Ich gehe schon seit Jahren hierher. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Leider scheint der Besitzer gesundheitliche Probleme gehabt zu haben. Gute Besserung!

Das Essen ist wirklich köstlich, und es ist ein tolles Lokal. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig, und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit. Wenn du in der Nähe von P-berg bist, solltest du es unbedingt ausprobieren.

Eher ein billiges Straßensandwich als ein Sandwich für 15 Euro.

Absolut genial, das Pulled-Pork-Sandwich mit Chili-Kräutersauce ist ein Genuss!

Ganz netter Laden. Hier bekommt man Sandwiches im Subway-Style, die jedoch wirklich authentischer, besser schmecken und einfach konsistent gut sind. Die Eigentümer haben hier ein gutes Konzept gefunden. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden, Essen super lecker und gute Portionen . Tolle Atmosphäre.Bedienung sehr freundlich. Sehr netter und hilfreicher Service und alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Essen ist super frisch, es gibt tolle Kombinationen zur Auswahl und die Portionen sind großzügig. Croque Special , New York Style ist zu empfehlen! Komme gerne wieder!

Formidable ist ein Sandwichladen in Pankow mit einer großen Auswahl an köstlichen Optionen. Der Inhaber ist ein entspannter, unkomplizierter Typ, der seine Gäste effizient und diskret bedient und die Speisen für sich sprechen lässt. Wir probierten das Wochenangebot: ein Pastrami-Sandwich nach New Yorker Art mit einem deutschen Touch, verfeinert mit Senf und Sauerkraut. Sehr geschmackvoll, und das geröstete Brot sorgte für eine tolle, knusprige Textur. Im Laden gibt es außerdem eine Nintendo-Konsole, an der man alte Klassiker spielen kann, während Eminem und Old-School-Rap die perfekte Stimmung erzeugen. Wir waren wirklich überrascht, dass der Laden leer war. Dieser Ort verdient viel mehr Aufmerksamkeit.

Dieser Ort ist großartig. Alle Sandwiches sind frisch und super lecker. Der Chef ist sehr freundlich. Außerdem läuft hier immer gute Musik.

Ein toller Ort für ein warmes und leckeres Sandwich in Prenzlauer Berg. Ich habe zwei verschiedene Croque-Sandwiches probiert und beide waren wirklich gut. Das Brot war schön geröstet und knusprig, die Füllungen frisch und aromatisch, und die Portionen waren großzügig. Man kann verschiedene Zutaten und Soßen auswählen, sodass jeder etwas nach seinem Geschmack findet. Alles schmeckte frisch zubereitet, und die Sandwiches waren heiß und perfekt ausbalanciert. Freundliche Atmosphäre und ein idealer Ort für eine schnelle, leckere Mahlzeit. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich in der Gegend bin.

Wenig Berliner kennen es, aber wer einmal da war, kommt nochmal. Die Croques sind einmalig in der Stadt. Das Menü ist vielseitig, der Service professionell (gibt sogar eine Super Nintendo in der Ecke), das Personal ist SEHR freundlich. Das Hamburger Original sogar übertroffen!

Wir haben den Barbecue-Bacon-Burger bestellt und er war der absolute Hammer 🔥. Das ganze Gericht war einfach perfekt, und die Chilisauce war echt der Wahnsinn.

Ich habe hier ein wirklich tolles veganes Sandwich gegessen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Ein toller Sandwichladen mit einer köstlichen Auswahl an Croque-Sandwiches. Es kann schon mal etwas voller werden, daher muss man manchmal kurz warten, aber die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich. Coole Musik und ein Super Nintendo verkürzen die Wartezeit.

Es war einfach sehr lecker, hatten einmal das Pulled Pork, Pastrami und Cheeseburger Croque, waren alle sehr lecker. Einzige was ich nicht so cool fand, war der Krautsalat, der hatte mich eher an Sauerkraut erinnert und ich hatte mit einem Coleslaw gerechnet, aber trotzdem war es sehr lecker 😎

10/10! Meine Freunde und ich waren Anfang der Woche dort, als wir nach unserer Landung in Berlin gleich das erste Restaurant aufgesucht haben. Die Atmosphäre war einladend und hatte einen coolen, unkonventionellen Charme (ich liebe den originalen Gameboy!), was in einem unabhängigen Lokal eine willkommene Abwechslung war. Der Besitzer war sehr nett, hat uns alles erklärt und bei der Bestellung geholfen (wir sind englische Muttersprachler und sprechen kein Deutsch – die Speisekarte an der Wand ist auf Deutsch). Und das Wichtigste: Das Essen war unglaublich! Wir haben alle etwas anderes bestellt, und alles sah nicht nur fantastisch aus, sondern schmeckte auch unglaublich lecker! Unsere sechs komplett leeren Teller sind ein klares Zeichen, dass ihr unbedingt hingehen solltet!

Ich war im Formidable zum Mittagessen, und es ist wirklich ein ganz besonderer Ort. Der Service war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Das Sandwich war ein wahres Kunstwerk. Man konnte die Liebe, die darin steckte, richtig schmecken. Und es liegt praktischerweise genau zwischen meiner Arbeit und meiner Wohnung! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

A doner kebab costs almost 9 euros, so it's worth spending a few euros more and getting something really great to eat. It's a really great place; there's nothing there that doesn't taste good. The owner is a real bloke too.

Great Sandwich place. Interesting and varied combinations, all ingredients fresh and made to order. Service fast & efficient and extremely friendly. Arrived for brunch, shortly after opening hour, were given the time to decide, were advised on combinations. My 11 year old lived it ! Wanted to "drink" the aeoli sauce 🤣 Will be back, definitely on our favorites list for sandwiches, thanks !

The food here is really delicious. I always enjoy coming here. The simple garlic bread is amazing. The tarte flambée and croque monsieur are also incredibly tasty.

I never really believed in gods. Not really. Because I've been converted. My god now wears a cap and apron and makes the damn best sandwiches earthly life has to offer in his temple. The best? Yes, without a doubt. But the holy grail? - Nachos! Without jalapeños ;)

We've loved coming here for years, and today we finally returned with both children! The food is delicious, always fresh, and the service is friendly. Not only are the croques delicious, but you should also try the tarte flambée (even the sweet ones!!).

Awesome place, awesome food. We each had a turkey breast baguette and a New York-style baguette. Amazing, simply delicious...

We eat at your place so, so often that I'll just leave some positive feedback. :) No matter when we come, the service is fast, friendly, and great :) The croques, nachos, and garlic bread are amazing. And the coffee is made with love. :) The value for money is amazing, and the seating is really comfortable both inside and outside :) My sister and I are vegetarians and are always happy that there are so many veggie options :) When you come here as often as we do, the chef always knows what we particularly liked or what we'd like to have. A big plus are the special croques, which appear on the menu every now and then! (Vegan gyro croque!!!! ♥️♥️♥️) See you next time! :)

Incredible, INCREDIBLE sandwiches!

We ate there! Service was very friendly! The croques were fantastic, generously topped and moist. The multigrain bread was warm but not too hot, deliciously crispy but not hard. It's well worth the longer journey.

I have no idea what the gods in Olympus used to eat, but I'm pretty sure it must ressemble something like the Pulled pork sandwiches that they make in this place, the guy in the kitchen makes magic in the form of sandwiches!

It is an honest sandwich shop in a quiet area of ​​Berlin. The menu has many options, even vegan. The service is very prompt. Each sandwich comes in 3 sizes and I can say that the L is enough for one person and costs about 13€. The raw material was quite good. If you are near the area and want something quick it is worth trying.

The Formidable Foodbar in Berlin was highly recommended to me, and I went there with this friend. And what can I say? After just the first bite, I knew why everyone was raving about it. The croques are simply amazing. I was curious about the concept and was not disappointed. The sandwiches are huge, with super fresh toppings, and absolutely amazing flavors. Nice and crispy on the outside, juicy and perfectly balanced on the inside. Whether you like meat, vegetarian, or vegan, everyone will be happy here. My friend was pleased that I enjoyed it so much. You can tell that the ingredients are carefully chosen and everything is made with love. On top of that, you're truly full afterward. So not just half a roll with a lettuce leaf, but a wholesome, truly delicious meal. The shop itself is very cozy, and the staff was friendly and relaxed. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome, without any fuss. In short, if you're in Berlin and craving some damn good sandwiches, you should definitely stop by Formidable Foodbar. I give it a solid five out of five stars and will definitely be back.

A place where you can spontaneously have very good food, top service, top and fresh food, very rustic and spartan atmosphere.

And yes, it is formidable. The best sandwiches I've ever tried. Fresh, toasted, warm bread. Fresh and creamy avocado, with just the right touch of pepper. The camembert sandwich is off the charts.

I was nearby for a Berlinale screening, saw this place on Google Maps. Grabbed a #4 sandwich, no tomato with aoli. It was my perfect sandwich. If this was in Toronto I'd be a regular.

I came here because I was craving a pastrami sandwich, so I ordered that. The sandwich was scrumptious. Service was good. The interior is cozy. The only thing that annoyed is me the front door. I wish it was a push-to-open door instead of a pull one. Push-to-open doors are more inviting. Other than that, 10/10 would come again.

Best tarte flambée in Germany! I've eaten tarte flambée everywhere in Germany (even in Alsace), but no one can come close to this tarte flambée. Super friendly and personable owner on top of that. Be sure to try it yourself!

We come here since years with our food tour and the Flammkuchen is outstanding! Amazingly fresh ingredients and made with a lot of love. Probably one of the best Flammkuchen out there! Check it out for yourself! Highly recommended!

I recently visited Formidable based on a friend’s recommendation, and it was WOW, amazing ! The service was top-notch; the guy who attended to us was super friendly and helpful, making great suggestions and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. I went for the pastrami sandwich, and it was fantastic! The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of smokiness and spice, and the bread was fresh and warm, holding everything together beautifully. The portions were generous without feeling overwhelming. Overall, it was a great visit, good food and even better service! I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

Last night with my wife we ​​ordered “Pulled pork” and “Pulled chicken koriander” Two different dishes, and today we both woke up with stomach pain and diarrhea. Either the products they use are in poor condition or the place lacks hygiene. The sandwich was dripping in oil and had little Pulled, as pieces of meat came. The service was terrible, it was something like we were bothering us by ordering and making the cook work. We definitely won't be back.

Yes, that was very tasty there. The tarte flambée was really thin. And the very, very strict Pankow Health Department thinks it's good too. That's really saying something! I'll be back.

This used to be our favourite Sandwich shop for years. Nice, light, and fresh and healthy. Sometimes we would have them multiple days a week and never felt any guilt because of how healthy they tasted. Sadly thats not the case anymore. The Sandwiches now arrive dripping in some oil, so much oil it drips out of the packaging, which we cannot understand, we always order the same turkey sub we always got so nothing changed from our side. Plus the healthy vibe is now completely gone. It tastes heavy and fatty, very fatty. Our last order was such that we could not finish it and felt a bit sick after. Not sure if they changed staff or ingredient sourcing but its now a shadow of the awesomeness we enjoyed routinely for many years. My best wishes still to the place and I hope this review helps them to restore their superb quality again.

Actually it doesn't even deserve one star. The employees are very rude, I waited almost 45 minutes for my food to be ready. I found a bit of worry in my sandwich and told the waiter he said it wasn't a problem, just pull it out and continue to enjoy your food. I wouldn't recommend it. LG Lucas K.

The chicken meat was so hard to chew that I felt like I was chewing rubber. At the end there were about 6 pieces of chicken on the edge of the table that were simply inedible and belonged in the bin. I had a vegan sandwich here and it was only filling. I can’t speak for the non-vegan ones but the one I had only the taste of the sauce. The vegetables were overcooked, slimy and no herbs or garlic were used to give it a nice antipasti taste. The vegan cheese was also pretty bad quality with no taste. The bread (full wheat) was the only thing that was alright. Next time I’d rather get a Makali or falafel nearby. The service was ok, but price a bit above avarage. I wouldn’t come back.

We happened to come here at lunchtime on our first day of vacation in Berlin and ordered a sandwich. Super nice service and good advice:) there were both vegetarian and vegan options :) we immediately felt at home in Berlin :) the food was super tasty and price-performance was okay :) we sat outside in nice weather and had the Berliners Enjoyed the atmosphere. There was also enough space for the stroller, so we could eat in a relaxed manner with a small child.
