I wasn't served at Berger's several times and left after about 15 minutes each time... So, I can't comment on the food, and I don't want to comment on the "service."

Super friendly staff. Good food at very fair prices. With a bit of luck, you'll have a beautiful view of Bergedorf Harbor. Reservations are recommended before visiting.

We were here with our daughters (6 and 8 years old) about three weeks ago. Very friendly staff, great prices, and fantastic food. The kids' meals were truly prepared with lots of love and were actually much too reasonably priced for their price. Our meals were also very tasty and reasonably priced. If we're ever in Hamburg again, we'd love to come back :)

The store is simply top-notch; the quality is good, the service is great, and the ambiance is great, and the price is also OK.

We can really recommend Bergers. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is always friendly. You get the feeling they enjoy their job. The food tastes excellent and you could spend long evenings there. However, since it is always very busy, you have to expect a higher volume. We can't say anything negative, so we definitely recommend it!

Without a reservation it will be difficult, the reason? Very friendly service and well prepared food. We were offered a place in the well-protected outdoor area, the indoor area was full. There we ordered currywurst and farmer's breakfast. Both dishes, one might think, are quite simple. Not so at Berger's, both dishes were well prepared and tasted excellent. Plus very friendly service, great. We haven't been here for a while, that's about to change. Also great value for money!

Great food, requests for changes are no problem. Staff very friendly. Tables with a view of the Serrahn are the most beautiful. In my opinion, the tables downstairs are a bit too close together...at least the people sitting next to you can always hear the conversations, which I find very unpleasant. Definitely good value for money.

A very nice restaurant with "hamburger" service... Direct but not outrageous... The food was excellent, sufficient and served very quickly. Surprisingly fast. The English-style rump steak was spot-on and extremely tender. You'll be happy to come back there.

Yesterday we went there for dinner with 4 girls. Very attentive, friendly and competent service. The food was very fine and tasty. The cod fillet is highly recommended. Very delicate in taste and finely prepared. Likewise the brownie on the dessert plate. Price-performance ratio great. All in all it was a great evening! We'd love to come back. Nice location for breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately only by advance order as it is always packed. Tables too small for 2 people!! Not very warm in the lower guest area, but upstairs it is much more comfortable.

Have been there a few times and it's a nice atmosphere, cozy, with a view of the water. Good service & delicious cakes, dishes & drinks, where effort is made for the guest. I can only recommend it.

We had a mixed experience at your restaurant. The portions were large and the food overall was very tasty. What is particularly positive is that most of the dishes were very tender - apart from the steak, which was a bit tough. The service was mostly friendly and attentive. Our waitress was super nice, and the bartender also made a great impression. Unfortunately, however, there was an unpleasant situation: an employee made kissing noises towards my wife as she touched up her lip gloss. I only found out about this later, but this behavior is not professional and spoiled the overall impression. We hope that such incidents are avoided in the future as the rest of the experience was really positive.

Our Christmas party was a real success! Service was courteous and in a good mood despite the high level of stress. The ambience, very cozy, beautiful heavy wooden tables with comfortable upholstered chairs. And then there’s the super delicious food. None of our troops had anything to complain about! Had pike perch fillet with rosemary potatoes. Delicious!!! Lots of it, beautifully presented. Served with love!!! With a few bones, but with fish you should expect that. Overall great!!! I'll be back.

I spontaneously had breakfast with my wife, Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. and there were still a few places available. That speaks for itself. The food was delicious, the selection was pleasant, not too much and there was something for everyone. Our waiter was in a really good mood, we would love to come back. Everything was reasonable in terms of price, €40 for 2 people and we were super full.

The tarte flambée with goat cheese was perfect. The sauce for the Jägerschnitzel was too little and too runny.

I visited this place this morning and I have to say that the scrambled eggs were the best I ever had in a breakfast shop and the blonde cute waiter was super kind always smiling and a good professional.

Good location, nice service. It's nice that this location exists in Bergedorf, with the few restaurants... The food was rather disappointing. When it came to tagliatelle prawns with truffles, the pasta was more than overcooked. Unfortunately there is no trace of truffles. The shrimp were nice and big, tender and tasty. The freshly squeezed orange juice tasted like it came from the supermarket. Too bad.

Discovered by chance while walking through the city. The ambience is great, the service was friendly and the food was very tasty. So we were there for dinner the remaining 3 days.

Went there for breakfast on Monday morning. Reservation worked smoothly. Really a nice little restaurant with a cozy spot on the terrace when the weather is nice ☀️😎 Seating inside, below and above, the restaurant is attractively decorated. Very friendly service. It was a summer festival with the Swinging Hamburg marching band and other performances. Unfortunately, a large restaurant there is empty, which was disappointing.

I hadn't been there for a while and was unfortunately disappointed on my last visit. Don't know what happened, everything was always good on previous visits. This time I was very annoyed. Just the greeting or seating didn't work at all. You should always keep in mind that guests who come from the catering industry can also be guests. Unfortunately, breakfast was also lacking. It used to be great, what a shame!

Very flexible boss. 5 adults and 1 child couldn't put together 2 tables outside because it would supposedly be too narrow. It would have been possible inside at 30 degrees. When we left, the tables were pulled apart... then it was even tighter. Thumbs up. Apparently you don't have to rely on 5 adults plus a child. Too bad. The food tasted great last time and the location is really great. So I won't go there anymore.

Actually a good shop. Unfortunately, the kitchen and the service often seem overwhelmed when the store is a little fuller.

Everything was perfect for a lovely (wedding anniversary) evening for two. Friendly welcome - the best table on the terrace is currently free (even at 7 p.m.!). Nice service and the food was simply GREAT!

This was our first time here and we want to come back. The food was delicious, it couldn't be better. The service was extremely friendly, we wanted a table by the window because of the view, but it was reserved. Wasn't a problem at all. And very happy, that was fun. Is a recommendation.

It was very nice and worth another visit

We had pre-booked a table for 8 people on the upper floor. The occasion was a 60th birthday, which I mentioned when making the reservation. However, they wanted to place us on the lower floor. It's very hectic and restless there. The waiter tried very hard to seat us. However, the tables were unclean and there were cutlery on the floor. A small flower in the vase would have been a small gift from the house on this occasion, or something else. The food was averagely good and the service was attentive and relatively quick.

Apart from the fact that you can really sit on the terrace in summer, the food is just very, very good. Quality and taste are important here. From now on my absolute favorite food in Bergedorf.

I ordered a large cocktail during happy hour. Was very very disappointing. I got a large glass of pineapple juice with cream and tasted 0 cl of the supposed 6cl of alcohol rum. Impudence!!! And pure rip-off, sorry but unfortunately that's how it is. The waitress told me either I run to the bank and get 8.50 or I pay 10 by card. In the end I paid 10 euros for it. I've been in this job for a long time myself and you can even taste something with drinks containing cream. Even if it's just flavor. In that case it was NOTHING A different answer would have come from trained professional staff. It's really a shame.

A very nice restaurant. The food was very good and tasty. Our waiter Fabio was attentive and very concerned about our well-being. This was definitely not our last visit to this restaurant.

I'm slowly becoming a repeat offender, whether alone or in a group or even just with two people. It's always a treat to come here. The service is warm and very pleasant. Special requests are responded to very well. The food was great every time. It doesn’t matter which dish you choose from the menu. Price/performance is perfect for me and is quite okay. Four of us were here during the Bergedorf town festival. Once the grill plate for two, once schnitzel and once chicken in teriyaki sauce. And despite the large crowds, the service staff remained friendly and nice, so that we could all eat the delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. We were 100% satisfied.

Beautiful place and a good meal. What stood out: normal fried potatoes with vegetables and meat. So not pre-processed from the factory. Big plus for the cook

Insider tip for non-hamburgers. Very relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff and the food was really great. My choice was the roast beef with fried potatoes and salad. Delicious.

We ate at Bergers today. I had a bruschetta and my friend had the beef burger.!! I read the menu and ordered. Unfortunately, I didn't read the text of the burger completely and it came with a strip of bacon. My friend did I took a bite and said the burger tasted strange, then I looked closely and noticed the bacon. My friend was really pissed off and I mean really pissed off. The waiter just said sorry brother, I thought if you drink beer you also eat pork. That means He was totally aware of what we had and had on our plate Still, he made no move to point it out to us. Once he took a bite... Surely it was our fault because we ordered wrong, but nothing was done to get the mood under control! A second employee came to take care of the situation To bring control because my friend got really (angry). I explained to the other person what was going on because I think paying €16.90 for a meal that I almost didn't touch was extremely crazy! I was then explained that it wasn't their job to ensure ethical ancestry categorize and it's our own fault and we have to pay for the burger in full and he'll call the police straight away if my friend doesn't calm down. WOW! We weren't offered anything I think it would have cost you a smile to say ok the limo is on the house or We'll make the burger again or a coffee or something if we've already paid for it in full!!! No response!!!! No reaction from either of them! I told the cellar I wanted to pay immediately and leave to slow down the situation. The bill was 32.30 I gave him 40 and he actually asked how much I wanted back!!??? So of course I said all the rest, you don't expect a tip from me now!! Then he said he didn't have 20 cents and rummaged around forever his wallet until I finally got my change. I have been working in the catering industry for years and would never treat a guest like that and leave them to eat!! Even if they ordered something wrong, you always try to please them somehow. Of course I'm sorry that my friend caused so much trouble. But I can also understand him, I was super pissed too!! The customer is definitely not a king here!!! Thank you very much. Unfortunately you won't get a photo from us today!!!

We had dinner here. There was a delicious schnitzel with a side salad and fries. The aioli served with bread beforehand was amazing. The service lady was very, very friendly and accommodating. The ambience was cozy and inviting and the view of the water topped it off. A clear recommendation

The restaurant is located right in the heart of Bergedorf and offers delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I like to enjoy a few evenings here with friends or pop in for a delicious cocktail every now and then. 😉 Otherwise, breakfast or brunch on Sunday is also highly recommended. 👌💯😋

Sometimes you stumble into happiness. Same here! A bit inconspicuous from the outside, the inside is both upstairs (nice view) and downstairs with the terrace outside. The dishes all sound very tempting and are very good value for money. The staff is friendly, helpful and very attentive. We had a great team evening, thank you!

I had reserved a table for yesterday, May 11, 2024 because we had visitors from abroad. Since it was our first time at Bergers, we were very excited to see what awaited us. What really struck us was the harmonious way the staff interacted with one another. The food was delicious and very lovingly prepared. The service was friendly and very accommodating. In short, a perfect restaurant visit, we would love to come back.

It was all very good! We had burgers, roast beef and tarte flambée! Special mention should be made of the dessert plate, which was a very successful end to the meal!

The Bergers is always worth a visit. I've been there several times for breakfast or for brunch on Sundays. Everything was delicious, everything was great. Everything was great in the evening too.
