhelmed and also packed the burnt meat into the flatbread. It's OK to visit once if you don't have too high expectations.

My girlfriend and I were with you on January 6th, 2025 for the last day of Winter Wonderland. Beautifully designed and everything is beautiful. decorated. It was great weather. Crazy Christmas the show at 2 p.m. is great. We had 2x1 flyers for one person each with free entry. We thought it was good. Cashier no hello and really weird. Not a friendly look. The toilets were dirty and had a bad smell. Where is the cleaning staff? It only had one restaurant open. To be honest, I think it's not enough. Despite everything, we had a great day.

Went to the park during Winter Wonderland. We are a family of four with a kindergarten child and an infant. The journey/arrival already made us think about turning around. Lots of potholes and the parking lot looked more like a festival area after heavy rain. When we left the car got stuck... Many areas and concession stands in the park were closed. In other areas there was incredibly loud music (e.g. magic garden or something similar). For a drink, in our case an apple spritzer from a bottle, €4 is pretty steep. The junior enjoyed individual rides and seeing the animals was a nice change. Hence two stars.

A very nice trip in the middle of winter with children.

The three of us visited Winterland and were extremely disappointed. There were hardly any attractions open and the paths were neither cleared nor gritted. It was either super wet or slippery. Once and never again!

We were here in winter and I have to say, even if not all the rides are open, you can still spend a whole day here, especially for families. The food was also great, something for everyone
