It's unacceptable that restaurant guests have to wait an hour while takeout and drive-thru are given priority. I feel very sorry for the staff.

Well very crowded and very dirty

Food was pretty good, lots of choice compared to what we are used to in the Netherlands.

Nice McDonald's, lots of ordering kiosks, but unfortunately, I can't find many tables to eat there. But it's still very nicely done.

It was a rather subpar McDonald's. Also, the coffee machine was broken, and apparently they only had one. Cleanliness was rather subpar. As is unfortunately often the case.

A very strong franchisee. Despite the incredible crowds, everyone remains relaxed, friendly, and professional. The food is typical McDonald's, but I've seen a branch run much worse... and honestly, rarely better. Keep it up 💪

Complained about cold food, but the employee was unfriendly and unsympathetic. The wrap was ice cold, as was the scrambled egg, and only half filled. Inedible. Also, the place was very dirty. Not recommended.

Fries were lukewarm, bad for disabled people with stairs

I stopped by for breakfast while passing through. The staff were friendly and the food was good. Well, by McDonald's standards, that's about right. Nobody goes there for a healthy, balanced meal. Unfortunately, my drink was swapped, but it wasn't a big deal. :)

I'm still sick from the chicken nuggets. Because of the nausea, I couldn't even eat the fries. In my opinion, this is a case for the health department; they need to be inspected urgently. The hygiene conditions in the restrooms were also abysmal. At no other rest stop I've ever visited were the sanitary facilities as disgusting as they were here.

Just like any other McDonald's. The selection is a bit different compared to the Netherlands, but we had a nice stop on our way through.

Grumpy old cashier, food was fine. Nice and hot and served quickly.

It's a shame that breakfast is only served until 10:30 a.m. I think it's way too early for burgers and fries to start at 10:30 a.m.! So only one star, because I'm offended 😅

They messed up the whole order and we had to wait forever

Fast service and nice dining areas. Close to the highway. The restaurant area is well-maintained. Plenty of parking (also for campers). The restrooms (in the evenings) are definitely not clean anymore.

We've been here several times now, and we're always impressed by how quickly everything runs. That's why I'd like to give it 5 stars. I hope it stays this way in the future. Ordered in advance via the app, arrived, paid, received everything as requested, and delivered to my location. I'm really completely satisfied. The location is also very good, and there's always parking.

Some of the food had little to no sauce, was cold, and the fries were salty. Everything was very dirty. The tables hadn't seen a cleaning cloth in a while. Not recommended!

Good McDonald's with clean restrooms

Great McDonald's for when you're on the go. The restrooms are really dirty, though. The food was quick and excellent.

We actually wanted takeout – but we got a tray, as if we'd spontaneously decided to camp out at McDonald's. Instead of "To Go," we got "To Stay Against Your Will." Maybe this was part of a new escape room concept? Napkins? None. Straws? Probably on a trip around the world. I slurped my Coke straight from the cup like a rampaging raccoon. Stylish? No. Effective? Not even that. The burgers? A complete architectural disaster. At the first bite, the patty fled to the left, the bread to the right, and the cheese simply vanished into thin air. I think I ended up carrying more burgers than I ate. The only bright spot: the onion. It was strong, it stayed, it held everything together – emotionally and physically. I would have loved to hug it. Unfortunately, I didn't have a napkin to wipe my hands with beforehand. The bottom line: If you want to experience what it feels like when even the burger wants to flee, you should definitely go.

The service was excellent and fast. I had barely ordered and my order arrived within minutes. The food was delicious, the service was good and the staff were very friendly.

Very good for McDonald's. At least the tables are cleaned here and the waiting time is short, even when the place is full. They try to keep the customers satisfied. Restrooms are super clean and easy to reach.

Good location. Good Play area for kids.

Update June 2025: Unfortunately, there are hardly any vegetarian dishes left, such as vegetarian wraps. We often stop at this McDonald's because it's on the way from the Geiselwind truck stop. Last year, like many others, this McDonald's went "digital," meaning you have to place your order via the terminals/app. With four or five terminals and the often huge crowds, this can still lead to waiting times. The food was typical McDonald's, but the "ambiance" suffered somewhat due to the loss of the McCafe. The restrooms are clean, which is quite an achievement considering the number of visitors! You can also sit outside, but you're often bothered by wasps.

On the long drive, after filling up with gas, we would have had something to eat, but unfortunately, or fortunately, we had already gone to the restroom. Disgusting! Two service carts were already completely full outside the entrance, and the same was true inside! There was toilet paper on the floor in front of the restrooms, and the lids inside were broken, posing a risk of injury. After washing our hands thoroughly (which was just about manageable), we tried not to touch anything else and left the restaurant thirsty and hungry. A check by the public order office would be appropriate! 0 stars

Food... McDonald's, after all. The same everywhere, but artificial. Service was okay; they brought your order, but not exactly enthusiastically. The atmosphere, however, was terrible: the restrooms were dirty, the floors were oozing, the toilet paper was gone or the sponge was in a puddle, and the dining area was incredibly loud with the TV, beeping, and the thundering service carts. The journey was impossible to relax. Next time, I'd head for the nearby Burger King.

A scream, the top is closed, and the beeping in 20 different tones is so terribly annoying... Even though the coffee comes from a portafilter machine and the staff is nice, I won't be coming back. I wanted to rest and not fall asleep during the ride.

After a long wait, the cold food arrived. Despite table service, we were told that the sugar we ordered for our coffee was self-service and we had to get it ourselves from the lower floor. The delivery of our order was incomplete and slow. The restaurant and the tables weren't particularly clean. Overall, a not a good experience.

Burgers are good, the nuggets and Coke are great too.

I was ripped off for money and food. I ordered a Big Mac meal at the drive-thru and was completely ripped off for my change. After repeatedly speaking politely, there was no response. Only when I knocked on the closed window in front of me was I told in broken German, "I don't understand anything," and the window closed again. After a loud "hey," the shift supervisor responded and came to the window. I was given change for €15, even though I had paid €20. Since I'd been sitting in my car all day, I didn't feel like arguing further and drove off. Back on the highway, I realized I'd only received a medium meal, even though I'd ordered and paid for a large one. Plus the €5 I'd already been ripped off for. I eat at McDonald's often, but something like this has never happened to me. From now on, I'll only be eating at Burger King in Geiselwind.

Clean, the food is prepared very quickly. Everything is great 👍🏼

I rarely write reviews but when I had to cough heavily in the restaurant today, a very nice employee came and brought me a water straight away, something that only very few people would do

Ordered McNuggets and a large fries, with table service. What went wrong? No fries. Then you go to the counter and ask the first employee for the fries. Failed, you run to the broom closet. You speak to the second employee, but you don't understand the answer. It wasn't until you got to the third employee, and after about 10 minutes, that you finally got the fries.

Toilets OK. Coffee, cappuccino and latte macchiato absolutely inedible. Nothing fit at all.

Unfortunately not good. I ordered a mcrib that was completely raw. I pointed this out to the staff and got a new one straight away without any problems.

We stopped here briefly after the gas stop and ate cheeseburgers and something to drink. So far ok, but not really good either.

It used to be better when coffee was cold and the sugar we ordered was completely missing You will no longer be greeted if you stop by for a coffee early in the morning, completely tired.

It was busy but the cup sizes were swapped if the contents were different.

Takeaway food was totally okay and usual. There was nothing to complain about here. Everything we ordered was there too. Toilets were for a rest stop a.d. Highway clean. Tesla Charger around the corner and within walking distance. Fit for us.

While we were charging our electric car, we ate fries here; my son really enjoyed them.

All tables dirty. Worst of all they were toilets. The food was inedible, as if the chicken burger had been reheated for the third time. Totally hard flesh and gray spots. The fries were raw. We were so hungry, but it would have been better if we hadn't eaten any of it. We felt so bad with stomach pains. Actually the health department should close this shop!!!

I never review a mcdonalds. Usually just buy coffee. But this one was very good. Ourstanding service, super helpful women working there. They actually customized an egg product so much that i could enjoy some. Due too my restrictions. And they did it with a smile. Also very clean, quiet, nice location.

In our take-away order I ordered the cheese off of my burger, it even said on the label, but it still had cheese on it! And the muffin I ordered was completely missing ☹️ How can you have 2 errors in 4 articles? And this at 9 a.m. when nothing is going on!

Service is top, our food was brought to us on the upper floor. It tasted very good. Unfortunately it was a bit dirty, which is of course understandable given the number of visitors. I can still recommend it!

Super attentive and, as always, a very good opportunity for a break near the A3 when passing through - we found that our cappuccino was cold, but it was replaced promptly and in a very friendly manner. Afterwards, as always, very successful. Thank you

Worst toilet ever at McDonalds.

Typical McDonalds quality. I don't think much needs to be explained here. Unfortunately service was rather annoying. We had orders brought to the table. That was already too much. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Tables dirty, leftover food under the tables, smell of toilet in the entrance area.

After 35 minutes still no food on the table! Service is underground.

I waited a very long time. I ordered through the app, after some time the app said that my order had already been delivered, although no one brought anything.

Went to drive through, had to wait about 5mins for someone to say something on the kiosk. A younger lady took our order, when we asked if she speaks English she said yes yet kept talking to us in German, was very rude and unpleasant, kept shouting at us saying she can't hear us, when obviously she just didn't understand anything in English, when she asked what we want for a drink I kept saying water and she kept asking what we want for a drink more annoyed each time. Then got to the window and apart from the burgers they got the whole order wrong too. Quiet tricky to get to place from motorway as well, as soon as you come off there are no sings whatsoever of where to go. Yeah do not stop here on your journey

We ordered 2x nuggets with sweet and sour sauce and unfortunately received 5 mayos. Of course the children were happy. Until the next Mc.

Waiting time far too long. Almost 10 minutes

McDonald's is simply not what it used to be, the burgers are getting smaller and more expensive, the cheeseburger was lukewarm and almost impossible to eat. Somehow it became more and more like rubber in the mouth Unfortunately, Big Mäc was even better, everything was carelessly slapped together and put in the cardboard box McDonald's won't see us as quickly anymore, so you can easily do without it

I went to McDonalds for breakfast 2 or 3 times last week. The Latte Machiato always tasted excellent. The duo was available for a reasonable price. HOT DRINK WITH breakfast burger. The bacon and eggs combination is delicious and well prepared. The day starts well at McDonalds.

Absolutely useless with the new opening times, every day from 7am is just a joke. Zero stars are useless.

I received NO. 13 which was not displayed on the screen (the order on the monitor was No. 18). When it turned out, they refused to return cold food that had been waiting on the counter for 15 minutes, telling me that it was my number. Many people were standing in the queue and saw them calling number 18 (no one came forward because it turned out that there was an error and I ordered number 13) and I was standing with the receipt with number 13. As I wrote, they called number 18 6 times, which turned out to be number 13 but they did not grant a refund. Is it possible to call number 18 again in 15 minutes and then pretend that nothing happened?

If it says the drive in opens at 7, then it should open at 7 and you shouldn't still have to wait at 7:10! And then when it's open, you're skillfully ignored until you angrily decide to go somewhere else.

It's been a long time since I've had such bad McDonald's food. The burgers were just slapped together. The meat was so dry that it was definitely way past its time.

It just got expensive. If it doesn't absolutely have to be, it's better to do something else.

Access from the parking lot to the restaurant if you have walking difficulties - very poor. A volume that is almost unbearable

Staff very friendly!, toilets not so good

Fast food restaurant which unfortunately doesn't have all the products on the menu. Service quick and good. Unfortunately, all the tablet carts were completely overcrowded and there was nowhere to tidy up or put down your tablet.

Very dirty. There were leftover food everywhere on the floor and tables and the tray shelf hadn't been emptied for a long time. The burgers were cold and one had so much sauce that it just dripped and was soggy after 2 minutes.

There was a lot going on last night. And then they had a system failure, so it was very chaotic. But the staff tried to get the situation under control.

This McDonald's has gone way down! Dirty toilets and tables. Unfriendly staff and the food came to the table cold. Complaint was not accepted. If we go on holiday to the north again, we will definitely not take a break there.

Had breakfast there. It's very expensive and you won't get full. We had imagined something different.
