Admission and rides are good, food in the park is a bit expensive for what you get; I've never eaten such a bad currywurst. The claw machines are set up to make a profit, as far as that's possible. I'd say 1 in 100 grips are strong/as adjustable. In the candy shop, only edible paper costs 2.50 more per lollipop than at the funfair. To be honest, based on the prices inside the park, I'd recommend a different theme park. Buying tickets online is hardly worth it; the queues are just as long as the queues for new ticket buyers.

Overall, a really nice day out for children. My daughter had two really nice days there. Since you pay once and can come twice, the price is really reasonable. The day was almost entirely empty on both Tuesday and Friday days at the beginning of July. There was no need to queue anywhere. Unfortunately, some of the staff were very unfriendly, even though they really don't have much to do. For example, the lady at the crow's nest tried to get rid of people quickly.

A lovely amusement park for a day with children. We've rarely laughed so much when we were being shot at from the shore by other visitors with water cannons, which we, of course, responded to... In the heat, our wet clothes were very refreshing and dried quickly. The soap bubble show was wonderful. The crepes, available at at least two stands, were light and delicious, while later on, the Chinese food was quite expensive, fatty, and boring. It consisted almost entirely of noodles with so few vegetables that I thought they'd forgotten them. And the sauce wasn't sweet and sour, as advertised. At the very bottom of the cardboard box were about 2 square centimeters of vegetables. Value of the product? Very small. Afterward, we were unpleasantly full and tired from all this greasy food. We should have eaten another crepe! But there's other food too... It's a lovely park, which, as I heard, is still owner-managed. We think that's a great thing and are happy to support something like that.

We were there during the week. The park opens early, most of the rides don't start until about an hour or two later... otherwise, the attractions were okay, especially the overgrown one 😂 The restrooms hadn't been cleaned in a while, according to the schedule, and they looked it, as did the trash cans, which were already half full when the park opened (so they're only emptied sporadically and are starting to smell). The food wasn't that great, but you'll get full (and it's quite expensive). So, can you recommend the park? If you have the money, it's fine, but there are nicer parks for the money.

Our favorite amusement park in the region! Plenty of rides for the whole family, spacious natural enclosures, well-cared-for animals, and no extreme wait times. The staff are all very friendly, and the food is delicious, too. Restrooms and diaper changing facilities are clean and well-maintained. Parking is also a fair €5! We're always happy to come back!

Really cool amusement park. Criticism: With an entrance fee of €45, there's no water dispenser for refills. At 30 degrees Celsius, you could easily spend another €30-35 per person for water at these prices. It's a shame. Otherwise, nothing to complain about; the food is usually okay for the price, but always delicious. Plenty of choice, good rides. But the water is really expensive for three people.

A beautiful amusement park with something for everyone. New rides have been added. However, one of the newer roller coasters, Cobra, has the worst head cushioning I've ever experienced; I get a terrible headache after the ride. For some attractions, like Flurp Street, the motto seems to be "The main thing is that it's extremely loud, then it's exciting; it doesn't need to be anything more."

As an adult without children, definitely not. The areas for very young children have been renovated, and the rides may be fun for kids, but for teenagers or adults, this park is a complete disaster. I've been to the park four times already. A lot has changed in recent years, and I find the offerings very diverse. I also think the Slingshot in the World of Merlin is the absolute highlight for me. The feeling during the ride is absolutely unique and unlike any other park in Germany that I know of. Admission is worth it for that alone. I'll be coming back this year with my son, and the park also offers plenty of variety for children. Due to the constant development, there are regular new features that make the park very interesting. Food is available at several locations in the park. I'd love to come back! :)

The cleanliness of the restrooms is a major drawback, but otherwise the park has developed tremendously under new management 👍🏻 It used to take two hours to get through, but now one day isn't enough 👍🏻 The parking situation could be significantly improved, though. 5 euros for parking on a grassy area where you sometimes have to be careful not to damage the underbody, and then end up sitting in traffic for three-quarters of an hour just to get out of the lot, is unacceptable 👎🏻 It used to work better, when parking on the field was still free.

We had the opportunity to be there over the weekend. We arrived at opening time and left half an hour before closing, only because we didn't have the energy to ride anything anymore. It was well worth the price, especially since we can enter again for free within 50 days as part of the 2+1 promotion. The attractions don't open at the same time, some at 10 and some at 11. I was in the bathroom several times, all of them were clean and smelled good. I can recommend the park to everyone, whether adults or children, everyone will find something for themselves to try. With children, you have to make sure they are taller than 140 cm (and they really look at this) if they want to try a slightly more serious attraction. The prices of food and drinks are high. It's worth taking with you. There aren't many animals in the zoo areas, but there is also an animal petting zoo. The conditions for the animals could be improved.

A very nice family park. A combination of roller coasters is ideal for beginners. Excellent value for money. The food selection is top-notch, even better than in some other parks. The themed elements are very well done. Rides other than the main attractions operate alternately during the off-season. The walk-through rides are good. The animals feel at home here. There's a petting zoo for the little ones. I'm excited about the park's future. In my opinion, all that's missing is a large roller coaster, a rafting facility, and a dark ride to round out the park's portfolio. If you like funfair attractions, you'll find plenty here. Great, keep up the good work.

Overall, it's a cozy, pleasant amusement park with interesting and a few adrenaline-pumping rides, very clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the opening hours aren't daily from... to... like other amusement parks during the season; instead, it's simply closed for a week in the middle of summer (as was the case again today). Since this information is very hidden on the website (at least on smartphones), we only discovered it when we found ourselves in front of closed gates after a 1.5-hour drive (the same thing happened to us three years ago).

My visit to the amusement park on June 18, 2025, was a real adventure! The day began, shortly after the park opened, with a trip to the restroom. The restroom at the park entrance hadn't been cleaned in a while. It looked as if some guests had been busy leaving their own art installations on the sink for the past seven days. After this creative input, we continued towards the animal enclosure. On the way there, we discovered trash cans. The trash cans were already so full early in the morning that they had probably created a mountain of trash overnight. Arriving at the animal enclosure, we were greeted by a mixture of a plastic cup exhibition and a wildlife park. A monkey had escaped from its enclosure and raided the feeding station near the monkey platform. (The monkey was peaceful and probably having a good time.) The rides were quite entertaining, but you shouldn't look too closely unless you like rust and dirt. What's not entirely clear is whether the broken lights and protruding cables on the rides are simply part of the park's image or are skillfully ignored. The "Dino Hall" could also be renamed "Chlorine Plastic Paradise." (Couldn't visit the entire area due to the stench.) The Pirate River ride offers a brief glimpse of the park's own garbage dump. In conclusion: We had a fun and quirky day, but we won't be coming back. Unfortunately, the park seems very neglected.

The visit was sobering because you can clearly see and feel that the park is showing its age. Some rides are almost unbearable. They rumble and rattle, you hit everything, and the noise is deafening – for example, the Cobra Coaster. Simply not a pleasant ride experience. It was over 30 degrees Celsius on the day we visited: a huge disappointment when both the log flume and the water playground were out of service. We had to leave the sea lion show after 10 minutes because there was no shade and the announcer was screaming so loudly into the microphone that she was inaudible. The prices for food, drinks, or ice cream are barely affordable. You also have to pay extra for many small items and the VR headsets. Of course, parking also costs extra when you leave. The park entrance fee was simply too high for that. Things we liked: Curse of the Kraken and Merlin. We have the 2-in-1 tickets, but will we come back? I don't know.

Ordered Europa Park on Wish 😄 Admission prices: fair, but not cheap. Currently, however, there's a cool promotion where you can come back for free within 50 days. Food: great selection, including special items, prices are totally reasonable. Sea lion show: was my highlight :) really impressive. The roller coasters and restrooms seem very run-down in places. Something is broken or out of order literally everywhere. Payment: bring cash; many places don't accept cards, or at one, the card reader was broken. Some vending machines were empty or didn't work. Important in summer: apply sunscreen to yourself and your children and wear a hat. There's little shade, and you can get sunstroke very quickly! Cleanliness: could be better, in my opinion. The floor is very dirty, the water in the water coasters is brown and smells bad. Trash cans are already overflowing in the morning. At the petting zoo, I would have liked to have had soap/water or hand sanitizer. Definitely bring some.

WEITERE KOMMENTARE IN Google

We visit your park every year with great anticipation – but after our visit this year, I'm considering for the first time whether it might be time for an alternative. As a mother of five, a trip to your park requires a lot of planning and saving money. I want to give my children a very special day – but this visit was unfortunately fraught with disappointment. The frustration began at the entrance: My daughter's voucher, which she was so excited to use, was not accepted – even though the school voucher didn't have an expiration date. For us, this suddenly meant unexpected additional costs. We were about to turn back, but my motherly heart couldn't take this day away from the children. In the park itself, unfortunately, about half of the rides were only partially operational. Roller coasters stopped mid-ride. This not only dampened the mood but also led to insecurity among the children. I understand that you also incur costs, but given the high admission price, I have certain expectations. When we ate at the park like every year, we were disappointed again: The prices had gone up, the portions had shrunk – it was really frustrating. Of course, we bring our own food, but I would like to offer my children a hot meal. What I also absolutely cannot understand: There is no sun protection in the toddler area or in the Asian-themed area. The sun was burning mercilessly, and I saw several visitors who were visibly unwell. Why there are no awnings or umbrellas here is a mystery to me – instead, it seems like there are new slot machines every five meters. An amusement park should offer one thing above all else: protection, fun, and a fair environment for families – and not the feeling that new costs are constantly being added. To be honest, what annoyed me most was the way the voucher was handled. No expiration date – but still not valid? That was disappointing and hopefully will be handled differently in the future. I really hope that my feedback is taken seriously – because we would like to continue to be your guests. But for that to happen, some things have to change.

Simply a fantastic amusement park. The park is now in its 9th season under new management, and a lot has changed in that time. The themed areas are beautifully and vividly designed, the animal enclosures make a good impression, and the rides are fun. I don't understand all the negative comments. Sure, if you're only used to Europa-Park, Phantasialand, etc., then this park is a bit different. But for a rather inconspicuous place in Lower Franconia, this park has a lot to offer. The prices in the restaurants and bars may be quite high, but the quality rarely disappoints. The park staff are generally friendly and occasionally have a joke up their sleeves. The shows and entertainment on offer in the park are also top-notch. The wait times aren't as long as in other parks. The many trees also mean there are always plenty of shady spots. If you live nearby or plan to come often, we recommend an annual pass. When the weather is good, it's always a perfect destination. I'm happy to come back whenever I have time.

Geiselwind amusement park is suitable for older children as well as very small children. There are a few nice attractions, but some that in my opinion are unnecessary (Ramses) or should be replaced because they are old and hardly anyone uses them anymore. There is a small zoo that needs to be changed for some of the animals (enclosures like those for the peacocks are far too small and there is hardly any shade apart from a little house for the monkeys). What I don't like at all is that one of the rides (Top of the World) has been out of service for years and still hasn't been repaired or replaced. I wonder what the operators are doing, other amusement parks would have taken it down long ago. I've known the park for 35 years and, well, it's okay, but there are better, more modern ones.

First, the positives. The entrance fee is okay. The park is very nicely designed and generally clean. No long wait times, even during the holidays BUT... The food and drink prices are absolutely exorbitant. Almost €5 for a bottle of water? No alternatives like free drinking water stations or the like. 2 adults, 2 children for lunch including ice cream almost €85? It's okay that an amusement park is a bit expensive. But this is extortionate. A crepe over €6?? The food is not only expensive, but unfortunately not good. I wouldn't even consider it "standard amusement park food." As several people have already written here: how can it be that the restrooms (we were in two different ones about 20 minutes after opening) are so dirty and smell like a highway toilet? A beautiful park in itself, but you can tell that the strategy here is clearly "profit is made through catering." And it's best to go to the restroom before entering the park. Every rest stop is cleaner. It's a shame, it's actually a really beautiful park.

We visited the park for the first time yesterday. You can tell the park is showing its age. The kids still had fun, though. Unfortunately, in the middle of the season, many shops were closed on Sundays, and the Top of the World, the actual landmark, is completely overgrown with plants. We were also very disappointed with the restroom facilities. Given the number of people and the hefty entrance fee, you'd expect regular toilet cleaning. I took a few photos of everything. We were there on June 15, 2025, and the toilet cleaning schedule was last confirmed on June 12. We would have liked to stay longer, but there's no way to leave the caravan parked longer than the car battery lasts, as there's no electricity. We would have gladly paid a corresponding fee for that. Although we did get a second visit with the tickets within the next 50 days, we'll save that; we'll go back again—and not even for free. Plus, even if you drive a few more kilometers, you'll get much better deals.

We were here during the Whitsun holidays! It was surprisingly quiet, so our 8-year-old daughter was able to enjoy many of the rides without having to wait. The park itself would be very nice. It was already a highlight 35 years ago :) However, the park is showing its age. The park could be kept in much better condition with little effort. For example, trash cans were still full from the day before at 9:30 a.m. There were weeds everywhere - a gardener could make a big difference here. The restrooms should also be cleaned by 9:30 a.m. The many food stalls are in top condition! There's probably a lack of money and staff. The staff sometimes have to operate several rides. We hope an investor can be found to breathe new life into the park. But as I said, small things without money or effort would make a big difference. And then we'd be within reach of 5 stars.

It's definitely worth a trip, but I still think it's very expensive for children. Considering children ages 4 and up have to pay €37.90, that's quite a hefty price tag.

It's a beautiful park that's suitable for the whole family, from young to old. You can usually do all the attractions in one day, but it can get busier on holidays or weekends. The entrance fees and the prices in the park are relatively high for the rural area. The star deducted is for the overpriced water from the vending machine! Water should always be available at a reasonable price. However, there are numerous offers and promotions, as well as free entry for birthday children or vouchers that you can use. You can also bring your own food, and then the prices are reasonable. The staff have always seemed friendly. There are plenty of parking spaces for €5 a day. Even the long queues at the entrance are dealt with quickly. There could be more toilets, and they could be cleaned more often. We go to the park every now and then, about once or twice a year, because we're pretty satisfied and have a great time.

I feel very sorry for the animals. But otherwise, it was nice, except that the staff generally barely speak German, and some of them didn't even respect the minimum height requirement. We went to the 4D cinema at the beginning and were incredibly surprised. The young man there was very funny, direct, and open; he completely calmed my child's fear with his manner, so much so that my son absolutely wanted to go on five more rides and even one more at the end. Thank you so much for that, if you happen to notice. The lady at the spinning cups was also very amusing and friendly. One downside, however, is the food: Sure, it's an amusement park, and it's understandable that it's expensive, but the taste was absolutely terrible (burgers).

Unfortunately, the park is a bit run down. But there's plenty for small children to ride and see. The food is extremely overpriced and extremely bad. I don't know how they even sell something like that. Also, there was nowhere to warm up inside, which is a real downside with children. I think it's a shame that something in the Franconia region has to be allowed to deteriorate financially. There's clearly a lack of a concept here.

I was at Freizeit Land again today, June 9, 2025, and got my annual pass for the third time. I really enjoy the park, but unfortunately, this time it wasn't as good.... First, to the entrance. Apparently, they don't use the first entrance at all anymore, but only the second one, and even then, there's no attendant or anything else. It was pure chaos, with lines that stretched forever, only for people to end up standing in the wrong place. Even though we were early and didn't have to wait in the whole line, we stood in line alone at the ticket counters for a good 45 minutes. Then we went into the park, and the first impression was once again great. Everything looked well-maintained, many trees had been trimmed since my last visit, and there were a few small new features too. At second glance, however, it wasn't so nice. Here's what I experienced/saw: The FlubStrett (funhouse) no longer had an employee to take care of it. People were just running in and out randomly, and the elevator at the beginning was no longer simulated properly. Furthermore, they simply cordoned off a small part of the fun with cable ties to avoid having to repair a broken turntable. HorrorLazarett (horror house) also had no employee at the entrance, people were running back and forth randomly, and a good 99% of the figures weren't moving anymore. It was still scary, but there's more to it! Valley of the Kings (Funhouse): There's actually only one minor oddity about the Valley of the Kings: they simply left a fence from the front in the way of the shop, most people fly over it, and the staff don't care. Black Hole, Taka Waka (roller coasters): Both rides only have four cars each, and only one car is allowed to run at a time. The queue time is then around 40 minutes. It's a joke, and it could be better. Also, there's only one employee per ride who has to do everything at once. Enzian Express (roller coaster): Here, they simply removed half the cars and reduced the speed. Great, now there's zero capacity and incredibly boring. On the Breakdance, on the other hand, they have an employee who does everything at a snail's pace. Getting on and off feels like it takes 10 minutes. On the Icarus, everything was actually great, but the turntable simply doesn't rotate at all anymore, only the crosses. Too lazy to fix it? Top of the World (observation tower) This place has unfortunately been out of service for a while. I think it's nice that they've left it standing; it's a real landmark, but what I'm wondering is, why are they putting new signs etc. on it when it never seems to open? The store is completely overgrown... At the labyrinth, they've allowed some of the figures to become overgrown, which is also a shame. A few general things: The women's restrooms were apparently incredibly dirty. The administration didn't open until 1 p.m. despite a huge rush, the shop at the entrance/exit didn't open until 4 p.m., and some of the employees are really listless. Conclusion: I still like the park. Everyone always says it's like a funfair, but NO, folks, they're just old funfair businesses, but they deserve to be kept open and still look really great. The park has always been in a way that buys up such businesses and refurbishes them, setting them up again in the park with a special theme. With many of them, you don't even notice that they were once on the move. These businesses aren't any less valuable than others just because they can be transported. It really annoys me when I hear things like that... I'll visit the park again soon and see if things have improved. It's actually so nice and beautiful. A visit is usually worthwhile, but it's difficult at the moment. Sure, the season didn't get off to a great start because of the fire, but you have to make the best of it, which may not be the case here. But I haven't been this disappointed by Geiselwind in a long time. The food was great, after all.

We've had annual passes for our children and us for years. The park's price/performance ratio is absolutely top-notch. It's constantly being renovated and redesigned. The only thing is that some of the staff don't really speak German, especially in the restaurant area. 🍟🍔🍕🌭, and the quality of the food is overpriced for the price. You can bring your own food if you want. 😅 Nevertheless, we give the park 5 stars.

Especially recommended for small children... petting zoo, playgrounds, giant slide, carousel, etc.... The currywurst... so-so... The fries weren't good... Expensive drinks, and the food was also expensive. Solero ice cream with a stick costs €3.50. You'll quickly lose a lot of money... Otherwise, a really nice amusement park

A beautiful amusement park with many attractions. Unfortunately, the staffing shortage is noticeable here too, as not all rides open at the same time. At least not early on. You can easily stand in line for ages to get food. Not because there are so many people there, but because there's often only one employee behind the counter. But if you come here, you plan on spending plenty of time anyway, and that's okay. The attractions are okay; there are better ones. But the park is worth it for up to 10 years. The highlight, after that, there's not much else, is definitely The Kraken!!! The restrooms also need a fresh coat of paint. All in all, a very average park.

Freizeitland Geiselwind is and remains simply beautiful. Even 30 years ago, I often went there with my parents, and now I do with my family as well. I highly recommend the Adventure Pass to every amusement park fan. There are great deals here at Christmas time, and after two visits, you'll have paid for it. The park may be a bit older, but they're trying to keep everything in good condition. The rides have everything for the little ones, but even the biggest adrenaline junkies can enjoy themselves. We're fans and love going there; we went 15 times last year. Oh, an insider tip: ALWAYS drive right up to the first two rows in the parking lot. Hope my review was helpful. Feel free to leave me a heart :)

We had a wonderful day here. It was especially nice that there are attractions and rides for younger children. Most parks require a minimum height of 120 cm, so there was something for everyone here. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A gardener needs to walk through the maze, and the weeds in some corners could be removed from the joints; otherwise, everything else was clean.

Today, on Children's Day, we wanted to go to Freizeitland Geiselwind. We drove for almost three hours. What happened to us there is hard to put into words. The cashiers were unfriendly, as the discount retailer Netto had apparently rented the park today. We didn't read anything about it, neither online nor anywhere else. Our free tickets, which we received on our last visit, are invalid starting tomorrow. Giving Freizeitland Geiselwind one star is far too much today for this performance. Thank you so much for that.

We went to the park today – thanks to our company. The park may be old, but it's truly a life-changing highlight. A well-preserved old children's park – one that still exists! Our daughter and her friends loved it, and so did we. The prices for the food and drinks were reasonable, and the taste was good. We'll be back! Even though a lot of it is old, we're happy that there's still a cute old theme park that reminds us of our childhood!

We've always enjoyed visiting Freizeitland because it offers something for kids of all ages. Unfortunately, on our last visit, we discovered that the park is anything but in good condition. The restrooms, in particular, are a complete disgrace; some of the floors are rotten and full of holes. Cleaning seems to be sporadically done. Nevertheless, we wanted to spend some time in the park again today, June 1, 2025, with our two youngest children. Unfortunately, the park was closed today for a private event hosted by Netto, and we weren't allowed in. Naturally, we weren't particularly happy about this and wanted to check with the service point to see what would happen to our free tickets, which were only valid until today. But we never got that far because, on the way to the service point, two park employees approached us on Segways and told us in a very unfriendly manner that the park was closed to visitors today (except for Netto employees). As it turned out later, one of the two was the deputy manager. I'm not sure if statements like "watch out, kid, or something's going to happen" contribute to customer loyalty 🤔 Well, whatever, there are other theme parks with friendly staff 😁

We arrived today with two small children, aged 1 and 2. We checked the website beforehand, only to be sent to a service point and then sent away completely because of a closed event for Netto. After a long search, we finally found a post at the very bottom of the website, in small print. Simply catastrophically poor communication. No social media post, a hidden notice on the event page. Sorry, but that's not what a family-friendly theme park looks like.

The view there is really cool, and the houses are great, although they don't have kitchens, but they're good. What I find outrageous are the prices. A buffet dinner for two adults and one child costs €90 without drinks, which makes you feel like you're being ripped off. We drove 5 minutes and went to the restaurant, and I paid €60 with an appetizer. The prices should be reconsidered. Beer is €4.70, Cokes and the like are €4, and ice creams are €3-4.

Probably the best place to get decent food in the park itself. We had currywurst and fries, both were good and tasty. The fries are automatically cut, which is a good thing. The burgers looked okay, buns from a bag. We can't say whether they tasted good. Overall, it's recommended; the prices are typical for an amusement park, not for those on a tight budget. A portion of fries was €4, a burger was between €6.50 and €9, and soft drinks were around €4/0.5l. (As of May 2025). I would come again. Update: We had the burgers there today, but unfortunately, they weren't that great. The meat was very soft and more reminiscent of meatballs than burger patties. The fries were good again, and I can actually recommend them. At €4 per portion, the price is still reasonable.
