Forsthaus Glauchau in Glauchau

Ich war heute im Gesellschaft das erste mal im Forsthaus. Und ich war echt positiv überrascht. Schon von außen, ein sehr einladender Anblick. Innen das gleiche. Dann eine wunderbare Speisekarte, die nicht mit hunderten Speisen überlastet ist. Und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Freundliche Leute, die da arbeiten. Die verstehen Spaß und machen auch gern ein Späßchen. Und zu guter letzt hat mich das Essen überzeugt. Sehr sehr gut. Diese Gaststätte kann man sehr gut weiter empfehlen. Danke an alle im Lokal.

Wir sind immer wieder gern dort. Essen, Ambiente und auch die freundliche Bedienung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Schön, dass es so eine Location gibt!

Superlage am Wald. Lädt ein zum Wandern und genießen.

Ganz lieber Service und toller Standort! Wir waren gestern wandern und haben uns sehr gefreut, dass auch nach 14 Uhr durchgängig die Küche geöffnet hat. Das Würzfleisch war super und ein herrlicher Biergarten, auch hundelieb! Vielen Dank

Das Forsthaus Glauchau ist wirklich ein absolutes Highlight! Das Essen war unfassbar gut – frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier großer Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als fair – für diese Qualität zahlt man hier wirklich angemessen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Forsthaus Glauchau uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben uns kurzfristig entschieden, telefonisch noch Platz bekommen da wir sehr flexibel sind. Haben tolles und leckeres Essen bekommen. Sehr zu empfehlen. Sind nett und freundlich bedient worden.

Wir sind nach einer kleinen Wanderrunde und vorheriger Reservierung im Forsthaus eingekehrt - der Kellner war sehr freundlich, das Ambiente ist auch nach dem Umbau eine gelungene Mischung aus modern und klassischer Jagdstube, das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen groß. Dazu das hauseigene Bier - definitiv ein empfehlenswertes Ausflugsziel. Hier kommt man gerne wieder!

Wir haben hier im Dezember einen runden Geburtstag gefeiert und waren im Gesellschaftsraum vorne rechts am Eingang. Das ist ein wirklich schöner Raum, in dem eine mittelgroße Gesellschaft sehr gut Platz findet – gemütlich, hell und perfekt für Feiern 🎁 Das Essen war sehr gut, die Getränke ebenfalls, und der Service war die ganze Zeit über aufmerksam und freundlich. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom angebotenen Nuss-Blechkuchen – richtig lecker! 🎉 Auch die gesamte Vorabkommunikation lief super: Die Absprachen am Tag der Feier selbst haben genauso gut funktioniert 👏🏻 Ein weiteres Plus: Ein großer Berner Senne von Gästen durfte mitkommen, was wir als sehr angenehm und unkompliziert empfunden haben 🐕 Ein ganz kleines Manko gab es am Ende doch: Die Heizung ließ sich nicht für den Raum regulieren, sodass wir ziemlich geschwitzt haben und nur über offene Fenster für Abkühlung sorgen konnten. Aber das ist bei solchen Heizsystemen wohl nicht immer so einfach zu steuern. Insgesamt war es aber eine rundum gelungene Feier in toller Atmosphäre – wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Forsthaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen 🥂

Ambiente, Essen und die Bedienung wirklich top. Kann ich zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Nach der Wanderung ein Bier, war okay. Karte ließt sich lecker - leider nicht gegessen.

Tolles Gasthaus! Ambiente, Service und Essen sehr gut!

Wir waren als Gruppe zum Abendessen. Ein echt tolles Essen, für jeden etwas dabei! Toller Service, kurze Wartezeit, sehr leckere Speisen. Echt empfehlenswert!

Nachtrag (26.12.2025) zur vorherigen Rezension. Eingekehrt nach vor vorheriger Reservierung (unbedingt erforderlich bei entsprechenden Feiertagen) zum Weihnachtsessen. Bestellt wurde Wildschweinbraten. Die Portion war gut gefüllt und sehr schmackhaft. Leckere Knödel mit Rotkraut und Wildschweinbraten mit sehr angenehmen Wildgeschmack ohne zu dominant zu wirken. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen mit vorheriger Reservierung. Sehr gemütliches Gasthaus am Waldrand. Wir waren als Familie dort zum Mittagessen. Das Haus war sehr gut besucht. Eine Reservierung ist daher auch dringend angeraten. Sehr freundlicher Service und nur kurze Wartezeiten bis zur Bestellung. Auffällig die vorgewärmten Teller, daher blieben die Gerichte auch lange warm. Sehr lecke Speisen, gut gewürzt überaus zartes Fleisch. Wer sehr großen Appetit mitbringt, sollte auf eine kleine Vorspeise nicht verzichten. Dieses Gasthaus ist sehr zu empfehlen.

We visited this wonderful restaurant on Friday, November 29, 2025. The staff was excellent and the food was delicious. The dining room was beautiful. We'll gladly return when we visit Glauchau again.

The two of us were there today after a hike...the inn has a wonderful atmosphere, very cozy and inviting. The landlady (I assume it was the landlady) was very friendly and accommodated our special requests. The food was very, very good, the schnitzel was perfect 👍. I can definitely recommend the Forsthaus.

We happened to pass by this restaurant today, August 31, 2025, on a bike ride. We really enjoyed the beautiful, modern ambiance and stopped for a break. Very friendly and attentive staff 🫶😍. We ordered a pretzel 🥨 salad and a Tyrolean snack—I haven't eaten anything so delicious in a long time 😜🤤 We'll be back—no question 😍🤩

A very nice country inn. The price and quality were very good. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

We were registered for a beer pong tournament that takes place there every year. Beforehand, we wanted to grab something to eat and found this forest lodge on Google. All I can say is, it was simply amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. If I go there again next year, I'll definitely come back.

The food was delicious, well-seasoned, and, above all, served really quickly despite the large number of guests – that's where the Mice en Place comes in. 💪 The menu is varied and stands out from other German restaurants, and the service is attentive and prompt. Everything is just right here ❤️

A very idyllic restaurant, the dining rooms are also very nice. We were there for a family celebration with 20 people. I'm only talking about my meal, which was very disappointing. Four people had ordered roast pork, but I didn't get mine with the others. I only got mine after asking several times, after everyone had already received their food. When I finally got my food, this roast pork had nothing to do with the original dish. After I returned the meat, the waitress just gave me a dirty look and no apology. A real shame.

Nice place to stop for a break at the edge of the forest. Super nice service and good food. We came unannounced as a larger group with children. Everything was made possible quickly and easily and we had a good time! Highly recommended.

If you want to eat well and at a reasonable price in a nice atmosphere with fast and extremely friendly service, you've come to the right place! There were 15 of us and everything worked wonderfully at the same time. The food, many of which had schnitzel, was very tasty and plentiful. The desserts were also very, very tasty. We would love to come back here. Sufficient parking space in front of the house.

You immediately feel NOT welcome if you come here unannounced. No friendly hello, more of a feeling of, please go away, we have too much to do. You have to bring your own drinks if you dare to sit outside. It's a shame because the food is great and the location is great. By the way, it's not a snapshot, it's happened to us several times here.

I was completely surprised when I walked past the Glauchau forester's lodge today. It was gone!! A shell of an extension with a new roof was recently seen, which certainly cost a lot of money. Now all you can see is a construction pit and the sign posted says the opening date is July 2nd, 2021! Not even Elon Musk from Tesla builds that quickly in Brandenburg. Let us surprise you, I would be happy! Then I'll do a new review with the full number of stars! In January 2025 we had lunch again in the new forester's house and we really enjoyed it. Friendly staff and tasty food. We'd love to come back.

A few months ago we were eating here and I ordered a spicy meat dish. It was the worst seasoned meat I've ever had. Instead of meat there was skin and bones and the taste was far too sour. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she was offended and behaved very unprofessionally. We'll never eat here again!

The food was good, but it was just loudly warm. The only thing that was very warm were the dumplings. Unfortunately the meat and the red cabbage were just loud.

Today, Thursday, October 24th, 2024, we went for a walk in the Rümpfwald and then had dinner in the forester's house. People were very at peace again. The food was great, the service was very friendly, everything was great. You'll be happy to come back. We ate: Forsthaus schnitzel and chicken breast fillet with tomato and mozzarella, drinks: homemade lemonade. We went on a nice bike ride to the Glauchau forester's lodge. At the end we ate in the forester's house, roast wild boar and chicken breast with ribbon noodles. The food was very good. 👍👍👍 The staff was very friendly and helpful. Simply great 😊 We can only recommend it. In any case, we would love to come back. 👍👍👍🍀

It would be good if you took your time and built a charging station for e-bikes. Since it is now a destination for many cyclists. See Voglaide ;-) Otherwise very nice if you can get a place.

Well, we've been here several times and again today and I have to say, always very friendly, very attentive, people always ask if everything is okay. The food is very good and the prices are completely okay and not too expensive, everything is just right here. It's always like a little holiday experience when you're here, which is also what makes the beautiful, cozy atmosphere. And open on Sundays, which only a few have. Keep it up and see you soon

Great restaurant with a passion for Tyrolean cuisine. Friendly quick service. My schnitzel was thin and freshly prepared. Reasonable prices for what is on offer. A menu that isn't too big, but where everyone can find something. I think it's good. This way I know that the food is freshly prepared. We will be back.
