We come here as a family of four at least twice a year. This year, we even came as a group (kickboxing club) with several cars and families. Everything went smoothly, and the rides are great. Unfortunately, the Asian food was out of rice. It's sold out every time, which is a shame. Maybe we'll come again for Halloween. We always use the 2-for-1 ticket from the special offer.

The park is okay, but some of the restrooms, restaurants, and facilities are rancid and appear neglected.

A good amusement park, although some of the rides are poorly maintained. Some rides don't offer what you'd expect. The wait times for many rides are also usually very long.

Maximum fun for children and adults👍🎢🎡🎠

It's ridiculous to charge €44 for this. The rides look old and unsafe, the wait times are far too long, and the food and drinks are far too expensive.

Very disappointing – never again! Our visit to Freizeitland Geiselwind was, unfortunately, a complete disaster. We rode the water ride in three cars, one behind the other, and collided! Only after we shouted and waved loudly did the employee even react. Instead of offering immediate assistance, he left us sitting in the car on a slope for five minutes until we finally got out and walked along the ride ourselves. The employee sat in his hut the whole time and did nothing. Completely irresponsible and dangerous! The food is also a disgrace: • The staff at the Langos hut were incredibly unfriendly. The first time, despite the park being empty, we had to wait an hour for a Langos, and later it was still 30 minutes – and that was at a price starting at €8 per piece, more expensive than at any Christmas market. • When we wanted to order a slushie, the employee grabbed a cigarette in the middle of our order, disappeared for 10 minutes, and then simply served other people. We left frustrated. • The noodles at the Chinese restaurant were completely tasteless and overpriced. • The pizza tasted like frozen food – also not recommended. Added to that is the exorbitant entrance fee for a park that seems run-down overall, and where much of it seems unloved and old. Conclusion: Overpriced, unsafe, unfriendly, not recommended!

So, we were back after three years. Hmm, what can I say? The restrooms were still so dirty at 10:00 a.m. (probably from the day before) that we wanted to leave right away. Unfortunately, the staff in the shops didn't do anything either. Totally unfriendly and unenthusiastic. The family outing cost us about €300 in total, including food. We would have preferred to go to another park.

Three snack bars, no more fries, and warm drinks were standing in front of the fridge. Staff completely overwhelmed. Observation tower closed. Many small vending machines broken. Everything is doable if you want it, but for the price, it's insanely simple.

There are a lot of rides, mostly with short routes between them. The paths are mostly very easy to navigate. Food and drink are available on almost every corner, and there are plenty of shady parking spaces directly across from the entrance.

Positive: • As a pregnant woman, I received a discount, which I found very accommodating. • The park is beautifully situated in the forest, and the surroundings are truly idyllic. Negative: • Many rides seem old and worn; they urgently need a facelift. • Unfortunately, some attractions were out of service. • The staff seemed unfriendly and unenthusiastic – especially in a park for families and children, I expect friendly, motivated staff. Conclusion: Thanks to a special offer, we got double admission, so the price was reasonable. Overall, however, there's still room for improvement.

Still a very nice park. Great rides and truly huge. We spent the whole day there with our little 6-year-old. She had a blast. Highly recommended. We'll be back. The seal show was one of our favorites. 👍🏼

Waiting forever and then being rejected. Uncool

Nice park. It's been transformed from a zoo to an amusement park. Not quite as modern as the big ones, but with plenty of shade. It wasn't too busy when we were there either. Therefore, highly recommended.

I was at the amusement park recently [September 28, 2025] and, to be honest, I'm quite disappointed. The park seemed very unkempt overall, and it was dirty in many places. The worst, however, was the 'Cobra' roller coaster. The safety belt was broken, and when I pointed this out to an employee, I was treated very rudely. On top of that, the entrance fee was completely overpriced for what was on offer. Some rides were out of service, and the slot machines simply swallowed the money or didn't work at all. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this park."

Where do you even begin? It's almost entirely made up of old, decommissioned rides from the fairgrounds. Of course, the new operator is trying very hard, but they're not keeping up. The rides are old, and the water on many of the attractions smells and is dirty—you definitely don't want to ride them. The restrooms are dirty, smelly, and aren't cleaned all day. The staff are completely disinterested, play with their phones, and are downright unfriendly. We're giving it two stars because Geiselwind was our number one park during our childhood, and we really appreciate that the operator is maintaining the old "charm."

I often came here with my family as a child and really enjoyed it, but now that I'm older, I have a few points to criticize. 1. Value for money The attractions are all old, and there are only a handful of roller coasters for adults. Really steep for the price. There are also raffle booths everywhere. The price of the food is reasonable. 2. Representation of different "cultures" There are areas that are supposed to represent different cultures, whatever that has to do with roller coasters. In any case, I think it conveys a false impression to children and has absolutely nothing to do with the respective cultures. Especially when it comes to the food! Why do I find hot dogs at the indigenous peoples' restaurants and churros at the East Asian (mixed Chinese and Japanese) restaurants? 3. Staff Most of the staff are unmotivated, don't smile, and sometimes have no idea what they're selling. 4. The horror house and the fun house are both not worth it. 5. The animals and their treatment. The animals have absolutely no appropriate space, exhibit behavioral problems, and are constantly exposed to the noise of the roller coasters. I'm very sorry to see this. But what can you say about an amusement park that doesn't officially offer vegan dishes? I think it's unfortunately more worthwhile to visit your nearest fair, and I say that even though I'm Team Amusement Park. Overall, I think it's a real shame what the amusement park has become.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough rides for children under 1 meter tall. The park is beautiful and the fashions are well-arranged. The restrooms were unfortunately in terrible condition.

From a parent's perspective: This is an aging and relatively expensive amusement park with the unfriendly staff I've ever experienced. And that's true at every single attraction! From a child's perspective (6), there are a few nice things.

Wednesday, September 24, 2025 I specifically called a few days in advance to see if the park was actually open. The answer was "Yes." No information about the possibility of closure in bad weather. So, after almost two hours of driving, the barrier to the parking lot went up, and then came the disappointment. A sign so large you almost needed a magnifying glass read: Closed due to the forecast of persistent rain. Okay, we didn't see the rain, but we did see the closed barrier (which only opens if you enter a ticket, which we didn't get) at the exit, where we had to wait a good 10 minutes. After several calls and attempts to get out of the parking lot, an employee finally took pity on us and let us out.

Top and with a voucher even paid only half

Went there for the first time with friends. A very beautiful and spacious park for all ages. We had perfect weather that day, so the park was quite busy. It seemed a bit like the staff were getting tired of the end of the season. The wait times at the attractions and food stations were quite long! What somewhat dampened the good impression was the lack of Wi-Fi in the park and the 2-for-1 ticket policy at the administration office. We'd love to come back!

Some places are nice, some seem like lost places...

All in all, a beautiful and diverse park. I thought it was a shame that the restrooms were so dirty. We were there Saturday and Sunday because we were staying at the Seaside Resort. Apparently, the restrooms weren't cleaned between Saturday evening and opening on Sunday. That shouldn't be the case. Unfortunately, soap was mostly missing, too. We attended a show where, according to my watch, the volume was almost 85 dB and also had a very bass-heavy sound. Is that really necessary for a show with lots of (young) children? In my opinion, there needs to be a rethink.

Before we left, we specifically checked to see if the park was open. Yep, let's go. Since we got there a bit early, we treated ourselves to a coffee. There were no signs at the park saying it was closed at 9:15. Just before 10:00 a.m. there was a small sign saying "Closed due to rain!" Maybe they should have told the rain. It wasn't there. At 10:38 a.m. the park was still listed as open on the internet. And on the website too!! Then around 12:00 p.m. suddenly there was a note, as if they had written it on the 23rd, saying the park was closed. So many people went there for nothing. What annoys me most is the outrageous fact of being ripped off like this on the internet.

Despite the annual schedule, the park was closed due to rain. Apparently, they forgot to tell the rain, because it wasn't there.

Unfortunately, this park is unreliable. Forget the annual schedule. The park won't even open if there's even the slightest drizzle. Extremely disappointing. We will avoid the park in the future due to its unreliability. Update: It didn't rain a drop on the day in question.

It should have been communicated more clearly at the entrance what each queue was for.

In short, the attractions are good, and the grounds are much larger than you'd initially think or think at the entrance. If you take your time and wander around the park, you'll find a lot. Things are well hidden or obvious, not so obvious. The prices are great. Thanks to the operators at Geiselwind.

A very nice park, but hopelessly understaffed. Extreme wait times because only one employee operates each piece of equipment, and they constantly have to repair/help/push things along. You have to factor in a 45-60 minute wait for almost every attraction. The monkeys have a large area, but all the other animals are very cramped. The food is okay, and the staffing here is a bit better, but still not optimal.

One star is actually too much. The entrance fee of €45 is completely excessive for what's on offer here. Many attractions seem outdated and anything but safe – you don't get the feeling that any real attention is paid to maintenance and safety. Overall, it's absolutely disappointing and definitely not recommended.

Very expensive, very unfriendly cashier. She charged two 9-year-olds as adults. The adults paid the full amount and the highest price because they were obligated to accompany the child. Very outdated scenes and adventures. Be careful with the opening hours; many don't open until 11:00 AM, and the exit is at 6:00 PM. Not recommended! P.S. Be careful at the end, it's extremely dangerous because the park has an exit. All the drivers are scrambling to avoid the queues, and the coalition is at the door!

A top amusement park for children, teenagers and adults for decades.

Very old. Restroom disaster. Millions of people. Once was enough 🫣🤷🏽‍♀️

In my opinion, the price/performance ratio here isn't right. The rides are very old, so you often see that a technician needs to get involved. One of the rides braked so abruptly that my glasses simply flew off. I don't think that's normal.

Geiselwind offers a pleasant family atmosphere, a beautiful, green environment, and a good mix of rides (unfortunately, some rides are showing their age). However, there are also charming highlights that are fun! At times, the staff seems unmotivated, and in some cases, the restrooms should be checked more closely shortly before the park closes to ensure everything stays clean. Overall, Geiselwind is a family-friendly place. Suggestions for improvement: "Updates" to the attractions, "smiling staff," and better cleanliness at night.

No soap in the toilets, the entire park has been reorganized and follows no recognizable structure. You get the feeling they tried to do something with little money, but then stopped halfway through. It's a real shame, we probably won't be back.

All the toilets are absolutely disgusting and hidden, even at 9:15 in the morning! The waiting times were unreasonable. We were there with three children (9, 8, 5, and 2 years old) and couldn't even ride the roller coaster together because each child would have needed an accompanying adult, even in the same car. So with two adults, even smaller roller coasters were impossible... It was the first and last time we were here... So Plohn and Thurn Castle were 100 times nicer and better.

Something for everyone! But very expensive!

I was there yesterday. I'd never go back; I remembered the park differently. At 1 p.m. we lined up to buy fries, and when it was our turn, they were all gone. The 🍨 had run out of chocolate; they'd run out. The same thing happened at a drinks stand. The staff went downstairs to be friendly. The restrooms were sloppy and dirty, and so on. Never again. What a shame about the park.

It's just sickening. Waiting forever for the cable cars, and yet the gondolas run alone. The shops are already closing even though there are still guests. Waiting forever for food, and then even after four hours, there's nothing left to eat.

Unfortunately not. 1. Initially, there was a lot of confusion at the ticket counter. 2. Some rides weren't working or were shut down early. 3. Unmotivated and sometimes unfriendly employees. I won't be going there again anytime soon. But it doesn't matter, because the money keeps rolling in anyway.

Aside from the long wait times (which we expected given the weather), we were very disappointed. The park isn't what it used to be. Poor organization, chip shops that were out of chips, vending machines that didn't work, trash cans that were overflowing from the start, toilets that were dirty and lacked toilet paper, far too few parasols or shady spots, and extremely unfriendly and overwhelmed staff who, by all appearances, weren't prepared for such an influx of visitors. Furthermore, many of the attractions are showing their age, some of them broken. They desperately need improvement. The animal husbandry is also questionable. The enclosures seem far too small and anything but species-appropriate.

One of the most amazing theme parks in Germany. We've been here a few times and are always impressed. We highly recommend it.

We were here with the whole family today and wanted to have a nice day. Unfortunately, I have to say that didn't work out. First of all, I think it's a disgrace that parking costs €5. Unfortunately, you don't have any other choice here. There are zero stars for that. The entrance prices are far too high in my opinion. Especially when the staff are unfriendly, moody, and disinterested. (Apart from the pirate at the airplanes, the only staff member who takes his job seriously and is friendly.) A two-class system never goes down well, unless you're in first class. But the fact that there's a separate entrance here is a disgrace. Online tickets also have a separate entrance... Why? You have to wait 40 minutes here with small children. After so many years of being an amusement park, they could revise that and reduce the waiting time. But vouchers at the box office with a 2:1 promotion have to be redeemed at the administration office? Can't you just press a ticket directly at the counter and issue it? The restaurants in the park are closed. I can completely understand that at a certain time of day, but when the only restaurant open serving food and drinks is declared a private event and therefore inaccessible to second-class customers, I really reconsider where I am. The prices for the snack stations are also ridiculous in my opinion. Magnum ice cream €4.20 Coke 0.5l €4.00 Fries were glassy, ​​greasy, and cold. The rides are getting old, but there are plenty of them, so you get + points. The coin-operated machines: Crane: doesn't work. The employees don't feel responsible here. I don't want to come here anymore! It wasn't worth the money.

Simply cool, especially the Curse of the Kraken, but also the Freefal Tower is just fun, even for children, a large selection of rides, the wild water ride is very wet and fast, the blue gentian is a classic, the entrance is ok, 44€ for 2 times is fair, some attractions are not comfortable for taller people, over 1.90 there is almost nothing unless you can do without a lot of legroom

We visited the park for the first time today. I have to say, I think the regular admission price is pretty excessive, as some rides were closed or undergoing maintenance (which they can certainly do after closing time). Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time at the food stands (two people, for the weekend). I think they could generate significantly more revenue if they increased the staff.

These roller coasters are a disaster. Most of them will break your neck. Everything is run-down and dilapidated. From the outside, you can see the entire railing shaking as the car passes by.

A true example of poor organization... Every ride had a minimum of 30 minutes waiting time... The wait for food was over an hour because the snack bar only had one employee during rush hour. She had to serve, cashier, clear, and cook all at once.

I have to say the park has done really well. I can recommend it to everyone. Lots of attractions for all ages! Keep it up! We'd be happy to come back anytime.

Absolute fun for the kids and for us too. The only thing that was a bit off-putting were the prices for food and drinks.

We didn't visit Freizeitland Geiselwind, but instead walked part of it on a short hike. What was particularly great was that we had unobstructed views of the spacious monkey enclosure, which we enjoyed for about an hour.

Rude Employee: - We stood in line with three children at the log flume ride starting at 10:40 a.m. because there was a sign saying the ride would open at 11:00 a.m. - At 11:05 a.m., an employee came and, without comment, hung a sign at the entrance stating that the ride wasn't running. - The employee either didn't speak German or didn't want to speak to us. - This annoyed us, just like the others in the line, but it gets even better. - In the evening, we noticed that the log flume ride was running after all. - We got in line at 5:45 p.m. - Since the ride was scheduled to close at 6:00 p.m., another sign was put behind the queue at 5:55 p.m. - fair, I thought, that's okay. - At 6:02 p.m., it was our turn. The same employee again, in an unfriendly manner, indicated that the ride was now closed and we couldn't get in again. I asked for the supervisor, or rather, his name. He just waved me off. - I've now sent the park two emails and tried calling, but no response. The park seems to be completely indifferent...

There's something for everyone, even for the very little ones who aren't quite ready for the bigger rides. Unfortunately, everything is a bit dated, and the food and drinks are very expensive. The staff are incredibly unfriendly. I'd like to say something about Franconian hospitality if I weren't Franconian myself. I was mercilessly shoved off the log flume; my daughter was only 1.04 instead of the required 1.10. (Of course, I didn't measure her that accurately.) And that was after waiting in line for 45 minutes. The employee didn't say anything, by the way, but just pointed at the tape measure and gestured towards the exit. After my daughter had already ridden the carousel three times on her own, a very friendly young employee snapped at me rudely about why my daughter was riding alone (even though the rules say she's allowed to go there from 4 years old – it just didn't interest her employee). Quite long lines at the attractions The parking management's policy of only checking the tickets I buy at the park upon exiting causes long lines. If there are already employees at the entrance, they could just as well take the €5.

Great for kids big and small. If the weather's good, you can spend the whole day there. The 2x1 offer is great. All you have to do is upgrade your ticket. Then you get another free entry within 50 days.

There's trash lying around, even on the walk-through rides, so you should make sure it's picked up regularly. The food stalls are overpriced. It's better to pack enough. The whole park is very dated; perhaps some of the countless plastic figures could be replaced or removed. Just think about it or start a survey.

We've had a season ticket for three years, so we enjoy coming here. There's something for all ages, although the attractions are certainly "smaller" than at, say, Europa Park, and some are at least 35 years old. But even these smaller and older attractions are always fun, and there are usually no or very short wait times, which I think is very good value for money. Especially for annual passes (which are sometimes even cheaper). A few new features are added every year, but no new rides this year. There are many great playgrounds for small children, as well as a whole host of rides for them to ride. Certainly not everything is perfect; if you look hard enough, you'll find flaws. Our only real complaint, however, is the catering. The quality of the food is rather low, and the wait times are enormous. Each order is prepared individually (and very slowly), and only once it has been delivered can the next customer order. I think the park is missing out on a lot of revenue here.

I spent two days at the amusement park with two kids (6 and 8 years old) during the last week of the Bavarian holidays. My last visit was certainly over 25 years ago, and I had very fond memories of the park. Due to the weather, the crowds were very low, and there were virtually no waits. The park is a decent size, and I can imagine that you wouldn't be able to see everything on a busy day. It seems to be expanded or remodeled every year, but after a new build or renovation, it seems no longer pays attention to what happens to it, and it's left to decay. Regardless of the area, pretty much everything was overgrown, moss-covered, or littered in places, giving an overall impression of being neglected. The kids' exact words: "What a junk park!" The price/performance ratio here is absolutely not right. I won't be visiting again any time soon and will instead go to other parks. Due to the personal injuries and the many cancellations, I can't give a better rating! Otherwise, it might have been 3 stars... A fraction of the key points I noticed. - Many employees aren't keeping an eye on operations because they're always on their phones and therefore don't notice what's happening to the visitors. (Nausea, panic attacks, anxiety...) Many could also use a lot of work on being friendlier. - Doggy Dog brakes are broken and out of service. - Flying machine cables are hanging around in the footwell and lights are out of sockets. - Taka Waka. Severe crash in the exit area with personal injuries (whiplash and bruised back). Subsequently out of service. The injured people were not cared for or offered help. Apparently brake failure or errors in the safety procedure. - Yggdrasil: The cannons in at least 3 gondolas were not working, making it impossible to score points. - Curse of the Dragon also had a defect and was out of service for the entire day shortly after opening. - Eye of the Dragon has been out of service for some time due to an alleged lack of spare parts. It's now very overgrown and doesn't look like it's going to be reopened. - The farm playground has cut roots up to 4cm in diameter and up to 10cm high. Extreme tripping hazard. - All metal plates on the attractions are heavily worn, and in wet conditions, there's a high risk of slipping. - Restroom cleaning is only done on a case-by-case basis. - The additional parking fee of €5 per day is completely incomprehensible given the entrance prices! - Waiting times could be optimized if employees were more motivated and had good procedures. - The arcade has enormous addictive potential for children and is sure to lead to whining just by passing by. Likewise, there are a few ticket machines or attractions throughout the park that charge a fee. - The entire path is crooked and bumpy. - The bumper car ride time is too short / the pirate swing ride time is too long. - Many restrictions apply to children under 10 years old or under 1.40m tall. The tensioning straps on the circus tents look ready to be scrapped, and it's probably only a matter of time before they give way. The former flagship, the Top of the World, appears to be languishing in its sad existence only as a memorial and is being reclaimed by nature. + Lots of animals that also appear well-cared for and friendly to people. + The staff member on Jack's balloon ride is amazing and absolutely perfect in his role as a pirate. + The magic show with cook Flo is absolutely brilliant for the kids. + The sea lion show is highly recommended. + A very diverse park with all themed areas and something for everyone, as long as there are enough accompanying staff for children under 1.4m.

We had a wonderful Sunday at the family park. The rides and the zoo were fantastic, there were no long waits, and there was plenty of fun to be had. However, the staff at some stations weren't very friendly. Maybe it was because it was Sunday, but it wasn't supposed to be that way. Overall, though, we had a wonderful day and will be back 🤭🙃🫶

It's very sad what has become of the park from my childhood... I've been there twice with my kids in the last two weeks. The first time, it was pure sunshine... but the park was clean, there were broken equipment everywhere, and the friendliness was lacking. They say everyone has a chance for a second chance. So, we went again... mixed weather, fewer people in the park. But even on the second day... the trash cans were full everywhere, dirt was scattered throughout the park, whether it was the restroom or the diaper changing room, disgusting!!! The staff either didn't speak at all or were very poorly and tersely. At attractions that I don't think are bad, they weigh and measure you, but on the roller coasters or water rides, it doesn't matter at all how tall, old, or heavy you are. They don't even react when you point out that a belt isn't fastened or something isn't right! Irresponsible!! Totally disinterested, unfriendly staff, no matter where you are. Not a single hello or a smile... you're lucky if they even move to do business... it's all become very sad. The prices, whether for admission tickets or in the park itself, are definitely no longer justified!!!

Admission was quick, even though there were a few visitors waiting in line. The rides were easy to enjoy, except for two longer waits (approx. 45 minutes). There's plenty to discover, especially for children between the ages of 6 and 12. The various animal areas are also beautifully designed. You can tell that the park is showing its age, and the ravages of time are taking their toll on some of the attractions. This doesn't detract from the fun, but here and there a sign could use some updating, the lawn mowing, or the water in the ponds. It seemed to us that staffing levels were running low. There also seem to be a lot of Eastern European seasonal workers on site. The star deduction goes to the unfriendly, listless, and completely overwhelmed staff at the sausage stand (waiting time approx. 1 hour) and the many slot machines in the park, which are obviously a cash cow. All in all, recommended.

I have to say, after giving the park another chance yesterday after years, I have to say I'm absolutely disappointed. The park is in terrible condition. Cleaning and trash disposal are nonexistent, let alone maintenance or upkeep of the rides. The staff at the food stalls are generally extremely unmotivated or incapable of communicating effectively. Prices are, as expected, completely overpriced, but that's normal for theme parks these days. All in all, I think it's only a matter of time before the park goes out of business. It's sad that "Bavaria's largest theme park" has become so poorly maintained.

The food is a bit expensive for the quality and quantity; the churros are charged with cinnamon sugar as a "sauce." Langos, for example, are €9. None of the employees even crack a smile. They're all completely grumpy. Some of the restrooms are broken, and they're definitely filthy. I'd rather not go into the details. According to the restroom checklist, they were last cleaned four days ago. And it looked that way, too. The selection is good for the size of the park. The wait times were actually okay. Unfortunately, the station with the remote-controlled boats was closed. I'll visit the park again and adjust my review accordingly. Luckily, there was a promotion with a free ticket that you have to redeem within 50 days.

Unfortunately, today, September 14, 2025, the conditions in the restrooms were appalling!

How can you let a park deteriorate like this? The restrooms are truly awful. They should be cleaned daily, not just once a week. What we found most horrible was the "motivated" staff; we've rarely seen so many unfriendly employees. My daughter pointed out to an employee that the belt on the roller coaster wouldn't close, and he just shrugged. "Are you serious?!" It's enough to make you sick. One or two things were okay, but the overall impression... Nope, just nope...

The park is seriously outdated, and many of the equipment is broken. The prices for food and drinks in the park are completely overpriced; for example, a 0.33 litre Coke costs 4.10! On top of that, each booth charges different prices. Stuffed animal grabbers are posted in every corner and wooden booth, and they will not give up any stuffed animals under any circumstances. Be careful around the llamas; they will spit on you.

The employees seem to be competing to see who can be the most unfriendly. Whether on the rides or during the food, it's truly unbelievable! (With the one, but very significant, exception of the man on the swing boat!) The restrooms are dirty, and there's almost no paper anywhere. Wait times are always over 30 minutes, even in the off-season. Won't be back.

Cool amusement park. Last time I was here was as a kid in the late 80s. This was my first time here with my kids, and they thought it was just as cool as I did back then! The only thing is the parking lot desperately needs an upgrade! Hence "only" 4 stars.

The grounds are extensive, but some areas and attractions are poorly maintained. There are great attractions for all ages.

Short wait times despite the Bavarian summer holidays. However, some of the rides are very outdated. The large observation tower (a landmark) is completely overgrown and out of service. The duck ponds are rotting, and the larger animal shelters are several centimeters thick with droppings. The grease from the chip shop smells like it's from the previous season. The restrooms smell very strongly of urine. There are few German-speaking staff throughout the park; thus, there is virtually no interaction with guests. The staff mostly seem very grumpy and unfriendly. The trash cans are overflowing in many corners. With the discount provided by the voucher (about €100 for four people), it was okay. The regular price would have been far too expensive for me, given the desolate appearance.

We were in the park today, and I've never seen such a dirty park. The restrooms haven't been cleaned in a while. At the Asian Corner, some of the toilets were completely destroyed or dirty...you could use one of three. At the snack bar (they sell pirate bags), the seating area inside was so dirty, all the bar stools were wobbly and the floor was a disgrace, and there were food scraps everywhere...they haven't been cleaned in a while...you wouldn't want to know how food is treated. Absolutely outrageous for a family, considering the high entrance fees!

Completely out of date, some nails and screws were hanging out of the wall and I hit my head several times, oh yeah and the seat didn't close completely on one of the roller coasters, for your information I'm neither fat nor tall

The chill-out area could be designed a little more beautifully. It's very poorly designed, right next to the toilet.

Staff sometimes very unfriendly

It was a great day, and both the children and we had a lot of fun.

We had a wonderful day at this park. Our 9-year-old really enjoyed it. The time flew by.

There are many good and entertaining rides, but a few attractions are a bit disappointing (e.g., the ghost train, the Ramses Temple). The staff could be friendlier. I would have given it four stars if it weren't for the animal treatment. It's truly questionable. The reindeer and pony enclosures are too small, and the constant blast of noise from the stereo and ambient noise (the Cobra ride) is really bad for the animals. The question is whether an amusement park like this even needs animals. Other amusement parks do it better. Another thing that could be improved is the hygiene and size of the restrooms.

The park itself and the rides are great for kids. BUT the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The restrooms look like they haven't been cleaned all season. The dining areas aren't cleaned during the day either. By 12 p.m., there are no clean tables left; there are leftovers everywhere. Given the prices, I would like to see regular cleaning of the dining areas, and especially the restrooms. We won't be coming again.

As others have already mentioned, the park is really showing its age. Wait times were 30 minutes per ride (the large roller coasters), while others were quicker. There's virtually nothing for children under 2 to ride. There are for the other age groups, though. But the animals look really neglected. Very dirty in general, especially in the restrooms.

Room for improvement. We've had annual passes for the park for several years, and the price/performance ratio is quite good, especially during special promotions like Black Friday... Many rides from the funfair... Some are missing lighting elements; they just don't look nice/maintained. The rides seem very unkempt and dirty, currently very little is working in Flubstreet, Jack's Hidden Place needs an overhaul, pictures attached. The theme is also only half-heartedly implemented. The whitewater ride is being turned into a pirate river. Some of it still has Bavarian/sawmill decor, and then a hint of pirate decor that no one has taken care of in a while; it's unkempt. There are plenty of other rides here that started to be re-themed and then simply stopped, unkempt. The Blauer Enzian roller coaster has been missing half of its cars for some time, resulting in longer wait times. The catering is nothing special, and some of the staff don't speak German. Price/performance ratio is rather poor. Franconian amusement park that serves Krombacher beer. The staff at the ride-sharing stations vary. Some are attentive and don't allow children to ride without an accompanying adult. Others don't care at all and don't even watch the rides, but just look at their phones. Many seem to be temporary workers from Eastern Europe, doing their time in casual clothes... Not so nice. Parking: Charging €5 for this parking lot is simply outrageous. Unfortunately, we've often had the situation where only one exit was open at the park's closing time. It took us 45 minutes to leave the parking lot because someone forgot to open additional exits. The park has plenty of restrooms (all clean and tidy). Plenty of trash cans. If it were more and better organized and more attention was paid to cleanliness, it would be a really solid amusement park; currently, it has a LOT of room for improvement.

All in all, our children had a blast, and it was a highlight. However, there is a two-star deduction for the "cleanliness" of the park. Some of the restrooms smelled truly horrible and were absolutely filthy, and even in the newer part of the park, the restrooms were neither clean nor well-maintained. The sink faucet was loose, along with the stone countertop, and the sinks were covered in algae. Additionally, we were one of the first families to enter the park at 9:30 a.m., and at the snack bars that had closed, there were still trays of leftover food and trash from the lecture. Furthermore, there was trash lying around everywhere, and some of the trash cans were so full that nothing could fit in them. We also witnessed a 4-year-old girl being spoken to quite harshly by the carousel operator because she wanted to ride without her mother. (Definitely not the child's fault)

It's actually a very nice park, but the planning needs to be better. We were there last weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.... and we were only able to ride three rides because it was so busy everywhere. We would have had to wait in line for at least an hour each time, which we unfortunately didn't really want to do. Yes, it was the last weekend of the school holidays, and yes, the weather was beautiful, but park owners still need to plan better. For example, online tickets and no longer selling tickets after a certain number of people. There were five of us in total, so we paid almost €180 plus the one-hour ride. If we had gone to the Spring Festival in Nuremberg, we would have taken the same route and could have ridden much more for €180. What a shame...

Unfortunately, the park doesn't make a good impression. All the buildings are somewhat improvised. The kids had fun, and that's the most important thing.

Review of Geiselwind Amusement Park – Absolutely Disappointing! A visit you can definitely skip! Upon entering the park, you were immediately disappointed: Food stands closed – you'd better not go hungry here unless you brought your own snack. Rides closed – an amusement park where half the attractions aren't even open is simply a disgrace. Staff unmotivated – friendliness? None! You're treated like a nuisance instead of being welcome. Run-down rides – rust, squeaky tracks, everything seems old and unloved. Instead of fun, you feel more insecure. Restaurants and restrooms are a disaster – dirty, unkempt, and absolutely not up to the standards you'd expect from a park. All in all: a waste of money and time! The park is in such a state that it seems as if it's slowly rotting away. Anyone looking for fun should urgently go somewhere else. Conclusion: Never again Geiselwind! 👎

I think Freizeitland Geiselwind is a very pleasant park for families. Interesting rides for children and teenagers. There are always quiet spots and places to sit and take a break. The restrooms could be cleaner, though.

Ideally, no star at all! The wait times and the attractions are a total disgrace. Two rides broke down during the ride: one roller coaster had to be pulled to the end, and one ride suddenly stopped. The food is a complete disaster, far too greasy, and the chef has probably never heard of fries; he just gives us potato slices smeared with oil. From above, the park looks like a dumping ground for outdated carnival equipment. Half of the rides don't work or are out of service due to some kind of defect! Since we were there on a rainy weekday, you can imagine what the wait times are like on a weekend. All in all, the park is an absolute nightmare; I'd rather spend my day in jail. Every lost soul who ventures into this park of tragedies comes out even more lost or disappointed. NEVER AGAIN!!!

A truly beautiful amusement park with something for everyone, whether young or old. The park offers so many options, from animals to roller coasters. And the themed areas are truly fitting and lovingly designed. If you want to spend a fun day with the family, this is a great place.

It's a pity that the park opens at 9:30 a.m., but the rides don't open until 11 or 11:30 a.m.

We've been there twice in just under two months, and both times half the park was closed, including the souvenir shop and some food outlets. Perhaps justifiable for a 20-euro entrance fee, but absolutely impossible for that price.

The park itself is beautiful, with many themed areas, something for all ages. The food is good, a bit expensive, but normal for an amusement park. BUT, if something breaks... first, you can hardly find any staff, then you're supposed to take care of it yourself because the staff can't understand you, and all you get on the phone is, "Just go to the administration." That's so customer-unfriendly.

Yesterday and the day before yesterday, we were in Geiselwind with three adults and three children, staying overnight from Monday to Tuesday. There's nothing to complain about the fact that the park is showing its age and some rides were out of service. For these entrance fees, one could expect a functioning park. The sanitary facilities are well-spaced throughout the area, but in my opinion, there's a lot to be desired in terms of space (a kilo bowl) and hygiene. The park itself is very spacious, and there's a lot to discover in the forest. There's also a petting zoo and various animal species. In some areas of the park, there was nothing going on because it didn't look very inviting. The park employees didn't seem motivated, sometimes even disinterested. The rides were otherwise okay for the kids. As for the prices in the park itself for food and drink, everyone has to make up their own minds, but we had both with us. Now for our accommodation at the Seaside Hotel opposite the park, which was great (the accommodation was called "Pirate Ship"), clean with a small terrace, and a small but nice TV. There's also a restaurant nearby where The evening buffet is not worth the price and leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast buffet was included in the price and wasn't that great either. So next time we won't go here, it just doesn't work.

Super nice and not too crowded. However, the staff could really use a friendly training course. Otherwise, everything was great. The kids and we had a lovely day.

Food is terrible, drinks and ice cream are way too expensive

The park is unfortunately very outdated and dirty. You have to be extremely careful about what you eat and drink here. The fried noodles are so cooked that they're almost burnt, and they're crispier than crispbread. There are bees in the slush ice cream. If you ask the staff about it, they'll tell you they can get a new one. But hey, I just said there's a bee in here? Yes, we can't give you your money back!!!! Either you get a new one or none at all... You write the operator an email, but it's simply ignored. It's a real shame. You really don't pay a lot of money in this park, and the rides are mostly old and breakable. Some attractions are great, but mostly everything is old and run down. It used to be a nice park, but they're simply cutting corners here.

Awesome park. We've been there twice and will be back. The dinosaur show deserves special mention; our boys were absolutely thrilled!

The roller coasters are really fun! The hang glider was our favorite, especially – we rode it several times in a row.
