Great place for a bite and some beer right on the river! The flammkuchen was very good, and our server Vivian was super nice and helpful, and gave some great recommendations for our drinks since we’ve never had Apfelwein before.

Not a place I recommend. Extremely rude people. No attention to the customer, impolite, churlish, discourteous, unmannerly.

I actually gave it three stars. After I was accused of defamation regarding the review, there is now only one. Impudence!

The service was miserable. The waiters prefer to talk to each other instead of doing their job.

They delete reviews along with Google!!! Freedom of speech? They didn't hear! This establishment was 3.9* now 4.5) So you can pay Google and remove bad reviews? Obviously yes. Despite my appeal to Google, they still deleted the bad reviews... I am contacting the director of the establishment! - Improve the quality of service, the quality of food, and don’t bother removing bad reviews!

Located directly on the Mainkai with nice service and delicious local food at prices that are okay for Frankfurt. The only drawback: even though you are a guest, you pay €1 to use the toilet.

The Frankfurt inn. Well, I don't normally do reviews but this place is really, really bad. It started with an excuse that you shouldn't sit in certain places because they already wanted to "close" that row or the tables. When we moved around, other guests came and were allowed to sit there and there was nothing to indicate that it was reserved. So it's very strange. We then ordered a steak and a cheeseburger. No one asked what cooking level the steak should have and the appropriate cutlery was not provided. Cutting a steak with a butter knife? At 40 euros for a steak, I expect a little more attention! Then the food came, steak very poorly prepared, the outside edges very tough, raw through and in the middle but not pink? None yet Another steak house may have experienced poor meat quality? (So ​​the kitchen decides what level of cooking your steak is) The cheeseburger was terribly bad. The patty was a slightly unpleasant smelling piece of meat that had probably been frozen for a long time. Through very tough. Burger bread - old. The lettuce that was on the burger was limp and old. The entire burger was just plain old. It was really an imposition! The fried potatoes tasted so much like old frying fat and not at all like potatoes anymore. After we gave it back - the waiter said that the kitchen said their food is always like that. So no insight, bad service and very bad cuisine. Tip to the owner. Please try a steak and a cheeseburger outside your local restaurant and compare the quality. Never again thank you! And to all tourists, there are better shops in Frankfurt in this price range.

I had the Argentine rump steak and was not asked what cooking point my steak should have, according to the cellar's later statement: The kitchen only prepares the meat to one cooking point. The steak was a complete disappointment, overcooked, tasteless, tough and dry. There was no pepper and no salt. Did you have to cut the steak with a butter knife? For a €40 steak, you should expect these standards. I can only advise everyone not to eat steak there. It's better to go to a real steakhouse where you can decide for yourself what cooking point you want your steak to be. Won't eat there anymore. The waiter blamed the kitchen and the other waitress who supposedly forgot to bring me a steak knife. Well, it doesn’t matter. Finally, all I can say is: it was very disappointing.

Attention, the bad reviews have been deleted! A year ago we visited this restaurant with my friend and left a comment on Google. Now we get a threat from the owner via Google that our comment is supposedly defamatory was deleted. According to our observation, the restaurant's rating increased from around 3.8 to 4.4. Here I am signing up to owner: You should be ashamed of yourself for dealing with such fake politics instead of trying to provide better service!

Yesterday we spontaneously went to eat schnitzel and were really satisfied. Unfortunately no side salad included with the main course, but a large children's schnitzel.😆

The Frankfurt inn on the banks of the Main combines rustic charm with modern flair. Sitting on the outdoor terrace at lunchtime on a sunny day like today is simply wonderful. The first beer was served to us within a minute of sitting down and ordering - that's what I call quick service! The waiter was always on the move and made sure that all guests were satisfied. This is true customer service. The homemade potato salad with breaded fish was okay and the portion was plentiful. The tasty Binding beer represents tradition and rounds off the experience perfectly. Top service and good food – thank you!

I have to revise my rating downwards after a year. The food is just OK and too expensive for the quality. A beer/shandy of 0.5 for €6.50 is overpriced. The service staff is still good.

OMG Beef was amazingly tasty, so soft and delicious, Dorada fish also soft and well done! And waitresses... so open and good vibes :) When we will be here again, in Frankfurt, we will be back here :)

Great spot , by the river in historic part of the city, great view to bridges, ships etc…. We sat outside under the trees and it was fantastic in a hot summer day! Beer was delicious & local pizza in the German version outstanding !!! Choose bacon, vegetables & olives!!! Enjoy

I had the pleasure of celebrating a friend's birthday at an exceptional restaurant that gave us an unforgettable evening. The restaurant showed impressive hospitality by waiting an extra hour for us after midnight so that we could celebrate my friend's birthday. I would particularly like to highlight the waitress Vivien, who made the evening even more special with her warm and friendly manner. She was attentive to our needs and always had a smile on her face. We were very impressed by your professionalism and warm-heartedness and helped us feel completely at home. When the moment came, the restaurant surprised us with a delicious cake that perfectly marked the start of my friend's birthday. The loving gesture and the excellent service made our evening unforgettable. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back for more beautiful moments. Typical tourist trap. Some dishes are ok but almost everything is completely overpriced. As people from Frankfurt, we of course had to try it out. But as a local you don't go here to eat.

This company cannot be reached. We would like to reserve a table for a company dinner. There was no response to the contact form, no response to emails and no one can be reached by phone... After what feels like 30 rings, the system automatically hangs up. It's a shame, colleagues from other regions would have liked to introduce the Frankfurt tradition, including food. Apparently the restaurant doesn't need any new customers. We're going somewhere else now!

You can sit outside in the summer, well-kept grounds, the food is very tasty, and the service is attentive. Perfect!

Wir wurden im Voraus gebeten, ein gutes Trinkgeld zu geben - bevor wir überhaupt bestellt haben!!!!! Das habe ich NIE! irgendwo erlebt.

Very rude service. We have been there during the European Cup and they choose the tables where they serve drinks. No need to go there.

We were there with several people. The service was courteous and the drinks were replenished, but at least twice the wrong drinks arrived. Non-alcoholic beer was already sold out at 7 p.m. for the second round. Unfortunately there are some negative points. The toilet lady demands money and harasses the customers, which is not possible. The food was expensive and disappointing in quality. The hand cheese (€8) was tiny, I can only advise against ordering it, and the portions, apart from the salad, were small overall. The pollack fillet was clearly a convenience product. The Frankfurter Schnitzel (24 €) was, as other guests have already written, very dry and also small. The apple strudel, on the other hand, was large and satisfying. You pay for the location here, but the quality is not right. Yes, increased costs have to be compensated, but if the taste and ambience suffer. No thanks. Overall the dining experience was disappointing and did not match the price. Unfortunately, the good service could not compensate for this. I'm not going there again.

Normalerweise gebe ich als Gast (eines Eingeladenen) kein Trinkgeld. Das ist Aufgabe meines Gastgebers. Aber unser Kellner war so aufmerksam und freundlich, dass es Spaß machte, von ihm bedient zu werden. Spitzenmäßig war der hausgemachte Apfelstrudel. Das Schnitzel war für mich einen tick zu trocken und die Pommes Frites nicht ganz rund abgeschmeckt. Die grüne Sauce schmeckte sehr frisch und aromathisch.

We had dinner here our first night in Frankfurt, based on a recommendation at our hotel. It was an easy 5 minute walk from our hotel. We shared an order of veal schnitzel and spätzel along with a glass of beer and of wine. Service was great and everything was delicious! Would recommend.

I had a tarte flambée with chicken. It was so well documented that I almost didn't finish it. So enough to fill you up. The other dishes we ordered were also well sized. Except for the hand cheese with music. It was actually a bit too expensive for one piece. Therefore one star less for the food. Service was very friendly and quick, so everything was great!

Just a lovely, lovely experience! The staff and food were so good that we went twice in a week :) Everything was good, Flammekuchen, spatzel, wine, sausages and the fried mushrooms yum....just really nice and reasonably priced. The staff could not have been more welcoming and sweet; no tourist pressure about tipping! Very highly recommended.

Unfortunately I can't recommend it. The schnitzel wasn't crispy, just hard. The waiters don't care about the guests as much as they should. A restaurant aimed at tourists.

It was my first time there and unfortunately I was very disappointed. I ordered boiled beef with green sauce and potatoes. The food was served after just 5 minutes. Judging by the taste, the boiled beef was simply heated in the microwave with the potatoes. The meat was very thin and, to be honest, barely edible. The green sauce was straight from the fridge so you had lukewarm microwave food with a cold sauce. Definitely a no-go for me and I personally wouldn't recommend the food.

Tried the beef broth soup, chicken schnitzel and bratwurst with sauerkraut. The broth was very flavourful and soothing, the beef in it was also quite tender. The chicken schnitzel was juicy and moist, not oily at all. Came with fries which were cooked well and also not oily. Bratwurst was grilled to a crisp and paired well with the sauerkraut. Service was friendly and prompt.

There were very good binding beers to choose from with 3 people in the inn and the portions were plentiful and tasty. The prices are high but normal for Frankfurt and the location. The service was a little overwhelmed, hence 1 star deducted. Big advantage: absolutely barrier-free access. So we'd love to come back.

Really good juicy half chicken, large portions

At the beginning of December 2023, my employer hosted a department Christmas party in the “Frankfurter Wirtshaus”. We had taken over the entire window front of the large dining room. According to the company's own description, the furnishings are rustic and modern. That's a good idea and despite the long rows of tables and benches, it's comfortable. So comfortable that I lasted a full seven hours that evening and was one of the last four guests to stagger out of the inn. The service was courteous and worked very well - the alcoholic beverage replenishment went smoothly. A nuisance for me was the gentleman who was responsible for keeping the sanitary area clean. I think it's great when restaurant owners attach so much importance to hygiene that they employ their own staff to do it. But the fact that the gentleman expected a donation from me with every visit really annoyed me. Suggestion: Pay the man properly and make sure he stops harassing the guests with tips. At dinner I decided on a salad as a starter (medium good) and the pollock fillet as the main course. A convenience product and one of the cheapest dishes on the menu. I can't currently judge what quality the other, hopefully self-prepared dishes have. However, looking at the current prices (January 2024) makes me dizzy. Yes, I know, the increased purchasing, wage and energy costs have to be compensated. The increased VAT is putting all restaurateurs under additional pressure. With all understanding: If I have to pay for it out of my own pocket, I have to be really impressed by the taste and I'm skeptical about that. Maybe I'll test this out in the next few months. I will report.

Very, very good - Although the Christmas market was raging outside, it was very nice inside. It was busy but not too loud, the service was attentive and quick, the food came quickly, was tasty, fresh and the price was OK. I can recommend it without reservation.

We went to the restaurant for dinner with a total of 8 colleagues and it was quite empty during the week. The ambience is quite nice, but the toilet attendant was an unusual surprise for me. In my opinion, the dishes are not particularly typical of the region, but could mostly be sold anywhere else. Exceptions confirm the rule where explanations are missing - e.g. what is a "Hubertus Schnitzel?". I can't order like that. The name "Frankfurter Wirthaus" made me suspect more local cuisine and more craftsmanship in food preparation. The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the food is poor and more like that of a snack bar. Of the 8 schnitzels, 5 looked indistinguishable despite mostly different names: a two-dimensional plate with fries and something indefinitely breaded, which, when the person sitting next to me cut it open, looked like thin pressed meat. The pork knuckle, burger and my wild herb salad with baked camembert were probably quite edible but the brown (meat?) sauce in a separate container didn't fit... well. Definitely a good place to have a beer on the Main, but I wouldn't eat there again.

The most pet-friendly restaurant I have ever eaten in Frankfurt. When I walked in, I asked if I wanted to give the puppy some water. It was super nice. Thank you very much🥹 The decoration is very beautiful, and you can see the beautiful scenery of the river through the large windows❤️

Das Essen was extrem salzig, und zwar alles, Schnitzel, Pommes, Flammkuchen. Das konnte man kaum essen. Würde ich nicht wieder hingehen.

Large restaurant hall place, we had a reservation for around 40 people - amazing that were were able to all be together and the service was all correct if with a bit of an (understandable) wait. There was a darker "craft" beer which was nice, and the Käsespätzle was creamy and filled me up fast!

Alles in allem ist super! Ein Beispiel für gutes Essen.

Ein tolles Lokal, ein tolles Ambiente und sehr, sehr freundliche Bedienungen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Binding ist leider so sehr nicht mein Bier, aber das ist ein persönlicher Geschmack, der sicherlich nicht zum Abzug eines Sterns führt.

Ich habe dort zu Abend gegessen Als Vorspeise hatte ich eine Kürbissuppe mit Ingwer, vielleicht einen ganz kleinen Ticken zu dick, Diese war sehr heiß. Dazu habe ich einen dicken Kanten Brot bekommen. War im ganzen sehr lecker. Als Hauptspeise habe ich mir Roulade bestellt. Diese wurde aufgeschnitten serviert mit zwei Kartoffelknödel und sehr viel Rotkohl. Rotkohl, war sehr gut abgeschmeckt! Roulade schmeckte gut, war im Kern mit einer Möhre gefüllt. Sauce allerdings war mir persönlich einerseits zu dick und zweitens zu süß. Im ganzem gut, aber nicht perfect

Tja, was soll man sagen…. Haben wir mal so an: Service Es sind ausreichend Kräfte vor Ort die flott, höflich und auch mit einer Portion Humor angenehm den Abend bereiten. Das (!) hat den Abend sehr angenehm gemacht. Leeres Geschirr wird umgehend abgeräumt - leere Getränke umgehend gegen weitere Wünsche ausgetauscht. Zu keiner Zeit wirkte es aufdringlich. Von diesem Personal könnte so mancher Gastronom sich eine Scheibe abschneiden. Ambiente Eine gelungene Mischung von modern, Industrie und historisch. Für das Auge gab es immer mal wieder etwas Neues zu entdecken, wenn laufende Gespräche kleine Pausen erbrachten. Dabei wirkt es nicht überzogen. Gute Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Essen Die Küche arbeitet rasch. Sonderwünsche werden ebenfalls umgesetzt - das Frankfurter Schnitzel konnte auch in der Variante Hähnchen umgesetzt werden. Kaum war das Essen bestellt, stand es auch schon vor einem. Und bewahrheitete sich der Grund für die Geschwindigkeit - das Schnitzel kam „getrocknet“ aus der Fritteuse - muss wohl convenience sein. Schade. Kein Beilagensalat. Die Kartoffeln hatten, erfreulicherweise, Spuren vom schälen (wenigstens das macht die Küche anscheinend selber!). Der Kollege hatte ein Feldsalat - war ein Berg von Teller und ihm scheint es geschmeckt zu haben - er würde wieder hierher kommen. Preise Die orientierten sich ganz klar an der Location - am Main und in der Innenstadt. Der Betreiber hat seine Kosten, die er hier wieder rein holen muss. Im Grunde genommen eine tolle Lokalität - wenn man keine zu höheren Ansprüche beim Essen stellt. Im übrigen ist die Küche hinter Glas! Wer es darauf anlegt kann auch hier einen Blick riskieren - es wirkte auch dort sauber!
