Update: I unfortunately have to revise my rating to 1 star. We no longer eat there at all due to three incidents. Once, our doner kebab was extremely dirty. It turned out that the employee responsible for the salad had "forgotten" to wash it. We got a new doner, but things like that can easily lead to serious health problems (EHEC, anyone?). Another time, the chicken wasn't cooked through; it was still half raw. This also poses a risk of serious health problems. The third time, there was a dead wasp in the salad. The response was a shrug, saying it was normal. That was the end of it for us with Ege. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Forget Mustafa and the other hipster doner shops, the best doner in Berlin is definitely at EGE in Tempelhof!!! Super delicious with roasted vegetables, great sauces, and the best chicken. The staff are also incredibly friendly, and they often offer complimentary tea. Highly recommended!

A long-established restaurant in Tempelhof, today was actually my first time here. And I have to say: I haven't had such a delicious kebab in a long time. It's one of the top places in Berlin for kebabs, falafel, and the like! Plus, very friendly service and a cozy atmosphere for a snack bar 🙂

Every bite is surprisingly creative and prepared with great attention to detail (special spices, fresh herbs, lime, etc.). My tip: Get a kebab box in person. Then you'll get a plate of true finesse. The staff were nevertheless very relaxed, friendly, and accommodating. One staff member cleaned everything up, but I wanted to help, but I couldn't. The food was very good, fresh, and delicious. I was here for the first time this evening, on the recommendation of another kebab shop which also makes a great kebab but unfortunately no vegetable kebab. The staff are more than just friendly. A very family-like atmosphere. They do their job with joy and love. You could tell that from the kebab box and the vegetable kebab. I have no idea why I didn't think of this shop sooner, but this is the best vegetable kebab in all of Tempelhof. Please give these guys more attention for what they do and try it for yourself.

EGE is one of the kebab places I remember fondly. They serve the classic gemuse kebab, delicious like most of the top spots in the city. The place is quite spacious, with both indoor and outdoor tables. The convenient, bowl-style serving is a nice touch; not many places offer this approach. :) The price for a kebab is average - 6 euros on my last visit.

One of the tastiest kebabs I've had in Berlin! The taste and presentation at EGE Gemüse Kebab are truly top-notch. The vegetable kebab with halloumi, in particular, was super fresh and very filling. The sauces are a real highlight – the avocado sauce, in particular, is highly recommended. The best part is that it's a family business. The owner and his children work together in the shop, which gives the whole place a particularly warm and family-like atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and hospitable. If you want not only delicious food but also to feel at home, I highly recommend EGE Gemüse Kebab. I'll definitely be back!
