Good atmosphere The staff overall is friendly Beer is also delicious But it takes too long for Koreans to eat. It's so long that I can't express it in words They say that when you go to Rome, you have to do as the Romans do. It looks like the chef accidentally poured salt in it. Still, the food itself was delicious!

Unfortunately we weren't happy with the food, the service was nice but the evening was gone! Schnitzel was below average, fries and fried potatoes only lukewarm. The place wasn't full, but it was very loud!

The place is perfect, completely ventered in the city, esquisite cousine, the staff so understanding, joking around and nice as ever. Completely recommended. the rations are perfect suze for price

Pork knuckle and frankfurt schnitzel were amazing

We were in Frankfurt on Sunday (football) and actually wanted to go to a well-known restaurant in Sachsenhausen. Their rating leaves more and more to be desired, so we spontaneously went here after the Roman visit. We weren't disappointed. Outstanding service, very good food and drink. This is how you make sales and attract another visit. Many thanks to our waiter. It was just fun. TOP. Greetings from Berlin.

Very disappointing service. We sat outside and had to wait a long time before anyone even took our drink order. The waitress continued to speak English even though I answered in German - although she naturally spoke in German at the next table. The drinks only came after 15 minutes with the excuse that the bar was full - but inside it was empty. When we brought the drinks she wanted to collect straight away and said she would bring the bill straight away - but then made us wait for a good 10 minutes. When I asked my colleague, I was brushed off - he stood around, talked to other colleagues and said that that wasn't his table. When I went in, the waitress was sitting comfortably at the table eating. Absolutely disrespectful. Never again.

We arrived spontaneously to eat. The kitchen was actually already closing, but they made us a really delicious schnitzel with fried potatoes. What can I say, just awesome. Janine is a sweetheart and took great care! Thumbs up and happy again!

We became aware of the restaurant by chance after our visit to the iron bridge. A look at the existing reviews left me with positive expectations. Unfortunately, in our case these were not met in any way. It started when we were seated at a table that had apparently already been reserved. So we were simply seated (without any information) at a table with 2 people who were already eating. What was immediately noticeable was the extremely high noise level 😬 you could hardly have a conversation at the table at times. So instead of being served without onions and tomatoes, the burger ended up being served without cheese and with tomatoes. The highlight, however, was my veal (!!!) schnitzel - for more than €30. The meat portion was a slice of approx. 2 - 3 mm. the rest of the breading 😧 even 2 pieces couldn't distract from it. However, it must be mentioned here that the complaint was taken very seriously by our waitress. The price of the meal was completely waived for us. Dessert and coffee were also served free of charge. I really appreciate this and it is extraordinary. However, there remains an aftertaste and the question of whether that was really a "slip" or the standard 🤷‍♂️. The staff is friendly and does their best to serve the hungry crowd. For me, the term "mass processing" says it all - it's a shame, but you can probably afford it in this location. For me, the many positive reviews are difficult to understand.

The most important thing in advance: the food was great. The young ladies in service did their job properly. The fact that a gentleman (very nice) sits in front of the toilets with a plate and asks for “toilet money” is a bit irritating. The ambience is just average. Chairs rather uncomfortable because they have no seat cushions. It's not the place you want to spend the whole evening. Too loud and too uncomfortable for that. Again: my food was good

Don’t let the rating fool you, this is a classic tourist trap. 8 euros for a 750ml bottle of water and 15 euros for one average bratwurst dish. With these prices I didn’t expect the sauces to come in plastic bags like a fast food restaurant but tourist traps can afford to do that I guess.

Went there for dinner, was very excited about the reviews and was looking forward to the evening. What I first noticed was that it was really extremely loud, and having a conversation turned out to be difficult at times. What didn't work at all was the food. I ordered a chicken schnitzel because I just don't like pork. The schnitzel was served and the first bite made me feel sick. Fiber from the meat and taste was pork. The service assured me it was chicken but that would mean it was a cheap type of molded meat due to the fibers or it was prepared in the same pan/fryer as the pork schnitzel. Both are an absolute no-go. For the price you would expect a high quality meal and that was definitely not the case this evening. At least I ate the side dishes of fries, which were also good. Since the inn didn't offer any alternative food, I then went to another restaurant so that I could at least go home full. Even though the service was very friendly, I am disappointed with the inn and will not visit it again.

It is a restaurant that can be preferred to experience local flavors in a quality environment in Frankfurt. We were quite pleased with our dinner. Prices are above average. Around 25-30 euros per person. We recommend. For reservations, you can visit the venue or send an e-mail. During our trip, we stopped by the place during the day and made a reservation for dinner.

Unfortunately you're closing early, we had a class reunion and then had to move around the house!

The food is, let's say, okay. The schnitzel we had came from the deep fryer, and the potatoes weren't freshly prepared. Despite the large portion, €23.50 is overpriced in my opinion. The Riesling they served was very good for the price, though. The service was okay and prompt. The ambiance strikes me as rather cold, with too much concrete.

The cafe in the very tourist center of Frankfurt turned out to be of a good standard, which is usually rare for the center. The interior is in the Loft style, large windows overlooking the embankment. A comfortable sofa at the tables along the wall allows you to relax after a walk. Large portions of delicious dishes. A full lunch with dessert cost 35 euros per person. I especially recommend Apfelstrudel. The waiters, although exhausted from the large number of visitors, are very efficient. There were no problems with free seats at lunch. Changed the review from 5 to 3 stars, because on 30.03.2025 I was here again. The girl-administrator was literally rude: she offered us a table at the very entrance on the passage, although the cafe was half empty and there were many free seats in the hall. I asked for a table near the window. To which she threw the menu on the table she indicated, turned around and left. Unthinkable!

We ate at this restaurant 2–3 days ago. The food was completely fine, and the service was okay—until we received the bill. A young waitress with short black hair told us that a 10% tip was included. We were shocked because we had never experienced anything like this during our stay in Germany. We will not be coming back and cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

Rude and arrogant manager/waitress, twice he didn't let us eat. The third day he made us sit down, arrogant staff. We waited 40 minutes for each course, and we waited just as long for the empty plates to be removed. An experience not to be repeated. Truly disappointing.

Good restaurant with very nice and attentive service. We got very good schnitzels here for a slightly higher price. If I come here again, however, I will order two children's portions instead of one normal portion. These apparently had the same number of fries, a slightly smaller schnitzel, cost almost half of the normal portion and, in contrast to this one, even had a small salad with it.

Good selection of hearty dishes. The portions are large and tasted good. Service was okay, price performance was right. The atmosphere is nice, although not as “rustic” as one would expect from the name. Very nice location right on the Mainkai.

Not recommended!! Absolutely bottomless place and very rude staff. Were not allowed to sit outside with a stroller and were directed inside. We waited inside for three quarters of an hour and asked three times whether we could at least order something to drink. Last but not least, we were suddenly told by the blonde colleague that it was very crowded today. Then after about an hour WITHOUT being served, we got up again and left. Absolute impudence. If you can afford not to serve 6 people at all these days, then hats off to you. Luckily Frankfurt is big and we were able to stop somewhere else where we were served.

We've been there quite often, it's usually very crowded in this weather. But it all comes very quickly for this size. You have to think about that. The service was super friendly and attentive. We were there today, the lady who served us in the entrance area, you can't help it that the kitchen tells you that the apple strudel has no nuts, we specifically asked, they were in and asked specifically. Anything that went wrong in the kitchen can happen. Please it's not her fault, thank you for your attention and your warm manner. Luckily, my wife noticed it quickly and prevented something bad from happening with her nut allergy. We'd love to come back.

The flambé tart was delicious, the schnitzel was a bit too thick for my taste and the spetzala was nice. All in all a good place to taste German food and in a nice location by the river.

FRANKFURTER WIRTSHAUS - right in the very center of Frankfurt, just around the corner of the Römer (city hall). Outside best places facing the river Main, very friendly staff and prompt service, fair and reasonable prices.

Rarely have I eaten such good German cuisine. Great value for money, staff quick and super friendly. Absolute recommendation in Frankfurt.

Update: January 15. Update: August 28. Update October 1. Do not go there under any circumstances! They delete reviews along with Google!!!(6 times already) Freedom of speech? They didn't hear! This establishment was 3.7* now 4.6) So you can pay Google and remove bad reviews? Obviously yes. Despite my appeal to Google, they still deleted the bad reviews... I am contacting the director of the establishment! - Improve the quality of service, the quality of food, and don’t bother removing bad reviews!

It was a restaurant I always wanted to visit when I went to Frankfurt, so I went there right away. Even though it's Sunday evening, it's full. I don't know if they were locals, but I had a delicious meal in an exotic atmosphere filled with more than 90% Westerners. I tried pilsner, witbier, and Radler, but I liked the witbier the best. The Schweinhaksen was a little salty, but it was good with a rich flavor. The accompanying potato dish is soft with cheese, and the sauerkraut is really delicious. In terms of Korean taste, it's stir-fried... white kimchi?? It's pretty delicious. The schnitzel batter is crispy and the meat is soft and delicious. It was a unique experience in a noisy atmosphere. Also, I don't know the name of the employee who was in charge of our table, but he wore glasses and had a nice beard, and he served us kindly and gave us detailed explanations, so we were satisfied with both menu selection and payment, and it was a pleasant meal. It was my first meal in Germany, and I was very satisfied. Recommended.

The waitress was very nice. Ambiance just as pleasant. Unfortunately the food was completely “finished”. To charge €32 for a schnitzel that is not freshly breaded with spaetzle and gravy + a little water is extortionate!!!

You can see it right after crossing the Eiselner Bridge. The guy who took our order and served us was very kind. And the portion was really, really big...but the taste was good. Recommended for those who want to truly experience German food.

We were there with 6 people. We got a table on a Saturday without any problems. The staff was very friendly. The food tasted very good. The portion size was also completely sufficient. Unfortunately, the side dishes with the meal were only lukewarm at most. The fries were also soggy. We let them go back and got fresh, hot and crispy fries in return. The prices are a bit higher.

A German restaurant. There's a lot of everything. Ordered beer and sausage. I didn't finish the pickled cabbage and left it behind. The cost was just under €30.

I cannot recommend the restaurant. The drinks are listed on the menu as 0.5 liters and come in a much smaller glass. The service took a long time and the food was definitely not justified for the price. In the end, an attempt was made to make more money by paying the wrong amount. You definitely shouldn't do that. We don't go there anymore! Unfortunately, the first post was embarrassingly removed by a lawyer because people can't seem to fully accept the truth here.

Great venue We had a lovely afternoon drink with our friends in this venue with views of the River Main, but the experience was marred when the waiter charged me a 10% tip which made me feel awkward because I felt that I couldn't refuse!

We received a very friendly welcome, even though we were there before our reserved date. We were given, for our taste, the nicest table in the corner. We enjoyed the food very much, the portions are sizeable. The waitress Enisa Sulejmani looked after us the whole evening. She is very attentive and so friendly. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen as often in the hospitality industry anymore. She was the reason that we visited the Frankfurter Wirtshaus a second time before we left.

With the rule that you are not allowed to sit by the window. Not even if all seats are unoccupied and not a single window seat was reserved. Unfortunately only 2 stars otherwise 3 food ok but expensive - tarte flambée standard €17.50

Impossible “personnel management”👎 The food was great and the service was very nice. Unfortunately, she also seemed stressed and driven by the management present.🫣 Unfortunately, we were sitting in the restaurant right next to the “office area” (normal seating area) where there were two gentlemen, one of whom was “talking” in an impossible, incompetent and hurtful manner to the staff, who were summoned as “sweetheart”. We were able to understand the situation described word for word. Something like this is usually not clarified publicly and not in such a “matscho way”. We could see the kitchen area directly. Everything seemed well organized and clean here. Because of the unpleasant atmosphere, we will only have been guests here once 😔.

The Spätzle they served us were closer to Rösti than Spätzle! The quality of the Schnitzel was ok, but the serving were generous!

We were in Frankfurt as a stopover on our return trip and had a few hours until our flight, so instead of spending them at the airport, we decided to fly into the city, which is very easily accessible from the airport. After a bit of searching we ended up at this particular restaurant...and luckily we did!! I think it was the best choice we could have made! First off all the guys working there were great! Especially the guy who served us (unfortunately I didn't keep his name) helped us a lot in everything, he even took my cell phone to charge it which I needed! And now the most important...the food! We got a tarte flambée, a children's menu with pork schnitzel, a schnitzel humbertus and a sausage. Along with these we got a beer, a glass of cider, a coffee, a hot chocolate and finally an apple strudel with ice cream and white chocolate cream... And it was all great! Really, one better than the other!! If we find ourselves in Frankfurt again, it will definitely be our first choice! Thank you very much for everything!

Disappointing We ordered onion schnitzel and mushroom schnitzel, the food came very quickly but couldn't meet our expectations. Generally edible, but more comparable to a canteen. Frozen schnitzel, frozen fries, bagged sauces and the prices are simply cheeky in relation to the service. The waitresses are very nice and accommodating, hence one more star. Just a shame.

Visit was ok. Ambiance nice and clean. Service nice. Beer was good. Food was ok. The food we had could all have been processed foods. Nothing against finished products, but the price is very, very high.

I don't think the food is really delicious. Like most German foods, it's a bit salty overall, but it's right in front of the Eiselner Bridge, so if the weather is nice, it would be nice to eat while looking out the window. And when we entered the restaurant, the young female servers didn't immediately show us our seats and were busy talking, but after we were seated, the middle-aged male server in charge of our table was very friendly! The restroom is located inside the restaurant, so I was surprised to see a security guard in front of it, but they explained that it was for the purpose of charging a fee when outsiders use it. They said that if you use the restaurant, you can just use it at your convenience.

We had a beer and flammkuchen, both were great. It was busy but the service was still very good. The restaurant has a nice view of the river. Highly recommended!

Excellent restaurant with traditional German food cooked to perfection. We arrived quite late and as the kitchen was about to close but we were accommodated. The waiting staff were beyond friendly, food was very tasty and portion sizes were good too. We spent just over €60 including the tip, we had two mains and two soft drinks. Weve been on a Wednesday night and it was quite lovely and full but the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Will definitely come back!

I came to Frankfurt's Römerplatz and happened to find it close by. I came here and the service was good and the amount of food (especially the school fees) was huge!! I ate the beef sausage, and my friend ordered the beef sausage. It was delicious, but he couldn't eat it all. The food is delicious. This is Germany! I feel like doing it. By the way, do you get a separate tip later? I didn’t know that because it’s been a long time since I was in Germany. Belgium has a tipping culture. There wasn't.

We went twice and both times they kicked us out, the first time we understandably arrived late and the kitchen was closed, the second time we went much earlier and they kicked us out again, the waiter with glasses and a beard gave us no explanation.

Surprisingly, everything we ordered was delicious! Grilled chicken, Spätzle, children's menu and dessert - I recommend trying everything 🤩 beautiful view of the Main.

This place iz a BIG disappointment. Apart the fact that the place is situated on good place, near the river, there is really nothing else why would someone go there. The food is average, but overpriced. Really overpriced! Zwiebelschnitzel vom Schwein for 22.50€ is way too much for an average schnitzel in an average restaurant. But the worst part is paying. When you ask for the bill, they just come and tell you the price, without bringing the check. I asked once more, and waitress said that she will bring the bill, right after I pay. I really got the bill after that, but it turns out that they added 10% to the bill without asking me! Long story short, go somewhere else. This place is not worth visiting.

Ordered lachsfilet, pretty average unfortunately, more kartoffelsalat than the fish. Binding not the most favored beer of mine, and for 6.50€ (0.5l) pretty expensive. We wanted to celebrate a friend's birthday, and brought a small cake, wanted to order tea and coffee after eating/drinking, we were not allowed and were told "the manager does not allow", we asked to talk to the manager to explain the situtation - surprise, surprise, the manager sleeps at home :D Locationwise - top, nothing else top unfortunately. Hope to see improvements in the menu and especially the customer service. Cheers!

I had a business dinner at the place. Food is about average and what is to expect in a place like this. Service was acceptable but when I was about to pay and didn't pay attention they added a tip of EUR 30 on the bill without my consent.

If only I had not eaten all day, for the past three days, I would’ve finished the Schweinshaxe. For those looking for a culinary, grastronomic experience, the Frankfurter Wirsthaus is the destination. Though we did not have a reservation, we were pleasantly seated and served. Nevertheless, plan on a reservation, the place was packed. The meal arrived within minutes.

Good pub atmosphere, a bit noisy, good Frankfurt food.

I picked grill chicken and half chicken was serviced😄 It was surprising. I wish to order it with a friend to share. I was on bar and I was difficult to cut the chicken on high bar table. There were many families with kids around and too loudly. But traditional menu was satisfied me.
