The rating refers to the winter season Winterwonderland. Admission €23 from 1m We were 4 adults and 2 children. Unfortunately, the attractions were not as expected and some were very dangerous. 1. Ice skating rink. The employee who gives out the shoes was very unfriendly to many guests, which I noticed. Very moody and sometimes aggressive. The track itself was not a track but rather plastic panels with a special layer. I couldn't see anyone actually driving because the material didn't allow for that. Max. 1 minute and you are voluntarily off the “ice” again. Big disappointments for the kids. 2. Ninja maze The idea is great. A big labyrinth to explore, hide and have fun. But! The entire area was full of ice. Regardless of whether it was the path or the steps, you slipped very often. Especially children + high curbs along the path are very dangerous. We were lucky that child 1 didn't fall on a board when he slipped, but there wasn't much missing here. I don't understand why you don't sprinkle in a family park. 3. Food The food was varied so that there was something for everyone, but we didn't like it. Bratwurst has a strange taste Doner was ok. Crepes with cinnamon + sugar were too expensive at €5.30. You still pay entry and a small surcharge over normal prices is OK but not like that. 4. Animals The animals on site were the highlight, especially in the petting zoo you can have fun even as an adult. Overall, everything was very disappointing and we won't be coming to Winter Wonderland again

I was here at Halloween time. The park was really well decorated.

We were in the park with 10 people on a Sunday and we all had a lot of fun. There is something for all age groups. The FreefallTower is great. A great family park with good restaurants (unfortunately a bit expensive) and enough toilets. Parking costs €5 per vehicle. Dogs are allowed in the park. A successful day for us that was really fun

Since we live in the Rhineland, we are permanent guests of the big competition with the P at the beginning. The leisure land was a welcome change. Due to the weather, one or two things were not in operation, so the adults had a bit of a hard time (no roller coasters), but that didn't stop the fun. The shows were really cute and also provided a welcome warm-up break. We really liked the lighting and the overall ambience, so we stayed "until the bitter end" despite the bitter cold. The food in the heated restaurant was delicious and fairly priced. We were no longer able to use the ice skating rink because of all the other programs. Here we were very positively surprised by the statement that the skate rental was free. That's great! All in all, an entertaining and lovely day for us - even without a rollercoaster!

We and our children really enjoyed it. Beautifully landscaped playgrounds and themed worlds, great rides and adventures for young and old. Animals/water playground + changing rooms. Lots to discover and bright children's eyes. Price/performance completely appropriate. Food offering something for everyone, from savory to sweet, everything is available. The staff was very friendly despite the huge rush. Kudos to the girls from the glitter tattoo shop. At the end of the day, being so loving and friendly is really great. We'll be back. If you want to start your day at the theme park even more relaxed, use the Seaside Resort opposite. We did it and it was a completely successful weekend.

Nice park, but the condition of the toilets spoiled our mood a bit. Toilet vans/houses urgently need to be replaced or renovated. All I can say about the cleanliness is that it was borderline. My son didn't want to use the toilets.

Winter Wonderland is highly recommended. Like a Christmas market. There was still snow when we were there, which made the whole thing very special.

You shouldn't expect too much for the price. Not comparable in quality to other parks. We went to Winter Wonderland. Parking lot would need wood chips or other flooring. When it's wet it's just a mud fight. Many rides are getting old. There is an urgent need to invest here. At least new paint. Some of it looks run down. Price/performance at the snack bar is not suitable. €7.50 for a flatbread with rotisserie meat. The two boys in the kiosk seemed a little overwhelmed and also packed the burnt meat into the flatbread. It's OK to visit once if you don't have too high expectations.

Went to the park during Winter Wonderland. We are a family of four with a kindergarten child and an infant. The journey/arrival already made us think about turning around. Lots of potholes and the parking lot looked more like a festival area after heavy rain. When we left the car got stuck... Many areas and concession stands in the park were closed. In other areas there was incredibly loud music (e.g. magic garden or something similar). For a drink, in our case an apple spritzer from a bottle, €4 is pretty steep. The junior enjoyed individual rides and seeing the animals was a nice change. Hence two stars.

My girlfriend and I were with you on January 6th, 2025 for the last day of Winter Wonderland. Beautifully designed and everything is beautiful. decorated. It was great weather. Crazy Christmas the show at 2 p.m. is great. We had 2x1 flyers for one person each with free entry. We thought it was good. Cashier no hello and really weird. Not a friendly look. The toilets were dirty and had a bad smell. Where is the cleaning staff? It only had one restaurant open. To be honest, I think it's not enough. Despite everything, we had a great day.

A very nice trip in the middle of winter with children.

The three of us visited Winterland and were extremely disappointed. There were hardly any attractions open and the paths were neither cleared nor gritted. It was either super wet or slippery. Once and never again!

We were here in winter and I have to say, even if not all the rides are open, you can still spend a whole day here, especially for families. The food was also great, something for everyone

Nice amusement park especially for children and young people. In the winter season some things were closed, but the rest was beautifully decorated and Christmassy.

We were here in Winter Wonderland and were really looking forward to the day. Overall the day was lovely and the children (4 and 5) had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, there weren't as many warm-up options as were in the description. Toilets were completely flooded after 3 p.m., there is only one restaurant where you can warm up, but here you even had to make your own hot chocolate and then pay almost €4 for it. The Indorhalle seemed to be still closed at 3:00 p.m. (it was completely dark) whereupon an employee said “a colleague here must have forgotten to turn on the light 😅” 🤷🏼‍♀️ can happen sometimes... NOT! Unfortunately disappointing and not recommended for a winter visit, although the rides for children were great and completely sufficient.

Good improvement over the last few years. However, there are still one or two attractions missing that weren't at folk festivals ages ago. But still beautifully done with lots of attractions

It's getting a bit old, we had malfunctions or non-functions several times at various attractions. The whole area seems dirty, the trash cans are full and the floor (inside and outside) is rarely cleaned. Not worth the entrance fee. But the children had fun and would probably have stayed longer.

After 3 hours and three rides we left the park because it was completely overcrowded. The parking lot costs €5 and is partly made up of an unmown meadow. I therefore find the price/performance to be inadequate. The visit was in August.

Great price-performance ratio, especially in winter. With children you can hardly do everything in one day. We could happily open an hour earlier in winter. One point deducted for the toilets, where you have to leave the door open with a child because of the space, some were closed in the evening and the rest were probably not cleaned or refilled with toilet paper during the day. Nevertheless, we had a great day

Nice little park with a petting zoo. Some attractions were once mobile and have found a permanent home there. There are many toilets available. Playgrounds and an indoor hall invite you to play and only make the day boring for the children. The range of food and drinks has something for everyone and is relatively inexpensive. Deducting 1 star means that some parts look a bit old.

Our winter visit with toddler and baby was a flop! The toilets are dirty and smelly. Many were blocked. The changing room was dirty and no source of heat! At -2°C, changing a baby without heating in this cold is a horror! Poor organization of the meal, forever waiting. In winter only "the sociable anchor" is open as a warm restaurant - extremely crowded, dirty and not enough places to warm up. We will definitely never come back in winter!

After 2 season tickets NEVER AGAIN!!!! We visited the Freizeitland as a family for two years. The dirt and defects got worse and worse. Shortly after opening, the toilets were very dirty, see photos. More and more toilets in the park have been closed; sometimes you have to walk a long way to reach a toilet. Very difficult, especially with children. In addition, many rides are broken or otherwise closed. And garbage cans were already overfull early on, so apparently they weren't even emptied the evening before (see photos). Let's see how long this review is online, the owner of the Freizeitland has negative reviews deleted due to alleged defamation (evidence available). And this despite objectively negative and personally experienced incidents or statements.

Bad organization at the entrance! Let people queue at the online ticket checkout in sub-zero temperatures and then not open it. So that you can then go back to the back of the queue. If you don't open the cash registers, at least put up a sign, thank you! The facility is getting old, fewer rides are open in winter. Poor value for money on drinks and food.

Total disappointment.. Not really anything decorated.. Not really anything Christmassy but advertise it.. Totally disappointed

Went there for the first time today and had a nice day. Some of the park is showing its age, but there is something for everyone and the area with the animals is very nice.

Went to the winter wonderland today with many of our club members. We had a wonderful and happy pre-Christmas afternoon. Many children went to bed happy today. Can only recommend the Geiselwind leisure area. Thumbs up.

We went there with our 4 year old son and he had a lot of fun. There is enough to experience for this age. It could use a bit of renovation in some places but it's perfectly fine for a day trip! Unfortunately our son fell and was injured. A first aider named Julia came immediately and looked after him so warmly. Unfortunately we had to go home sooner to have it checked out at the hospital. Because we were leaving earlier, Julia offered to send her our contact details and we would get free tickets for the next season. This is really so incredibly friendly and not a given. Thank you! I can highly recommend the park for families with small children!

The leisure area has made great developments, we went twice this year and will be back next year

Unfortunately, after several letters, I have not received an answer or a statement about the racist depictions in the “Dactari Adventure” ride.

Unfortunately difficult to reach by public transport. A direct bus line to the amusement park would make sense to offer an alternative to the car. So you have to drive 1 hour from Kitzingen and then walk about 1 km. This needs to be improved!

Ideal for family trips, I recommend it.

We really enjoy being here. The operators have increased significantly in recent years and are always coming up with something new. There is now a lot for little ones too. We would like to see new films for the 4D cinema. Unfortunately, the star deduction is due to the unfriendliness of some of the employees on the rides. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any size information on a ride (only age) and queued up with my son. There was a stroppy response from the employee: “Can’t you read?” I asked if this could be phrased in a friendly way, as I didn't have any bad intentions. Then a wave and a shake of the head in my direction. I am aware of the volume of visitors that have to be dealt with every day and how unfriendly and stressful they can be. However, I know other theme parks that can do this balancing act well and some of the Geiselwind employees can do it too. Nevertheless, we enjoy coming back every year - especially for the Halloween special! Really very successful! Thanks for the great experience.

Prices a little high considering that some rides are also closed... However, a nice park with animals and many attractions for both adults and children!

It was okay, very run down in places, but kids still had fun

This was our second time in the park for the Halloween Special. We really liked it in 2022 and that's why we came back this year. This year we were disappointed. Many rides make a shaky impression, especially the Tacka Wacka Bahn. You have to be afraid that everything will fall apart. The employees at the rides seem absolutely unmotivated and, with a few exceptions, are unfriendly to the guests. The food at the food stalls this time was also a complete disaster. Unmotivated employees and the food was not good. Except for ice cream and sweets, that was fine. We also used the Horror Mazes attractions. And I have to say, that one experience was so unpleasant for me. It's okay if real scarers scare the guests, etc. But separating one person from the group and them forever!!! not to let them go any further, so that they are completely alone!!! Having to go through the attraction and being chased the whole time by this one frightener and then not being allowed out at the exit for ages, for me that has nothing to do with Halloween and fun. This borders on harassment. I was aware that horror mazes like this are frightening and that there are also one or two scary situations. But that was just absolute misconduct and I was just annoyed. You should set certain limits on your frighteners. This almost 20 minute experience ruined my entire day and evening and I won't be setting foot in your attractions again anytime soon. The park itself is beautifully decorated, it's also nice that there is a small animal park and you can also do a few newer attractions, but the park should urgently check the staff motivation, the quality of the food and the safety of the old attractions! !!

The rides could be better maintained throughout. Leftover food and empty drinks were lying around everywhere in the ghost trains. In addition, the roller coaster was only open for hours and other rides were complete. closed. Not recommended in my opinion.

If you come with children who enjoy the various attractions and enjoy them a lot, it will definitely be great fun. There is a lot on offer and everything is great and well maintained. What bothered me were the many vending machines on every corner, which particularly invite children to take euros out of their parents' pockets, and the overpriced prices at the food stalls and restaurants. A little self-catering helps save a lot of money here. I liked the numerous toilets and seating areas throughout the park. We were here during the Bavarian autumn holidays and had almost no waiting time for the rides.

A drying option in autumn would be nice :) Otherwise everything is good

We were there for Halloween. The theme was well implemented. The scare crew did a great job again. I thought it was good that there was a specially designated scare zone because of the kids. All in all a great visit.

Some things are already getting old. (Missing and defective brackets) Easily annoyed staff on the rides. And apparently you can smoke cannabis in this park. It should be considered taking precautions with signs stating that any use of cannabis is punished with very high fines. The first and the last time. Thanks.

The new owner offers a lot of new things. Has many extra events like Halloween. Really cool. Were there on Halloween. Cool thing. Only some employees should be better briefed on how to deal with customers.

Some rides were closed which wasn't so bad. But the gastronomy cannot be recommended. We ate cake that was still frozen and couldn't explain it to the employee behind the counter because she didn't speak a word of German and almost no English. Not recommended.

In and of itself ok for families with small children. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not in line. The entire park looks outdated. Unfortunately, a few attractions were closed and completely blocked. The employees at the Halloween event were cool and had fun.

Not recommended. At first glance it was unkempt and very outdated. No attention to detail and consistently disinterested staff. There are plenty of toilets, but they all smell of urine and are very dirty early on, as if there were no cleaners. Paper and empty beer bottles on the paths, the carriages of the rides are dirty and the animals are constantly exposed to extreme noise. I won't even get started on the reindeer's tiny enclosures, but what are they doing here anyway?! For children between 3-6 years there is a very pretty farm area, which seems newer as it is not as weathered as the rest of the park. When there are a lot of people, you wait in line for a long time and then leave the individual rides disappointed by the unimaginative design and disappointed after the short ride.

You could actually be happy to have an amusement park nearby, but it's better not to be run by legally convicted fraudsters. We had 4 free tickets (for 4 children) from school and after-school care that were issued with no apparent time limit. At the checkout I was told they were only valid for the summer holidays. Why? That's right! And then I was 140! Euro more going on. Apart from that, there was a note at the checkout stating that vouchers would only be accepted upon presentation of ID, i.e. for every child and that wasn't even all of mine. Because too many were faked. Surprise!!! I wouldn't have even had it for my children. Couldn't be found on the homepage either. This all smacks of either a scam or blatant stupidity. Speaking of which, on the homepage (mobile version) it says big at the top, opens 9.30. 3 guesses who waited until 11am. At the bottom, in a barely legible box, was 11 o'clock. The park itself, well, kids had fun, a lot of it was old. The white water ride stank because it had tipped over. The show... shame about the walruses. Plumbing phew. For less I can get a nice park in the Playmobil Funpark and for a little more in Rust I can get a lot more. From the first minute I felt like I was being taken for a ride and would normally have turned around and headed off to Fürth or Heroldsbach. In the future, the amusement park will only see me driving past on the A3.

A great park! For children at the end of kindergarten, the fun really begins. Under this age I think other parks make more sense. I am a mother of four children, now three grandchildren and work with U3 children as well as a dog owner. Wheelchair-accessible toilets should be requested in advance, as not every toilet is accessible. Otherwise there are enough toilets scattered around the park! The paths are wheelchair and stroller friendly. Some attractions are not, due to the construction. But that shouldn't stop you from visiting! There's a lot to see. Dog owners have a decent walking area thanks to the wider paths. Especially with regard to other visitors or other animals, including those from the park. Be careful, rabbits unexpectedly cross your path ;) Trash cans are well distributed at intervals! There are usually large water bowls for the four-legged friends at the kiosks. Since everyone is very thirsty, you have to sometimes ask if these can be refilled. That always makes the staff friendly! We go to the park with and without a dog, both of which have their advantages. Shade in the summertime is not available everywhere. In the upper part of the park, through the trees. But the lower half is flooded with sunshine. *This is less favorable for four-legged friends and people who are sensitive. *This is great for the summer attractions with water! There are always plenty of seating options available! Halloween is worth a visit if you like it. I would like to note here that younger children should be out of the park around 6/6:30 p.m. as the employees do their work in optical disguises with loud devices. They have demarcated zones, although you can witness some scenes at these houses. Parents have to decide for themselves whether this really makes sense for children when the chainsaw of a disguised mummy turns on and others run away screaming, frightened and panicked (example). We're just getting to know winter this year so we can form an opinion. We are looking forward to it :) “We” think the park is great, that’s why we go there every year! -since we know all the parks in Germany, we can also give a good average - We always buy our tickets in advance, but not on a specific day. Surprisingly good. The last time I was at the Geiselwind amusement park was about 20 years ago and a lot has happened. Lots of attractions for young and old. My children had a lot of fun and so did we as parents. I can highly recommend the catapult ball, it is an unforgettable experience!

Unfortunately, we were 1.5 hours early because we had misinformed ourselves. When entering, you have to drive through a barrier that opens automatically. Since we wanted to leave the parking lot straight away because the park was still closed, we were stopped by another barrier at the parking lot exit. We were only able to drive out after having to pay 5 euros for not using the parking space. That was very annoying and doesn't have to be the case in such a situation, it can be solved differently from a technical point of view.

Rides attractions, great. Staff, sometimes a bit unfriendly. Food nothing special, hot dog was served with cold sausage :-(

A wonderful place to spend the whole day with your family. Many attractions, simple or spectacular!! A good mix of rides and playgrounds. Price-performance top!!!!

Halloween....highly recommended Very funny evening when the frighteners are out and about

Too bad. Were in the park on Halloween with moderate crowds. The real horror was the toilet facilities. Water, urine and feces spread on the floor and walls from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. in all facilities. Rubber boots would have been handy. You shouldn't get hungry there. 3 snack stands are amazing. Old fat in the deep fryers and in the sausage roastery. The kebab, not cooked through. Without even riding a roller coaster, we vomited. Sorry, pictures of this disgusting horror have already been forwarded to the health department. We went to many parks. In the middle of summer with a full load of visitors... I've never experienced anything like that. Otherwise...old park, could offer a nice experience as long as you don't have to pee or feel hungry.

Halloween events were always great, unfortunately not at all in 2024. It definitely wasn't worth the money. No real attractions and some rides were only open for hours. And that in the 50th anniversary year. The observation tower has been renovated for years, I'm not laughing. Honestly, if it's no longer profitable, then just shut it down, but delivering something like that is just overpriced! We were deeply disappointed this year and will not be coming back.

Were there yesterday for the “Halloween Special”. Overall, it was a great visit for the kids. It was beautifully decorated in many corners. Unfortunately, many of the pumpkins were already broken or a little moldy, but they had been standing for a while. The rides in the park are reminiscent of a large fair. But of course, it's a small "rural" theme park, not comparable to Phantasialand, Legoland etc. A lot of things are the same as they were 25 years ago 😅 What bothers me, however, are two things and there simply has to be a point deduction for them. Food/drink completely overpriced even for an amusement park and, worst of all, extremely poor and of the cheapest quality. I have never seen such a great price/performance ratio in a negative sense in any park 😵‍💫 The sanitary facilities are simply horrible, the worst, no matter where. Clogged, dirty, defective. And I think this is just a permanent situation, which is a real shame. The smell of the water attractions takes some getting used to. Unfortunately, it just smells stale in many corners. And what I personally find really bad... Animal husbandry in the park. I almost don't believe it is still up to date. The enclosures are in close proximity to often noisy rides. The enclosures are unclean, WAY too small and anything but species-appropriate. People used to do things like that when they didn't know any better. Nowadays, however, one should be aware that such animal husbandry is no longer appropriate. Just sad to see. Even my children found it terrible to watch. We felt terribly sorry for the animals. Therefore unfortunately only 3/5 stars.

Halloween in Freizeitland Geiselwind - price/performance is not right. With an entrance fee of over €40 (from 6 p.m.), I expect the “actors” for the scare areas to be there in time. They weren't and those who were there were unmotivated and listless. I wasn't scared for a second. Here profit is probably the owner's only goal, it is not sustainable. We'll definitely never go there again. Thurn Castle is 100 times better at Halloween time!

Beautiful park for the whole family.

Nice place, prices are reasonable, a bit confusing which, if I understood correctly, is due to the concept. However, you should probably do some work on the cleanliness of the toilets. Our dinner at BlackPerl was surprisingly good. Unfortunately, hardly anyone on the rides spoke German, but they could communicate in English. Most of the staff were also very friendly.

We were there as a family with our children (teenagers). We were able to take the dog with us, which was an advantage. Unfortunately, the rides are very old and in one place or another there was even cause for concern regarding safety (partially broken belts, etc.). The park absolutely needs to invest!! The previous Bavarian flair is also missing! The staff needs to be trained to be customer friendly! The food in the park was quite ok and inexpensive. Caution: Tripping hazards on paths caused by tree roots in the forest area. Here the tar surface is more than in need of renovation. Conclusion: unfortunately not again at the current status. The entrance fee is not justified.

Really cool experience to go during the haloween time. Park is full of decorations and people in costume. Surprisingly quiet with minimal wait times. Admittedly the park is a bit tired and it has the feeling of everything being 'temporary'. In comparison to a Volksfest or Kirchwa, Geiselwind is great value for money. Pay once and ride all day.

A small amusement park that is aimed more at children up to 14 years old. The park always tries to provide new attractions, which sometimes works more or less well and the new children's area turned out to be really cute. Another positive effect is that a large part of the “animal park” had to give way. Anyway, I'm wondering what seals, kangaroos and the like are doing in small enclosures in an amusement park (which is always loud and turbulent). Some visitors threw stones at the animals or were otherwise rude... New playgrounds have been created. Our 4-legged friends can also be taken along. For their park entrance fee of 2.00 euros, I would personally expect a few water bowls and perhaps a small green area for their business. Unfortunately, despite the renovation, the park seems a bit run down or carelessly laid out in some places. Adrenaline junkies won't really get their money's worth here. The entrance fee for people over 1.40m tall is 32.50 euros, plus another 5.00 euros for the parking lot. All in all, the price-performance ratio is not balanced. Addendum Halloween 2024: It started at the entrance with a terribly unfriendly cashier... Then “Bavaria’s biggest Halloween event”?! - Probably not! There were supposed to be five horror mazes and several scare zones from 7 p.m., these were also signposted. However, in these scare zones there were, if at all, two “scaremers” who preferred to talk to each other rather than cause fear and terror. Of the five mazes, one opened much later because the scarers only arrived 15 minutes later with backpacks and shopping bags. A maze, that labyrinth (which would have had the most potential), was not occupied at all. There were no advertised drinks or snacks at all and the decoration consisted mainly of pumpkins distributed at random. The most frightening thing that day was the really run-down and dirty toilets. All in all, I have experienced far better Halloween events in the region with better scarers (both in terms of presentation and costumes), but for €44 it was rather disappointing.

There's something for every age! You'll definitely have fun! We visited the amusement park during Helloween time, you have to say the team puts a lot of effort into creating a cool atmosphere!

I base my rating on the employment relationship and would prefer to give 0 stars. I started working there in mid-August and didn't get an employment contract before starting work, but I thought, hey, okay, then probably on the first day of work, but unfortunately I discovered that after a week there was still no employment contract and that was too uncertain for me. I also felt incredibly uncomfortable there and not in good hands at all! The managers apparently have no idea about anything and there are mainly other employees there who don't speak German or speak it very poorly. The employment relationship ended 1 month after it began because I was sick. I still haven't gotten an employment contract and therefore have terrible financial problems! They ignore you if you need the employment certificate or other documents that are required, regardless of whether I request it or the agency, health insurance company, etc. To date nothing has been processed. Guys, I advise you to start there because you will only be taken for a ride! I can say that was the worst thing that could have happened to me

Gastronomy becomes a sociable anchor under all expectations. Prices way too high, portions way too small. In terms of taste, it's bottom drawer - unseasoned and cold!!!!

It was a nice day with the kids, but... Attractions outdated and not taken care of: The paint or even the wood on the children's carousel has chipped off! Observation tower overgrown with ivy surrounded by construction site rubbish, Jump boats - previously 5 beautiful ones, now 2 poorly painted ones, 1 of which is broken Dino tent partially not working (lamps failed, long neck used to bend down and now stands dark in the tent sky) Horror House: Some lighting failed, figures ran out of air (half heads where there was no air) Food gets cold after a few minutes and the worst: The toilets stink and there are about 10 cm of urine stone in almost every one! Just disgusting! Not worth a cent more! Sorry about the friendly and helpful staff!

Beautiful amusement park, something for everyone. We got tickets “cheaply” through monstertickets.de. Instead of around 170, only 130. Since we were there out of season, the park didn't open until 12:00 p.m. However, it was moderately attended and there were almost no waiting times at the rides. However, there are no hypercoasters here.

We had a great day with a 3 year old child. Yes, it's true, the park is getting old but it still has charm. Compared to other theme parks, the price-performance ratio seems high, but I don't think the park could be maintained any other way. I think it's nice to still have this amusement park relatively close by and will definitely go again next year.

In conjunction with an overnight stay at the Seaside Resort, we stayed in the Geiselwind leisure area on 2 days during “Halloween time”. Unfortunately, our last visit was a few years ago, when the park was still run by the previous owner. We've always liked the park, even though a lot of things here seemed like a mess and like a fair. Mr. Mölter took this on board and addressed many areas and steered the park in that direction. We are excited to see how the Geiselwind leisure area will develop in the future. A big step has been taken here together with the Seaside Resort.

Mega beautiful and sweet park for young and old

A great park with many attractions. However, a bit outdated. Some drinks machines didn't work. In general, the park needs a new coat of paint. It has a high potential to be great.

Interesting, new and tried and tested in equal measure. Visit on the weekend with 1 young person (17 years old). The most popular were Curse of the Kraken, Eye of the Dragon and of course Merlin. Cobra coasters and pirate spinners are not to be underestimated. Even if it's small and inconspicuous at first glance, it still leaves you feeling sick. At the Pirate River you get wet, but you walk. Water smells a bit brackish and should be replaced. The absolute highlight is MERLIN. Since only 2 people fit in, there's always a wait. But it's worth it because this attraction is rarely found in other parks. Better than all Freefall Towers! It's nice that there are some attractions and scary houses in the park for those accompanying you who can't/don't want to go on the crazy rides. Park but overall more geared toward families. You won't find any youth groups looking for an adrenaline rush. Price-performance (including food and drink) is completely ok. Park is a bit old (compared to others). Toilets, yes. Could also be included in the renovation plan. Perhaps the park is harder to maintain because it is in the middle of a forest. It's idyllic, but the ravages of time are definitely more intense due to the leaves and moisture. Queue times in autumn are moderate. Parking is no problem and ok at 5 euros/day. All in all, a successful trip for us.

It's crazy that they're still using the old stuff there. You can tell that the park is run by showmen. Many rides are discarded fairground stalls. Only the children's area at the second entrance is well done. Some of the animals are housed in sadly small enclosures. But the worst thing is the seal show, the poor animals live in a trailer and swim in a small above-ground pool. This should be abolished urgently. Toilets are actually everywhere, but they urgently need to be modernized and kept clean. In the end, the price, 2 adults and 2 children over 1 meter is 160 €. You can also go to a decent amusement park for this.

It's wonderful to pay once and drive until you drop. This is fantastic. Eating extra but also good, worth it as the food is also tasty. But why don't I give it 5 stars if it's so great? Because of a few deals that are too hard and why I saw today that a small child had an ear bleed. It's great, they should add some kind of padding to the head area to avoid injuries, because my family had quite a headache afterwards.

I was there specifically for the Halloween event on Friday, October 11th. in the park. Regarding Oni, unfortunately you cannot see when the selected days are, which is probably a matter of luck or they are just individual days around Halloween itself. With the exception of the Curse of Ramses Maze, all of the Mazes were so disappointing that I have never seen them anywhere else have. The curse of Ramses was at least familiar and most frightening. The horror houses are fun houses in the park that are quickly redecorated from daytime to Halloween evening and in some cases there are only 2 - 3 scarers. Maybe that varies depending on the day. There wasn't a DJ there at 7 p.m. that evening and I didn't see any Halloween snacks like pumpkin soup or anything similar, but I've never seen a Halloween event so empty. At no maze did anyone even line up in front of you. My review is solely dedicated to the Halloween event because Geiselwind is a family park and the rides don't meet my needs. The biggest roller coaster Pirates of the Kraken that I would have liked to ride only ran for an hour during the day and not in the dark due to maintenance work. (so there was no waiting there in the dark) Real Halloween fans won't get their money's worth at this event, as I experienced it that evening.

We were there during the fall/Halloween season. Everything was very nicely decorated. Unfortunately, some parts of the park look a bit neglected/run down (especially the old areas). The staff in the catering areas were very unfriendly, even though there wasn't much going on and they weren't stressed. €5 for parking is completely excessive and unnecessary given the entry prices.

A beautiful amusement park for young and old. You can feel that a lot of work has been put into it and the park has changed significantly since the 2000s! There is something for everyone. Regardless of whether it is supposed to rotate, a loop is required, it is a classic bumper car or a more unusual "walk through" for an amusement park, water also plays a role in some attractions and there is also something to swing on....in Basically everything your heart desires. There is a wide selection of different food and drinks. The prices are okay for a theme park. We found it very positive that there were toilets on virtually every corner. And the park also has a lot of beautifully themed playgrounds, which makes children's hearts beat faster. There is also plenty of seating for a short break. The shows vary greatly in terms of level. For us, the soap bubble show and especially the fire show were clearly worth highlighting! A very nice experience! ....we visited the park for the Halloween special and got our money's worth! ..the park was beautifully decorated, the music accompanied the ambience and the live frighteners did their job very well. It's great that this only happens in limited zones/areas. Which gives families with children an option not to expose the children to this. Criticisms for us were that not all attractions were open immediately after the park opened, that on Friday October 18th. Unfortunately the attractions were closed much earlier than stated. (Basically understandable if the number of visitors is only small. But information with a note on the attraction would have been nice and the laser show could have been carried out earlier. So we had to wait almost an hour for this :( ) and that one of the main attractions - The boomerang was not open all the time, but paused for 1.5 hours every now and then. All in all, we had a very nice weekend and will definitely come back with the children :)

The best amusement park in Franconia. The attractions are really diverse and there is something for everyone. A lot has happened since the new owner took over the park. The different areas come into their own well. The shows are classy and thrilling. The criticism is that the music at the children's disco was a bit loud for the little ones, even as an adult I found the volume annoying. But the mood was great! Sometimes the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. But Geiselwind is always worth a visit and I strongly believe that the criticism points are still being worked on.

Nice and quiet during the week... you can get to the attractions very quickly

Unfortunately, some animals have to live between loud roller coasters and in small enclosures. In addition to the expensive entrance fees, there is also a €5 parking fee. The cleanliness of the various toilets is a disaster. 2 beers (glass bottle) and 1 small water for 13€ is definitely not cheap. Overall, the amusement park is getting old and is in dire need of renovation!

We were there for the Halloween event, beautifully decorated park, great extra shows especially the fire show. Since the change of ownership, the park has become more and more beautiful. Always happy ❤️

It had been a long time since the last time. The park still has many older rides, but is also investing in new areas and attractions. Of course, it can't keep up with the "big ones". But it still has affordable prices, is not overcrowded and you can quickly go a second time. My conclusion, If you're looking for a bit of a thrill and don't need the latest and fastest thing, you can have a good time here and relax in between relaxing and 🎃 Halloween 🎃 there's also something on offer 👍

Well suited for a day with older children and teenagers. Most roller coasters are safe to ride for ages 6 and 8. Toilets are really bad. Dirty, smells, probably not cleaned regularly. That was a big minus point. Food and drink are priced accordingly for a park. For 4 adults and 2 children we quickly reached over 50 euros for currywurst and fries. Some stores cost extra, such as VR Glasses Experience. Petting zoo and feeding the animals was one of the highlights. All very well done in one day. Parking directly in front of the entrance for a 5 euro parking ticket. Was moderately busy for the fall holidays and weekends. Crowd was pleasant.

Great for elementary school children. Lots of rides for this age group. But also some attractions for the adrenaline rush and a few for the little ones. Some fairly new subject areas. Different food areas (pizza, buger, Asian etc.) Lots of seating everywhere. 4D cinema, animals and other areas round off the offer.

I had a fantastic day at Geiselwind theme park! The park offers an excellent mix of exciting rides and family-friendly attractions. I was particularly impressed by the variety of roller coasters - from exciting high-speed rides to gentler options for the little ones. The entire complex is well-kept and inviting, with beautiful green areas for relaxation. The staff are friendly and helpful, which contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. The gastronomy offers a good selection of dishes with something for every taste. A highlight was the animal and animal performance, which was not only entertaining but also educational. I can recommend the Geiselwind amusement park to anyone who wants to spend a varied and entertaining day with the family. I will definitely come back!

Were very disappointed with Halloween 🎃. There were no scare areas and the Pirate Maze was completely devoid of human scarers. Another maze was just 2 monsters that were supposed to shock you. Since Halloween was heavily advertised and we saw a lot of different things, it was unfortunately a flop for us.

I've been visiting the park since I was a child. Now with your own offspring. A lot has changed over time, but we still enjoy coming.

Unfortunately, the toilets weren't very clean and the sinks didn't work.

A great park in the middle of the forest. Not too big, but all areas are used to great effect! For everyone from 0-99 years ❤️ We had a really nice day and each of us got our money's worth 🥰🥰

Nice park with some unique attractions. Since it was Halloween the rides were decked out with scare actors which was very entertaining.

In general, the park is well suited for children. There are animals and attractions for the little ones, including playgrounds, on every corner BUT! The attractions are getting a bit old. Some people even hit their head on the bar so that it hurts. In the indoor playground, half of the ropes from the “Spider Tower” have broken, which is extremely dangerous. The employees have an underground mood. The food was warmed up 10 times beforehand. Oh don't forget to put paprika on the fries instead of salt? I couldn't eat it, the currywurst, the kebab, the little one's nuggets. Really, I don't have any high expectations (I even eat ravioli at festivals, FOR BREAKFAST just a comparison) Why has an abandoned ride been sitting in the middle of the park for years? Tear this thing down because there are a number of attractions that only partially work. Why is nothing being maintained? Why isn't it being cleaned? Sanitary facilities are really catastrophically dirty. Where is the boss???? With the Churos I'm told there's no cinnamon and no sugar? HOWEEEEEE? There's one thing you can forget to order... How do both work? QUALITY AND PRICES ABSOLUTELY DO NOT MATCH!
