Here I ate the best steak in all of Rhine-Main...! Really great. We were there again. Once again it was a really excellent, cozy, warm atmosphere. The service is very quick, ad hoc, I'm too charming... I stand by the verdict. This steak is second to none. Simply outstanding! It is served on a hot stone. So the experience is enhanced again. The guest is completely free to decide how to fry their steak individually - perfectly to your liking.

Nice cider economy with good food

Very nicely located and the inside is as you would imagine a cider restaurant to be. The cider was, as expected, very good, but the food was disappointing. A carelessly dressed meatloaf, slightly warmed and dry. The second dish, a bratwurst, only saw the pan for a very short time and was also only lukewarm. There is still a lot of room for improvement when eating.

Everything, just everything was great. We always enjoy going to the embassy.

Walked past spontaneously and got a table straight away, despite there being a parallel Christmas party in the next room. Food was very, very good and served quickly. We ate rump steak with fries, horseradish salad and various sauces. The whole thing was served to cook yourself on a hot stone. Taste wise a 10 out of 10 Thanks to the kitchen team and the service, keep it up 💪

Brilliant summer garden/meadow! Come early or just bring your time. Best refreshment during the lunch break: Embassy spritzer (cloudy apple juice with bitter lemon). Check out the lunch and game menu - it's worth it. I just prefer to eat boiled beef elsewhere, here it's too "al dente" for me.

Cider good. Ambience was OK too. But the conditions were terrible. Madame immediately complained that she wasn't serving anyone outside. So we had to sit inside. She also absolutely hated every walk away from her cell phone, which she always had in her hand.

My wife and I went to the Possmann apple wine embassy for the second time today. The nice, blonde waitress recognized us, we had wild boar sausage, with red cabbage and potatoes, as well as cordon bleu, fries and salad ordered... and eaten. A small interim order for another slice of lemon was registered by a large, strong waitress wearing hot paints and what felt like 10 cm long, white, glued-on fingernails, but still not brought after 5 minutes; The Cordon Bleu was threatening to go cold, so I ordered again from a very nice, veteran waiter, who brought the citrus quarter straight away. When you pay then the big hit: € 46.30, I put a cup on the table, the strong woman with the white nails takes the note and... leaves! I call out to her about the change, she replies that she thought it was “right”! I've never experienced anything like this. Now she also felt like she had stepped on the imaginary trick and called her colleague, who brought the change and we left. Conclusion: Great food and drink, you can sit in the countryside under the apple trees, very nice atmosphere, but the strong woman in the shorts has me..................

Actually everything was very nice. Nice location and acceptable food. I was just really surprised when I initially placed it. In the roaring heat, the two of us were offered a table in the sun. We didn't want that. Only after a lot of back and forth did we get a partially shaded spot. Half of the tables in the garden were free but supposedly reserved. 2 1/2 hours later we left. The garden was even emptier then. Strange behavior from the waiter. Therefore one star less.

The food is good, the service is friendly and fast and it's nice to sit outside in the beer garden. Cider lovers will get their money's worth here.

Traditional German cuisine, deliciously cooked. The big rump steak came perfectly rare. It was a sunny hot day in Frankfurt, we sat outside and really enjoyed the shadow thrown by the big tree above us. And... do not miss apple wine 😉

Very good cider pub with delicious food. Right next to the Possmann apple wine press in Rödelheim. Friendly service, good cuisine, that's what convinced us. We'll definitely come back.

Would I go there again? Yes, but only because of the ambience outside and because of the naturally cloudy apple wine (Mrs. Rauscher). I was very disappointed with the food. 2 hand cheeses with a few onions in run-of-the-mill vinegar dressing, no caraway and above all: no apple cider in the dressing, I would have expected that and others do it very well. I paid 9.20 euros for these 2 hand cheeses carelessly thrown onto the plate. That might even be a record for Frankfurt. Therefore: no recommendation, never eat there again! By the way, my blackheads weren't happy either: chanterelle cream soup tasted more like a finished product than like chanterelles.

Mid-range to not-so-great food with mid-range service in a nice location. Unfortunately, the prices are so high that you feel ripped off.

Essen (Schnitzel, Apfelweibratwurst) war lecker und ausreichend portioniert. Handkäs ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Schöner Garten. Die Bedienung hatte nicht so richtig Lust, war also nur "okay". Wie ich finde, relativ teuer.

I've been looking forward to celebrating my birthday there with my children for weeks and have reserved a table for 6 people. It took some time before we could place our drinks and food orders. The first drinks came relatively quickly and after over an hour we received 2 starters and 1 main course even though we had ordered 6 main courses. A no go. We complained to the waitress several times that we still hadn't received food for 5 people and were put off. Come immediately. After 1 1/2 hours we were finally able to order more drinks, the waitress was completely overwhelmed and was just running around. After more than 2 hours and still no food was served and several guests who came after us had already finished eating, I went into the restaurant to pay for my drinks and leave. Our food was still not on the kitchen counter. I was angry, disappointed and hungry and ashamed for suggesting this place to my children. There was another guest standing next to me who also waited so long with a small child and didn't get any food either. I received an excuse that a defective cash register system was to blame.

Great garden with underground service. After 25 minutes of waiting a waiter comes. Immediately the note “we have a lot to do” - great welcome. Reason enough to leave the restaurant again, similar to what various other guests have done before.

A lovely, traditional wine and beer garden. The menu has a lot of choice, which could also be its disadvantage. My meal, cod, potatoes and spinach was not good. Those who ate green sauce thought it was excellent. There were few waitresses there, but she handled it very well. Despite the area, the ambience is beautifully located in the countryside.

Haven't been here for a while, but still a recommendation for anyone who likes to drink apple wine and enjoy good Hessian cuisine. It can also be wonderfully seated outdoors.... Very attentive service, as there was a thunderstorm on our day and we were seated outside... All in all we had a lovely, enjoyable stay 😊

It was atypical for a cider restaurant, but I somehow felt like it... Sparerips (called Frankfurter Leiterchen here), which I didn't regret. The things were tasty and it was a really decent portion. According to my companion, the tarte flambée was good.

Quaint Äppler restaurant with delicious food. It was our first time here and definitely not the last time. You can sit comfortably outside. The staff were very nice and attentive. Great destination!

If you compare this restaurant with others of its kind in Frankfurt's tourist areas, then it stands out positively. Really good home cooking instead of canteen-like mass catering. Always friendly and attentive service completes the good overall picture.

Very down-to-earth, Hessian cuisine. The beer garden is great and even in summer there is always a shady spot under the trees. The service was very friendly, courteous and quick on each of our visits. The food is delicious and recommended.

It's really good and Apple wein is taste special, but beer is better.

Asparagus was fibrous, cod was dry. Hollandaise from the bag. Boiled potatoes not waxy. Everything that was possible was wrong on my plate. A pity. With a price of €30 for the dish, I expected slightly above average quality.

Great food, great atmosphere but real bad service from a certain server. The server was the worst one I have ever had. I asked her to recommend a main dish but she said she is too busy and has to leave. Apart from that great food and peaceful atmosphere.

We were there yesterday. The food and the cider were absolutely delicious^^ ... but the service was just awful. Even our wave was ignored. (Especially from the older gentleman) It's a real shame... it used to be really great there.

Glad I found you in my second Rödelheim episode. Nice restaurant, friendly, unobtrusive service, nice kitchen team. The Ebbelwei selection is good, the medlars are well filled and the sweet is delicious. Schnitzels are still made, the open kitchen ensures transparency and the fried potatoes are actually fried in a pan (they are sometimes too Germany, I like them super crispy). Everything I've tried so far is well crafted and the selection is appropriate. The vegetarian offering is a bit poor and I didn't discover any vegan dishes. In summer it's also a good place to take a quick walk or bike ride in the garden. Please note: Closed on Sundays!

Gut bürgerliche Frankfurter-Küche, für die bodenständige Küche recht teuer.

Schönes rustikales Ambiente, sehr aufmerksamer Service, super freundlich ohne aufgesetzt zu wirken. Ein hervorragendes Himmel und Ääd und ein ebenso tolles Dessert-Apfelringe mit Vanillesauce und Eis. Vielleicht bin ich ja irgendwann mal wieder in der Nähe, dann komme ich sicher wieder

Sehr gute Frankfurter Spezialitäten. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist sehr lecker.

Wir waren das erste Mal da und werden wieder hingehen.

Schon des öfteren mit Kollegen hier zur Mittagspause was Essen gegangen. Typische Hessische Küche, von grie Soss bis Handkäs mit Musik. Und's Stöffche gibts auch Alkoholfrei, nur wegen Mittagspause und so.😆

Man sitzt in einem sehr schönen Biergarten, der Service ist nett und flott, das Essen lecker, die Preise wie überall gestiegen. Was aber gar nicht ging waren die Preise für Nachtisch. Leider waren sie nicht auf der Karte und wir haben auch nicht erst nach dem Preis gefragt. Hätten wir machen sollen, dann hätte es nämlich keinen Nachtisch gegeben. Ein Mini-Schokotörtchen mit 3 Klecksen roter Sauce in ganz normaler Convenience-Qualität über 7€. 3 mittelmäßige Apfelringe mit einem Klecks Vanillesauce 7.50€. Damit hatte ich leider nicht gerechnet, und so war der letzte Eindruck an dem Abend kein Guter.

Hessische Gaststätte mit einer kleinen Karte. Das Essen ist geschmacklich hervorragend & wenn man drinnen sitzt, kann man den Koch bei der Zubereitung zusehen, zeugt von Qualität. Einen Platz bei gutem Wetter sollte man sich rechtzeitig reservieren, jedoch hatte ich mit etwas Zeit noch nie Probleme einen Tisch spontan zu bekommen.
