Francescas Kitchen - Kochservice feinster Art in Freiburg im Breisgau

It's now my favorite place in Freiburg. I especially recommend all the pasta dishes, as the pasta is all freshly made in-house :)

The food was fabulous. I had no idea that spaghetti carbonara could taste so delicious vegan, crispy and creamy! By candlelight, it felt truly at home. Hair was being cut on the chair next to us, which provided additional entertainment, and luckily not a single hair ended up in the food or wine, phew! The cook was very passionate, but unfortunately I didn't understand her very well—her Bavarian dialect was a bit of a hindrance. Well, after waiting an hour for our food despite having a reservation, the result was truly stunning – lovingly homemade gnocchi with a delicious sauce made from pre-ripened tomatoes allowed me to experience flavors I never could have imagined. Additionally, the ambiance with jazz music and candlelight was truly delightful. If the chef can be a bit more on the ball next time, I'll give it 5 stars! Thank you for this wonderful evening.

Excellent vegan food, very good international cuisine. My lemon pasta was very good, fresh, and well-seasoned, and the pancakes for dessert were very fluffy! I think this will be my new regular! The hostess is a little messy and unpunctual, but I could overlook that :) Best regards, Thomas

The service speaks a strong regional dialect, making the experience very authentic. The food is good, and although I had to forgo the pork knuckle and baked cheese, the fresh garden salad with local herbs was very good for my cholesterol. When I asked the friendly waitress for her number, she unfortunately declined and then kicked me out of the restaurant after I started crying. Hence only 4/5 stars. The beer was cold and delicious.
